I suffered for years before I found an herb called Kacip Fatimah. My sister and I both suffered from BV for so long that the clinic that we went to refused to keep treating us. Can you believe that! ?! ? Well I don't remember how I came upon the herb Kacip Fatimah and it's kind of hard to get (I order mine from another country). But that one bottle is literally a life saver! Anytime I feel a little strange down south I take a pill. It's also good for urinary prolapse which I think is what led me to the herb in the first place after giving birth to my daughter. It was then that I realized that I hadnt had BV in a while. I should've come to this site to tell you guys about these cures. I've used Earth Clinic for years and I just feel compelled to share my cures. I hope they work for you like they did for me.

Try to google oak galls.

"Oak galls" (manjakani in the Malay language) come from oak trees indigenous to Asia Minor and Persia. They are produced when the leaves of the oak tree (scientifically known as Quercus infectoria) are penetrated by stinging wasps. The spontaneous chemical reaction caused by the penetration stimulates the leaves to produce a roundish hard ball called an oak gall.

Rich in tannins, vitamins A and C, calcium, iron, tannic and gallic acids, fibre, protein and carbohydrates, oak galls possess a unique kind of astringency which acts to restore health, tone and vigor in the vagina. Well-known since ancient times, Arabs, Persians, Indians, Chinese and Malays have traditionally used oak galls after childbirth, and to treat vaginal discharge and related infections.

Bacterial Vaginosis.

Oak Gall, specifically a brand from Malaysia called Kzanah Manjakani Sarapat Plus pills, taken AFTER antibiotics have helped many women as well as myself. I don't know if it's the tannins in it, or what properties attribute to it's success, but most of us have taken prescriptions to assist in this issue only to have the BV symptoms to return. But now, with these pills there are no reoccurring symptoms. We take 2 tiny pills three times a day.

EC: Looks like that herbal formula is manufactured in Indonesia, not Malaysia.

"Ingredients:
Gambir - a powerful astringent that consists mainly of antioxidants catechin and catechutannic acid. Useful for arresting excessive mucous discharges.

Daun Jarak - used as an antihelminthic and purgative, to help improve bowel movement.

Akar Sarapat - as the name depicts, sarapat means "tighten" in the Malay Language. Commonly used in healing wounds and treating women with childbirth and birth-related injuries. Also used for the contraction of vaginal muscle and uterus.

Kunyit (Tumeric) - beneficial for hemorrhages, irregular menstruation and liver problems. Also prescribed for women after childbirth to stimulate and promote blood circulation. Very strong antioxidant to promote overall health and great skin!"
