Apple Cider Vinegar, Coconut Oil
★★★★★
Here is what I did: DAY 1- mixed 1/2 cup boiled water with 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar. Using a cloth or cotton ball soak with solution and apply all over area. I also took a couple q tips and soaked them in and stuck them inside of my for 5 minutes. This burned a bit, but nothing horrible. I did this 3x daily.
DAY 2- Same as day 1, but after each ACV treatment take organic coconut oil and slather all over affected area. Then take a q tip and cover in coconut oil and insert into vagina. Basically you want to actually place a decent amount of coconut oil in there, probably close to 1/2 a tsp. wear a panty liner/pad as some does end up dripping.
DAY 3- By now I was actually feeling about 90% back to normal, but repeated day 2 anyway.
It is now the end of day 3 and I feel about 95% better and am hoping after one more day ill be at 100%! Definitely give these natural remedies a try, very worth saving the $20 for a kit! This whole process probably only cost me a couple dollars! (Had ingredients on hand).

Update: My yeast infection came back. This time, my research showed that taking Saccharomyces Boulardii (S-Boulardii), which is a yeast used as a probiotic, can help. I tried taking 3 billion CFUs a day and felt a difference in 2 days. The itching is gone, and I plan to stay on S-Boulardii until I finish the bottle.

Me too. Worst experience I ever had. Pain was immediate on contact, very terrible burning sensation, redness and itching as tho when I was a kid and got skinned knees. Used mineral oil to soothe and in a day or so, redness and swelling ended. But the smell lingered, tho a brand new box within expy date. For the odor, aloe vera gel cooled, soothed, and best of all ended the odor first application to irritated area.

Bentonite Clay
★★★★★
About 5 months ago I discovered bentonite clay and it has changed my life! I bought the liquid form and followed the instructions on the bottle which is to add 1 tablespoon to an 8 oz glass of water and drink 2 times a day on an empty stomach. Within 1 week my yeast infection was completely gone. Since then I've only had 1 relapse (I went on vacation for 10 days, was in the pool for hours at a time, drank lots of beer and ate lots of starchy foods and unfortunately did not bring bentonite clay with me) As soon as I got home I started taking it again and my yeast infection was gone in less than a week. Now I only take it once a day about 3 times a week and I'm still doing well. I have not experienced any side effects and am very happy with the results.

I am so sorry for the delay, Maria. I have not checked this site in a while (I assumed EC would email me if there were any responses to the thread). I purchase my bentonite clay from a local health food store in Los Angeles, but it can also be purchased on Amazon. As I mentioned, I use the kind that comes in liquid form. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm allowed to give the brand name here.
I would like to add that since posting my review I only take bentonite clay once every couple of weeks and am still doing great!

Hi,
What brand of clay did you use? I've been using one for 3 weeks with no improvement yet. Wanted to try a different clay. Please advise!
Betel Leaves
At first, there was white thing in my genital area (I am a guy). I just washed it, and it kept coming back, then I searched internet, and found it was yeast infection. Then using monistat and few drops of vinegar, it was gone in a week, then came back again, diet, using a lot of remedies were not working like: ginger, garlic, coconut oil, turmeric, lemon water.
I knew for a long time about this betel leaves benefit. My friend and my sister already told me about it, but it didn't cross in my mind of using it. Well, one day I met my friend in the bus, and told her bout the yeast infection. Then she told me how to use it. I bought it following day. Here is what happened:
I went to the asian market (Hawaii supermarket in Alhambra, CA), I couldn't find it in other markets. I took the bus, it was a little bit late and cold, but I gotta do something for myself. I bought it, then used only 5 leaves (tore it in small pieces), put 3 bottles waters each 500ml, then boil it for about 20 mins. I mixed a little bit of the turmeric powder in it. Wait until cold, then drink it. Also important thing is to apply the water to the infected area. You will see the color changes to its normal color without any side effect like burning instantly.
I didn't do it that way. Instead, I used the still wet boiled torn leaves to apply it to the area. instantly the color changed, and I didn't see the peeled off skin anymore. I did it for few times before going to bed. Next morning, it looked great. but I still continue doing it for the next couple weeks until it's really gone. I apply it every 3 hours on day time.
On the 3rd day, I tested my spit into a clear cup of water, a lot white separate thing into the water, but I did't see the 'spider net' going down to the bottom anymore. I think the white spread like wet powder in the water are the dead yeast parasite.
Hopefully this post will help everybody in this world, no matter where you are. God bless, and thank you for reading my experience. Naga

Borax
★★★★★
Wanted to use something I had in the house already, so I made borax suppositories and using 3 of them in 1.5 days, itching gone, relief. Continue 2xday for 3 days, then 1xday for 5 days.
3 oz coconut oil (gently melted in glass measuring cup inside water bath in pan on stove).
Add 2.5 tsp Borax, mix in
Cool to at least 100 degrees.
I added ... (optional)
5 drops Tea Tree EO
4 drops Vitamin E oil
5 crushed/motar-pestal Probiotic tablets.
Stir. The borax will settle but just stir as you go along filling.
What to put the liquid in?
I had some washed & sterilized applicators left over from previous cream. Also, I had some fat bubble tea straws (cut in half and fold on one end and stapled to hold the liquid).
To make it easier to fill, I used a large syringe (no needle). You want to use about 5 ml for each.
Use a small glass to stand up the applicators/straws and throw in frig to set. After set, you can put in a baggie or container. Left overs can be put in freezer for a later date.
I would take out one apx 10 min before use so it slides out easily. Of course, the applicator is easy to use. With the straw you can just squeeze it out and insert with your fingers, or, if you cut off the stapled part, you can use the wide end of the applicator to push/insert it.
In the meantime, if you severe itching I found Alka-Thyme or AlkaCare (and alkaline mouthwash) put on cotton pads and rubbed all around down there, will give immediate and lasting relief. It has many uses besides being a mouthwash, bug bites, sunburn, etc.
Also, after, might want to take probiotics orally and insert some down there.

After searching I came across this site and read about Borax. I have it in the bathroom for making laundry soap. I don't have any capsules to use so I just stirred about 2 tsp into 2 cups of water. The burning and itching were so bad I couldn't stand it and I didn't even wait for it to dissolve before shooting some up there with a turkey baster in the bathtub. It burned for a minute but then it got about 95% better and I feel SO much better. Well at least I do down there. I found out the hard way that long turkey basters don't balance well in small measuring cups and that when you knock the solution across the tub while balanced precariously everything gets a bit slippery. Next time I will sit in the bathtub instead.
