I have used L-Glutathione for years for stiffness or joint pain of any type. I works great. I am told it is the key to allow calcium and vit. D amd mag. into the osteoblasts. Without it very little gets in to keep them working properly and it works really well. It also detoxifies the liver. Also I use a product called colon tone by Dr.Eskeland. It is an oxygen based cleaner and one of the great things I noticed it also does is help with yeast infections which I have often, I am guessing the xtra oxygen in the colon kills bacteria. All I know is its great not to have to put up with those yeast infections constantly. I suppose you can find it on the web. Otherwise e-mail me and I can tell you where I get it. Also the glutathione is a very inexpensive supplement.

There is one remedy I know of that works for yeast infections and doesnt burn like acv. It is regular tea bags. I dont know it stops the itching and irritation, but I m not sure if it cures it, I did this when I was on antibiotis and it worked. I wanted to take acidophillus, but I didnt know how it would interact with the antibiotics. What you do is:

1) boil some tea bags, black tea or chamomile, or whatever tea bags you have. I used Lipton and chamomile.
2) Get a douche bottle
3) Take the tea after it has cooled down and place it in the douche bottle, then douche.
4) After that, pack the tea bags into the vagina lips, not into the canal (DO NOT WRING THE BAGS OUT)
5) Get a maxi pad and place it in your panties so you dont leak, that would be embarrassing. It discreet enough that no one would know that you have them in there.

When you think the bags are drying out, replace them, of course wash up before doing this and after just in case of contamination. Oh yeah, and get a new douche bottle everytime or boil the one you have, although, I dont know if it can stand the boiling water, and not melt. Good luck, try this, it does work!

For those who have a yeast infection, one thing that you desire to think about doing is applying tea tree oil like a home cure. Individuals who use tea tree oil know the advantages of it and just how fast it really works. It does not take enough time to complete if you wish to check it out.

Obtain a tampon, and lube jelly. Make certain that you simply place the jelly on top 1 / 2 of the tampon. Once you have place the jelly on top half, put a couple of drops from the oil onto it. You will simply require a couple of drops. Once you have completed individuals steps, just place it within your vagina. It sometimes might sting therefore it is best utilizing a applicator tampon to assist avoid the sting.

Without having lube, you are able to change it with using essential olive oil. You simply perform the same factor you'd do using the lube jelly. Many people opt for essential olive oil rather because they do not desire to use the lube. Each one works every bit as good because the other.

By doing this is not so popular yet and you might like to engage with your doctor first prior to trying the tea tree oil method. It's assisted many people and for certain, it's cured people whether they have had candida albicans.

If you're on other medicines or if you work with other creams, this kind of treatment methods are not for you personally. Don't mix creams together and add the tea tree oil in addition. It may be very harmful. Make use of the oil treatment only alone and never along with other medicines.

Ok after weeks of reocurring yeast infections/bv I am thrilled to report I found relief! I had been to ob gyn who prescribed difulcan but after 2 weeks symptoms returned. I read and tried a few of the remedies on this site and found a few to work for a day or two but the symptoms always came back. After 3 days of tea tree oil and no fabric softener I finally feel back to normal. I also cut back on all sweets and starchy foods. I will continue regimen a day or two longer but I already feel 95% better! Thank you for posting :)

Tea tree oil helps for yeast infections, both as prevention and early-stage cure. For prevention, simply apply a few drops on the bikini area after washing morning and evening. If you notice the first signs of a yeast infection, take a tampon, apply a few drops of olive oil, or almond oil, or best of all St John's wort oil (which has soothing properties) on the tip. This will render it less absorbant. Then add 2-3 drops of Tea tree oil and insert the tampon for the night. You can do this again in the morning. If the infection is caught relatively early, works like a charm! Better than garlic, yoghurt, ACV - at least, in my experience.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea Tree oil is excellent for yeast infections. For years I suffered with Chronic, re-occurring, will not go away no matter what I do, yeast infections. It was God awful, the most uncomfortable feeling ever. Sometimes Monistat would not always work for me and I would have to buy a tube 3 times a month. This gets expensive. It seemed like every time I had sex I would get one. I would have to abstain for weeks at a time, battling these yeast infections. Men just do not understand. Even if I wore the wrong underwear, or do ANYTHING, I would get one.

I tried everything. I read somewhere that soaking a tampon in tea tree oil and inserting overnight for three nights, would cure it. I don't normally use tampons, so I grabbed an eye dropper and filled it halfway, about 3 or 4 drops of tea tree oil, and put it in there. It burned severely, so, being a fan of Castor oil, I put a large dropperfull of that in there, also, and it lessened it tremendously. You have to combine both, or it will, burn you, and be highly uncomfortable. Do this, for two nights and I promise you will get results. You can get a good sized bottle of excellent quality tea tree oil, that will last you a long time for $10. Also good for any fungal infections on the skin.
Cheers

If you get them after having sex, with the same partner, it could be possible that you are passing the yeast infection back and forth. sometimes the infection can live on a male esp if there is constant exposure to the infection (from your vagina).

Hi Ted: I've had reoccurring yeast and bladder infections for years after reading you post on Vit B3 deficiency and yeast overgrowth I began taking it 2 days ago when I take it my neck ears face and arms break out in a rash a few hours after taking. Is this normal should I still be taking it?

EC: B3, aka Niacin:

"Most people taking niacin experience skin flushing and a warm sensation, especially of the face, neck, and ears when they begin treatment or increase dose. This reaction is usually mild, but has been intolerable enough to cause up to half of participants in studies to stop therapy. Dry skin and itching is also commonly experienced."

Tips to Avoid Reinfection

Tips to avoid reinfection

I suffered from recurring yeast infections since I was a teenager. I would use condoms consistently but I was still getting them. What I did to get rid of yeast infections was I started pre washing all my underwear by washing each one daily in hot water and antibacterial hand soap. Then I wash them a second time in the washing machine in hot water and bleach and unscented washing liquid by All. If you don't have time to prewash your underwear just wash them in the washer machine but set the washer to double rinse. I only add two pours of bleach to color and white underwear and it doesn't fade the color. If you don't like bleach add pinesol and hot water. Hot water kills the yeast in your underwear and prevent reinfection. I believe many women are reinfecting themselves without knowing. Also get your partner treated. If they refuse treatment end the relationship. Your health is more important. I also take a women probiotics. I like the ones with cranberry. There is another one called femdophlis. It has good reviews on Amazon. I also make sure to bath in salt water and oatmeal for bath. Sea salt kills yeast. I stop using soaps with fragrance. I use dove unscented or I use
liquid castle soap with essential oils. My favorite is opengate castle soap with lavender essential oil or peppermint. You can also buy the melt and pour soaps and add lavender and tea tree essential oil with neem powder to the soap and put it in a soap mold. Look into tea tree oil and lavender essential oil because they fight yeast. Neem soap and powder kill yeast but should only be used on skin not internally. Amazon sells different brands of castle soap just make sure to read the labels on your products and make sure it doesn't contain fragrance or purfumes. Essential oils are safe scents and don't affect vaginal ph. I also use tea tree oil bath salts with no fragrance by daily remedy. These changes has saved me. I've been yeast free and I eat a normal diet. I do try not to overdo the sugar and bread.

I suffered with yeast infections for years. Tried everything until I stopped eating sugar products and started taking Undecylenic Acid. I did research and found that Formula SF722 from Thorne is excellent for clearing yeast issues. I no longer suffer with this problem.

Vanadium (Vanadyl Sulfate)

I have been suffering with an ongoing yeast infection due to heavy antibiotics being used throughout the year for various issues. The two remedies that have worked the best and almost instantly like OVERNIGHT are Ted's 1/8 Tsp Borax in 1 Liter of water... And another one that I think I may have stumbled on by accident recently...

While the Borax remedy helped me instantly overnight, on the three days that I did not take the Borax, the irritation came back right away...

Well, I recently came across one of Ted's posts for weight loss and he mentioned Vanadium (Vanadyl Sulfate) to help control blood suger... So, I purchased some Vanadyl Sulfate online and began taking 200 mg for 4 days out of a week and 3 days off.

Since I've been doing this my yeast infection seems to be much less noticable now and is going away... I have not been drinking the Borax either... The only other supplement I've been taking is Keto 7 DHEA... So, I'm guessing it must be the Vanadium or Vanadyl Sulfate... I'm not sure why the Vanadium is helping me... But what a neat little discovery!

Vitamin E, Oregano Oil, Boric Acid

I recently had a really bad yeast infection and had tried literally everything to get rid of the infection. I took diflucan (ha!), soaked in ACV/BS bath, used tea tree oil, and even inserted garlic cloves.... you name it. I've read about the powerful anti-fungal properties of oregano oil and I had some on hand. This was not a diluted brand but a 100% strength oil (so you have to be sure to dilute it well). I saturated a cotton ball with vitamin E oil and put ONE drop of oregano oil on it. I used this to apply the oil to my area, all over. It did feel warm and tingly for about a minute but after that, NO ITCHING. I was shocked. Within 2 days all my symptoms were gone and I have been good since. I should also note I also used boric acid caps vaginally while using the oregano oil to take care of the yeast inside.
