We are especially concerned for our senior parent (80 plus) who lives with us. So far they are not showing symptoms. Should we start them on the ivermectin? If so how much and how often?
Any info will be greatly appreciated as headache is interfering with research at the moment.
Thank you all in advance. In good health!

I mixed low sodium V8 Juice (the low sodium is high in potassium and chloride) with juice from a lemon & lime and horseradish and celery seed and Worcestershire Sauce which contains vinegar, molasses, onions, cloves, garlic and chili pepper extract. I alternated that with 8 ounces of hot water mixed with 1/4 teaspoon iodized salt.
I also ate small pieces of raw garlic. I also took a nasal spray that contains sodium chloride. I rinsed my mouth with hydrogen peroxide mixed with water in a 50-50 combination per bottle instructions. I rubbed hydrogen peroxide on my face and hands. I don't have food grade hydrogen peroxide. After an hour my severe symptoms subsided. I continued to take small bites of the raw garlic every couple of hours and took sips of the salt water the rest of the day. I also ate pineapple which is high in enzymes and had chicken soup made with brown rice, salt and chicken bone broth. The bones had been simmered in water with a dash of vinegar for 6 hours.
I relayed this information to my husband's aunt. I was able to perform day to day duties on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. My only subsequent symptoms are a sporadic cough. My husband's aunt was in the hospital on Tuesday. On Tuesday afternoon the hospital discharged her. She was not allowed to eat or drink anything while in the hospital because they were running tests. The hospital confirmed she has COVID-19. The only treatment she got before leaving the hospital was a shot containing anti-coagulant medicine. Yesterday my husband's aunt had a severe sore throat and was laid up in bed. Her husband was fielding phone calls to let her rest.
Recent evidence in COVID-19 biology indicates there is significant reproduction of the virus in the nose and throat during the first five days of symptoms.
I have a glass of orange juice in the morning as part of my daily routine for Vitamin C, calcium and vitamin D. I take a vitamin D supplement and calcium carbonate supplement for my osteopenia. I take a pre-natal vitamin for vitamins and minerals and extra methylfolate. I am 60 years old. Going forward while the pandemic rages on I am going to switch back to white towels and white sheets washed in detergent and a small amount of bleach since bleach kills COVID-19 in 5 minutes. I bought a mold and mildew cleaner for the bathroom that contains sodium hypochlorite. I am washing my masks every 3 days. I am going to keep hydrated with spring water. I use iodized salt and sea salt while cooking. I have wild oregano herbs and oil of wild oregano in my arsenal if needed.
According to Doug Kaufmann from Know the Cause, chlorophyll in greens (spinach, broccoli, romaine lettuce, kale, etc.) is one of nature's great “detoxifiers”, anti-fungals and anti-mycotics. Fiber (eg. vegetables, oatmeal, ground flax seed) binds up toxins and eliminates them from the body.
I am going to try to get 50 grams of protein every day which is the RDA for some-one my height 5'11". I am going to get protein, fats, carbs, fiber, vitamins and minerals from food like salmon, cod, chicken, grass fed beef, chicken liver, turkey, eggs, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, peanut butter, walnuts, spinach, kale, raw almonds, yams, broccoli, beans, carrots, kiwis, oranges, grapefruits, chick peas, parmesan cheese, dried parsley, dried oregano, basil and cilantro. I eat fortified raisin bran cereal with half a sliced banana and 2% milk occasionally. I have a cappuccino every morning with 1/2 cup milk blended on high in the blender for 10 seconds and then heated with a tablespoon of coffee. I am going to look into the food grade hydrogen peroxide.
I don't know what the outcome will be for my husband's aunt. She is ten years older than me and is suffering greatly. She is limited to what she can take because of severe acid reflex. I have a 77 year old friend that had COVID-19 in February. He was in and out of the hospital over the course of 14 days. He received oxygen and a blood transfusion and a strong antibiotic while in the hospital and went home with an oxygen tank. It took him several months to recover. He uses a vaporizer with mineral salts every day.
Thank you Earth Clinic for getting vital information out to those struggling with disease. Wishing you and yours a happy and healthy holiday season!

In Africa, indigenous people take HCQ once a week, calling it 'Sunday, Sunday' as it keeps malaria at bay. I'm allergic to erythromycin but I was told I can take another antibiotic. The antibiotic is only to be used upon feeling a heavy pressure on the lungs as in have pneumonia. I asked if I could take the Ivermectin paste for animals and was told it was not advisable as it's not measured properly. (the Ivermectin paste made by Durvet, apple flavored, came highly recommended by several friends that have used it for over a year with successfully not contracting COVID19; cost is 5.99-10.99, depending where you purchase, (it's made for animals).
I hope this helps.

If you have the paste formulation, measure out your dose and ingest it, maybe mix it with applesauce or yogurt. I get the oil one that you put drops on the skin and it penetrates, kind of like the flea medicine you put between the shoulders of your housepet. I get this for my chickens to kill mites or lice, son in law uses the exact same thing for his beef cattle, it's called 'pour-on' because you can actually pour the dose on the cow. (like 1/4 c for a 1000 lb steer).
Read the instructions that came with it, calculate the 'per pound' dose for your weight and down the hatch. It is fairly safe, so a bit of an overdose isn't too bad. (For an 8 lb hen, the dose is like 5 drops. I've read where someone put 50 instead of 5 and the hen was fine). The only warning I would give is that if you decide to take it, do the math carefully to get as close to the proper dose as you can and then don't stress over it. If you are not good at math, get help.

★★★★★
Generally, prevention seems better than trying to treat the virus after you already have it, at least to me it does. I would rather not get covid in the first place than have to treat it after I have it. One problem with SARS CoV-2 virus is that it seems to mutate or form variants very often which can render the vaccines useless or minimally effective.
Yesterday I was looking at several studies trying to figure something out regarding Lysine and Benfotiamine when I came across an interesting study discussing Lysine and SARS CoV-2 virus. The study seems to add confirmation to the idea that Lysine may be useful against the virus and even possibly have prophylactic or preventative effects.
Here is a link to the study :
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8310019
Here is an important and very relevant quote from the study :
>>> ' Among 30 medical professionals with daily face-to-face exposure to COVID-19 patients, all remain negative of the virus after taking 2000 mg lysine daily with required dietary restrictions (no caffeine, marijuana and arginine-rich foods) for 3 months, as compared to an average of two employees being infected every month prior to the study and to a public health department with similar capacity as their control group [39]. Our study validates that lysine has protective effects against SARS-CoV-2 and IAV infection. Thus, lysine supplementation may be considered as prophylaxis and therapeutic tool against these viruses. ' <<<
The question that is burning in my mind right now is why didn't I hear about this on the evening news 8 months ago when the study was released and why aren't scientists following through with more research to confirm that this works for more than the medical personnel who were studied in the original test of Lysine.
Scientists don't actually have a "real preventative". This is proven every day because so many people have gotten Covid-19 despite being "fully vaccinated". Even then, it is clearly better to never get Covid-19 in the first place, but scientists are going to ignore what these researchers have shown.
Lysine is inexpensive, readily available over the counter and has a very good safety profile, and has shown potential effectiveness against SARS CoV-2 as a "PREVENTATIVE". Two more studies could confirm its effectiveness in 6 to 8 months' time. What's not to like? I guess there just isn't enough money to be made with Lysine! What other excuse could there possibly be?

I was speaking with an old farmer (he is in his 70's) here in Kentucky who raises cattle and horses. We were talking about using ivermecin intended for animals for humans with covid19. He told me to store the horse paste in the refrigerator (NOT the FREEZER). This will keep the medicine fresh for years past their expiration date. He said he has de-wormer in his refrigerator that expired 5 years ago and is still good for use today.
The ivermectin without any other additives that is most desired for comsuming by humans is Duvet Apple Flavored Ivermectin 1.87% Horse Wormer Paste sold at Tractor Supplys. It comes in a yellow and white box with red lettering.

Amazon sells a quality mullein leaf from Frontier.
If you make a tea or infusion, be sure to strain with a coffee filter before drinking as mullein has hairs that can be irritating.
You can also use that mullein leaf to make your own mullein oil. We use that for ear infections, too! (Ideally you make mullein oil with the flower of the mullein plant but that is tricky! ) The roots of the mullein plant made into a tincture or a salve are useful for pain, especially nerve pain.

- NAC is also a good antioxidant,
- that it can prevent cytokine storm & inflammation,
- additionally, it also can break down the clots or prevent them from forming which is the biggest danger of covid19.
- NAC replenishes glutathione stores and helps reduce the viral load.
- high dose IV NAC is also reported to have had good results for seriously ill patients.
so I feel, NAC must be included as standard of care for covid patients along with vit c, d3, zinc & b complex supplements etc.

Thank you for your post. My mother has COVID and I gave her some Manuka Honey. She had been extremely nauseous and vomiting. She did have to get fluids at the hospital and they gave her an anti-nausea med that she took once. However, she started on the Manuka Honey just before getting the fluids and the med. The fluids and med did help very much. However, she kept taking the honey and has not needed the medicine that was prescribed. She thinks the honey is helping her. She said it made her feel relaxed and helped her sleep. I thought that was odd. I gave it to her mainly based on posts that said honey helped with nausea/vomiting and for the anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties of Manuka Honey. Your post also encouraged me as well. All I know is that she seems to be improving each day and she is really just using the honey.

Cayenne pills come in 350mg up to 500 mg depending on who you buy them from. You will need to take them with food if you have a weak stomach. Or, you can simply mix 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder in a cup of warm milk. The reason you are using milk is because dairy products are known to "take the heat out of hot peppers". Making it easier to consume. That's why they give you sour cream at the Mexican resturant with your meal.
If you decide to use pills, do NOT buy them from walmart "Spring Valley" brand. I bought some and they had a yellow powder in them. I cracked one open to taste the powder and NO HEAT. I don't know what they were but it wasn't cayenne pepper. Found out later that Spring Valley is a Chinese owned company so there you go.
Also, you may want to look into making garlic salve or oil to apply to your son chest for congestion. This is a favorite used by the Amish/Mennonite communities. I wrote the instructions on how to make Garlic Salve in EC Pneumonia section here:

What is ‘Burnt Sugar'? First thing to know - it isn't burnt. It is sugar that has been cooked until it turns dark amber. Think dark peanut brittle color.
‘Burnt Sugar' is an old home remedy used for dry coughs. It is known to make a dry cough convert to a wet cough. Dry cough happens when the membranes of the throat or lungs are irritated. The irritation causes a cough. A wet cough is a cough that moves phlegm from the throat or lungs. (Phlegm is the mucus that you cough up with a bad cold.)
So why would ‘burnt sugar' work for Covid?
Covid hits the mucous membranes fast and furious. Those that are very susceptible to Covid all have one thing in common…a compromised mucous layer on the mucous membranes (lungs and throat). (Research each at risk group and you will find this is true.) For a virus to replicate, it must connect with its cell of choice in the body. This virus goes for lung cells. The theory is that when ‘burnt sugar' makes a dry cough turn into a wet cough, it creates enough of a layer that the virus has a hard time getting to the previously easy to get to lung cells. Two things are important here. One, if the virus can't get to the lung cell to replicate, the viral load on the body is then reduced significantly. Second, if the virus can't get to the lung cell it can't destroy that lung cell. The purpose of this remedy is to not let the virus get a hold in the body. Also, if the virus already has a hold and is replicating, then the purpose is to reduce and stop the replicating by removing its ability to attach and damage.
Caution: If your body can not handle sugar in your diet and/or if you have problems with expelling phlegm with a cough, this remedy is not recommended. Also, kids under two years old may have problems expelling phlegm on their own; therefore, this remedy is not recommended.
Note: Since the purpose is to create a layer across the membranes of the lung, anything that removes that layer would be counterproductive. Lemon water and ACV tonics come to mind as possibly counterproductive as they are used to clear the lungs of mucus.
Caution: When making ‘burnt sugar', use caution so as to not burn yourself with either the hot sugar or the flame. Not recommended for young children to make ‘burnt sugar'.
‘Burnt sugar' syrup
- Utensil for stirring, long handled, able to handle high heat (purpose is safe stirring while alcohol/sugar mixture is on fire)
- Long handled fire starter such as a grill butane lighter or long handled fireplace match (purpose is safe lighting of alcohol/sugar mixture)
- Stove with hood or an outdoor grill in open space (purpose is a stable flat cooking surface, safe handling of high flame)
- Glass pie plate (leave glass pie plate in place until syrup has cooled, heated glass can break spilling hot syrup)
- 8 Tablespoons refined granulated cane sugar (white sugar)
- 8 Tablespoons whiskey or vodka (purpose is to liquify the sugar and brown it; also the residual alcohol keeps the ‘burnt sugar' liquid instead of hardening)
The alcohol will flame high when lit! Keep face and hair away from pie plate. Place glass plate on stove or grill. If using indoor stove, turn on hood. Add sugar and alcohol to pie plate. Mix. While stirring, light the alcohol/sugar mixture. Continue stirring until flame disappears. Repeat lighting/stirring until the mixture will no longer light. Let cool. If outdoors, cover with clean grill lid while syrup cools. Pour cooled syrup into glass jar. Store in refrigerator. Discard after 5-7 days. Caution: this has a residual amount of alcohol. If this is a problem for your situation, do not use ‘burnt sugar' in this form.
Usage: Take a spoonful as needed. As a cough syrup, take a spoonful every few hours. If possible, take a spoonful at the first sign of lungs feeling attacked. Also, if going shopping, take a spoonful before leaving the house. Remember, the goal if possible is to stop the virus getting a hold in the body.
There are many variations of ‘burnt sugar' recipes found on the internet. ‘Burnt sugar' drops and ‘burnt sugar' lollipops. Some add flavorings. Some add medicinals. Again, try not to use any addition that may be counterproductive. Also, some use water/milk to make cough syrup or to make hot drinks. Know that the ‘burnt sugar' will not be as strong with additions; the end product will be diluted with that additional liquid.
‘Burnt sugar' drops are usually made over direct flame and heated until the sugar turns dark amber. ‘Burnt sugar' is not burnt. Do not burn the sugar. If actually burnt, do not consume.
‘Burnt sugar' uses refined granulated cane sugar (white sugar). What about unrefined cane sugar? For the syrup, unrefined cane sugar should work. For the drops and lollipops, the closer the type of sugar is to refined, the better the process of hardening works. Other types of sweeteners or sugar substitutes are not recommended.

Dr. Reuben Swartz (Amish/Mennonite Doctor) here in Western Kentucky has been telling people with Covid lungs to pepper their chest, back and neck with straight Tea tree oil. Smear it around to make a light coating on the skin. Ruben himself got covid over a month ago and cured himself using Cajeput oil (cousin to tea tree oil) on the chest/back. Along with herbs like garlic and others internally. He recovered in 3 days and he is in his 80's.
Note: If you have sensitive skin, dilute 1:1 with coconut or olive oil. You do want this formula strong.
One massive study that tested 45 oils against a variety of bacteria, fungi, and viruses found tea tree and cinnamon bark oils to be by far the most effective against bacteria.
Another research team then tested the antiviral effects of tea tree oil against the flu virus, which is also responsible for bronchitis, discovered that it could inhibit the virus to a significant degree. It is also a strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant that can relieve inflammation and prevent your bronchial cells from being unnecessarily damaged.

If you are sick, see your doctor. This is one person's opinion and is not suggested as a cure or treatment for anything.
Grapefruit peel tea benefits are quite known for their antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties. The peel is known for packing large amounts of antioxidants that may help strengthen the body's resistance to damaging foreign organisms. The grapefruit peel, particularly the white portion under the rind, is said to be very high in antioxidant bioflavoroids that may help strengthen the immune system.
Making a tea of grapefruit peel is great for getting rid of mucus and opening up the lungs. Grapefruit peel tea may help break up mucus, clear the respiratory tract, and may help fight against certain respiratory ailments like pneumonia. Grapefruit peel tea makes quinine and is said to treat cv-19. How to make:
Here is all you need to do, take the rind of 2 – 3 grapefruits, use the peel only and cover it with water about 3 inches above the peels. Put a glass or metal lid on your pot. Let it simmer for about 2 hours. Do NOT take the lid off of the pot til it has cooled completely as this will allow the Quininie and bioflavoroids to escape in the steam.
The taste of the grapefruit peel tea is quite bitter so it is permissible to add some honey to sweeten the taste.
Dosage: Take one tablespoon every few hours to bring out phlegm for the lungs. Do this til you are completely better.
If you take Zinc, it will help to propel the quinine into your cells to speed healing.

I was at the dr yesterday for a covid test (to calm daughter for Christmas gathering) and overheard the pharma rep talking to the doc. He said they did a study of Ivermectin in covid patients. 200 hospitalized patients in each category, mild/moderate/severe Covid. 100 in each group got ivermectin, the others placebo.
Of those receiving ivermectin, 1 in the severe group got worse, 2 in the severe group showed no change, ALL the rest showed dramatic improvement. Just another nugget of info for you to consider. Also, I asked the doc about people who come back to work after quarantining with covid. He said, yes, they will shed dead virus that can infect you and, yes, you can get it through your eyes (any moist membrane). So, bear that in mind, too.

I tried raw garlic, ACV for sinusitis which helped, liposomal vitamin C, magnesium chloride, supplementation with vitamin D, zinc, selenium... and some essential oils. They helped a bit. But nothing removed this burning sensation.
Then I got this intuition to try spirulina. Actually, I had it for the third time. But this time I took some. And, the burning feeling went away within an hour. I still had high fevers that I reduced with paracetamol (500 mg) every 6 hours, but I was able to get out of bed for the first time.
I have done some research since, and I found this :
https://www.news-medical.net/news/20220325/Algae-found-to-inhibit-SARS-CoV-2-infection-in-vitro.aspx
and
confirming that there could be scientific ground to what I had experienced.
I went to buy chlorella. I took both at night and this morning. I am still weak, but nothing like I was before taking spirulina.
I'm still using vitamin C and vitamin & mineral supplements and dropped everything else as they upset my stomach too much.
One last thing, I noticed I needed to drink a lot of water and stay hydrated all the time or my symptoms would get worse.
I didn't see spirulina or chlorella mentioned here, so I decided to share my story. I hope it helps you or someone you love.

This new study (March 2022) shows that Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine were ineffective for treating patients admitted to the hospital for Covid-19.
https://www.mdpi.com/2036-7449/14/2/20/htm
Here is a relevant quote from the study :
>>> ' In non-critical hospitalized patients with COVID-19 pneumonia, neither ivermectin nor hydroxychloroquine decreases the number of in-hospital days, respiratory deterioration, or deaths. ' <<<
I know this will be disappointing information for those who believe that Ivermectin is effective for treating Covid-19 and this one study may not be enough to convince you, but there is another study that will likely be released in April that used Ivermectin in 1,358 adult patients that were tested positive for SARS- Cov-2 and this study also had very similar results. I will post that study as soon as it is released.
Here is a quote from the study:
>>> ' In each scenario, they found that Ivermectin did not improve patient outcomes. ' <<<
If you still believe Ivermectin to be effective for Covid-19 and it is your plan to use it if you get infected with Covid-19, I think it would be a reasonable idea to use it alongside other remedies that have also been suggested as remedies for Covid-19, rather than as a stand-alone treatment.
