What Is ED?
Erectile dysfunction, or ED, occurs when a man is not able to get or keep an erection that is firm enough for sexual intercourse. Periodic erection issues are not necessarily cause for concern. Erectile dysfunction is typically considered an ongoing problem and may cause stress, relationship issues and diminished self-confidence.
Erectile dysfunction is a very specific disorder that involves definite symptoms. Erectile dysfunction or ED symptoms may include trouble getting an erection, difficulty keeping an erection or reduced sexual desire. Symptoms of erectile dysfunction are consistent and generally persist over time.
Male sexual arousal is a complex issue that involves the interaction of various factors. The brain, hormones, emotions, nerves, muscles and blood vessels all work together to establish a male’s arousal. As such, several factors contribute to erectile dysfunction. Stress and mental health issues can worsen erectile dysfunction as can several physical and psychological issues. However, in most cases erectile dysfunction is caused by a physical issue. Heart disease, clogged blood vessels, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity and metabolic syndrome can cause ED. Additionally, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, low testosterone and Peyronie’s disease may contribute to the development of ED. Likewise, certain prescription medications, extended tobacco use, alcoholism, treatments for prostate cancer and surgeries and injuries that affect the pelvic area and spinal cord can cause erectile dysfunction. Depression, stress and relational issues may also contribute to erectile dysfunction.
Natural ED Treatment
Several natural treatments for ED have been identified. One of Earth Clinic's most popular ED treatments involves the combination of cayenne pepper and garlic. [YEA] Over the last four months, my husband's libido has been decreasing. Maybe not his desire, but certainly his ability to maintain an erection. He was feeling really low and said he didnt feel like a man. I remembered reading many 'Yea' responses on the ACV page regarding the success of this remedy. I have been experimenting with ACV for myself and my dogs (weight loss, allergies, etc... ) and I wanted my husband to try it for his problem. He took a dose of it one night and the next morning, he was very proud of himself that things were 'looking up'. The ACV literally performed a miracle with just one dose. He now takes it daily (and I dont have to deliver it to him any more) and there have been no problems in that department anymore! I also think it has really helped with his allergies AND he's dropped a few lbs without any effort on his part.
EC - Can you please post this under Erectile Dysfunction? Someone had asked about whether ACV works and there are no responses on that particular ailment's page.

[YEA] Erectile Dyfuction: The amino acid Arginine with Horny Goat Weed works. Start out with 2 1000 mg of Arginine and 2 500 mg of HGW daily. Work up to more if necessary. Kick in a little Cayenne for good measures.Replied by Sarah
