My Wife has colon cancer, and is now suffering with extreme cachexia, I have recently started her on hydrazine sulphate to reverse it.

But I have also read about chloroquine (anti malarial drug) which is now under clinical trials, as it inhibits autophagy.

My question do you think it is possible to combine both treatments in an attempt to starve the cancer?

Get this book "How I Cured My Stage Four Multi-Organ Cancer" By William Truck. He used black salve and yellow salve to pull it up to the surface of the skin in what is called an eschar. Then the eschar is removed much as a scab. It left a huge scar. But if he had applied a plantain poultice, or even honey it would have healed without scaring. Soak plantain leaf in olive oil over night. Apply to skin. Allow to stay until leaf dries up. Then replace continually until sore heals. if bandaid is needed only use gauze and make it big, two pieces overlapping about one half inch to cover wound. Then when leaf dries just part the gauze and insert new leaf.

I did this for my husband's brown recluse bite. Three days completely healed no scar. Plantain very powerful, but don't know that it is as powerful as the salve. Expect a lot of pain as the salve does it's job with removing the tumor if you have a cancer. Truck's book says some don't have that much pain because their cancers are much smaller.

Is it ok to alternate with Apple Cider Vinegar and I also have used sea salt and baking soda. I am so glad to have found this site with other like minded people. In Maria Treben's book "Health through God's Pharmacy" the chapter called "Advice for malignant diseases" contains a lot of information. Maybe you can find the book in a library.

The "Cancer cure" by Rudolf Breuss may be also a good inspiration.

I have a loved on with a cancer rare but their enzymes are very low.. My question to anyone that can answer how do you keep your enzymes to balance.

General Feedback
Posted by Timh (Louisville, Usa) on 12/13/2011 2063 posts

Carba, There's nothing more deadly to enzymes than acidic body (which also harbors cancer). Purchase PH strips and use sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) orally to get your PH slightly alkaline. Ted recommends bicarb and ACV effective for alkalizing. For immediate and powerful relief, take a very warm bath with 1/2 cup sodium bicarbonate and 1/2 cup epsom salt for at least 30 min.

Also, the numerous glands in the human body produce hormones & enzymes, so during illness or in aging, the glands lose some degree of function. Consume as directed herbal gland cleanser/stimulator, raw multiglandular, and digestive/systemic enzymes.

The book is called "The Gerson Therapy for Those Dying of Cancer" by Vance Ferrel and it is a fascinating read because it contains full-blown and detailed descriptions of all his anti-cancer protocols:

Nuts, beans and canker sores: Hi everyone. I researched that all nuts & beans must be rinsed 4-6 times in purified spring water or filtered oxygenated water and then soaked overnight. This releases the phytic acid and anti-enzyme (apparently almost all nuts and beans especially soya beans are anti-enzyme; which means they block our natural enzyme production - not sure How exactly; I think it blocks the natural digestive enzyme in our saliva). Use: rinse nuts again and then cook them before eating- about 5 mins. All commercial nuts have a coating of bacteria and mold - heating them was the only way I could eat them. This is how I eliminated the canker sore problem ( I actually also got sore throats too) lol

Love & Blessings :)

My husband has prostrate cancer and was helped by eating RAW CABBAGE!

His PSA number was 9. He read a study about rats with prostrate cancer that were helped or completely cured of prostrate cancer when given raw cabbage to eat.P> I made him a KFC type ColeSlaw and he ate it for 3 months almost everyday and when he took his next PSA test his PSA score was down to 6! From 9 to 6!

Or buy fresh coleslaw at KFC! They make it fresh everyday.

Hope4friends, I may be reiterating some recent post but I personaly believe that the use of Magnets or hemotite stones is critical in cancer theropy. My theory is that of all the conventional and alternative cancer theropies that do not work, they all have, ultimately an homogenous cause, and energy modalities should be used Firstly in order to remove the negative energy, inflammation, acidification, and god knows how many more "ations".

Some specialist are finding Near-Infared Light Theropy (topical or sauna) very helpful in detox & healing.

Also I have personaly witnessed good results with Leonard Horrowitze's theoretical Solffagio Harmonics. The 528 "Love" vibration supposedly the same vibration that is God's heartbeat is especially encouraged as it heals and reprograms damaged DNA. Also, I have only done a few of the Carlos Castaneda Tensegrity movements, but I do notice some slight immediate resuts especially the "Helping The Flow Of Immunity" (minor movement). Tensegrity is available in book or DVD format. Yoga and Meditation, yes.

Also, it seems rather obvious that Liver Support is critical in beating cancer as the Liver is such a vital organ. Colon and Gallbladder cleanses are, in turn, critical for Liver health (i know, I found out that hard way).

Lastly, CoQ10 or ubiguinone gets most of the rave in cellular energy and oxygenation, but I wouldn't rely on it alone. Also use the coenzymes Alpha Lipoic Acid and NADH.

Lastly again, there is much studies recommending the body's need for Methylation. Suppliment with the fallowing methyl donors vit-b12, Folic Acid, SAM-e, Betaine, DMG.

Baking Soda

I was listening tonight to Dr. Simoncini who has pioneered the sodium bicarb treatment for cancer. He stated that he does not know where the addition of sugar in any form such as molasses, maple syrup, etc. Came from & it has no scientific basis. He treats TUMORS by direct instillation or injection with a specific solution mix. He also states that alkalinity is not the purpose of the bicarb. Bicarb is antifungal. He states that the addition of sugars & the idea of destroying the cancer via alkalinity "is stupid". Simoncini had his licence suspended in Italy. His website is cancer fungus.com without the spaces. You can hear the interview on the 'Coast to Coast AM' site dated Sept. 28th, 2011, first hour. Please investigate rumors & sources before experimenting. If a remedy seems to work, report back on the long term effects, I. E. , does the condition return, etc. Diet & lifestyle are always key ingredients to health.

There are a good number of very strong alternatives to Dr. Simoncini baking soda treatment. If we do a google search for ["independent cancer research" and "strongest alternative"], we can see a lot information about some of them. Also, it's important to see how your progress is during the healing cycle. For this I would check into the Navarro urine test.

  • "NO fruit or fruit juices.
  • NO sweet drinks or sodas.
  • NO sugar or artificial sugars or sweeteners.
  • NO corn syrup or fructose.
  • NO carbonated water.
  • Plain water is always ok.
  • NO vegetable oils except coconut oil used in cooking.
  • NO fried foods.
  • NO calcium.
  • NO large meals consisting largely of meats"

Dietary Suggestions

I would stay away from simple carbs for sure. With cancer you definately want to eat alot of leafy greens or anything green really, berries, and citrus type foods. Stay away from breads, potatoes, anything white like flour and rice. Eat wild rice or brown rice if possible. Quinoa is probably another good grain that is healthy and a complex carb. I can't imagine what you are going through right now and I wish you good health and a swift recovery. Make sure you know what you put into your body. Read labels and if at all possible eat only whole foods. No processed ready made meals.

Dietary Suggestions
Posted by Debbie (Melbourne, Australia ) on 08/12/2011

I would juice lots of green vegetables.

Take chlorella and spirulina (I have the powdered kind in chlorophyl liquid)

Drink wheatgrass juice or take the powder (the juice contains laetrile which is anti cancer).

You could live on the above for a long time and get all your nutrients while you are detoxing your body.

Read the book "Excitotoxins, the Taste that kills" or watch the following video. Processed foods mostly have MSG in them and even some crops are being sprayed with MSG. MSG will cause cancer to ravage your body if it is in the right circumstances. It was written by a neurosurgeon.

As a suggestion not knowing what type of cancer.. I would get some cayenne capsules and take 500mg.. of the hottest variety you can get hold off. The reason being that it sends prostate cancer cells into suicide mode and its starting to look like it does it to other types as well.

Pre-Op
Posted by Judy (Denver, Colorado) on 08/10/2011
★★★★★

I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to lower high Hematocrit/Hemoglobin. I'm scheduled to have hysterectomy next Wednesday 17th because I have stage I endometrial cancer. Also went to kidney specialist few days after oncologist and gave him compr blood test taken at annual health fair and that shows high hema/hemo for last three years. He said to stop smoking at least two weeks prior to surgery or I could end up on a ventilator for a long time.

Had to go to my regular doc for pre-op blood tests two days later. I asked if they were going to check the H/H and she said the oncologist didn't ask for it. I told her what the kidney dr said and she said that can happen with young people (I'm 70) but high blood count might be a good thing, because I'm going to bleed during surgery. Told her I'd cut back smoking to 1/10th, but didn't see that was going to reduce high count much. She said it should go down quite a bit. (I hope this doesn't sound to eratic, but I'm getting very nervous about this surgery). I've also had to quit vit E because it thins the blood and three days later my lower legs hurt to bad I had a hard time walking.

This morning I got a call from a nurse telling me to come back for more blood work because the hematocrit is very high. They wouldn't tell me how high. In April it was 56.7. Normal is 35.0-49.0. Nine years ago I had D&C and it was high then and that dr said I could have a heart attack while under anesthesia. THAT is what's scaring me.

I am less afraid of ending up on a ventilator for awhile, or even of the cancer getting worse than I am of having a heart attack while on the table.

In the meantime I'm having second thoughts about the vit O I use. It tastes just like hydrogen peroxide. I use it because I have asthma and occasionally when air is bad I get short of breath and this alleviates it. But I'm wondering if that makes the red cell count worse or has any affect at all. Twenty years ago I was diagnosed asthmatic but I keep it under control with herbs and nutrients and this "O" is my "inhaler".

Right now I'm very confused. I'm thinking if I postpone surgery, quit smoking for good for about 1 or 2 months some of those blood cells would die off and I would be better off when I have surgery. I'm also diabetic. I've been juicing carrots and doing my best to follow some of the dietary things to eliminate cancer. My PH is about 6.4, occasionally higher but doubt that will change much because of the cancer.

I asked my doc if they could just take a pint of my blood before surgery because I've known people that live 2 miles high that have too many red cells and doctors take pint of blood every month or two and that helps to thin the blood and they go on for years without major problems. She said she'd never heard of it. Then if I bleed too much, they could give me my own blood back, instead of giving me someone elses. (Makes sense to me)

All the tests I've had, EKG, chest xray, ultrasounds, everything else is OK.

Anybody with any thoughts about this or even had this problem before surgery, I would really appreciate hearing them. Thanks

Two good movies about alternatives ways to treat cancers that big phama doesn't like.

-Rick Simpson • Medical Hemp • Run From The Cure
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imz16UhVixw

In the video above, "Run From the Cure - the Rick Simpson Story, " it's suggested that pharmaceutical companies and big business may be withholding a potential cancer cure -- hemp oil -- from the public in the interest of personal profit.

-Burzynski: Cancer Is Serious Business

http://vimeo.com/24821365

ABOUT THE FILM:

Burzynski, the Movie is the story of a medical doctor and Ph. D biochemist named Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski who won the largest, and possibly the most convoluted and intriguing legal battle against the Food & Drug Administration in American history.

His victorious battles with the United States government were centered around Dr. Burzynski's gene-targeted cancer medicines he discovered in the 1970's called Antineoplastons, which have currently completed Phase II FDA-supervised clinical trials in 2009 and could begin the final phase of FDA testing in 2011-barring the ability to raise the required $150 million to fund the final phase of FDA clinical trials.

When Antineoplastons are approved, it will mark the first time in history a single scientist, not a pharmaceutical company, will hold the exclusive patent and distribution rights on a paradigm-shifting medical breakthrough.

Antineoplastons are responsible for curing some of the most incurable forms of terminal cancer. Various cancer survivors are presented in the film who chose these medicines instead of surgery, chemotherapy or radiation - with full disclosure of medical records to support their diagnosis and recovery - as well as systematic (non-anecdotal) FDA-supervised clinical trial data comparing Antineoplastons to other available treatments—which is published within the peer-reviewed medical literature.

I haven't had the time to watch the movies yet but I read a book a while ago which was awfully interesting, called The Cancer Industry and which I think that I reviews on the book review page. It really puts things into a different prespective! It is an account of the many therapies that have been banned, including the use of Vit. C researched by twice Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling and how the cancer industry works. One can't help getting tears in one's eyes while reading that book while thinking about the suffering of loved ones (who hasn't lost someone to cancer! ) and the struggle of all those who wanted to contribute to diminish that suffering but instead ended up being persecuted in the name of money and big business! I often wonder how on earth things ever got to be this way, I really do! Only in a very evil planet.... Sorry! Or a planet with very evil people!

I put forward Andrew Weil's view on Burzynski to caution those with the belief that he has a cure.. Yes has helped some it seems but those are the voices that we are hearing... There are many... (just like chemo), that he hasn't helped, though charged a bundle! , try to look at the information objectively...

According to the movie - Doctor Burzynski has a cure rate of about 25% on INCURABLE brain cancers. Traditional treatment cure rate is about 1%.

He is not saying he can cure ALL cancer. His treatment has no side effects... where as chemo and radiation have massive and horrid side effects. I see no harm in allowing people to make their own choices on the treatment they would prefer.

Have you watched the Burzynski movie?

It is shocking that in this country the government spent 60 MILLION of our taxpayer dollars trying to shut this wonderful, and NOBLE man down. It makes my skin crawl.

The fact that they could not find any of Burzynski's patients that would file any complaints agains him speaks to his character and his practise. On the contrary - his patients showed up to support him at grand jury after grand jury - from all parts of the country, as they owed their lives to his treatment.

In my opinion ~ The FDA and the NCI should be criminally prosecuted for their actions.... what they did was and still is undeniably CRIMINAL.

Please, watch the movie (if you haven't yet - which I am assuming you have not by your statements) before you say more on the matter of Burzynski.

It will be free to watch here until midnight of June 20th:

http://www.burzynskimovie.com/

Just imagine how far research on a cure for ALL CANCERS could have been by now if the FDA had not spent so much time (and money) trying to shut down Dr. Burzynski, and if they had embraced and supported him instead.

I can come to only one conclusion - Our government does NOT want to find a cure for cancer. There is too much money in NOT finding a cure. (MO)

I am furious.

Very well said, Carly, I couldn't agree more!!!!! Dr. Burzynski and all the others, there have been great people totally committed towards helping all those who suffer with cancer but as you said..... Governments (not only yours, unfortunately, don't forget that the world is globalized... ) don't want the cure to be found, just as they don't want us to know that what they preach will only make us sicker and sicker. That is the way things are! It all makes me furious as well and I weep for those who have died and who suffer from cancer as I weep for their loved ones! I lost two of my grandparents and my mother to cancer as well as my mother-in-law and I saw my sister-in-law suffer from it (luckily that was many years ago and although she had two different kinds she is ok). When will things change?

If you have the opportunity please read The Cancer Industry, it is such an inspiring book...... It helps put the whole charade into perspective! Money speaks louder than health and happiness!

Very well said right back at you Francisca! :)

I agree ~ Dr. Pauling was a brilliant, brilliant man, and he was persecuted relentlessly as well.

The big pharma companies have too vested of an interest in keeping their patented cancer "therapies" (ha! ) up and running. If (God forbid! ) someone actually came up with anything resembling a cure - well, they would lose BILLIONS per year. Oh there is no humanity. These people will (I hope) have some price to pay, be it Karma, Hell, or whatever Diety is out there that makes the world go round.

But I digress, I am rambling... Sorry. ;)

It takes a special type of person to keep on perservering when all is against them for so many years. Dr. Burzynski went through so much. It is amazing he made it to the other side without having a stroke or a heart attack from the stress he was placed under for so very long. Talk about mental duress!

I will look for "The Cancer Industry" the next time I shop books online. It sounds very interesting.

Thanks, Carly :-)

Carly thanks for the information... So, with this particular type of brain cancer, Childhood Glioma, with a 1% conventional success rate... Burzynski might be worth a look into with his claimed.. 27%... (27% is not a cure, it is a success rate). Francisca... A little dissent is not complete dissent, I am getting the impression you would like to burn me at the stake and claim your curing my toe fungus... I respect Weil, not everything he says is written in stone, he is somewhat conservative in the alternative field and needs to be with such a following, and admits to error and often revises what he says in the face of new information. That quote he made back in 2006 perhaps he might revise it with new information. In the future we will most likely look back at chemo as barbaric though it has helped many and many it has failed..

Information

Hi Rob. I didn't know anyone wanted to burn you at the stake! Oh my - ;-)

Re the childhood glioma - If the cancer is gone for 5 years, I do believe that is in fact considered a "cure" rate.

Children who develop this particularily nasty type of cancer and receive the standard treatment are usually dead within 24 months as I understand it. ~Unless~ they are that lucky 1% and get to spend the rest of their lives deaf, with burned off ears and hair that will never gow back along stunted growth. Mind you, that wouldn't probably feel very lucky, and their quality of life would suck, but hey - they made the one percent!

I know that if it were my child, I would jump at the chance of a 27% cure rate with Dr. Burzynski over the standard protocol of chemo which disfigures, deafens, and basically tortures a child with this dreaded and deadly cancer for a 1% (actually I believe it was a little less than one percent, but why split hairs) success rate.

Chemo and radiation are therapies honed and developed back in the 1960's, 1970's and 1980's.... And they ARE barbaric in my opinion. By this time, there SHOULD have been something better to offer.

They make LOTS of $$$$$$$ though.

Just sayin.

Rob, you are entitled to your own opinions, that goes without saying! I don't claim to be in possession of the truth, I just try to get as much information as I can and then form my opinions! I wouldn't burn you at the stake.... I am not the violent kind! I was even planing to read a few books by Weil but right now I think that I will pass!

Anyway, as far as revising opinions, I believe that even Linus Pauling would have revised a few if he had lived a few more years! We have a certain opinion at a certain time which doesn't mean that we would have evolved in a very different way later on! To me, even a therapy which only cures a few percent of the people and maybe gives a better life to quite a few is worth trying because any lives saved with good quality of life are worth it, especially if it is a therapy with little or no side effects and there is nothing else available! The problem is that many of this therapies were never developed any further for lack of support and founds. Who knows where they would be right now if intead of having to fight heavy opposition the people concerned had got all the support they deserved? Think about that!

so getting back to the Burzynski movie... I've watched a good part and don't dispute what is shown but question it on what isn't shown.... Why don't they interview the 73% whom it didn't work for... But how could they because they're dead.. With around 30 to $60, 000 less to pass on to their loved ones.... The video is not objective but a slanted infomercial... Thus, I wouldn't put Burzy on a pedestal with the cure for cancer, however that said, I wouldn't rule him out, especially if I or someone has a terminal cancer for which his success rate might prove more successful than conventional approach... Though it would take more information than a sell video like this for me to make up my mind.... To this I add, Francisa what is your point? are you recommending everyone with cancer go visit Burzy and spend the $50 grand without question?

Hi Francisca -

I just ordered "The Cancer Industry" on Half (dot) com for under $ 8.99 delivered! It was $59.00 on Amazon and I would have had to pay sales tax. Wow! Very excited!

It will be shipped from the other side of the country via a thing we call "Media Mail" at book rate... (ie = CHEAP) so I don't expect it will be here for at least 10 days, maybe even longer.

I can't wait to read it - the synopsis looks very interesting. Thanks for the information on it. After I read it I will be sure to put in my. 02 cents! :-) Carly

Rob -

You say you have watched "a good part" of the Burzynski movie. Until you have watched the enire movie, there is no way you can have all of the information necessary to comment in an informed manner. (As your post shows to be true).

If I am reading what you are saying correctly, you are saying that if you had a child with a glioma brain cancer you would tell that child - sorry, your life is not worth 60k?

I would take a chance at the 25% Burzynski protocol offers over the 1% that the FDA meds give in a heartbeat. No hesitation.

Yes, I agree - a 25% CURE rate - 5 years cancer free - does mean that 75% would either be still alive with cancer or dead. This is simple math. Just as a 1% cure rate means that 99% would either still be alive with cancer or dead. It is silly to suggest that the Burzynski movie talk to dead people. They make no bones on what their numbers are at his clinic. His numbers are FAR superior to the standard protocol of chemo and radiations. You can't dispute the numbers.

Also - if the clinical trials for Dr. Burzynski were not sabotaged by the NCI perhaps by this time his protocols WOULD be standard practice and WOULD be covered by insurance.

The doctor HAS to charge for the medicine he is manufacturing. He is not running a free clinic - he would not be able to help anyone if he couldn't produce the medicine. You keep attempting to make it sound like he is a scam artist out to bilk people out of their money. This is simply incorrect.

I do, and will continue to put Doctor Burzynski up on a pedestal - a very, very high one. He is an amazing, brilliant scientist, who at great peril to his own well being continued to help people even when being mercelissly prosicuted by our government. That man is a saint in my opinion.

My hope is that you will watch the entire movie before you attempt to dispute anything I have just said. ~ Carly

Carly, .. Perhaps you could point out where I said a childs life is not worth 60k.... ?? You, make a good point about the need to cover costs... Still there is concern for those that have lost both their life and life savings and whether they have been taken advantage of in a desperate time. I repeat, that his therapy is worth looking into especially if the trials show a better success rate over conventional therapies... I may not share your enthusiasm but I am not in opposition either... Yes, I watched it all the way through... Compelling, yes, but made by a long time advertising director who knows how to make his emotional point, & as a documentary it is incomplete... I would have liked to have seen people from the FDA or NCI interviewed to get their opposing point... Also a few interviews from families whom it didn't work for, as well as some critics.... Aside from this the basic numbers are compelling. Most important.. Even at 15% over 0% (see Dr. Oz interview attached) it is reason enough for it to be supported and further researched..

Carly, Francisca.. I would like to add that you are right about Weil, that he's wrong on this one... If the numbers are correct and this seems to be the case Dr's should be advising their patients that his therapy is their best hope for these particular cancers... Especially if they are non toxic.. thus I apologize for my skeptecism...

Rob!!!!!

You gave up too easily. Francisca and I were not done with you yet. ;-) Thanks, and it is nice to see that you are an open minded individual. That is awesome, and I really appreciate your writing back.

Peace, and until we argue again, (ha ha)

Carly :-)

Yes, good for you Rob for being willing to keep an open mind. Personally, I stopped reading Dr. Weil quite awhile back because I found that he tended to sit on the fence on a lot of issues not wanting to rock his very big following in the "mainstream" audience. I prefer Dr. Mercola who will go right to the point and also Deepak Chopra. Dr. Mark Hyman is another who really goes to the heart of the matter on major issues that seem to plague many but there appears to be no answers for them by the medical field other than drugs to cover them up. Still, I understand that Dr. Weil serves a purpose- those deeply steeped in the mainstream medical world will listen to what he has to say thereby, allowing another point of view for them to consider.

Thanks Lisa, I undestand your position on Weil. His advice is mostly backed by clinical trials and epidemiology which is quite sound but leaves out cutting edge science like in the case of Burzynski and many others for whom testing is out of reach. That said, he still encourages mind body medicine which is difficult to measure. So Carly, he has come down from my pedestal a couple notches and Burzynski has gained a few...:)
