High Blood Pressure cured with Grape Seed Oil!

Have been using GSO now for about 2 years & must report that both my HBP & bad CHOLESTEROL have been excellent in the past 6 months of lab work! Though nothing would ever make them normal again and from using it to cook and as a moisturizer. My mom's as well. She was at 260/150 and now 105/59 just like me! Truly amazing!!!

In the last six months, I have changed my Toothpaste that had Fluoride to non Fluoride Toothpaste and my Blood pressure has gotten to a normal state. Our Government is feeding us C**P, it is a money maker for Dentist & Oncologist. Fluoride has never been approved by the FDA to put in water & Toothpaste The Government won't go near this subject they know it will open a can of worm's. If you read your tooth paste it will say if a six year old swallows a pea sized amount call Poison control. If its poison for a lab Rat it is Poison for Humans of all ages. It stops the production of "62 vital Thyroid enzymes that will open the door to Cancer and other illnesses" it was used in the Sarin gas that was used to kill people it has been classified a neurotoxin by toxicologist with Fluoridealert.org. The German scientist came up with it in 1930 and the United States started using it in 1945 under the false image as good for teeth it passes the to the endocrine system there it does it's damage to Bones look it up: www.fluoridealert.org.

Taurine
Posted by Citygirl27 (Richardson, Tx, Usa) on 03/30/2013

That makes perfect sense, as taurine regulates and normalizes heartbeat. Contrary to what is claimed, it is not the ingredient in "energy drinks" that causes any problems. Taurine also occurs naturally in red meat. It gets its name from the "meat of the bull".

Chanting

My dad (a scientist/atheist) had extremely high blood pressure that was not being controlled with prescription meds (even though he was taking 3 different kinds of blood pressure meds! )

I read on webMD that meditation with a mantra helps reduce blood pressure. I asked my dad to do an experiment. First, to take his blood pressure. He did. It was 179/76. Then I asked him to chant "Nam-myoho-renge-kyo" with me for 15 minutes (it is a Buddhist chant that means "dedication to the mystical/inexplicable Law of Cause and Effect through sound/vibration"). He only chanted for 7 minutes and then wanted to take his blood pressure again, immediately. He did, and his blood pressure was 105/67.

We tried this experiment every day for a week. Every time, it worked to lower his blood pressure.

Chanting definitely reduces blood pressure. I have also used chanting to relieve anxiety, reduce depression and to access the subconscious mind. Try it and see!!! It's free and it works.

Earthing

WORKED TEMPORARILY

I have high blood pressure also. For over 10 years, I no longer eat fast foods, very little process foods, no cheese, no ice cream, no red meat, and no pork. I even stop eating out in restaurants. My bp will still read 140 / 88, sometimes 127 / 82 most of the time. I take garlic, Niacin, and Magneisium pills, and I still have to struggle to get down to the standard 120 / 80. I'm skinny, 5'6" 141 lbs Female. So losing weight is not an option. I exercised at the gym for over 8 months, it came down a little, but never made a big difference. I drink at least 40 ozs of water, sometime more, and sometimes less. It gets very frustrating. After awhile, you're doing so much of taking this and taking that, you fill like you're about to go crazy!

I have tried Alkaline water, Apple Cider Vinegar, Hydrogen Peroxide, earthing. Oops, forgot to mention something. Whenever I cut or rake the grass for 2 or more hours, my blood pressure drops down to 111/ 68. Then 6 hours later, it starts going back up. Hmmm, I stopped earthing because I've been taking care of this 96 year old lady. If you guys can hit me back with so other alternatives, I really appreciate it. My last day of Caregiving is late May. I will reply back by the end of the Summer, maybe sooner! I'm going to try earthing for a month or two, and see how it works out. After all, Earthing is FREE, and you're pulling electrons up into your body from the ground. It's very interesting. Did you know a Free Radical is missing an Electron? Stand on the Earth barefoot, and absorb all the Electrons you want. Electrons will stabilize the Free Radicals. Earthing is like getting FREE Antioxidants! - Gotta Go, will keep in touch.

I have also eliminated taking any acid reflux meds also which I was on for 8 years. The site has been good for me and my health. I am lucky that that is all the ailments I have is high bp which is under control and acid reflux which is under control. Now about those 6 grandkids, lol.

Magnesium
Posted by Timh (Louisville, Ky, Usa) on 01/27/2012 2041 posts

Christine, to strengthen the heart, make sure you add Selenium and Vit-E to the CoQ10 as they work best together; and it's also recommended to swap the CoQ10 for the better form ---Ubiquinone, especially as one ages. *A note on Selenium, England is notorious for high Sel soil levels which have threatened cattle & sheep herds, and hastened tooth decay in humans, so I would take less than the recommended dose.

As for herbs, look for an herbal combination which contains as many of the fallowing as possible: Hawthorn, Cayenne, Ginger, Garlic, Ginko Biloba.

A dash of Sea Salt in 1/4-1/2 cup water 2 daily is good for HBP.

Hope this helps and good luck.

Also have plenty of omega 3 in your diet or buy Hemp oil or powder. But CQ10 will work at dose I have given you hun ok? Love Andrea C xxxxxxxxxx

To all who have high blood pressure and have questions regarding magnesium - I improved my high blood pressure dramatically by taking different type of magnesium, but found that mixed form of different types (citrate, chloride and else) works the best. I take 2 pills (400mg) in a morning and 1-2 in the evening. Also - vitamin B6, fist 3 weeks 200mg per day, after that - 100mg per day. Plus - parsley and garlic oil in capsules - 1 cap in the morning (diuretic). If your liver does not work properly - it can lead to high blood pressure.

Also found some info online regarding natural remedies for high blood presure - "Start your day with a cup of cayenne tea - 1 teaspoon in a cup of hot water (I personally think it's too strong, maybe 1/2 tsp?). Plus garlic pill and hawthorn berry 565 mg. Do it 3 times per day. Also 2 tablespoons of organic vinegar in water sometime during the day. Add 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon to plain yogurt and eat, it will reduce blood pressure instantly."

Bragg is an organic unfiltered ACV (with mother in it), meaning it's not filtered....looks murky not clear, so all the good stuff is still in it.

You can find Aloe leafs in the produce section of some grocery stores. I know Save A Lot carries them.

High BP is a symptom that something is wrong in your body. Try Vitamin D3 supplements. Take 5,000 IU per day. Low Vitamin D affects almost every aspect of body functioning and can cause blood pressure to go up. Many doctors feel that a blood level of 30 ng/ml is sufficient, but newer research indicates that it should be above 50 ng/ml for optimal health. Make sure it's D3 (cholecalciferol), not D2.

I struggled for years with high blood pressure and medications were not very effective and I hated the side-effects. I found the solution in drinking plenty of water throughout the day (at least 1/2 my weight in ounces) and I take approx. 1000 mg of magnesium per day, 700 of it at bedtime and I also take hawthorn supplement, just one a day, and a low dose of melatonin at night--usually about 2.5 mg. I will vary the melatonin and not take it every single night but will skip a night now and then. Wonderfully successful results and I feel so much better!

High Blood Pressure/Adrenal Connection
Posted by Bill (San Fernando, Luzon, Philippines) on 01/27/2011

Hi Arias... Your situation would seem to indicate several deficiencies.

Regarding your heart problems, I also had leg muscle cramps, irregular heart beat and dizziness when I had systemic candida. There are two supplements that will help this condition tremendously. Magnesium and Lugol's Iodine. I used both in my own remedy for this problem. Supplementing with two to four drops of 5% Lugol's Iodine per day as well as supplementing with 250 mgs Magnesium (as Mag Chloride, Mag Citrate or Mag Gluconate) twice a day.

You are currently taking potassium, which will surely help you. Unfortunately, without taking sufficient magnesium, which both regulates the potassium as well as calcium in your cells, then the proper beneficial effects of potassium won't be fully affected or felt.

As well, without a proper magnesium balance, calcium usually builds up in excess -- causing acidity in the tissues. This causes pain and fatigue. What would also help you would be to avoid any dairy for a while -- no milk, yoghurts, ice cream, cheese etc and see if this makes a difference. I mention this because all processed food these days are all too over-fortified with calcium and lacks the presence and regulating effects of magnesium. Therefore, too much intracellular acidity, due to excess calcium, is created in our tissue cells.

Almost certainly you have a low iodine intake dietary problem since it is well known that low iodine in diet causes imbalances in lipid (fat) and glucose regulation in the body. Have a look at this link:

The Iodine/Glucose/Lipid Metabolism Connection

Many of your problems also seem to relate to low thyroid iodine. Taking Lugol's Iodine will also help your thyroid as well as your heart problems. Adrenal fatigue problems are also invariably linked and associated with thyroid problems. The Magnesium supplement works synergistically with iodine and should also greatly help any arthritic or rheumatic problems as well. See these links:

Magnesium Chloride - Medical History

Magnesium Chloride Research(PDF)

Check-out using Magnesium Oil transdermally here:

EC - Using Transdermal Magnesium Oil

What I would also do is protect your own liver. If you do this you will also be protecting your blood and hormonal balance. The best way to do this is to take the following supplements:

Milk Thistle -- 1000 gms twice a day

Alpha Lipoic Acid -- 300 mgs twice a day

Selenium -- 200 micrograms once or twice Day

Take the above supplements with food at lunch and dinner. It is also advisable to take standard B50 complex dosages since the above combination of supplements tends to deplete vitamin B in the body.

This is a Triple Antioxidant Therapy that protects more than just the liver. Try and purchase the Methylselnocysteine form of Selenium. This form of Selenium will add a further two antioxidants to the mix -- methylation and cysteine -- adding the little-known methyl group for important methylation -- also essential for the body and particularly for the brain in terms of energy and anti-oxidant protection. The cysteine portion also is a building block in the formation of Glutathione -- another useful anti-oxidant which helps to neutralize toxins and poisons in the liver.

Selenium also functions to improve the action of other anti-oxidants like Vitamins E, C, Glutathione and CoQ10. Taking the above supplements will therefore greatly strengthen your immune system -- and will act on more than just the liver.

To get a much better idea of other problems, perhaps you should also get a hair mineral analysis done. This is fairly cheap and will tell you of any further mineral deficiencies as well as any dangerous excessive levels of fluoride or heavy metals in your body which could also be causing you problems.

I also see that you live in Michigan, up by the Great Lakes. This region is well know for having low iodine in the soil (due to glacier formation in the past leeching out useful minerals and iodine from the soil). This region is well known as being a goiter belt in the past.

The Great Lakes is also an area where a large amount of nuclear waste from the US and Canada is stored (over 31 nuclear waste sites now proliforate in this region) -- and particularly waste from Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactors. There has already been an outcry over this, particularly if the fluoride finds its way into the water supplies and soils of the region. But the US Govt does nothing about it. All the more reason then to supplement with Lugol's for protection against this possible fluoride poisoning in the water supply.

Be Careful With New Supplements!

WARNING!

about a month ago i started an amino acid for low mood and anxiety , suntheanine. it made me feel so calm, just wonderful. i can find no side effects noted on any website, however i believe it made my blood pressure go up.hindsight, i think it's wise to monitor your bp before and after starting any new supplement.because everyone is different. i was taking 100mg of suntheanine in the am and 200mg with 500mg gaba at night to rest better. i started waking up with a dull headache and a sickish feeling which prompted me to check my bp. usually 110/60 it was 136/86.i thought it was going to be too low! i stopped the suntheanine and gaba but my pressure still stayed up. today i took 2 doses of acv (2 tbsp with the sediment in it in water) and i started feeling like my old self my bp was 123/69 so i know i'm on the right track. it was reported on the mayo site that often prescription antidepressants cause the bp to go up and the cause is unknown. i figure maybe its the same with natural supplements too, just depends on the person.since i quit the suntheanine and gaba i don't wake up with a hangover feeling. my bp went up a couple of years ago when i took rhodiola and i stopped it

Vera, You do sound healthy. And no, I am not trying to make it sound like there is something wrong you.

But I am also 73, and if I were you, and if I had your blood pressure, I would look into the possibility of hypothyroidism, as some day this info might save your life.

FYI, the greatest book on this subject is titled "Solved, The Riddle of Heart Attacks", Copyright 1976 by Broda O.Barnes, MD., published by Robinson Press Inc., Fort Collins, Colorado 80522.

I hope this will help.

I had sciatica and my blood pressure was also elevated. I'm 38 and pretty healthy. I noticed my blood pressure was 125/80 which is pre-hypertension. I read potassium and calcium deficiency could be the cause. I started drinking coconut water daily and one day a week, I drink apple cider vinegar water. I went to the doctor today and my blood pressure was 119/80. My diet of meat and vegetables and carbs was the same. I got the happy belly brand.

Potassium
Posted by Tom 70 (Auckland, New Zealand) on 09/13/2023

Hi Joan,

Potassium chloride and sodium bicarbonate won't react to give you potassium bicarbonate.

I buy food grade potassium bicarbonate from a local source "The Sourcery" which is much cheaper than suppliers I find on eBay or Amazon.

The Sourcery - Potassium Bicarbonate

Every morning I mix 8 gm of potassium bicarbonate and 9 gm of vit C powder with more than half cup of water, and drink the whole lot in one go.

9 grams of vitamin C is my "bowel tolerance", to me about 15 minutes after consuming I will have to use the toilet once, and twice at most within the whole morning.

After awhile, Carditone did not work well for my HBP. I was lucky to find a reference to Mukta Vati online. It is an herbal Ayurvedic formula and very strong. It worked for me within a couple of days with BP about 150/100 going down to 120/80. I have been taking half of a half of the recommended dose for several years.

Ivy's Mukta Vati is the stronger product but Divya Mukta Vati, more or less the same herbs, also works for me in larger doses.

Please eat raw garlic early morning, on empty stomach. Just chop 2 pieces of garlic buds and keep it on the cutting board for 2 to 3 minutes and then swallow it with water and you are done. And also take 1" of organic ginger chop it fine and eat it with your food. You can eat it without food too but it's kind of strong for some people. I can eat a little piece in every bite of food, till it's all gone. It's that simple.

I was surprised that you made no mention as to how important Mg+ is in dealing with high blood pressure.

There is much research and information out there as to this health issue of blood pressure. I read one book from 2004 titled, "The Magnesium Solution", by Jay S. Cohen, MD and then discovered just how many books have been published with information on how well magnesium etc. supplements have saved the lives of many. I purchased this small book and was amazed at how informative it was. You may want to delve into the huge amount of literature there is out there concerning the advantages of Mg+ along with K+, Ca+ et al since your site supports nutritionally educating the public.

There is also a site titled, 'MedicationSense.com mentioned in said book as well.

Salt
Posted by Joanna S. (New Orleans) on 09/29/2018

Interesting post, thank you. The few times my blood pressure has skyrocketed to scary levels have been after eating out and never at home. About 5 years ago I had a burrito in a supposedly healthy fast food Mexican restaurant and 30 minutes later my heart was pounding out of chest for the next 24 hours. I never went back but always thought the extra salt must have been the culprit! However, I too eat frozen pizzas at home from time to time and never have issues. So now I'm thinking the restaurant added some additional ingredients besides salt to that crazy burrito like sugar.. their signs said "no MSG ever", so I ruled that out, but who knows...

I just want to clear up that I bought the pizza to see the effect of sodium on my bp. I stay clear of all flour and sugar products. Basically I cook with and eat foods in its natural state using salt as a seasoning. And believe me I enjoy eating. :)

As my blood pressure (Systolic) had usually been about 134, my B.P. suddenly rising to a high of about 174 was surprising. It turns out that for about a month or two, I was snacking a lot on black licorice. On the internet, I inadvertently came across that black licorice can cause high B.P. I immediately stopped eating it, and in a few days my pressure came back down to normal! My internist said that he was aware that black licorice can cause high blood pressure and there should be a warning sign on packages of black licorice. I understand that red licorice is not problematical, in that it doesn't contain a certain acid that is in black licorice.
