Natural Treatments for Cancer

Due to multiple food and gluten allergies, I've had a history of both constipation, and more recently chronic diarrhea. Psyllium capsules taken at night with a full glass of water, or between meals with a full glass of water has been a lifesaver. I find starting with 2 capsules a day of psyllium husk, then working up gradually by adding 1 or 2 capsules a day to a total of about 10 taken in divided doses of 2 or 3 at a time between meals with lots of water gives no symptoms of gas, bloating, or bad breath. After a week or two of this I usually back off to a small maintenaince dose of 3 capsules, which is about 2 grams of total additional fiber a day.

Unexpected side effects for me included the complete relief of menopausal type hormone flucuations and hot flashes because of the fact that the fiber binds to excess hormones like estrogen and escorts them safely out of the system before they can have side effects. For this reason I would recommend it to anyone who was suffering from hormone related cancers including prostate. It may also help in chemo therapy to bind to the toxins of the drugs that are used and to help remove dead cancer cells from the body. Also pysllium can be a lifesaver when a bout of food poisoning or flu occurs because it binds with the toxins that are the byproduct of the offending bad virus or bacterias. For ANY use of pysllium husks , make sure that after your body becomes healthy and regular, see if you can't wean down on the number of capsules you take by substituting high amounts of quality fruit and vegtables into your diet, then let your body have a complete pysllium break and see how you do. You may have fixed the problem. For some of us who are allergic to many grains we just can't get enough fiber into our normal diet and need to add a little extra. Another help has been to add additional enzymes like bromelain and papaya, to the diet to help properly break down foods and repair intestinal damage. It is important to note that pysllium is NOT a laxative and that your body does not develope a dependency on it, but it DOES bind to vitamins, minerals, and medicines so for that reason is best taken on an empty stomach at leaast 2 hours after food or medicine is ingested, and at least an hour before you eat again.

VERY IMPORTANT: Drink at least one extra 8 oz. glass of water for every 2 capsules taken!

Brad, my son, was diagnosed at 15 with stage 4 Hodgkins. We knew nothing of alternative cures nor were we offered anything but chemo and radiation. Brad went through both and it almost destroyed him. I forgot to mention on my 11-27-07 cancer cure that I posted what type of organic cottage cheese you should buy. You should buy the 1% or non-fat organic cheese to use in the cancer cure along with the organic flaxseed oil.

Follow-up on 11-27-07 flaxseed oil/cottage cheese cancer cure.When I first made this post I wasn't sure about how long the post should be so I didn't add the following: It is also important to stop eating foods that are unhealthy and that help to cause cancer especially partially hydrogenated oils(trans fats,) chemical preservatives, food dyes, aspartame and any other chemical sugar substitute, msg, public water(chlorine,) farmed-raised fish especially salmon, meats and poultry that have antibiotics and growth hormones, sugar, white flour, high fructose corn syrup, and Fast Food. Also stop using your microwave oven. Some foods to ADD to your diet would be as much organic food as you can afford especially broccoli and carrots(juicing carrots would be great,) nuts, beans, seeds, and of course other vegetables and fruits. Plenty of non-public water is also helpful. Spices such as garlic, ginger, and curry are excellemt. Finally, a colon cleanse is also beneficial.

How much of the flaxseed oil/cottage cheese blended mixture do most people try to have each day? Does the blended mixture stay well for a couple of days in the refrigerator?

I have never had cancer and don't want it. I have read all of Johanna Budwigs books and they are facinating. She recommends eating this mixture once a day as a preventative measure. I have been eating this once a day either for breakfast or as a desert and it is delicious! I would recommend that everyone look this up by following the link to the yahoo group that someone posted here.She also recommended saurkraut juice first thing in the a.m., which is why everyone is having great success with the acv, I believe. And sunlight, everyday. No sunscreen! You don't need to bake in it, just a healthy amount of sunshine. Light excercise like walking, is beneficial (if you are not too sick). And vegetables, vegetables, vegetables! Both raw and cooked. I eat about 8 ounces of protein (meat) a day because I feel better when i do, but I am a healthy person, if you are sick, no meat that includes fish. I recommend that people buy one of her books, the woman was brilliant! She was not only a scientist, but a pharmacist, doctor and more, because she needed first hand knowledge of these sectors. However trying to find a doctor who takes this seriously is like trying to extract hens teeth. I find that the medical fraternity is often a closed club and is not really interested in infomation from the "outside".especially if it comes from a patient. I am trying to piece together the treatment regimen in th ebook but am having no luck with the people named in the publication.

Feel free to email me for more detail, but in short, I used a Champion Juicer I bought in the 1970s (still working today) and a modified version of Gerson Therapy. I ordered the book from the Gerson Clinic directly, also used lots of flaxseed oil and supplements. Dr. Susan Day also has a wonderful website about her natural recovery from breast cancer. Response to Kay (Knoxville, TN) - Bladder Infecttion Remedy. I'd like to hear more about how you juiced your way back to health from cancer. Particularly the type of Juicer used and recipies for the most effective juices. I'm a cancer survivor and I'm always looking for ways to maintain my health and stay cancer-free forever.

I have learned that very few doctors are concerned with the patients' health, they are more interested in keeping you coming back constantly so they can pay for their expensive cars, homes, boats, etc. The ones who are concerned about the patient and try to help you, the AMA goes after in a big way, holler "Quack" and put them out of business as quickly & quietly as possible.

I mentioned to a co-worker several years back, about some people going to Greece & other countries for cancer treatment or cures that are unavailable here. She said "They're just going to take their money and leave them destitute". My reply was "M----, you can't be so naive that you think our doctors aren't doing the same thing. Of course, we aren't because we work at the VA and they don't have to pay for treatment here but the private sector is."

Cable TV aired a 2 hr. documentary back in the 60's titled "Hoxsey: Quacks Who Cure Cancer" which went into great detail about Hoxsey's herbal treatment which his grand-father came up with after watching a favorite mare that he turned out to pasture to die as peacefully as possible with her cancer. Instead she ate herself back to health, eating things that horse's normally don't eat. Yep, bloodroot was part of that treatment. When orthodox medicine tried to buy his formula/treatment method, he told them he would sell it to them but they had to agree to keep treatment cheap enough that people could afford it. He was told that they would charge what they wanted to after they bought it and he refused to sell. They promptly went after him for practicing medicine without a license and closed his cliniics. He let the nurse working with him have it and she has been treating cancer patients with it in TiaJuana, Mexico until her death in the last couple of years. I just hope the treatment didn't die with her. I think that documentary is still available through Project Hope, but they have changed its name (probably because the AMA was against it).

One part of that documentary that I especially loved was the little woman who told about telling her doctor she was going to see Hoxsey, to which he replied, "What for, he's just going to take all your money". Her reply: "Uhuh, they can't . You already did

I personally know 2 men (one is my husband's uncle) who had Hoxsey Treatment and are both cancer free now. I took my father to the clinic for advanced stage 4 lung cancer. The doctors and staff were incredibly kind and compassionate. When we returned home he did very well on the Hoxsey. We saw improvements in his motor skills right away, and yet his cancer was too advanced and he was still being given radiation treatments. He passed away 3 weeks from the day we took him to Mexico.

I would recommend this treatment to anyone. It is not expensive and the biggest obstacle is getting to the clinic, and sticking to the dietary restrictions.

My dad has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, high calcium levels and poorly functioning kidneys.

Can anyone share a story where this therapy has been successful on a similar case.

I am sorry to hear you have cancer. I love blackstrap molasses but i don't know that it is good for cancer. Perhaps you should look into red clover it can be found in natural health food stores it starves tumors of oxygen causing them to die. I hope this helps you. God bless.

Blood root can be toxic in larger doses. It has two different alkaloids and one of them belongs in the quinone family. Quinones were used to treat cancer by Dr. William Koch in the 20's, 30's, early 40's. Dr. Koch documented his individual cases carefully. It is no coincidence that blood root contains an oxygen donor. use cautiously! you're on the right track.

How much should a person ingest and did you use it daily? I have a large hard moveable lump in my armpit, getting my ultrasound restults tomorrow. I already had a cancer breast lump removed in MAY although I am chosing to do natural remedies. I have some bloodroot but have not started taking it. I have also ordered the salve. shark oil and honey cured a woman whose cancer had spread throughout her body and by taking the combination in equal parts the cancer disappeared. i know that ther are desperately ill people who are willing tp try anything. i hope i can be of help to someone out there.

I was just checking on cancer cures like I always do and decided to inform you of my latest health update. I wrote back in 07 for an 06 diagnosis of stage 0 breast cancer. I'm still fine as far as I know. Never went back for mammograms, still take plenty of vitamins, still slim and strong and turning 50 soon. I do slack off on certain things like drinking cod fish oil or drinking apple cider vinegar but always am keeping up with anything that is good. My 80 yr old father appears to have recurring lung cancer along with other serious things on his petscan and I was able to talk my parents into him not going for biopsy/radiation/chemotherapy. I've been pumping them up with alternative things like pure mangosteen juice, essiac, selenium, b complex (they're also going senile) lots of vitamin d even recently pure carrot juice and pure pomegranate juice. They're pretty good patients for my ideas even of course flax oil everyday, lots of bananas. Even before the lung cancer 3 yrs ago and chemo my father was slowly going downhill like being really depressed looking and sleepy or annoyed. I'm pretty sure I can't stop the dementia but I'm not giving up on them. I'm positive what I've been doing for them is working. My father the past few weeks is actually joking around again and I haven't seen him looking like he's at a funeral for a while now and he's even tapping his hands on his thighs which he used to always do when I was young. My father was always joking and happy. I'm glad he's not listening to the doctor which would kill him quicker with their "treatments". He's too fragile for that and luckily as ill as he is he's still in pretty good shape so far. His immune system is really strained but I'm sure how I'm helping is working it just takes time. He's got swollen lymph nodes, cyst on kidney, possible polyp on colon, enlarged prostate, two spots on lung and what most likely is bone cancer now. His voice is different which I believe is the chemo and all those xrays they took 3 yrs ago. However he feels okay other than being tired. No swollen body parts or conjestion. I'm going to demand his doc give him vitamin d 50,000 for a week. Even though his prognosis doesn't look good he is actually acting better so I do know it's working. I live close enough to check up on them often. I'll write in the future to talk about myself and father. The worse part really is his total forgetfulness which I really don't think can be helped but he has gotten his humor back.

Hi Barbara reporting in again. I began with acv back in Jan 2007 my post was in feb 2007. My bp is still doing great. No problems to report. I continue with acv twice a day everyday. I just wanted to say how happy I am to see so many new people taking control of there own heath and trying to remove man made meds from there lives. Learning how real food can cure! I wanted to share this info - My father had cancer of the bladder 5 years ago, had bladder removed is doing fine now, but last month he went for his 5th yearly check up, all the test they do! He went to his doctor to get results and after the great almighty doctor proclaimed him cancer free for the fifth year (a milestone for cancer survivors) my 73 year old father with macular degeneration of the eyes happened to notice the date on the page it was from last year 2006! He told the Dr and they could not find this years results (still waiting after 2 weeks). They make mistakes too! While I am grateful to the dedicated team of medical professionals who saved his life, one can't help but get a little ticked off when a mistake such as this is made. I just wanted to let you folks know that I have 2 grown daughters who in the last few years have been having boil problems. They have had to go to the doctor and have them lanced. I have a problem with my right leg that turned into a staph infection. I have an awful scar left there now. My oldest daughter swears there is something wrong with our water here. Cancer is like an epidemic here, my Grandfather died from cancer, my Dad has bladder cancer, my Mom has outbreaks of facial skin cancer and was diagnosed with Lupus last summer. My oldest daughter has had breast cancer twice (first time at age 26), she is now 31. My son-in-law moved here from New Mexico 5 years ago and he just had surgery for testicular cancer. There are many people in this town I know of who have died from cancer here. I am so glad I came across this website. I have already tried Ted's Borax remedy on my dogs and am amazed!! 2 days and the itching is almost completely stopped!
