What is H. Pylori?
Helicobacter pylori is a species of bacteria that can cause stomach infections, typically acquired during childhood. It's possible to have an infection and not get sick from it, and as a result it is believed that over half the world could be affected by H. pylori. How do you get H. pylori infections? H. pylori bacteria is easily spread through contact with contaminated saliva, vomit, fecal matter, and also through food or water.
H. pylori symptoms may or may not be present in those with an infection, but it is a common cause of ulcers and may cause aches or burning pains, nausea, vomiting, frequent burping, bloating, and weight loss. Once identified, H. pylori is easy to take care of.

Pylori section here under ailments includes about every treatment I've seen, that's been used effectively against this parasite, which also robs us of vital nutrients, B12 being one of them. (low stomach acid often allows pathogens to invade, and low stomach acid makes it difficult to absorb nutrients. ) Sometimes weight loss in general, and muscle loss in particular may be a sign of B12 deficiency. A sublingual lozenge of methylcobalamin, at about 1000 mcg. or so is fairly easy for most people to absorb.
