You can also make it at home. Take some milk from coconut and boil it under high temperature. Keep boiling until all the milk evaporaes. Squeeze the white substance that is left and you will get pure coconut oil. Please try, this oil treatment it really works. Those of you who are suffering from herpes virus, please use coconut oil in the affected area. Just keep rubbing coconut oil daily even when you don't have any symptoms. You don't have to spend so much money on expensive tablets. Coconut oil is easily availabe in Indian shops. Take care.

I used the apple cider vinegar on the lesions on my genital and it burned a lot for 5 minutes and then it didn't itch for hours. It was great! But it didn't diminish the size of the lesions.
Then I applied coconut oil and 6 hours later it was itching again :( But when I looked at the lesions, they were smaller! I applied 2 more times and it seems to be working so far.
I am also taking 3 tablespoons of coconut oil a day, after reading a guy's post about eating coconut oil 3x a day and being free of outbreaks.
This is Merryanne in Central FL, , , I would like you to read all the information in our files here on Lysin, L-Lysine, it will kill viruses' you would need to take it at 2,000 mg in each dose at least 4 times a day for a while, , I do not know of anyone that has used it for herpes, but I know it cured me of a very bad virle flu last Christmas, and I thought I was dying and it was cured in 3 days, not even a sniffle left in 3 days. It does kill virel infections.

UPDATE: the coconut oil no longer worked after a while. It was a relief from itching but did nothing to lesions. I had to apply colloidal silver on them.

Maryland, you don't need to take coconut oil by mouth. It's the Lauric Acid in it that works against viruses ie Herpes. Monolaurin is a dry product from coconut oil that is made of the Lauric Acid. I order my monolaurin from Lauricidin. Google it.
I took 3 tablespoons a day of coconut oil for over a month - since I hate coconut, I quit.
I saw great results when I applied coconut oil on the lesions - they would heal quickly, in less than 3 days. Sadly it didn't last long and by my third outbreak, the coconut oil had no effect on the lesions.

I eat coconut oil every day and gag each time I swallow it because it's hard to swallow oil but you can use it in your cooking, put it in a smoothy.... There are so many other ways to ingest it other than eating it straight from the spoon. Coconut oil has so many other healing properties.... Helps with metabolism, insulin, digestion... I use it on my skin and in my hair. You have to make sure you by the unrefined pure organic virgin coconut oil otherwise it won't work. :)

Thanks for the information. I had been consuming coconut oil to thwart outbreaks then decided to try mms for other reasons. In researching mms, I learned some have had success keeping hsv2 at bay. Yesterday that proved to be true. I had the sensation that the virus was active although I had no sores. I did take a few different things.. Olive leaf extract, a heaping tbs of extra virgin coconut oil internally (in addition to cooking with it) and evco externally (just in case). The sensation had subsided, but a distinct pain I get on my right side which can vary from hip to foot remained. I was on the verge of taking a pain killer but decided to take mms instead. Within a few hours the pain was completely gone. This morning no sensation remained. I chalk it up to a combination of both coconut oil and mms, but really it can be either or.

Hi Chris, the symptoms have drastically reduced. So, I am now on the p73 oregano oil 3 times a day and coconut oil 3 times a day - a 20ml tablespoon. I've stopped taking as much vitamin C. Wasn't sure how long to take such high doses. I got to 24g a day. May try that again. I'm hoping that I'll have good news at 6 months of trying which will be April. I have days on end where it's like I don't have anything wrong. But then something triggers the mildest of tingles to remind me. Will keep you posted.

I used a $30 bottle of colloidal silver from my local pharmacy with great success. I caught herpes from my first partner and it was unfortunately recurrent plus it began to worsen over the past five years. I am amazed at how effective this is. However, I did have a nasal spray bottle full of colloidal silver, so before going to bed, I soaked a cotton makeup remover pad and placed it on the affected area and kept it in place with my underpants. The next morning all symptoms had almost disappeared. During the day I continued to spray the area every time I went to the bathroom and by that evening all symptoms had disappeared.
However, I didn't know if this was just a coincidence and that it was just some other irritation.
But another time, I was travelling again and I had the beginnings of an outbreak. As I didn't have any colloidal silver on me and the shops were closed, it developed into a small open sore. The next morning I found a place where I could buy some and I applied it as above. The next day the sore had almost completely healed. I had never seen an open sore heal so quickly!

Maybe there is not as much colloidal silver in the bottle as they say. Bob Beck (you can google him) said that someone who was selling colloidal silver actually had very little colloidal silver in the bottle.. much less than advertised).
Much easier to buy your own colloidal silver generator, or make one. I intend to do just that.

I took colloidal silver 30ppm on and off for 3 months. I bought it at Whole Foods. Sometimes I would take 2 tablespoons a day (morning and night) and for about 2 weeks I took 4 tablespoons a day.
I was having outbreaks every 2 weeks and the itching and the lesions were a nightmare. As soon as I started taking the colloidal silver a big outbreak came, like if the virus was trying to fight against the CS.
Even though I took CS, I still had outbreaks every 2 weeks but I noticed that they would end in about 3 days and the lesions were tiny; they looked like blisters and were not painfull. If I applied the colloidal silver directly on the lesions they disappeared in a day or less (I would keep a cotton ball soaked with CS on it overnight).

I heard colloidal silver can cure herpes 2. So I took 500 ppm cs for 6 months. I got retested and nothing had worked. BUT I just found out that the lower the # ppm, the more coverage it has. Should I try possibly 45ppm or something smaller? I really want this to go away 4ever. I could really use some advice please... thank you.

Your information about colloidal silver is incorrect. Too low of a dose will have no positive effect and is likely to create bacterial resistance to the silver.

When I was taking Vitamin supplements and L-lysin the ob's definitely came les frequently, but unfortuntaley they didn´t vanish and I also didn´t want to take so many tbls all the time because it was expensive and anoying.
After giving colloidal silver a go I kept researching and came across a cream containing silver.
I work at a hospital and silver coated dressings are regularly used on infected wounds and they work a treat. Because the colloidal silver particles in the one that I was taking weren't small enough, it didn't have any effect on me, but I know silver definitely is virucidal.
When I had an ob in the morning I immeditaley put on the cream and the same night the sore had completely vanished!!!! It was amazing.
I didn't want anything complicated that I had to put on several times a day over a few days, because I simply don't have time for that. So, this was a fantastic fix.
This didn't rid me of my gh problem though and the ob's kept coming, so I decided to try DMSO and 3% hydrogen peroxide applied to my lower spine right down to the of the spine between the butt cheeks. I wrapped it with cling wrap and left it for an hour.
This was several weeks ago and I have to say I have not used the silver cream since, because I have not had a single ob since then.
I will give some more time and will then get a blood test to see if the virus is still tracable in my blood. If you want to try the cream, it is silvadene or silver sulfadiazine creme 1% (used for topical burns).

I also used colloidal silver on my genital to decrease the size of a little lesion that felt like a pimple. I put colloidal silver on a cotton ball and kept on the area the whole night. In the morning, the lesion had disappeared completely! I used colloidal silver several times a day on my genital when itched (without the aid of the ice) and also worked wonders.
Those are treatments that work right away to avoid breakouts. Once you have a breakout, the ice won't work, but the colloidal silver will speed the healing process.
