Very interested in what Shar from BC writes about lungs heating up (I also have this) and nebulizing. Am experimenting with H2O2 right now using mist spray in mouth but it's not doing the job - feel I need nebulizer to reverse it. Have lots of itching on chest and sometimes in head - ears feel a pressure from time to time- times fatigued - feel stuff is surfacing out of lung. Guess I would call this a chronic sinus/Lung infection. Andrea from Wales, can you also suggest how to proceed carefully - should I use 1 1/2% food grade. I am 73 and very sensitive to things, but want to take care of this without going to MD. Any tips or help will be immensely appreciated. My immense gratitude for this site and all the good people willing to share their expertise. Dee

Hydrogen Peroxide inhalation for COPD

Hello, My name is Maggie and I live in Massachusetts. I am writing because I finally decided to take a chance on inhaling hydrogen peroxide for my COPD. I have been sick every Winter since I was 26 (16 years). I have tried diet change, steroids, antibiotics, supplements (with some success) and every other alternative offered to me. I have used your website for other ailments, but thought this was a little crazy. However, I have been using this method for 3 weeks and have NEVER felt this good in the Winter. I have also stopped using my rescue inhaler (down from 6-7 times a day) and am not taking any medications. I will be personally sending an email to Bill Munro, who is now my hero. Just when I finally began to accept that I was going to be another statistic (surviving as many Winters as I could handle until my disease did me in, as it did my father), a miracle falls into my lap! I will do this treatment for the rest of my life and I will recommend it to EVERYONE who ever complains to me of bronchitis, asthma, or any other form of COPD. I would be happy to talk to anyone who has questions or needs to speak to a real person. They can email me any time at [email protected]. Thank you Earth Clinic and thank you Bill Munroe for giving me a chance to live my life, instead of biding my time!!!

Hi - I've just read your post and realise it was written some years ago but would be interested to know if you found long lasting relief from COPD with inhaling H2O2. Please could you give me more details (I know about dilution) but would appreciate more info on how you inhale, how much, how often. Thanking you in anticipation. Nanny B.

Maggie or Nanny, I'm interested in trying the h2o2 inhalation for copd, I have but need to know how to mix it and how often to use. I want to make sure I do it right. Thanks, hope you can get back to me, the humid days are hard to deal with. Thanks, Bob

I have recently been diagnosed with lung cancer small cell. Has anyone tried this peroxide inhalation with lung cancer? Did it help? I have a nebulizer machine or would the sinus pump be better?

hi J.J.

Please research IP-6 for your cancer. It is not expensive, it has no side effects, and many people claim it has cured their cancer. It is Available on Amazon For less than twenty dollars for 240 caps. Books on it to read as well as youtube videos. Good luck, and God Bless.

We have used the inhalation method with the little nasal sprayer and the nebulizer with peroxide. (We dilute it a lot when putting it in the nebulizer.

While it seems like the nebulizer would do a more thorough job of dispersing the particles to the lungs, I am not totally sure it would be a superior method.

First of all, it the pump is much more convenient than the nebulizer, so it would be easier to do it more often. Second of all, we have seen both ways help with lung issues. And this website has a lot more stories of people using the pump method with success. (Not that they tried a nebulizer first, it is just more accessible to most people.)

Maybe you could try both and see if you notice anything different with each method. By the way, when I use hydrogen peroxide in the nebulizer, I use 5 drops of peroxide to 35 drops of distilled water 2-4 times a day or as needed.

We have not used peroxide for cancer, just for other lung issues.

From my very limited research on cancer, it seems some types have been treated with baking soda. I have also read of using a baking soda solution in the nebulizer (not necessarily for cancer.)

Here are some links about baking soda. I am truly amazed at how well baking soda works to help many conditions. My favorite way is the baking soda bath for my children, but I digress. :)

Hi all, This site is great but also drives me crazy as many posts are not specific information for the newer user.

To Mama to Many - you said "By the way, when I use hydrogen peroxide in the nebulizer, I use 5 drops of peroxide to 35 drops of distilled water 2-4 times a day or as needed".

Can you explain what percentage H202 (for the 5 drops) did you use? Was it 3%? Then to that you added 35 drops of distilled water - what is the end H202 solution percentage? If I am reading some of the other entries it seems a 1.5 solution is good for nebulizing? Did your breathing improve and how long did it take?

How many inhalations of the nebulizer do you use each time (I assume it is a nebulizer with a nose/mouth piece). I don't have a nebulizer yet but aim to get a mini one.

Was interested in knowing 1) if the size of particle of the mist matters - should one get the finest particle size nebulizer - if so do you know what particle size would be optimum? and 2) are some nebulizers better than others, eg stronger power?

If I do the PUMP SPRAY method - which I feel would be difficult to get into the lower lung - I would use a 3% H202 directly and not add more distilled water? Is that correct?

I am looking to "cure" COPD!

If using H202 in a neti pot to clear sinuses anyone know if straight 3% H202 is OK (so not diluting in water)

Thanks in advance to any responders with specific answers to my questions. Much appreciated. Ann UK

Dear Anna,

You ask many good clarifying questions.

When I am using 5 drops of peroxide to 35 drops of distilled water, that is 5 drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide to 25 drops of water. I have read of others using 1/2 water and 1/2 3% hydrogen peroxide. You could start with the 5 drops and work up the the stronger solution. I prefer to err on the side of "Use less and increase as desired." So, we end up using 40 drops in the medicine cup and nebulize the entire amount.

We were using it for a cough that came with a cold virus and it did work; but for COPD I think it would take longer than just a few times a day for a few days.

The nebulizer we use is one that is used for asthmatics. I don't know the particle size. And I don't know how nebulizers compare. The one we bought from a pharmacy has worked wonderfully. My dad has had a couple of different ones that work very well.

We have used the nasal sprayer and used 3%. I have also used 1 1/2% in the nasal sprayer. This we have used for Bill Munroe's inhalation method.

In a neti pot, we use a very diluted solution of hydrogen peroxide. "Mix six ounces of warm filtered water with 1/2 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide and 1 teaspoon of sea salt. Even that feels plenty strong in the nasal passages." See more here.

Have you seen a new post about castor oil for COPD? It is a very encouraging story! Here is it.

I hope that helped!

H2o2 mist is great for a bug like pneumonia but for copd although helpful it won't be enough to stop disease progression. I would use h202 in a very fine mist plus I would try nanosilver spray mist as well. Doctors tell their patients copd has neither definite cause nor cure. Alts have proven them wrong on both counts and found the only effective means of clearing the tissue fibrosis from the lungs.

The lungs of a person with copd are filled with biofilm a resevoir for germs and the airspace is slowly filled with fibrin deposits like scar tissue until a person can barely breathe. Mycoplasma infection damages the lungs and the scar tissue reduces air volume slowly suffocating the patient. A doctor would give steroidal antiinflammatories aimed at shutting down the immune system. This only increases the speed the disease progresses as the drugs only help the microorganisms grow faster.

To control the disease you must kill off the infection. Pay careful attention to being on an antiviral diet. No sugar! Do lots of liposomal vitamin c, zinc, eboo extra corporeal blood oxygenation and ozonation would be awesome for recovery. H2o2 mist, colloidal silver mist, uvbi, blood electrification and a really powerful one called gallium nitrate are all good choices for copd. Gallium nitrate attacks mycoplasma and helps shut the disease process down in a hurry but it needs serrapeptase a systemic enzyme to clear the lungs airspace. Serrapeptase will both attack the mycoplasma and it will dissolve the scar tissue that fills the lungs. Without serrapeptase the airspace will remain filled with mucus and fibrin deposits reducing your ability to breathe. Chronic inflammation in the lungs swells the lungs causing a further reduction in air volume as well. Serrapeptase is a very powerful antiinflammatory reducing an over reactive immune response. Its just the ticket for copd.

Now one last thing, another poster recently mentioned castor oil packs for COPD . I know nothing about that one, you might research it out.

Hi Ben,

The info you provided seems worth investigating.

I've been recently diagnosed with emphysema (although a non-smoker) and at present I only suffer from cough and little sputum so I'm desperately trying to get rid of my infection in the hope to stabilise my condition at least.

At the moment I'm in a strict sugar-free diet, plant-based (live food like sprouts, etc) with a few known supplements like NAC, proteolytic enzymes (containing Serrapeptase), beta glucan, Omega-3's.

At the same time I'm nebulising Magnesium Chloride, Nascent Iodine and just started H2O2.

Although some of the therapies you mention like extra corporeal blood oxygenation and ozonation and uvbi sound worth pursuing, I'm not well-off enough to consider them.

>>"Alts have prove them wrong.."

Could you please tell us who is Alts?

I have searched the connection of Gallium nitrate and its application for COPD on line but could not find anything, are there any links you could provide?

Do you know of any COPD patients who had any success with this treatment?

Thanks for posting this,

Hi Ann, I have spent hours on here reading pages upon pages about H202 which I was already aware of and have been for many years, but never tried it. Can I please say to you Ann and anyone at all that lives in the United Kingdom! 35% food grade IS BY LAW IN THE UNITED KINGDOM NOT ALLOWED TO BE SOLD! ANYONE CAUGHT SELLING IT TO PEOPLE LIKE US CAN BE SUED! It was stated no companies was allowed to sell any more than 12 per cent hydrogen peroxide??? Now and I am writing this on the 9th March, 2018, Boots and most of the chemists have been told they cannot no longer sell it! Even 3 per cent ordinary H.P. which can be used as a mouth wash and using on the teeth? Priced at a mere £1.05 has been withdrawn!

So whilst many people are continuously stating on here "USE 35% FOOD GRADE HYDROGEN PEROXIDE? These people are all residing in the USA or other countries? We simply cannot get it in United Kingdom! I think it's a disgrace! Something that is saving so many people's lives, have been stopped purchasing it by the Medical profession, the same as Lobelia, Apricot Kernels, you name it anything that can cure is being taken off the market! In the United Kingdom. You can, Ann of course buy 3 per cent and 6 per cent ordinary Hydrogen peroxide the same sort you could get from Boots Chemist it is in a brown glass bottle with a blue and white label, it will of course cost you now about £3 a little bottle instead of £1.05 well these sellers have to make a profit from our illnesses don't they!! I do believe you can use this ordinary peroxide, hence my reason for reading literally hundreds of messages on here today. I cannot be certain, but it seems many are using the ordinary 3 per cent, and many thanks to Mama to Many! Whom I believe uses the ordinary one. I tried every single company in the United Kingdom including Bobs Store, and each have a notice up on their website, THEY CANNOT SELL ANYTHING OVER 12 PER CENT BY LAW! So whilst I appreciate guys and gals from the United States and other countries, don't you think we would prefer to buy the best thing? 35 per cent Food Grade? We simply cannot get it which is such a shame. So I hope this is of help to anyone from the United Kingdom! I have tried every chemist going and they all said no, they have been ordered not to sell it anymore, having said that I did find a chemist called Nash, and I was over the moon when they sold me 6 bottles 3 per cent only and not Food grade but I grabbed it! Because even when I used to buy 2 or 3 bottles from Boots, I was then told only 1 bottle allowed? And now zilch you cannot buy it, but you can on Amazon or Ebay, I suggest anyone in the United Kingdom stocks up on it, before they stop the sellers selling it!

And yes my son, Paul and I have breathing difficulties, so of course I am searching for something to help us both. Good luck everyone in your search for good health and most of all a cure!

Hi- I live in Costa Rica and have a lung infection which nearly killed me 5 yrs prior- I returned to Florida USA and my lungs cleared up to the point that I no longer fell asleep during a conversation or while stopped at red lights while driving- however I am constantly tired and now ( returned to Costa rica) I am re-infected ( flare up?) I am extremely tired and dizzy- I went to emergency room here and was diagnosed with lung infection and prescribed antibiotics( dont know the name of infection) however after reading this post I want to try adding 3% peroxide to C-Pap machine and I am starting to inhale 3% diluted- to spray bottle. The 1st night I tried inhaling- I couldn't get to sleep ( a very rare thing) so I thought it was working- I am currently inhaling 3% diluted- label says ( in spanish)3 grams hydrogen peroxide and vehiculo csp 100 ml- anyone have experience with adding to C-pap machine and anyone know where to buy more potent peroxide in CR?

Duke- I spend about 7 months a year in CR, I understand how difficult it can be to find what you are looking for. There are a few MacroBiotic retailers in San Jose that may be able to help with Natural Products. Perhaps a better option is 35% food grade H202 is also used for sprouting plants and can be used for swimming pool servicing. If I were you I would check out the viveros there- the plant nurseries. Where abouts do you live in CR? There are many of these viveros through out the country. Something else to consider is mould and the effects on your lungs... I know that it is a constant battle for me to keep the mould at bay where I live because it is humid and close to the ocean. Good Luck!

Definite "yea" still using cvs brand 3% diluted 50-50 only 2whiffs twice a day--lungs have basically cleared out , no more technicoloured cr_p, white to clear, easily "expectorated", small amounts --will continue as a "maintenance" as well--Thank you for this website and the info and to all that participate-!

Lung Issues
Posted by Saoirse (Astoria, Ny, Usa) on 10/25/2010

I just took 2 "whiffs" of the cvs brand 3% HP that was diluted to half strength--I will repeat this at bedtime-
I confess to being a heavy smoker with chronic bronchitis and not maintained on any prescriptives or any inhalors..... Will use garlic/fresh lemon juice or garlic/ACV if I feel the "need" to-when the congestion gets "heavy"/fever, this stuff works to break it up and you will cough it up and out- And am now aware of chronic fatigue type of tiredness and a very deep congestion, esp on the lower on the right side, and wheezing-....... So here I am! And will increase the number of sprays and inhalations and strength of this solution but will continue to use the 3% chain store brand the same as Mr Munro does himself- and I will write back God willing in one week's time to let you know what's up--

But you know what ? I truly EXPECT an improvement-- as others have posted... The HP supplies 0xygen and anybody that ever flushed out an infected area knows how it busts up pus etc and will do the exact same thing on pockets of pure phlegm, mucus plugs etc--and you simply cough all the misery out.

I've just started H202 for chronic bronchitis. I'm up to 11 drops three times a day. Now I want to use it in a nebulizer too. What strength should I use? Should it be straight 3% or mixed with distilled water? I'm super cautious because my lungs have caused me so much trouble over the years. But I want results like Bill Munro talks about.

Hello,

I have been a long time sufferer of COPD. I began using Bill's method (3% stabilized H202 in nasal spray bottle inhaled into the throat) around four years ago. I have since switched to the food grade (diluted to just over 0.5% with distilled water in my nebulizer). If you would like to use the stabilized (brown bottle), I would dilute it to about 1.5%, which is half distilled water and half peroxide. If it feels a little too strong or irritant, dilute it to 1% (1/3 peroxide with 2/3 distilled water. I only use about a teaspoon of this dilution per treatment. I am much happier with the nebulizer treatments. I have also been off of all meds and am still symptom-free. Good luck!

Maggie, I have a question on here about the dilution aspects of the Peroxide. I am informed about Food Grade, 35% and 3%. I've used in Vaporizor and felt fantastic, but it Detoxed me to stomach cramping. Would like to use in Nebulizer! EVERYTHING I read is confusing about "Exact" dilution! Some sites have Mcg, cc, drops, dilate 3% even more. No Homeopathic Doc's here. Read that you used in Nebulizer. What exact amount did you put in cup? Did you mix 3% with distilled water? I appreciate ANY help!

I have emphysema. I get tested every 6 months to check the oxygen in my lungs.. Before I inhaled 3% peroxide my test prove my COPD was getting worse... But this time, after inhaling peroxide for three weeks my lungs have greatly improved. My pulmonologist was impressed at the technician's report that he tested me on difficult state of the art machines that measure the capacity of air in each test and he indeed reported much better than the previous three years.

I didn't tell her what I was doing. I was afraid she would try and stop me... Joan

Great Results! - Bill Munroes Inhaling Method

April of this year I turned 66. Most all of my life I have had a bronchial condition that would cause me to continually try to clear my chest of phlegm. Especially in the morning or after eating foods containing dairy. Very irritating to say the least!

I absolutely abhor the traditional medical practitioners of today. I see most of them as intellectuals being educated beyond their ability to really care about taking care of the patient. My mother was misdiagnosed in the hospital using another patient's blood! And yes she died as a result. Could tell of many more such cases with other family members and friends. Check out this story from today on Yahoo News:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100628/ap_on_he_me/us_med_overtreated_final_days

Now onto my experience with Bill Munro's Inhaling method. As Bill said he uses standard store HP of 3% - available most anywhere. Costco has the large bottles even cheaper.

Over the past 6 or 7 months, I had noticed what felt like a string going down my throat into my lung area. It would cause me to cough even more that usual - all to no relief. At the first part of May of 2010, an apparent virus had hit me hard. Coughing all night, no sleep etc. High fever. And I developed an unusual back ache that went from the right side of my upper rear back area down into the groin area. For many years I had always had a challenge with my back going out until I started taking a Chelated Magnesium that my Alternative Doc recommended. For years, it stopped the back problems until this came along.

In 2007 I had actually purchased a gallon of Wyn's Water which is 3% FGHP in distilled water. But never really started using it. Having forgot about it, and needing relief quickly, I came to good old EC having remembered reading many testimonies about HP and bronchial conditions.

After reading Bill Munro's testimony, I went to the drug store and bought some 3% HP - yes with all of those bad stabilizers and started in Bills' method of spraying several times per day - about 6 to 8 and pumping the sprayer around 8 to 10 times.

Additionally, I also found a testimony by someone on EC that used great mix of Clove Leaf Oil, Cinnamon Leaf Oil, and Oregano Oil. Oregano Oil was pretty expensive so I used some Olive Leaf Oil I had. All are powerful anti-fungals. As recommended, I put some water in a small saucepan bringing it to a boil and added 3-5 drops of each oil. Draped a small dish towel over my head and started deeply inhaling as best I could. This treatment immediately started to break up the phlegm.

As to the fever treatment, I found info on EC about fantastic results using Aluminum oil for burns. But no reports of anyone or anyway to use it for fever. I now have a very funny picture of me with Aluminum Foil wrapped around my head! It was amazing, that as soon as I did this, the foil became very hot! I kept it on for about an hour until I went to bed. Can only say that my fever broke the next day. Who knows on that one? Also read somewhere that HP will raise the body temp.

I did this every night before going to bed along with the HP spraying. I started coughing up all kinds of junk and after only a few days noticed a definite increase in my lung capacity and energy levels were excellent. This nasty virus stayed around for almost all of May!

I kept a large Styrofoam cup next to the bed and in my car to cough all this nasty stuff into. It was interesting that in the morning when I would get up there would be all of this phlegm in the cup that you could not wash out even with very hot water. I thought, wow, know wonder you can't get it out of your system. I wanted to see how the HP worked on this. Just poured a little in the cup and watched as the HP started doing its magic. In a few minutes it had broke up all of the phlegm and it washed right out of the cup. Thought that is exactly what is going on inside of body.

While I am now using the 3% FGHP Wyn's Water HP for my internal spraying, I still have the question of how can you gargle and rinse - as recommended on the bottle and elsewhere - with the store bought and think it is not getting into your body??

I had no side effects of any kind using the store bought product that Bill Munroe uses also. I also had some kind bad of problem in my anus that has plagued me for years and has now completely disappeared. This was an amazing plus.

My back problem also went away! I did also buy an Inversion Board - that is great- and elevated the head of my bed 6 inches. Also from a post on EC.

God Bless all who post here.

Mike

A few months ago I developed a sinus infection and bronchitis.(Symptoms were severe congestion in head and couldn't breath through my nose, post nasal drip causing coughing spells, etc...then using OTC sudafed and nasal sprays would help relieve the congestion only temporarily, finally went to the doctor last month.)

So my doctor gave me prescription antibiotics which didn't help at first, then the next week a different antibiotic, which possibly worked because now, after a few weeks, the yellow mucus has finally turned clear.) I've been a smoker for over 30 years, and many people claim that's why I get sinus problems and bronchitis!

Nevertheless, I am still having congestion and stuffy nose, so, when I came across this site, today I started using Bill Monro's inhalation spray method, sparingly. (I'm a little scared at doing it many times a day, so I'm just doing it morning and evening, for now.) I also went so far as to order food grade 35% H2O2 and will dilute with distilled water 1:11 ratio to make 3%. I also will be putting a few drops of 3% in my drinking water. (One drop in a 16 oz size container.) I also read about drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cidar vinegar in a glass of water every morning, so I've already started doing that too!

I'll report back in a few weeks, or sooner, if my symptoms improve! Thanks!

to Sue from Allentown: I have sinus problems constantly, and asthma, and copd. And yes, they are probably caused by my smoking. (30 years) I have been using h202 diluted to 1% in a portable nebulizer. I don't use it all the time, because I am not sure of what happens when taking a bunch of other meds or vitamins or remedies at the same time. I am not sure if I read it here that you should not take h202 and ACV within 6 hours of each other. I also read that you should take anti-oxidants while taking h202 because of its oxidizing effect. I feel that the h202 has worked for my nasty sinus infections. I not only inhale through my mouth, I breathe the vapors through my nose also. Not alot, just about 5 or 6 breaths. I also put 1 oz. per gallon in my humidifier every night. That really helps my congestion. I do take ACV on a "when I remember basis." I cannot say for sure if all of this is really working or not. I can say that my colds have not been as bad this year, and I have not had to run to the doctor for anti-biotics, or prednisone. I still have sinus congestion, and bronchitis at this time, but another virus has yet again run through my family and friends. I wish I could find answers to all these questions about taking H202. I wish there was a page here on this site, that showed when, how, what to take or not take with it. I have looked into many sites for these answers but there aren't many, and they don't really tell you about any precautions with other meds or remedies at the same time. Hope all turns out fine for you.

The Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalation Method

https://www.earthclinic.com/remedies/hydrogen_peroxide_inhalation2.html

I am sending this email to almost everyone in my address book.

Not all of you know my medical history but I have been using assisted oxygen for the past five or six years. Lately I have been getting fed up with it because my health has been slowly deteriorating.

A couple of months ago I bought a 20 MHz Sweep/Function Generator, a Model GB-4000. It is another fantastic machine but as far as helping my shortness of breath. It did some, but just not enough. If I wanted to go outside of the house I still needed to carry oxygen in a tank and be darn sure that I didn't run short, i.e., carry extra tanks everywhere.

I also have a nebulizer, it's a little machine that creates fog from liquids. I tried putting an ounce of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide in it and inhaling it. Not much of a difference. Maybe 10 minutes of relief from the air hose.

This afternoon I took a small bottle, it previously had lens cleaner in it, and filled it with 3% Hydrogen Peroxide. Then I sprayed the H202 into my mouth as I inhaled, as deeply as I could. Three sprays. I haven't had my air hose on for 45 minutes and I am feeling just fine! At one hour I was tempted to put the air hose back on but instead I gave myself one more spray. The effect is the same as if I had put the hose on.

Here I am at 2 hours and going to spray again. Again, one spray and the effect is the same as if I had put the air hose on.

Folks, I may just be returning my air concentrator to the Rental company in a week or two or just using it for sleeping.

When I think of all the specialists that I have been to in the past 10 years, it is disgusting to think that not a one of them had the answer to my restricted lifestyle. Of course if the General Practitioner, whose office is around the corner had told me to spray H202 into my mouth to solve the problem none of those other specialists would have earned a dime, would they? Quite the sloppy system that we have got going here!

So, if you or someone in your family comes down with a cough, the flu or God forbid, C.O.P.D. I suggest trying some $1 a bottle, 3% Hydrogen Peroxide to cure your ails BEFORE allowing the licensed doctors to drain your wallet.

Also, I strongly suggest reading this entire website because there's lots of wonderful reviews from real people on it.

Yup, I have got a hunch that I am no longer going to be known as the old man with the hose in his nose. LOL

Re the hydrogen peroxide inhalation method: Has anyone who was on oxygen therapy 24/7 been able to get off it with H2O2 therapy?

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

Iv'e been inhaling 3 percent hydrogen peroxide for just over a week now at 4-5 pumps 3 times daily. The first 3 or 4 days it worked great cleared my lungs out got rid of my cold it worked well. After that i got a sore throat and have been coughing up green and yellow stuff. I'm a smoker, smoke about a pack a day, just curious if any one else has had these symptoms.

Well Chris, usually mucous is clear but when you get an infection it turns yellow and then green. The sore throat probably was an indication at the onset of an infection hence the change in mucous color. The hydrogen peroxide can help clear up the infection so you might want to continue.

Hello, I have been struggling with a lung infection called MAC for about 10 years. It is a rare distant relative of TB which then causes all sorts of secondary infections of bronchitis. I have just started using Bill Munro's inhalation method. I am wondering if any else out there has been diagnosed with MAC and if you have had any positive experiences with H202 or any other remedy, I believe I have tried everything from diets to drugs to Chinese medicine to acupuncture. I am hoping that the H202 works because its really my last hope... I will keep you posted on the H202 inhalation. I've started gently, 3 inhalations 4X a day.

I have a chronic lung infection. I wrote about it a few days ago. I started the inhalation therapy last Sunday (6 days ago) with one inhalation and then now I am up to 4 inhalations 5 -6 times a day. My breathing is worse, my chest hurts and I am extremely tired. The interesting thing is that my chronic cough has gone away but the other symptoms worry me. Has anyone experienced these? Any suggestions? I'm afraid that if I have some sort of infection sores in my lungs that they are being very irritated.

This is in response to the post by Peggy from BI, Wash....I have asmtha and was suffering from a lung infection a couple of weeks ago...I started inhaling around this time and did find it to be a little uncomfortable at times. My chest was tight and I got headaches and felt just plain yucky but I kept on inhaling. I am going on my 4th week of inhaling H202 and I wonder how I functioned before. Best of luck to you.

this is really interesting due to many benefits of getting extra oxygen. so i've been researching to find out as much as I can, and also to make sure it is safe.

From what I can tell, this H202 inhalation method is probably true, in which case Bill really has got an incredible amount of benefit from this method of taking H202 and with minimal side effects

However, on the other hand. until i see proof i cannot be totally convinced.

there are some more than unsavory people out there who will do anything to profit from drugs and destroy alternative medicine, and I know it wouldn't be difficult to pay a guy to do this if it were a ploy to give alt medicine a bad name, and to trick idiots into making themselves sick

that being said however, i have trusted bill enough to try it on myself

i have been using this for a week now.

new symptoms: cough
multiple chest worries

it feels like there is sores in my lungs when i breath. and the top of my lungs/chest/up to my throat feels like its being pressured. it feels like someone punched me in the throat

anyway, here is a bit of info I found:

Ozone, the tri-atomic oxygen, is less stable than O2 and its otherwise helpful free radical O1 could become toxic if given in the wrong amount. In the same way, oxygen, which is absolutely needed to sustain life, can also be toxic if excessive amounts are introduced into the body, especially under hyperbaric conditions, in other words under pressure. With its additional O1, ozone when breathed irritates the respiratory mucus membrane because this lining of the lungs is filled with toxins inhaled from the air. The O1 in ozone oxidizes or burns up these pollutants and the resultant oxides cause irritation and a coughing reaction to expel them. If the air we breathed was pure oxygen, ozone would most likely not have this effect. Nonetheless, the effect of over-oxidation of toxins in the lungs due to excess O1 can damage the respiratory mucous membrane, which is why it is never taken directly into the lungs. Similarly if too large a quantity were introduced into the blood, ozone could damage the blood cells for the same reason (over-oxidation). Yet this would be difficult to achieve because it is easily avoided due to the tell-tale coughing sensation that arises when the body reaches its saturation point. Thus, if ozone is used cautiously, it can never be given in excess and can only improve the metabolism of the oxygen in the cell.

This is very worrying for me as I am a heavy cannabis smoker. I probably inhale more than half a gram of multiple poisons and drugs and crap everyday if you work it out and look at whats in the tobacco and cannabis smoke that i breath. this stuff being oxidized in my lungs worries the hell out of me.

I recommend ANYONE who smokes NOT to use this method.

Until someone steps forward who is a smoker and has tried this for a duration of more than a couple of months, I would seriously reconsider the risk.

I may or may not continue. I feel that it is important for us to learn but also we can not forget our original agenda: health.

Peggy Not familiar with MAC however bronchitis & asthma I know; I hardly ever use my inhaler anymore I used to use 2puffs x 4 per day, sometimes even more being a smoker, plus I had a steroid as well, now maybe 2 or 3 times in 6 mos. and no steroids. I now use the good quality Oil of oregano I sniff it right out of the bottle, in the beginning I inhaled everytime I thought about it. the deeper the better, there are lots of labels out there however you only get what you pay for the cheapest is usually just that cheap. This stuff is great, many many uses I'm sure it will kill some of the bacteria and infection check it out on the internet Your breathing will inprove and the phlem breaks up and if you have a cold or stuffy nose yep it clears the nasal passages. good luck and good health Blessings Dianne

Dear Elizabeth in Nashville,

Thank you so much for your response. I have a few questions for you. Did you continue to use your asthma inhalers while on the H202? Do you still need them? You said you wouldn't be without the H202 now. How is your breathing? Is the chest tightness and asthma gone?

I had to stop the H202 after several days - I think I increased the number of inhalations too quickly. I have started gain with a very very low dose (one inhalation 3 times a day) and at the moment I'm still uncomfortable but want to persist for several more weeks gradually increasing the number of inhalations and see how I feel.

Hello Peggy...to answer your questions I do still take my asmtha medication.. (Advair diskus)...I try to space my medication and the HP out so I don't take them at the same time. I am currently going to a Dr. that specializes in HP therapy and she said there should be no problem if I continue taking my medications. I currently have no chest tightness and I haven't taken a rescue inhaler in weeks. I think one of the reasons for this is because I have been coughing up mucus that would have usually stayed in my lungs if not for the HP. I don't think my asmtha will ever go away but if I can keep it under control than I am HAPPY. I can even work out and not have to use my albuterol...which is nice! I have been continously taking the HP (8 pumps 3 times a day) and may increase this gradually. I have honestly not felt this good in YEARS. I was always so TIRED..sometimes I didn't think I would make it out of bed. Now I have tons more energy.

I started out slow the first couple of days...just 3-5 pumps once a day. Plus I had been drinking BS (1/4 tspn in 4 oz water once daily) to alkalize my body so this may have helped with the detox effect.

Hope everything goes well for you!

To Morgan: Curious as to whether or not you continued with the inhalation process. I'm not a heavy cannabis smoker, but still do occasionally with friends (maybe 2-3 times a month). Wondering if your situation has improved.

Peggy & Elizabeth, Have you read "the watercure". Dr Batmanghelidg asserts that asthma is caused by dehydration..the lungs partly shutting down to conserve the body's water which we use up at around 2 litres a day. Even if you think this sounds way out, the book is definitely worth reading, I have had really great benefit from following his advice. Also, it doesn't cost anything to do the watercure!

Dr. suspects I also have MAC. Asthma and COPD symptoms although I have never smoked. Couple of spots on my lungs. Been getting increasingly worse except for a year when I took IV ozone treatments. I am trying the peroxide inhalation method but 5-6 times a day was creating a sore throat so I have cut back to 3 times a day, hoping to slowly build up. Can anyone explain to me why a person has trouble sleeping when inhaling h202 later in day? Thanks for any and all input. I am desperate to breath better without meds.

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

I've used the Bill Munro's drug store 3% H2O2 method for about 3 days. It increased my lung capacity and cleared my sinuses but it also gave me a sore throat on the 3rd day. Then I got a bloody nose and coughed up blood. I guess it's possible that the blood in the lungs drained down from the nose but I suspect it's doing something quite harmful to my lungs.

I wrote a post about throat irritation and coughing up blood about two weeks ago. I talked to Bill Munro about it and he suggested that it might be a die off of an old virus. I took a break for a couple of days and then resumed the H2O2 inhaling but with a 1% solution instead of the 3%. This is working much better. I frequently still get mucus in my lungs after inhaling the H2O2 but I'm considering it to be beneficial and I think it is a clearing out process. I may up to dose to 2% at some point.

Here's an update. My chest congestion is much improved from a change in diet to zero carbs. I still use the hydrogen peroxide spray but very infrequently if I feel my lungs getting congested. I found I couldn't use it several times a day for several days without throat pain and additional chest congestion. It works great to clear out my lungs when used occasionally.

I found using 3% peroxide over the counter from walmart didn't help with my bronchial problem in fact I think it has made it worse. I always get pneumonia for the last 3 years. This year with me doing the home remedies I didn't get it until I had my grandson for a week and he ended up getting it. So immediately I inhaled the peroxide like the post said to do and it made me have a cough attack and my breathing was more constricted. that was 4 weeks ago I did the inhilation 4 times and each time it didn't help I think it made it worse. now I'm still coughing a dry cough like I do after I get pneumonia. Any suggestions? I won't do the inhilation ever again. Every body is different.

re: worse cough, not better? Well, possibly find out what kind of infection the cough is from: mold related, pnemonia or? Nutrients to increase your immune system is so important. Enteric coated Vitamin C helps to improve it, plus B-complex, multi-vitamin, multi-mineral. Also try hyperbaric oxygen chamber.

For the woman with asthmatic children I would definitely recommend the so-called "watercure". Instructions are free and the only cost is for sea salt.

In my H2O/H2O2 research I've noticed a similarity in the greatly varied responses to this therapy. and it occurs to me it makes perfect sense that water in a dehydrated body (it is estimated that over 70% in US are chronically dehydrated) would have a profound and greatly varied, overall effect, just as an influx of oxygen would.

It seems that some are frightened by what is called the "healing crisis", but one must remember that oxygen (like plain water) is going to have an effect on EVERYthing, including problems one may not even be aware they are having. These "new" things may flair up, temporarily, as they are cleared and appear to be side effects when they are merely the healing of previously unknown problems.

I'm glad I found this site. Now I have water with extra oxygen plus, less craving for cigarettes! And now, if I could just get rid of this craving for coffee...

Thanks EarthClinic!!
