Nasal Lugol's Iodine Rinse for Protection Against COVID-19

Hi, can Bill Thompson's Lugol's Nasal Rinse be used for children? I was thinking of a few drops in each nostril rather than a full dropper? Thank you

You can add Lugo's Iodine to coconut oil then use it in your nostril. Also you can use vick's vapour rub and do the same. Hope this helps.

Hi Sharon, I have used 15% Lugol's Iodine and I normally have ten drops in a glass of milk and drink it but if you are not used to it, just take less drops. I know that Lugol's Iodine kills viruses on contact, and at one time it used to be in natural cow's milk, I have no problems by drinking this strong supplement but I have no medical background so the advice given here is from my own personal use and you can not supplement every day unless you take much less like 3 drops per Glass of milk..

Follow the post from Bill for the nasal spray mixture. You can use it neat but it burns soooo bad it will scare you. I put one drop in my ear and had to make myself go to sleep. When I woke in the morning no more infection or pain. God bless.

Bill, I tried the water mix nasal spray but it does not disperse - atomize like I thought it would, just a flush of liquid. My question do you know if I use a nasal saline solution instead of water, will it have the same effect in killing any virus - bacteria ? Do you of any saline or something similar that could be inhaled-sprayed in to the lungs instead of water?

I did a conversion check and one shot glass is equal to one ounce of water just to let you know. I don`t drink so have no idea of the subject of shot glasses but did not think to look it up at first, it might save somebody else some time and trouble though.

@Bill, Thanks very much for this remedy. I used it before running errands on Friday. I also wore a mask of course. Burned a tiny bit after I snorted the mixture to the back, but not too bad. Definitely went down my throat. I love having the extra protection when I am out and about... and then when I get home. I caught myself touching my nose as soon as I walked in the front door before I had washed my hands. Eeeeks!! Good to know it lasts approx 2 hours. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.

Thank you, Bill, for your information on Lugol's and the coronavirus. It's very much appreciated. While I take it orally (sometimes) and topically for wounds, I never thought of using it nasally. Another good defense against what's out there! Take care.

Bill, I need some advice about the iodine mixing in a spray bottle I have. Using the 2% solution, how do I mix for use in the following spray bottle. Basic Care Nasal Moisurizer Saline nasal spray 3 FL (88 ML) I need to know the exact mixing of iodine drops @2% & water by weight 3oz = (88 M ), (I`m new at this so please be patient ). For use with a nebulizer @ 2% idione, how long per treatment session?

Hi Yohanan, I'm Zal from Israel too. Here is my protocol for any imaginable virus. I don't know if I ever was infected. Maybe I was, and some days I felt like I did. So at the first imaginable slight sign of coming flu, or sneezing..or whatever, I immediately did the following. I actually do that since yrs before CV19. I warm up water (mineral) almost to the boiling point. But before that, I put in a large glass (IKEA big glass cup) a half tsp of coconut oil, half tsp turmeric, quarter tsp cayenne, 1/8th tsp cinnamon, and a little black pepper. Pour hot water, about 3/4 of the glass. Stir well for a minute, cover. Wait about 20 minutes (I go for a walk with our dog). Then put in a large spoon of raw honey(I use eucalyptus honey). Stir until dissolved. Then the very Last thing you put in is Oil of OREGANO, 3-5 drops. I guarantee you it will kill even ebola! I do all that when I up at around 4 AM, and go outside at 4:30 am. When I'm back I drink the mix. I was also taking 4-6 oregano drops with a little water and followed with raw Honey, when coming back from shopping. I also used Colloidal Silver, 1 tsp 2-3 times a day. Turmeric we use with every food. But we're vegans/vegetarians. The mix I keep drinking today too, after CV19 is successfully contained in Israel in quite a short time.

A survivor of the Avian flu in 2007, I have been actively investigating various modalities to get rid of any type of flu, regardless of the strain. As it turns out, there was a universal medicine used over 110+ years ago that did just that: it completely destroyed all bacteria, viruses, and even fungus. I speak with experience; I can now get rid of the flu of any strain within a half hour. Doctors are aware of the antiseptic properties of iodine, as they use it before operating on surgery patients. However, it is not promoted to the public as a general remedy.
Various Other Remedies for Influenza (the Grippe)

Over the years, I have experimented with various other remedies for the flu, all of which only diminished the misery and the length of the flu infection, but none of which could stop the flu in its tracks.

Here are the various remedies I tried:

1. Vitamin C, 2 grams orally

2. Elderberry, said to be the only herb to be effective against viruses according to research

3. Vitamin D3 or lots of sunlight

4. Honey, Lemon, and Apple Cider Vinegar

5. Ozone

6. Hydrogen Peroxide sprayed into the throat

7. Oregano oil, one drop under the tongue

8. Colloidal silver, 10 ppm, a tablespoon at a time

Simply put, iodine kills viruses on contact. Unlike some modalities, iodine in the correct form can even be taken orally. Never take drugstore iodine, as it is clearly marked “FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY”. The reason for this is because drugstore iodine contains toxic isopropyl alcohol, NOT because iodine is toxic. Iodine had been safely used internally for decades before the medical mafia took over in 1911. Some think that colloidal silver is the universal medicine, and indeed, it is a superior antibacterial (antibiotics are antibacterial). However, it only weakly suppresses viruses, and cannot kill them. I know personally as I once offered an antiviral nose spray based upon colloidal silver. The colloidal silver kept the viral situation in my nose from getting worse, but could not get rid of the viruses. Only iodine can do that, as iodine is antiviral as well, whereas colloidal silver is only weakly anti-viral. Of course the concentration of the iodine used is important, and the Povidine iodine in drugstores is only 1% and is essentially useless. To kill viruses in the nose, a 2-3% concentration of iodine is needed. To kill skin fungus, aka cancer, you need a 7% iodine concentration, as proven by Dr. Tulio Simoncini of Italy, a former oncologist.

Dr. David Brownstein writes:“So effective is iodine that aerosols can be effective in sterilizing a room at levels not even detectable by humans.”

Dr. Marc Sircus writes: “I have suggested that people put iodine into a nebulizer for aerosol treatment for transdermal effect into the lung tissues in the case of lung cancer, emphysema, asthma, and tuberculosis.” To which I would add viruses of any type, including mutated viruses and corona COVID-19.

Ways to Apply Iodine to Kill Coronavirus (COVID19) or Any Other Virus

The highly contagious Coronavirus can enter the body through the nose, mouth, eyes, and ears. Yes, even the ears can receive viruses. Taking iodine in the form of Lugol's iodine internally is a good first step, but one must start with a small dosage and work up to larger doses over a period of weeks to avoid severe itching, especially in people over 50.
Lugol's iodine is elemental iodine mixed with potassium iodide to make it soluble in distilled water, and was discovered by Dr. Lugol in France in 1829. It is the best and safest form of iodine, in my opinion.

Iodine taken Internally

Standard Lugol's iodine contains 6.2 mg per drop, where 100 drops equals 1 level teaspoon. This is the European standard drop. The American drop is defined to be 70 drops per level teaspoon. Iodine doctors suggest a daily dose of around 2 drops daily for optimum health. For cancer patients, the dosage can go up to 300 mg every other day, called pulsed dosing. Iodine, besides being essential for the brain and thyroid, is also utilized by several other organs in the body, including the skin. Taking iodine only internally will not make one immune from a direct viral attack, however.

Gargling with Iodine

Putting roughly 10 drops of Lugol's iodine into 50 ml of water and gargling with it will instantly get rid of coughing, meaning coughing is completely gone within a half hour. I offer two concentrations of Lugol's iodine. Hormone Catalyst is Lugol's iodine at 6.2 mg/drop, and External Tumor Remover is Strong Lugol's iodine (without alcohol) at 8.7 mg/drop.

Using Iodine Nose Drops

Carrying a nasal sprayer with you is convenient when you are not at home, as you can kill viruses that enter your nasal passages instantly with diluted iodine. Using Iodine in a Nebulizer
