Wow, I am so glad I found your site as my body is desperate for a natural cure! I have been on proton pump inhibitors for over a year and still have acid with reflux. I have just started my own research for an alternative to drug therapy. I have not got a pH tester as yet but the baking soda has made a difference. I am concerned that I do not have enough stomach acid to digest my food though??? Help! Thanx.

So in gut fermentation and acidosis, when everything one eats just ferments and creates lots of poisons, one should take dose of 1 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate mixed in 250ml of water and another dose 30 minutes after meals?
If so, for how many weeks, months should one follow this protocol?
What other things could be done to correct this horrible situation?
