THRUSH, ITCHING AND BURNING OF LABIA

03/30/2009: Celeste from France writes: "Hello Ted,
I need your wisdom as soon as possible.

I have been experiencing recurrent issues for a year and a half now:
Thrush... itching and burning of the labia, diagnosed as MYCOSE, and treated with antibiotics, which i hate.
But problem would reoccur.

Then I stopped taking baths, a recomendation by a urologue, which put an end to the itching. This was three month ago.
I thought i was over the mycose issue!

Then this week, i was diagnosed with a RESISTANT CIPROFLOXACINE in my uterus.

Both the gynecologist and my family doctor tell me that if my boyfriend and i dont do the treatment, 20 days of vibramycine, i am at high risk to becoming sterile.

This makes me very anxious as i wish to have children.

Shall i do the antibiotic treament?
Isn't there a natural way to kill this dormant bacteria?
What shall i do to help my body if i do do the treatment?

Over the years, i have come to distrust doctors, as they have so often led me down a path where my problems would not be cured but rather accentuated.

Doctors always insist on giving antibiotics.
They insist it is the only way, the only cure.

For example, I had a urinary tract infections for 8 years, and it was getting worse by the year.
My immune system was so weakened by the doses of antibiotics, yet doctors (and i saw many in France, Greece, and the US) had only one response to my problem:
stronger and heavier and longer doses of antibiotics.
My instinct and gut feeling knew there was something wrong here, as i knew the more meds i took the worse my situation was getting.

Finally i met a naturopath in California, who told me i had to cut dairy out completaly.
That was three years ago and i havent had a single UTI since then, eventhough i started eating small amounts of dairy again.

I am on a detox at the moment and making huge efforts to be healthy.
I am very nervous and deflated at the thought of taking this antibiotic...

Thank you so much for your time,
Celeste, from France."

04/12/2009: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Dear Celeste:

A urinary tract infection would go away overnight with just one teaspoon of sea salt in a glass of water and drink cranberry juice (or xylitol or mannose). That would have done the trick. Milk obviously is one of the problems, but there is potatoes, peanuts which all carry mycotoxins.

There are a couple of remedies to stop them, where external treatment require the use of plain white distilled vinegar undiluted that is soaked to the area, long enough and frequent enough such as, about 15 minutes three or four times a day to do the killing. A fungus grows exists when pH is 5.0 or below. By my estimates they generally grow between a pH of 4 to 5. They require high sugar environment, high calcium and people on high antibiotics, being that antibiotics are made from a fungus. And some fungus and molds have mycotoxins and aflatoxins, which are cancer causing.

If a person has metabolic acidosis or the body becomes too acid high in sugar, low in chromium, low in manganese, low in vanadium, high in calcium, eat white bread, white flour, white sugar, common table salt, low iodine are the common foot prints of a person with a high fungus.

If the vinegar isn't working, then it helps with milk of magnesia being applied to the area, a couple of times before rinsing, but only if the white distilled vinegar isn't working. Also if it does have some result, in the long run vinegar would be more ideal of external wash to the area.

The body needs to be more alkalize to fend off the fungus and must detoxify the antibiotics residue left in the body through the use of baking soda, sodium carbonate, potassium bicarbonate and drops of hydrogen peroxide. The remedy is 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon sodium carbonate and 1/2 teaspoon of potassium bicarbonate (or potassium citrate) in 1/2 glass of water twice a day. Once in morning and evening.

The hydrogen peroxide will oxidize and detox most of the fungus residue from the antibiotics, and other toxic elements such as aflatoxin, mycotoxin and other chemicals that is recirculated. The remedy is between 30 drops to 40 drops of 3% H2O2 in one liter of drinking water. It is drank throughout the day like a normal drinking water. I helps to take vitamin C sodium ascorbate 500 mg when taking the peroxide in water. To balance the antioxidant as the body tries to detox fungus residues.

If it is still not working the milk of magnesia we can add 10% mannitol or 10 % xylitol or 10% mannose to the solution to help remove them better. Sometimes borax 1/8 teaspoon in one liter of water is taken perhaps once or twice a week to help reduce fungus buildup in the water as boron (in borax) is also an essential mineral.

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE FOR THRUSH

11/11/2007: Kathleen writes: "Hello Ted, Your recipe for the H2O2 gargle for thrush calls for only 1/4 teaspoon to be gargled. I assume this is the measuring spoon used in U.S. measurements? I ask, because it is such a tiny amount that there is hardly enough to gargle. By my calculations, this would be just over one ml.. Is this correct? Thank you for all the great health information you give us at Earth Clinic. Sincerely, Kathleen"

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Kathleen:

A 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda is added to about 1/2 glass of water in H2O2 1% is used as a gargle and the solution is weak. However, if 1/4 teaspoon is used and not to be used as a gargle, is to take 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water, taken internally twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. Once the body has sufficiently alkalinity, generally the growth of thrush would be less.

If a stronger solution is desired, and it is to be gargled, a 1/2 tablespoon in 1/2 glass of 1% H2O2 might be better.

Actually, the best thrush remedy is 1/2 tablespoon of borax in a 1% H2O2 solution of 1/2 glass, stirred with a plastic spoon. The thrush is a fungus or yeast and a borax dissolved in H2O2 1% seems to work best. This is done about 3-5 times so that it can kill the thrush once in the morning.

Other remedies that is helpful for thrush includes 5 drops of lugol's or iodine tincture in 1/2 glass of water to be used as a gargle.

Finally a unique remedy against the thrush, that seems to work for me too is 1 tablespoon of pure xylitol dissolved in 1/2 glass of water and it is to be slipped slowly and taken internally so that the xylitol kills off the thrush.

A xylitol actually have some antifungal properties too, although in practice I also take 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 glass of water too, since the xylitol may cause the body to be slightly acidic and the baking soda will neutralize that.

Some selenium supplements 200 mcg taken once a day for five days out of a week also have some anti fungal properties too.

Ted"
