CAN ALOE AND APPLE CIDER VINEGAR BE APPLIED TO SKIN CONDITION?

02/09/2012: Elaine from San Francisco, Ca Usa: "I developed a weird scummy thing on my nose a few weeks ago. I tried antiobiotic cream and oral antihistamines and they did nothing.

I have been applying apple cider vinegar to the spot the last few days. It seems to be helping to dry the area up and I keep sporting the same old ugly scab though!

Instead of applying concealer, I got some small bandaids that I wear when I go out.

I have an aloe vera plant outside. I am curious--has anyone applied BOTH aloe and ACV for such a condition?

Thanks for a GREAT site! Thanks to the many success stories, I am now starting to consume ACV as well... it does seem to be a good thing for many pesky conditions of the body."

SHOWERING OR BATHING GIVE ME EXTREMELY ITCHY SKIN

02/06/2012: Mary from Omaha, Usa: "After I shower or bathe my skin is extremely itchy that if I let myself I will leave scratches on myself that bleed. This last up to an hour. I have tried everything I can think of. I use soaps and body wash that have no chemicals, has only natural ingredients and oils. I use body oils with essential oils in it. It makes it very hard to enjoy a shower, bath or want to shower. The doctor says I do not have a skin disorder, rash or anything like that. He says I just have very dry skin. I am willing to take suggestions on how to help with this in anyway.

Blessed Be,

Mary"

ARE FATS NOT BEING BROKEN DOWN THE CAUSE OF SKIN ISSUES AND OTHER AILMENTS?

02/02/2012: Anthony from Philadelphia, Pa: "I have read that fats not being broken down contribute to blackheads, sebum production, keratin, dandruff, and many other ailments. Also, I think I read Ted say this is also a contributing factor to colitis.... Has anyone had success with a treatment for keratin, sebum and so on with either eliminating fats or using a supplement to help digest fats. I have a blackhead/sebum/hard keratin issue on my face and scalp. Thanks for reading!!!"

CAN YOU PLEASE ADVISE ME ON ITCHING TURNING TO BLISTERS ON HANDS/ FEET

09/14/2011: Daniel from Penang, Malaysia: "Dear Ted, I currently suffer from consistence itchiness in my feet and hands and when I scratch it a little, it turns into a blister. I normally pop it with a needle and try not to allow the skin to come off until new skin has grown back below it. However, the itch doesn't seem to go away and it's effecting my daily life.

I am allergic to large doses of alcohol consumed, but not applied externally, and so I am unable to try any remedy that requires that.

Would you kindly advise me on what I can do to help cure the itchiness in my feet and hands? I have access to a wide range of chemicals as my friend is a chemist with access to just about anything on the Periodic Table. However, I would appreciate it if caustic acids were not included.

Just as a note. I am a soapmaker and work with Sodium Hyroxide regularly. I wear protective gear which includes pharmaceutical grade rubber gloves (no latex), surgery grade face mask, ventilated drilling goggles, wellington boots, a certified acid resistant body suit and a well ventilated work area. I also frequent with use of Potassium Hydroxide, Essential Oils, Colours, dye, etc.

Any help provided would be greatly appreciated.

Daniel"

YELLOW SKIN AROUND MOUTH

05/01/2011: Deandra from Portland, Or: "I have what I call a Fred Flintstone chin. It is yellow around my mouth and chin. My chiropractor told me it looks like classic birth control pill side effect. I haven't been on the pill for about 7 years and would like to find a way to get rid of this. It has been this way for almost 30 years. I am 50 and just starting periomenopause symptoms. I am going to try to castor oil pack my liver. Any other suggestions? Any suggestions, Ted?"
