BURNING STOMACH SINCE EATING UNWASHED SALAD
11/01/2009: Tara from Boston, Ma writes: "Dear Ted,
I am having stomach issues and I can't find a remedy to help. Stomach pain all the time, lower abdomen. It happened after I ate a bunch of salad from a container that says triple washed, so I didn't wash it. Diarrhea the next morning, then no more, just constant stomach pain and some fatigue. Would acv and baking soda be best? I did try that a few times. Also taking chinese herbs for the stomach that I got from an acupuncturist and trying SSKI, slippery elm, Licorice DGL.
I have an appointment with the doctor tomorrow. Chinese medicine doctor said organs were all in good shape and ovaries too... he thought it was inflammation in the colon. The acupuncture helped for 1 day, but now back to the burning.
Thank you very much for any advice you can offer."
11/01/2009: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Get the pH paper, measure ur urine and saliva. If it is still acid, then that's the cause. One missing element of SSKI is the lugol's solution. Take two drops of that. As to your stomach pain, green tea and clove tea. Add one to three drops of clove oil to one cup of green tea. Take them frequently. You can also add some beer, it goes down quicker to kill the lingering bacteria. Say two-three tablespoons of beer. Another one is clove shots. 50 cc of beer plus 2 or 3 drops of clove oil. Also, thyme and oregano in the spice section, all these are natural antibiotics."
11/07/2009: Tara from Boston replies: "Ted, I tried the remedies you suggested, thank you very much. I did 3 drops of clove oil in green tea 2 times a day for a few days. The second day I felt better, but then the symptoms returned. I think this may be h.pylori. Would you change the protocol for h.pylori? My doctor ran another full blood panel and urinalyis and everything came back normal. Thank you again."
11/07/2009: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "To kill any organism, you require to take it frequently. Remember the swine flu remedy where it is taken frequently one hour or less. It's the same principle. You need to take a small 100 cc dose of strong solution every hour so that they don't grow back - the h. pylori. To do this try an hourly and do not exceed 1 hour, otherwise it's done all over again, possibly. H. Pylori may not grow back if constantly bombarded with clove, cinnamon, if the assault is constant throughout the day. A xylitol or maybe a cranberry mixed into that may prevent H. pylori from attaching itself to the stomach.I believe you need hourly dose of this for 12 hours, with clove tea. Maybe an aspirin on the 12th dose, dissolved in a 1/2 cup of water, as the final nuke. What protects the h. pylori is the biofilm. But it seems green tea and xylitol may reduce some of that and hence maybe taken throughout the day along with the clove tea.
Another possibility is to use mucus to clear out H. pylori for the burning stomach, which is N Acetylcysteine 500 mg taken hourly doses also. This is taken along with the other things also."
11/07/2009: Tara from Boston, Ma replies: "Thank you, I will work on this and let you know!Question about your h.pylori remedies; what is the strong solution that I should take every hour? Green tea with 1, 2 or 3 drops of clove oil? So it would be 100 cc of green tea with 1 drop of clove taken every hour? Thank you so much. Really, thank you!"
11/08/2009: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "For H.pylori a strong solution, if taken hourly of course appears closer to 2 drops. Try to mix some 500 mg of aspirin, this is hourly, but only four doses. In the green tea solution. My impression is your body is sensitive, so you decide between 1-2 drops. Maths aside, the calculation is 2 drops, but 1 drop maybe fine. a tiny pinch of xylitol if you don't mind the diarrhea. It helps if N acetyl cystiene is taken as mentioned. It improves the clearance. The dose I am hoping for a one day cure here."

INFLAMED ILEUM (ILEITIS)
05/28/2008: Laura from Dothan, Alabama writes: "i have been diagnosed with inflamed ileum or ileitis. i have severe and very painful stomach and abdomen cramping. i have been on pain meds and antibiotics for a week. i have to go to work and the pain meds make me loopy. there has to be another answer!"
07/08/2008: Tammy from Rochester, Minnesota replies: "I also have been diagnosed with Ileitis. The doctors wanted to put me on steroids, but I quit after two weeks because they really affected my moods. I am now following a specific carbohydrate diet (avoiding double sugar foods and eating single sugar foods), which has helped a lot. Google "Lucy's Kitchen" to get some cookbooks that have some great recipes. According to the author of "Breaking the Viscious Cycle", if you stick to this diet for 1-2 years, it allows your intestinal tract to heal and you should be able to reintroduce the double sugar foods back into your diet (I've been on it now for 9 months...only time I went back to the hospital because of the pain was when I went off the diet)."
