Is it recommended to do the H202 inhalation therapy even when you are not sick? just for good health?
Nebulizer
I am 68 and currently fighting Cov. I have always been prone to bronchitis which can turn into bronchial infection and/or pneumonia. I feel it is leaning toward pneumonia and I've been told to nebulize hydrogen peroxide.
All I have is the usual 3% solution, but even I've been told I can use this, I should dilute it with saline. I only have a nasal saline solution that is 0.65% sodium chloride solution. Does anyone know how to use these?

Is it important to get food grade hydrogen peroxide as opposed to the "brown bottle" 3% for a nebulizer?

I use 3% in nebulizer for 1 minute 6 times a day. Is there any information or informed opinion, is this good or bad?

Why do you strongly state "DO NOT INHALE IT UP THE NOSE!!"? I have chronic sinusitis and thought this could be helpful.
EC: Because Bill's method does not dilute the peroxide and 3% H202 should be diluted at least 50/50 with distilled water if you are going to sniff it. That method (ie, the hydrogen peroxide in a neti pot or hydrogen peroxide and sea salt in water) is very popular if you check out the feedback on the Sinus Infection page of Earth Clinic.

It seems you all use a pump to back of throat. Have any if you used a nebulizer? Because I ordered it an it looks like it has a mask type that I think covers both nose and mouth. And I read here you aren't supposed to get it into your nose. So I'm confused....
Hi Paul, What else did you add to the nebulizer with the H2O2? Saline and distilled water and if so how much? Thanks!

Hi there, Does anyone know if you can use the inhalation method with mercury amalgam fillings? I found out the hard way that you really cannot drink it unfortunately, and I haven't had them removed yet. I got so many benefits from H2O2 (before I got sick due to teh mercury released) that I would like to be able to use it. Alternatively can I drink it using a straw as one person suggested? Sorry if this has been covered, I haven't been able to find the answer.
Inhalation, if done correctly, should bypass your fillings. I would not recommend using the H2O2 mouth rinse though. I suspect, that a good deal of rinsing with water and spitting would minimize any amalgam/H2O2 reactions.

Hi Robert. I stink at math...please help me figure this out :). I bought food grade hydrogen peroxide at 3% strength, I know it sounds stupid but how do I get that to 1.5? I realize it's half, but what would be the water/hydrogen peroxide ratio?
Thank you in advance! I'm so happy to hear your positive story and that you are sharing it. We are not getting anything from the docs so thank GOD for this site.

Theresa (Tallahassee, Florida), I appreciated your article. I have had what is believed to be pneumococcal (systemic with many strong symptoms beside severe acute bronchitis) since late October 2015. I have had 2 regular doctors, 2 ER visits, an Infectious disease specialist (with a new one coming up at the end of this month), a cardiologist, and a pulmonologist! My situation was pretty bad initially but then worsened around Thanksgiving. The doctors haven't really done much (and nothing to cure the problem but just help with symptoms - which hasn't worked). Pneumococcal - Streptococcus Pneumoniae... Despite the name, the organism causes many types of pneumococcal infections other than pneumonia. These invasive pneumococcal diseases include bronchitis, rhinitis, acute sinusitis, otitis media, conjunctivitis, meningitis, bacteremia, sepsis, osteomyelitis, septic arthritis, endocarditis, peritonitis, pericarditis, cellulitis, and brain abscess. BTW, I was on that same antifungal medication (Itraconazole) in 2009 for a rare type of fungal pneumonia (Chronic pulmonary aspergillosis) from 1/19/2009 until early April of 2009 before it finally knocked out the fungal infection! In the current case, I have been on a 10-day cycle of 500mg Levofloxacin and a 10-day cycle of 750mg Levofloxacin in December to early January. Nothing. Which means that it could be fungal - or a pneumococcal strain (Streptococcus pneumoniae) that is resistant to Pneumococcal Bacteria (of the 90-some known strains, all are resistant to sulfa-based antibiotics, most are resistant to penicillin-based antibiotics, and up to 30% are resistant to Levofloxacin - and all other antibiotics except Vancomycin (no known strain of S. Pneumoniae is resistant to Vancomycin... so of course no one will consider that option). Anyway, until it gets to the point of getting in to see the new Infectious Disease specialist (who is supposed to be top notch - and who got things cleared up in 2009), I am going to use the Hydrogen Peroxide mist therapy (using saline mist sprayers as I don't have a nebulizer). I believe that in addition to killing off bacteria, fungi, mold, viruses, whatever, that it has a strong capability to loosen up clogged congestion, especially (as in my case where there is strong inflammation that causes chest congestion to "dry up" and clog internal bronchial / lung surfaces... in other words, a very good liquifier and expectorant. I hope that your condition has cured up.

Hi Kennywally,
Any information at all with regards to COPD is very helpful! I have heard of the ACV as well but not tried it..(as yet) the H2O2 has done wonders for me, but anything that comes along I'm willing to give it a go.
In a Rehab unit I was in a few years ago now, there was a large sign on the wall....it read, "When you can't breath, nothing else matters" and that sentence is so true.
Thanks for letting me know about the ACV. all the best Kennywally.

Hi,
My father have lung issue for 5 years and his condition not improved. He can hardly go out from home. Please let me know you are still fine after treating with H2O2?

I have also experienced severe wheezing, coughing and restricted breathing since I started the protocol. Mine started within 2 days, and has gotten worse over this first week. I had finally gotten my asthma under control through using homeopathic remedies and then it started again with the H2O2 protocol. Not being able to breathe is a side effect I can't deal with so I stopped the protocol. Your testimony is the only place I've seen where someone else experienced this, too. I wish I knew if this was “normal” to experience.

You need an assessment of your health. Go to jingherbsanalysis.com and do TCM assessment, then set up a free 15 min. Consult with them or $150 consult, they will give you a $150 certificate, so it is still free. I have tried to find an online diagnostic service where you answer close to 1000 questions about your health and symptoms, but have no luck so far. I used them in 2006-07, they are in Hawaii and it is all computerized. If I find it I will let you know. You need to know what is going on. Resetting your body is another way to go, but google about it. Ice water showers is all I know. You need to stress your body enough for it to reset itself and that is something you need to decide for yourself. With too many symptoms you need to step back and evaluate it from the holistic approach. You did not tell anything about yourself, symptoms, the approach would be different if you are 25 or 65.

I have chronic bronchitis. MDs almost killed me. They failed to diagnose hypothyroid disease for years until I was almost dead. All they did was prescribe antibiotics for years, which ruined my entire body and my health. It's been a long road back, but now I'm much healthier. H2O2 was a huge part of my recovery in ALL areas.
I use 1/2 H2O2 (Buy 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide at Whole Foods) and 1/2 distilled (DO NOT use tap) water in my nebulizer cup. Inhale this for 15 minutes. If this is too strong or too long for you, work up to it. I use it every other day.
You also might want to try Probiotics and/or organic Apple Cider Vinegar (2 TBSP/DAY) for your intestinal problems. Also buy a juicer! Veggie juice will help cure everything! Get rid of ALL junk food-sugar, flour, anything processed. Eat organic as much as you can.
Best advice, find a good integrative MD and stay away from conventional MDs. I would be dead by now if I was taking medical advice from them. Also read online the symptoms of hypothyroid. If you think you have it, find an integrative DR. who will actually listen to you, and prescribe these hormones.
High Altitude
Hi! I've been battling with an ongoing staph infecting for about 5 years now. ABX obviously don't work & I've been using minerals as ABX whenever the boils/cysts presents itself.
I've used H2o2 IV's in the past, but they are so incredibly expensive I haven't been able to keep up with them long enough to eradicate this bacteria fully (though it's definitely weakened). I think nebulizing with H2o2 is the ticket & after reading so much about your experiences and successes, I'm sold.
I'm worried about nebulizing H202 in high altitudes. Should this be a concern? I'm between 5,000 - 7,000 feet above sea level and I've only just moved here, so my lungs have been feeling a slow readjustment to new altitude.
Thanks for any help/input. x Mallory
Turmeric is the answer to boils, staph - I have used after learning on EC for years. Buy a very large bag at the local Indian grocer, take a teaspoon at a time several times a day when you have boils, works wonders, dries up quick, pain stops. Search the site and read all about this spice.

I've been doing some research on Bill Munro's hydrogen peroxide inhaling treatment and so far all I've found indicates that it is extremely toxic. Of course, prior to finding as much information, I decided to give it a try by adding 1 tiny drop of h2o2 to my albuterol solution and the first time, worried about the consequences I found it felt as if it might work. My breathing immediately improved and felt different than just taking the albuterol. Unfortunately, after having read more, I must say I am now more worried of continuing. I'd appreciate any information amy one can provide on the subject.
Gus, the internet has every idea and it's exact opposite all over the web. So if you experienced help from it, go for it BUT SLOWLY. For example, I alway water down even the plain 3% HP from the drugstore even just for rinsing the mouth.

Dear Gus,
I agree with Mmsg.
We have found H2O2 inhalation (via inhalation or nebulizer) to work very well and we have not had any side effects in our family.
I do not think I would mix albuterol with Hydrogen Peroxide. I am not a chemist; perhaps it is okay. But unless I was sure there would be no reaction to use both together, I would use them apart. Maybe even 4 hours apart from each other. We have used albuterol and hydrogen peroxide in the nubulizer, but never at the same time. When I use peroxide in the nebulizer, I dilute it with distilled water. 5 drops hydrogen peroxide to 35 drops of water.

I have read that you should not use tap water in the neti pot due to potential parasites, etc. I normally use distilled, but have a trip coming up. BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS
I am a smoker and have shortness of breath, I thought I would try bill munroe's hydrogen peroxide inhalation, I have been doing this for about a week or 10 days. I do believe my shortness of breath might be a "little" better but I am so tired I cannot hardly stay awake. I usually get 5-6 hrs sleep per night but now am getting 7-8 hr sleep @ night and have no energy at all. Is this from the hydrogen peroxide inhalation or do you think it would be something else? I am thinking of quitting the hydrogen peroxide, what does everyone think? Thanks.
No one can be sure I guess, but I actually got more energy from the inhalation therapy. One thought came to mind tho as a long time smoker myself. It is not recommended to use the peroxide after any breathing treatment or cigarette. Causes chemical reaction. So try that. Make sure you have not smoked or done any breathing tx close to the time you do the Perox.
Good luck.
If you had a heavy fungal infection in your lungs (these are often very difficult to diagnose, especially histo and a few others. Not like other fungus at all! It took a very long time on high dose of antifungals to make improvement years back when I had it disseminate again. Despite not having Aids, but actually having an OVER active immune(autoimmune) I have gotten disseminated histo 2x in my life. I suspect I am not alone and many are never diagnosed properly. Blood test missed it on 3 out 4 tests. This is worse because most doctors do the wrong test for histo. I am nearly blind from the immune reactivity during and after histo subsides in some of us. That is very rare tho and I suspect many are walking around with low grade, undiagnosed fungal infections draining the life from us. I am lucky my test was positive and they now keep me on maintenance. DOES NOT STOP me from getting some fungal infections in my lungs tho and the peroxide DOES HELP!

I just read your post concerning lobelia tincture, I assume this is for difficulty breathing, I think I will try this to see if it will help me with my shortness of breath, I tried jacks tea for about a week and it did not help me, the only thing I did different is I could not find mullein pods so I got some mullein leaves and boiled & strained the leaves, got leaves from a health food store. do you think the lobelia will help me or can you suggest anything else? I feel fine other than I really get winded just even walking across the room. thank you so much for any help you can suggest.

Hi RH, a while back you mentioned that you've been using a cool mist humidifier at night and that you add 1/2 cup of drugstore peroxide to the water and found that it helped you and your bride breathe through your nose all night.
I wondered if you use regular, old tap water or if you use distilled water?
Thanks!
Breathing Issues
I tried putting 1 oz of Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide (fghp) in one gallon of filtered water in a cool vapor vaporizer --using for asthma and copd. I got these directions from the seller of the h202. The vapor ruined my comforter cover and pillow cases and a sheet, and pajama top--small to medium size holes! I hate to think what this might be doing to my lungs. I didn't notice the holes until I washed the linens and the holes appeared. It was obviously too potent.
Breathing Issues
Not quite answering the question but may I add a little note here. In checking out the purity of the H20 that I use, I needed to know if there were stabilizers in the ingredient list, I rang the manufacturing company and lied. Told them my daughter was doing a school project and needed to know if there were any added ingredient in the product, to be told "No absolutely not". I would worry more about the stabilizers added to the peroxide as opposed to the water quality. Peroxide should clean the water by itself.
Breathing Issues
Thank you, Robert Henry!
I'd been using tap water but wanted to double-check to verify that it was okay to use.
My humidifier came with instructions to clean the unit's base once a week with white vinegar, and to clean the water tank with 1T of bleach mixed with water, so I've been doing that all along.
Thanks, again!
P.S. Many of my family members and friends call me "Lizzie", too. :)
Breathing Issues
In my opinion...and I'm not a doctor, but if you are inhaling it correctly, and using a good nasal mist pump bottle, I cannot see where you wouldn't have an easier time breathing. I would imagine if you are severe...you may not be getting it deep enough into your lungs. I think you are on the right track. Most of the articles I have read on this...and I have read many, ...they say you sometimes will have a little discomfort as it may be stirring up all the toxins and bacteria and it takes time to expell it. I was on the drinking method for a month due to having problems with bacteria in my stomach a lot. My fifth day, I vomited nothing but bile and bacteria. That was suppose to happen and it meant it was working on me. Same thing I would imagine applies. You have very little space in your lungs and it may take time to clear your situation up. I wish you all the luck in the world. I have researched for over a month straight on all these h2o2 therapies and I have not found anyone who didn't have some type of success out of it. And trust me...I looked. I love this and I am so happy to have found this...I won't ever stop and I will be 54 next month. My son is 28 and he has major issues where he can't breathe thru his nose at night...and sometimes during the day. I am putting him with a humidifier at night in his room. Will update soon.

It is a humidifier, not a nebulizer that ruined my bedding. Thank you

Was that 3% or 35% used in humidifier? it must have been 35%, which would be way too strong undiluted and could do that. On this site it clarifies ratios when using 3 % or 35% and even percentages in between. You can print them off or copy them. Good Luck and best wishes in future.
