Natural Treatments for Cancer

My mother (72) was diagnosed of a tumor in her bile duct (2 cm) which is cancerous. Her eyes and skin are very yellow. Allopathic doctors have no treatment for her as they say the cancer has entered into blood vessels. Please suggest what can be alternative treatment.

Just a comment: I shared some data on H2O2 on another site unrelated to the earthclinic about H2O2 and I guess they did not want to hear it. They called it snake oil to say the least. My intent was not to say H2O2 was the gospel for curing cancer, but just to hear someone elses viewpoints. It did not go well.. but Im open to hear about success rates with it.

Hi Ted/Bill, I have a question on the use of saba snake grass.....Whilst taking this remedy for cancer, can one take other liver supportive remedies like milk thistle, Alpha Lipoeic acid, N-acetyl-L-cysteine, SAM-e or any other supplements to enhnace its efective. In short what is the protocol for its use?

Is it necessary to make drastic or any diet changes while taking curcumin? I have never read where anyone who has cancer saying they've made any changes to their diet, and they say they are cancer free after they've been on curcumin. Thanks.

Study highlights role of glutamine in absence of glucose in growth of B cell tumor.

Cancer cells have been long known to have a "sweet tooth, " using vast amounts of glucose for energy and for building blocks for cell replication.

Now, a study by a team of researchers at Johns Hopkins and elsewhere shows that lymph gland cancer cells called B cells can use glutamine in the absence of glucose for cell replication and survival, particularly under low-oxygen conditions, which are common in tumors.

Writing in the Jan. 4, 2012, edition of Cell Metabolism, Anne Le, M. D. , and a team of investigators collaborating with the Johns Hopkins Brain Science Institute, say the finding is critical for developing innovative cancer therapies because it offers "proof of concept" evidence that curbing the growth of B cell cancers can be accomplished by inhibiting a glutamine enzyme called glutaminase.

Le notes that although little is known about glutamine's role in the growth of B cell cancer, the amino acid circulates in the blood at the highest level among the 20 amino acids that do so.

The tricarboxylic acid cycle (TCA or Krebs cycle) is classically regarded as a pathway for glucose oxidation. However, the experiments by Le and the team show that B cells oxidize glutamine when glucose is absent.

The study also found that when oxygen is scarce, there is enhanced conversion of glutamine to glutathione, an important agent for controlling the accumulation of oxygen-containing chemically reactive molecules that cause damage to normal cells.

When the investigators used a glutaminase inhibitor, cancerous growth of B cells was stopped in petri dishes.

"The flexibility of the TCA cycle in using both glutamine and glucose pathways may be important for cancer cells to proliferate and survive, especially under the low-oxygen and nutrient-deprived conditions often encountered in the tumor microenvironment, " says Le.

Now, perhaps, scientists can exploit that survival strategy to stop cancer, according to former Johns Hopkins scientist Chi Dang, M. D. , now at the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania. "A broader and deeper understanding of cancer cell metabolism and cancer cells'ability to reprogram biochemical pathways under metabolic stress can be a rich ground for therapeutic approaches targeting tumor metabolism, " he says.

In addition to Le, an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, other researchers from Johns Hopkins who participated in this study include Sminu Bose, Arvin Gouw, Joseph Barbi, Takashi Tsukamoto, Camilo J. Rojas and Barbara Slusher. The Johns Hopkins Brain Science Institute, where Tsukamoto, Rojas and Slusher are faculty, is pursuing the development of new glutaminase inhibitor drugs.

"It is expected that annual cancer cases will rise from 14 million in 2012 to 22 within the next two decades."

HI U GOOD FOLKS DOIN, , , , , , , Thought I'd bring you up to date on the carcinoma that I had on my hand. First, I tried to handle it by treating it with iodine. That was affecting it but too slow so I got my doctor to cut it out. It healed very well, except there was a tiny black spot still there. Even though the pathologists reported to the sergeon that he got the entire cancer, I knew he had not. I then ordered Bloodroot Black Salve from Uragury from the American the FDA sent to prison for selling the stuff here several years ago. Anyway , the salve caused the cancer to harden and start to rise just like it did with the iodine. Only this time it also ate deep into my hand. Dear hearts, there is much pain to this procedure. Soon the entire thing came off and left a pretty deep hole in my hand. That is what it is supposed to do. Now the hole has filled in and only a small scab remains. I am satisfided that the cancer is gone. On future skin cancers, I will use the solution made from the Egg Plant. It is slower but is not as agressive as Bloodroot Black Salve. Got ATS to tell you, but you will have to wait 6 months on this one. I got another serious health problem and have elected to go the natural way. Since Ted has said that mycoplasma -- a fungal form of bacteria -- causes arthritis, it also makes sense that borax is probably also the ultimate fungal killer. I used borax as part of my own protocol to get rid of my candida and it worked very well.

All I did was type "mycoplasma cancer" in Google Scholar search and I got hundreds of research results. Mycoplasms are usually always found in cancer and leukemia cells and borax kills mycoplasma and candida so there is your reason why borax is useful against both candida and cancer.

The MSDS for borax also shows that borax has about the same toxicity as common table salt upon the human body.

I truly believe borox can kill Candida... Alkalinity is good for blood but hear it can lower stomach acid. The gut should be acidic as to my understanding.... Just confused I would get super constipated.

HI U GOOD PEOPLE DOIN. Just became aware that there is a test developed by Purdue U that can tell by a particular protein in your cells if you have cancer or not. It is 5 to 6 years ahead of our current accepted technology. We just took the test and will know in a few weeks if we have a problem or not. A friend suffering lung cancer advised me to try HP, saying how much better he felt generally. Will it be safe to give my husband who has Myeloma?

When I used to use a microwave I'd clean off all the grime left behind by putting 1/2 lemon in a dish of water on high for a couple of minutes then everything would wipe off easily. So this could be what happens in the intestines? Do you think hot water with lemon would work better? Thanks

No dont put hot water with the lemon it will cook the active ingredients. Theirs a lot of anecdotal evidence with regards to lemons stopping cancer, either way I can swear on the bible since I started using it over time the health benifits become obvious. I use fresh squeezed orange juice with the juice of one lemon added with a capfull of apple cider vinegar, once a day before meals. This is a maintainence dose. If your wanting to clear something up you might have to take more to start off. My left ear has gone from completly deaf to normal hearing since I started using it in the new year. It was deaf for at least a decade.

My first experience using ginger medicinally was for my dog who had lymphatic leukemia. Dylan was a 9 y/o Giant Schnauzer. I was searching the net for ways to help him and the use of a variety of amino acids and other anti oxidants helped keep him alive until I ran across this.

It turns out that ginger has the same effect on a variety of cancers as a drug, DiChloroAcetate (DCA), being experimented with at the University of Alberta with great success. Cancer shuts down the mitochondria in the cells with controls the lifecycle of the cells. What this means is the cells don't die. They just keep dividing and dividing. Ginger reactivates the mitochondria, causing the normal cell lifecycle to resume, and essentially causing the cells to essentially commit suicide. One of the other main benefits of ginger being used in this manner is, unlike conventional medicines which basically are poisons and the hope is they will kill the cancer before they kill everything else around it, is that ginger reawakening the mitochondria only affects the cancer cells, not the cells around the cancer.

Unfortunately, we will never see DCA used to treat cancer in the USA. It's a drug that has been off patent for decades and is now sold as a generic drug. There just isn't enough profit in it for the drug companies to do the R&D to get it approved.

Ginger also has a few other effects on cancer. It inhibits tumor growth. I believe this is from all the amino acids in ginger which are antioxidants scavenging up free radicals which spread cancer to other cells.

It also tricks cancer cells into consuming themselves. Ginger also helps maintain normal sugar levels in the body. Cancer thrives on sugar. When cancer runs out of sugar they start consuming themselves.

I would grate about a teaspoon of ginger into fruit and yogurt for breakfast for my dog and mix another grated teaspoon into his dinner.

I did not stop conventional treatment. I don't know if it would have worked alone. It was not worth the risk to find out.

The CoQ10 and ALA support the mitochondria and the ALC recycles the ALA making it more effective.

Since then I've discovered that ginger has many other medicinal properties and I now take it regularly. I'll just take a slice of fresh ginger 1-2 times a day, suck on it until it's almost flavorless and then chew on it and swallow it. Now I'm taking fewer supplements for other problems. I'm also hoping this will help ward off cancer as my family seems susceptible to it.

I'll be growing my own ginger this summer. I hear it's pretty easy to grow in a planter and can be grown indoors. Just dig up the roots as you need them and put more soil in for the roots to continue to grow in.
