Using 1/2 teaspoon borax + 1/4 teaspoon sea salt in 8 oz filtered h2o, in neti pot for each nostril, twice daily, for chronic sinus issues (presumably mold triggered) which have plagued me for 5 years, and it's amazing after 1 month have recovered severely compromised olfactory function: I can smell w/80% efficiency, compared with say 10% previously. The borax really works well in neti pots!

Yes… you can put boric acid in a nasal spray bottle. Be sure to adjust dilution ratio.
In the pre-antibiotic era (before 1940) borid acid derived from boron, both were front line defense against microb's. Possessing antibiotic properties against both fungal and bacterial infections.
A good book to read that is free on google books is “Borax the Magic Crystal 1915”. It will teach you how our Grandparents used boron.

Hi
Can I put that in a spray bottle and administer it like that instead of a neti pot?

For sinus infections, do you use eight oz of the mixture in each nostril twice a day? So, 16 oz total twice a day? Thank you!
