Hydrogen Peroxide as a Natural Remedy: Benefits and Precautions

Sinus Issues
Posted by Kasimon00 (Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Usa) on 01/22/2010

i am new to h2o2 use. my best friend is getting them iv for post cancer treatment . i was sick with chills fever stopped up nose. went to her dr. and he gave me a nebulizer treatment with h2o2. i shared with him that my daughter suffers with sinus issues on a regular basis she has a heart condition that if she takes over the counter meds. she gets heart palpitations. it then gets bad enough that she ends up at dr. getting a steroid shot. i was told i could tell her to do a nebulizer treatment of h2o2 at the onset of sinus problem.

i have a nebulizer but not sure what strength h2o2 food grade to buy and how much to put in and do i dilute it in water and what kind? also if you have any other suggestions in the way of preventative for her it would be appreciated

Concerning the use of H202 in a nebulizer, caution must be exercised at all costs. From what I have read it appears that .50 % H202 mixed with saline solution is the proper ratio. I would also recommend that you only use FG H202 for this method.

Although the benefits of using H202 are well documented, its serious stuff and needs to be respected accordingly. Perhaps you should consult the doctor whom initially gave you the treatment as well.

Hydrogen Peroxide and Diabetes

I would like to know if I can start drinking a H2o2 solution with my diabetes meds. I'm on Metformin 1000 mg and Glipizide 10 mg and Onglyza 5 mg for type 2 diabetes and want to know if I should stop taking the pills during the H2o2 regimen. Thanks for the help

I have been ingesting the 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide, diluted to a 3% solution...I am currently taking 1oz in 5ozs of water, 3xs daily, for a week and then I increase...however during the course of this protocol I have noticed that it is exacerbating my immune system conditions...also, when checking my urine ph levels, I was already acidic, but it seems to have made it worse for me. I am at a 5.5 when taking it...can anyone suggest why this is the case and what I can do to make myself more alkaline? Would a combination of baking soda, or apple cider vinegar do the trick?

WARNING!

I tried the popular internet dosing routine for the diluted 35% food grade Hydrogen Peroxide protocol, about ten days ago. The protocol that I attempted was as follows:

Day 1: 3 drops, 3xs a day
Day 2: 4 drops, 3xs a day
Day 3: 5 drops, 3xs a day
Day 4: 6 drops, 3xs a day
Day 5: 7 drops, 3xs a day
Day 6: 8 drops, 3xs a day
Day 7: 9 drops, 3xs a day
Day 8: 10 drops, 3xs a day
Day 9: 12 drops, 3xs a day
Day 10: 14 drops, 3xs a day
etc.etc. up to 25 drops, 3xs a day.

I was only able to complete this protocol for at least ten days.

When I first began I diluted the 35% food grade Hydrogen Peroxide drops in about 6-8ozs of water. It immediately began killing my stomach and so I increased my water to about 9-11 ozs...11 ozs is way too much water for me to ingest at one time...it made my stomach feel as if it were going to blow up...then someone suggested that I dilute the 35% food grade Hydrogen Peroxide in 8ozs of milk which I tried, to no avail...In the past I have suffered from stomach ulcers and this regimen most certainly exacerbated my condition, or perhaps created a new one...it felt like it was ripping my stomach in half...now, perhaps this solution must be further diluted, I am not sure, but what I am sure of is that the initial protocol, that is widely distributed via the internet, was without a doubt a tremendously painful experience for me. I am not in any way indicating that it will most certainly be someone else's experience, verbatim, but nonetheless I feel the need to share what has happened to me in order to possibly aide someone else in their attempts. I do not think that the former protocol for diluted 35% food grade Hydrogen Peroxide is good for ulcerous stomachs...you must be extremely careful if you have these issues...that is really all I can say...

If you have an ulcer you should deal with that first. 2 ounces of fresh cabbage juice 5 times a day for a couple of weeks will usually do the trick. Most ulcers are caused by NSAIDS (aspirin, Tylenol, Advil, etc.)so you need to watch those. If this doesn't improve things you'll need to have your doctor run a few tests to see if something larger is going on.

And here are my thoughts on the 3% store bought hydrogen peroxide:

First of all I have seen all of the postings, via the internet, about using the 3% store bought hydrogen peroxide as mouth wash, etc. so I tried it...on the back of the bottle it says to mix it with an equal amount of water...well, first off I tried it mixed with an equal amount of water and I also tried a miniscule amount of it straight...as mouthwash...I gurgled it around in my mouth, morning and night, after brushing...it made my gums extra sensitive and made them crack open and bleed, all over...the one thing that it did do was kill the toothache that I had...so, perhaps I did not dilute it enough, or properly, etc. and again, I state that this is only my personal experience, and as such, it may not be applicable to everyone else, but it is important to note, nonetheless...

Hi,

This is a question that goes out to anyone who is knowledgeable enough to understand biochemistry and stuff like that (I don't know much in this field). I was reading through the hydrogen peroxide page on EC when I found a link to books on Amazon about H2o2.

I found the following review on a book about H2o2. Usually I know there are both kinds of reviews about anything (and blokes from pharma companies giving misinformation or "debunking" natural cures.) but this reviewer seemed to be giving out "facts" that can possibly be checked.

The review is here:
http://www.amazon.com/review/R2F8ZCPBUDOCRV/ref=cm_cd_pg_pg3?ie=UTF8&cdPage=1

Can somebody please give me more information after reading his review (is he really talking sense?), there seem to be people there agreeing with him and suddenly my plans to try H2o2 to get rid of chronic fatigue/candida are no longer looking like plans :(

Dear Ted,

Thank you so much for that reply. You made my head feel lighter since it does look like I have H2O2 still there on my side :) Your replies to so many things/questions on this site are highly appreciated.

Sai

PS: I didn't reply earlier because I didn't know where to look for my question on the site.

Hello Sai and all,

My name is Sachin. I am a member of this site. Do you have any idea that from where can one purchase Food Grade Oxygen in India... particularly so in Delhi?

One more thing that bothers me is the release of oxygen atoms (not molecules) by the Hydrogen peroxide. The oxygen atoms are the free radicals that are a highly reactive species and are resposible for high and fast oxidation. I dont buy the idea that oxygen atoms are harmful only to anaerobic organisms. Its a checical reaction, oxygen atoms can chemically react with any chemical (even from a aerobic organism) that can distort the checmical structure of the molecule of the aerobic organism... The change of molecular structure (by reacting with O atom) of a aerobic substance means the O atom has effectively given harm to the aerobic bacteria or aerobic tissue of the human body... Though I am not against the effectiveness of oxygen in treating diseases, I suspect adverse affects of oxygen free radicals on our living tissues in our bodies..

An alternative method can be using water with higher levels of dissloved oxygen. These will be oxygen MOLECULES and not atoms i.e. not free radicals.. may be one can obtain this by use of Hydrogen Peroxide as well. O atoms are highly reactive, they are very unstable also. There are O atoms produced in a solution of h2O2 and water mixture. it may happen that after keeping the solution at rest for sometime, the O atoms being unstable may combine with each other in the solution to form O2 molecules. Thus creating dissolved oxygen in water. To explain chemically:-

H2O2 ----> H2O O (highly reactive) (in water)
O O ----> O2

What say??

Also Sai, please let me know if you know about any vendors for Food Grade H2O2 or Oxygenated water in Delhi or in India.

Many Thanks in advance!

Hi I have recently started taking H2O2 orally.. I have been really nauseous and would like to know what the possible cause of this could be, I have breast implants and am concerned that it could be causing a reaction... any comments or suggestions on where I can find out more about this?

Answer to Lyndi about the internal use of H2O2.

When you take H2O2 internally, you must take your solution on empty stomach. You may start also with a solution even more diluted than the one you are actually using. Try the very diluted ways as suggested by Ted at EC.

To know more about various H2O2 protocols here are a few links:

Hydrogen Peroxide -- Understand Percentage by Volume

Hi everyone...Can someone who is a chemist or knowledgeable please confirm something for me?..In the Philippines where I live, HP is only sold in 10% by Volume and 20% by Volume amounts. I remember reading somewhere(I think!!) that 10% by Volume represents a 3% solution of HP, and that 20% by volume of HP represents a 6% solution of HP.

Can someone who is a chemist please confirm whether I'm right or wrong about this ?

Much thanks in advance...

How do we convert 35% Food Grade Hyrogen Peroxide to the 3% suggested for internal drop usage? I would like mix 1oz. of the 35% but I'm not sure how much water to add to make it 3%.

These stories seem too amazing to be true! I've been doing a few days worth of research and have decided I will try the inhalation method using 0.5% (Food Grade) Hydrogen Peroxide and supplementing with the baking powder in water drink to adjust bodies internal pH (monitoring using litimus paper).

My wife and I will be doing this (for a month or so)as a general health pick-me-up experiment. Our adult daughter is considering trying this to see what effect it will have on her hepatitis rather than the dangerous chemical path of Interferon etc.

While researching this topic I found this very informative paper by a Professor in Ireland it has many references. Of course any individual should fully research his condition before deciding to use any of these methods and inhilation is potentially dangerous with some lung illnesses and to smokers.

Hi how long have you been using h202 and has it effected your hip re: at all? have you had any improvement in what ever your treating and how often and what dose are you using? also are you on any meds or supps at all? thanx

Artificial Joints

Well, there isn't any studies that I know of which would state either or. However, as an orthopedic physician assistant, I would see no reason why this would be contraindicated. There is nothing physiologically speaking of that should inhibit you from taking H202 with any sort of joint replacement. Good luck.

Warning - do not do the h202 with a cemented joint! It loosens the cement! I have been researching it. A non-cemented joint (which I have) is okay. It will break the weight strain of the cement. Love Andrea C xxx

I don't want to quit.. I feel so good. Since I have been taking this. When can I start if I do have to stop taking my therapy.

HI U SHARON,,,,,,,,, I suggest that you research how an ozone shot can help even an artificial knee. It should be against the law and it is. I do both H2O2 and ozone and ozone is a winner by far. As Limbaugh says...... trust me.

Hello,

I had a question in regards to the Hydrogen Peroxide treatment. I have tried it with great benefit, I stand behind it. My wife was diagnosed with Lupus, she has seen what it has done for me, but is worried about using it, because she is on medication and would like to know if it can react negatively with the prescription drugs.

I would love to be in contact with Bill Munroe.
Thank you

I have a question to you all, this morning in the Australian News they came up with a new technique Laser beam in to a pancreatic cancer to activate a drug to starve it of oxygen. Everybody else says cancer or virus can not survive in oxygen enviroment what can we believe???

Cancer
Posted by Diva4health (Calgary, Calgary, Ab Canada) on 12/15/2009

I do believe that it is true. Cancer is not a mystery. It is toxicity. First, we have to do the emotional work as we know that is related. Then, detoxify the body and provide it with what it needs. The oxygen is absolutely needed as a way of helping the cells.

Cancer

Your pH levels should be as close to 7 as possible. You can get pH strips at a health food store to test. Also, cancer loves sugar!!! The more oxygen you can get through your body, the better off you are.
