The Health Benefits of DMSO: What You Need to Know

I have been using and recommending DMSO for many years! It cured my arthritis, and has cured three people I know of cancer! Yes, even stage four cancer! DMSO is a miracle drug! I do not recommend drug to be taken for preventative reasons, but I think DMSO can even help to clean the arteries and heal the heart, as I have also lived with an irregular heartbeat all my life but I've noticed that after taking the DMSO for my arthritis my constant irregular heartbeat has also vanished and now only once in a while feel my heart out of rhythm and even them not as pronounced as before!

I've been an herbalist most of my life and DMSO and wild lettuce have impressed me more than anything else!

I have done tons of research and just completed reading three books on the DMSO subject.

99.9% is sold in feed stores for use on animals, and 99.995% is sold as pharmacy grade - difference is that the purer grade has been sent through an additional charcoal filtering to remove any tiny contaminates that may remain after processing. Amazon sells the purest 99.995 grade very reasonable.

One of the most recommended ways to apply is with a natural bristle paint brush, or organic cotton balls. Never use water to mix with unless it is distilled water, otherwise what ever may be in the water will be also pulled into your skin; anything you mix with DMSO will be pulled into the skin and below. It is a very safe product if you use properly and very beneficial to many aches and pains.

Don't cover the application if you use it anywhere above the waist and dilute it further than any mixture you use below the waist. You may cover it if used below the waste but use clean white cotton material or towels so that the dye from the material is not also sucked through you skin. An application can be wiped off after 30 minutes as that is the longest it takes to absorb the benefits.

Always make sure your skin in very clean and dry before using. Never rub it on with your hand - it can cause skin irritation in that spot and if left on the palms of your hands, will also look like they've been soaked in water for hours. The skin will most likely turn a reddish color for a short period of time as the circulation is stepped up but will go away very soon. Slight itching may happen but do not itch it. It will stop soon. Not all experience these side affects but a lot do.

DMSO helps with so many issues. Yet I think that there are a few things to do to really give it optimal effectiveness.

First is eliminations

Vegetable oils use butter or coconut oil only. This helps your digestion and helps your liver function.

Gluten, GMO, all grains if you can. This will get rid of pain to an extent, help you digest and absorb nutrients optimally.

Aspartame: It is poison to the body, stopping it will reduce pain. If you put it near insects they will not eat it.

Fluoride in water and anything you buy. It is a neurotoxin. I had lost all of my brain abilities. Could not drive. Think. Read. I was laying on cement in my basement waiting to die. I managed to look up Ted's remedies here on Earth Clinic. I took 1/8 tsp of 20 mule team borax in a liter of water. Drank that in bits in beverages through the day. My mind began to work. My pain began to diminish. 4 days out of 7. It displaces the fluoride with healing boron. Balances hormones disrupted by envirornmental toxins. For men it is 1/4 tsp of borax in 1 liter of water.

Aluminum: this gathers up in the brain and stops it from functioning. The best detoxifier is borax. And 1 lime squeezed in a glass. 6 to 8 tsp.Add 1/2 tsp baking soda. Let fizz. Add 1/2 glass of water. Drink 2x a day. 1/2 hour after food. 5 days out of 7.

Calcium supplements or excess calcium. This causes joint pain. Circulation problems. The lime drink above removes excess calcium from circulation. Improves digestion. Keeps cortisol, overnight from jumping all over. Improves stages of sleep, helps optimize function of gallbladder, pancreas, kidney and bladder.

Table salt...use sea salt. It has all the trace minerals in their correct forms and amounts to run the body.

Sugar

No lo fat or sugar free foods

Chlorine...in the tub chlorine steam can affect the heart. Use fish tank dechlorinator. Chlorine filter in kitchen.

Pain relief.

Epsom bath. 1/2 the ingredients for foot soak. 2 cups Epsom

1 cup borax

1 capful fish tank dechlorinator

1 cup hydrogen peroxide to oxygenate the body

Soak 20 minutes minimum. As often as you can.

Magnesium. Supplements 250 mg 2x a day. Mag citrate for constipated types. Mag malate for runny stool types.

Magnesium oil. Buy magnesium flakes. Online supplement shops etc. 60% flakes in a mason jar. Add 40% spring water. Let stand 1 hour. Cap and shake. This you can put in spray bottle and spray sore areas. Put some on feet at bedtime to get it through entire body. Your body uses magnesium from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. It may sting, add more mag oil..or water..or castor oil to stop stinging until your levels rise. Once adequate it no longer stings.

Castor oil pack. A folded piece of flannel to fit treatment area. Into a ziploc. Add enough castor oil to saturate the cloth in bag. Use bag to squeeze out excess, while pulling it out. Add mag oil. Then add DMSO. Apply to painful area, lay on an old towel, add saran wrap, add a heating pad on medium. 20 minutes or longer. As often as you wish.

DMSO the area must be clean before applying as DMSO carries everything through the skin to target areas.

KATZIE, ORH here and think you are on the right track about DMSO. I know you should wash your hands before because the solvent will take everything into your body. But I do not wash my hands afterwards because the residue will help your hand joints. I have read several books on DMSO, but something happens to your mind with age. I read my posts these days and wonder who that idiot is? He is me. That is the reason I have no ill will toward D when she flushs me. I needed flushed. Guess, I come and go. What is spooking me now is the illuminati. My research tells me that what we are going through now was planned hundreds of years ago. It has gone too far and now we are at the dog eat dog stage. Hi Dee...I think that it is perhaps a little misleading to say that DMSO will carry 'anything' through the skin.

Here is comment from Dr Stanley Jacob who has been researching with DMSO since the 1960s. He is the guru on DMSO use:

"Rumors of DMSO's ability to transport chemicals through the skin have been greatly exaggerated. DMSO will carry a minimal amount of other chemicals with a molecular weight of less than 1000 but will not carry bacteria or viruses."

Regarding "Industrial" DMSO vs "Medical grade." Several years ago I was interested in DMSO and did quite a bit of research on this stuff. It is truly a wonder product, but I was concerned about the 'purity' thing. So I contacted the company that makes DMSO and asked them about it. This is what they told me. Dmso is Dmso, period. There is no 'medical grade' or 'industrial' grade. It is all the same. DMSO is Dimethyl sulfoxide period. The only difference is how much distilled water is mixed with it. If it is 70% DMSO that just means it has been mixed with 30% distilled water. If it is 99% pure, it means it was mixed with 1% distilled water. If it says 99.9% pure, it has no measurable distilled water mixed with it. PERIOD> So when you read on the internet that 'their' product is "more pure" than anyone elses, you're being "taken". I've seen ads stating that "Our product is only 'Medical grade'" to justify charging as much as 38.00 per bottle!! ? This is ridiculous! I buy my bottle of DMSO at our FEED and SEED store for 7.50!! It is 99% pure and I have been using for years! So don't be taken to the cleaners over this stuff. Do your own research.!!!

JAMAL,,,,,,, first, a chemical compound is a chemical compound regardless of how it produced. The caveat is purity from the the process and I have confidence in the Jacob Lab people. The other thing is that the only DMSO produced in the paper industry was at the Old Bogalusa mill and it is closed. So, I don't think you have an option here in the U.S. I don't know about the rest of the world.

Folks post on DMSO full time about penny annie ails. What some may not know is that this compound can be a life saver, but you will almost have go it on your own. Hulda Clark was run out of the U.S. and had to practice in Mexico until her death. She is idolized in Germany and they are going whole hog with her radical protocols. I am learning that from the PEMF book that I am now reading. I have health issues that I dare not allow the Allopathic's get involved except to get me the test's that I need and keep score with. For that I use a Nurse Practitioner. I have have been to Mayo's twice for physicals, UAB and Scott White in Texas. They too put their britches on one leg at a time.

I have cancer in my blood, prostate and pancreas. It is monitored quarterly with a $85 DNA test. I use the integrative doctor for counsel, but I hoe my own row. I doubt that any Oncologist test would tell them that I have Stage l cancer. I am using my own immune system to address my cancer. I just wanted to state that I read a thread about some people in Australia taking a few drops of pure DMSO in a glass of purified water daily and decided to try it. I have pain from soft tissue damage from a few injuries and thought it might help. What I did not expect was that my cronic stuffy nasal passages from allergies would almost instantly clear! The first day it happened I did not attribute it to the DMSO but now after four straight days of being able to breathe fully within minutes of taking it; it is now clear there is no doubt. I have ordered the book recommended here and will see what else I can expect.

DMSO for Plantar Fasciitis

I used DMSO on my friend's feet, with a thin layer of Castor Oil first, and then 3 drops of straight liquid DMSO, on each. He felt so much better after just 1 treatment! We are continuing this treatment. While doing a deep dive into how DMSO heals so efficiently, I found a study that said it heals by correcting the DNA back to what it's supposed to be doing, in whatever body part is sore. Longtime DMSO user here.

I personally use mine on sore body parts straight. First I put on a thin layer of castor oil (to protect the skin), then I use an eye dropper to measure, and so I know my starting dose. Eg. for my two crushed discs I started with 7 drops per side. Leave the area uncovered for 20 mins, then get dressed again.

How I take it internally:

I typically use only 1/4 tsp of it 1x day. It's a solvent so it wants into your tissues, fast! So it's disconcerting to start to drink it, swallow, but there's nothing left cause it was already absorbed in the back of your throat!

As time goes on DMSO will actually heal you! And you will need less and less. If you don't want to fuss with castor oil, you could dilute the DMSO with distilled water, to a level of 50/50, and apply it that way. I was telling a friend of my crushed disc protocol, that I started 3 yrs ago and gradually cycled down as I healed when I realized I hadn't put any on my back in 2 months! So remember, you're not treating, you'll actually be healing. Best of luck on your healing!

I got a sore throat and applied iodine to my neck glands on the outside of my neck then for good measure I applied some DMSO to drive it in. I noticed to within minutes the mucus got thin and runny and greatly relieved the congestion. This is a great find for me as decongestant are meant to be very useful in Lipedema. I experienced DMSO as a powerful decongestant.

Drinking DMSO for mental clarity following COVID and strokes

I have had two fascinating experiences with drinking 1 tsp of DMSO daily following a case of what some might think is or call "long COVID". My experience was such that I became very ill this past year for nearly two months. It was essentially pneumonia, but had a lot of other symptoms associated therewith that made it feel much worse than a lung problem. Thought I was going to die with this, but I managed to naturally cure myself.

I found myself mentally clouded and having terrible trouble with recall (I was normally exceptionally fast and higher end on the IQ range) which has been a death sentence for my work. After a lot of desperate trials of various things I stumbled upon oral DMSO consumption for brain damage patients.

I really didn't have much else to lose at this point due to my recall necessity, so I gave it a shot. I'm about a month in of taking 1 tsp of DMSO a day with about a glass of distilled water and I have been amazed at the results.

I believe I'm at about 90% of where I was before and perhaps, in some ways, better than prior to falling ill. I think my middle aged mind is closer to performance of about 15 years ago at this point. I'm not perfect in recall as I was, but I'm at about 90% as I said. The ways in which I'm better is that I'm feeling more alertness than I did before.

The next thing to report is that a loved one who has experienced brain damage from a series of strokes seems to be improving finally after being also desperate and trying many "medical" options. The problem with one misstatement of fact is that it travels around the world in a split second. I recommend reading DMSO the persecuted drug, before making statements like DMSO causes sterility in humans. Either you have not done any research or somebody told you something and instead of checking it out and confirming or disproving, you just posted it. In law a perjured person is a person who has spoken a lie, whether or not intentional does not matter. Now, are you speaking that you personally have been sterilized and the blood tests have come back that DMSO did that to you? My warning is not about DMSO, which I use and recommend. My warning is about listening to Clark about leaving cats outside. Stop the witch hunt on cats and stay on subject. DMSO. Cats have nothing to do with DMSO. Totally not related. Cats are not parasite givers. USE DMSO, ignore Clark's advise about indoor cats... not related at all.

Regarding DMSO, I have used it both internally and externally for years with what I feel are very good results. I take 1 tsp of the 99.9% pure liquid every morning along with cider vinegar and H2O2 in a glass of water. Since I've been doing this, I can get out of bed in the morning, stand up straight and walk like a normal person. I also use DMSO / aloe vera gel for aches and pains from arthritis. I am 75 and have peripheral neuropathy due to agent orange in Vietnam, and DMSO gel is also a big pain reliever for my achy feet and hands.

You can buy both products on Amazon, but I found the pure liquid is cheaper at " Pet Meds". The gel is 70% DMSO and 30% aloe. From all I've read, and that's quite a lot, it is more effective at the 70 / 30 ratio when applied toppically.

If you want to learn more about DMSO, there is a good but short book available online from "HOOPLA". I don't remember the authors name, but the book is, "What Doctors Need to Know about DMSO."

At present time, I am also using it topically to treat my 'shingles', and it is working unbelievably well. I simply apply the gel several times a day. It has stopped the spread and kept the rash to limited space, as well as reducing pain.

I have used DMSO for a number of years for arthritis (knees) but now, 93, I have had a heart valve replacement and am on blood thinner...Elequis...and need to know if it is safe to use DMSO on my back for stenosis when I now take blood thinner?

Because DMSO carries substances into your skin you have to be careful about what you apply it with. I would never use a plastic roller as I do not want the chemicals from the plastic in my system. I also would not use my hands to apply it because if there is any DMSO left on your hands even after washing, then everything you handle with your hands all day long will be absorbed as well. I use a small glass bottle or jar to apply it! I just put a small amount on the outside of the jar and use the jar to rub it into my skin. Then I wash the outside of the jar with a pure soap and water and reuse it for next time. I am trying to think of something better that is made of glass such as a glass pestle or something.
