Restless Leg Syndrome

Hi, there is a cure for restless leg syndrome, and it comes in the form of BLACK STRAP MOLASSES. While using BSM for I discovered that my restless leg syndrome stopped completely, as long as I use it daily. I have suffered for years with this condition, family members, my dad , brother and aunt have it so hereditary I am sure and from what I read there are plently of pills doctors will prescribe for you, but for me natural is the only way to go. I take 1 tablespoon a day of BSM, I use it to manage my female issues and PMS, and heavy bleeding, that now is cut in half, and the happy side affect to that regimine was the cure for my restless leg syndrome, which caused so much pain, and movement just to fall asleep. I have to say that this website has given me my life back in a way that is a miracle. No pills for me if I can ever help it. I look up a syndrome, or condition and more then likely I find it here and I try it and or apply it to my own life and see how it goes. So far so good. I believe that we know ourselves better then any doctor ever could. This website could be the very thing that saves your life. I mean more and more on tv to radio I see and hear more and more about restless leg syndrome and companies promoting more and more medicines for the syndrome so they can make money, if they did research like I did online they would see the cure right in front of them, it comes up in my search right away. Simple and inexspensive and it doesn't hurt the body in other ways. I get frustrated just seeing commercials trying to get people to take there drugs. Anyhow, BSM 1 tablespoon a day has cured my RLS and I am forever grateful. I do my best to promote this site to friends and family and I know they get tired of listening to me sometimes, but thats OK! The truth here for me is a miracle so passing it along is just what we're supposed to do. In the right kind of world. Thanks a million to all have written here.

I have been anemic all my life. When I decided to change my eating habits and study herbalism, I came across a book that talked about how black strap molasses could shrink tumors and how high it was in iron. I use to have the ice cravings but no more. For the first time in my life I am not anemic. My mother was very surprised and has started using the product for herself. It works! I am living proof; if you're anemic, take 1 tablespoon each morning in a half cup of warm water and it will do the trick! Nature is a wonderful thing!

2 tablespoons of blackstrap molasses cured gray hair. ENERGY BOOST. It took several months, but my gray hair along my hairline has begun to turn brown! IT WORKS! It's also a great energy boost. I'm a 40 year old female who weighs 120, and I leap out of bed. No aches; no pain. I have no health complaints because I use the following on a daily basis: blackstrap molasses, apple cider vinegar, yerba mate tea, cayenne pepper, cod liver oil, and MUCH PRAYER.

Arrhythmia

I was low on potassium, and having heart arrhythmia because of it. 1 tbs each morning, and occasionally another tsp in the early evening keeps it away!

Meron, I am guessing it's one of those flavors that some automatically like and others cannot stand (and all areas in between). The first time I had a tbsp. of BSM I was amazed at the flavor...and then instead of taking a tbsp. when I dosed with it I just drank it straight from the little bottle I bought; I LOVE the flavor of BSM.

I take a tblsp of blackstrap in the morning and "chase it" with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, with the mother in it, with 3 tablespoons of warm water. In 1994, I was diagnosed with metatastic breast cancer at the age of 53. I had my femur replaced, took 10 radiation treatments and 6months of chemo. I have been on this regimen and KNOW that these things are from GOD made ingredients and, therefore, have kept me well. I have always been a borderline anemic. My blood counts are better than they have EVER been in my entire life. I believe if I had been doing these things for myself BEFORE I got cancer that I would NOT have had cancer in the first place.

I would stick with it because it will likely pass. I am almost the same age as you and was never acne-prone, not even in my youth. I don't think I've had even one random pimple in over 20 years.

About two or three days into taking BSM, I woke to find a small whitehead on my cheek. I thought 'What the... ?? A ZIT??' Then it hit me - molasses. :)

That was close to a year ago. I've never had one since.

Yes indeed. I have been taking BSM for approx a week, and have noticed considerably less pain in my lower back and hip joints. I will continue taking BSM, approx 2 desertspoons per day. In addition, I mix 2 desertspoons of ACV with a litre of water and sip on that through the day. Something is working for me.

Gray Hair

BSM is as I understand, quite an excellent product but if you looking for something to slow " grey hair" you will need Biotin or Vitamin H .. My mum used to read books by Gaylord Hauser a very forward thinking nutritionist in Australia in the 70's and as a result of that study, started eating raw wheatgerm with skim milk and once a week would add a raw egg.. That would be her breakfast for over 25 yrs! She will turn 90 next year and her hair has only started to go grey in the last 10 yrs.(. She is currently in a nursing home and my family would like her to be deemed as a dementia patient, but all her bone density tests have been 110% and her mental facilities are the same. In fact in her hospice she is only one of 3 patients who does not have dementia ... What does that say about our eating habits?) A Professor from one of the teaching hospitals in Sydney spoke to her one day about her lack of grey hair and asked her about her early diet.. And he told her that the wheatgerm contained significant amounts of Biotin which prevents the hair from going grey .. It would interesting to see the correlation between wheatgerm and BSM? Thanks .. Low Iron Count

When my mother suffered from low iron and had to take many iron tablets they were not much help. We were told it was not anaemia. She had to have blood transfusions. She remembered an old chemist telling her that molasses ( Blackstrap) together with half an asprin was the best heart medicine. She started taking blackstrap ( not desulphered) raw molasses. It helped her more than anything. I guess you would have to be careful if you were diabetic though. We also noticed that's for her stress levels dropped then her iron count did not go down so fast. Maybe the vitamin B12 in the molasses also has something to do with that.

I think that molasses has helped my anemia quite a bit. I mix 1 tbs. peanut butter, a little chocolate syrup and 1 tbs. molasses in a small dessert type dish and microwave for about 15-18 seconds, stir well and ENJOY!!! Tastes great and gives you a bit of a lift.

Looks like your meat free and fat free diet is not working for you, which is no surprise really as there is so much quality nutrition in those foods, particularly if organic.

I have been in severe pain with a pedunculated fibroid for 2 months. I got this post menopause. I found out if you lose alot of weight quickly this can happen. I was exhausted and having restless leg problem also. I took the molasses for one day and actually slept restfully. Woke up and first time no pain. My stomach also softened up and went down quite a bit. The taste is a bit heavy for me but I decided its worth it. I'm going to use my mini ice cube tray and see if I can freeze it and drink it in my water. Thanks to all who posted their stories. God Bless!!

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

I tried BSM for the first time last week. Had a terrible experience, thought it tasted awful anyway I tried it; coffee, milk, oatmeal, made it into a fudge with cocoa powder, coconut oil, coconut macca, cinnamon, and agave. Although the fudge was actually decent tasting. Anways, my face completely broke out and my eczema was out of control all last week. Suddenly today, one full week after starting on one tblspn per day, my skin is clear and no more itching. So I'm glad I've stuck with it. I am now forcing myself to drink it straight from the spoon with some warm water right after to take away the taste. I'm slowly getting used to the taste but can't imagine I'll ever like it.

In the early seventies I read a book by Dr Linus Pauling about Vit. C .and at the time I tried steam and or aspirin for the pain. I started taking 500 units of vit .C in the morning before work and them in the evening every day until I started to feel better.I up it to a couple thousand units every day and instead of getting a sinus infection every couple of months it would be every 6 months and it finally went away completely.I haven'y had a sinus infection in 40 years..I still take Vit. C nearly every day..Marilyn_TYG

My 22 month old was diagnosed as being anemic because of low iron count last month his iron count was 10pts the average is 12pts or higher. We had already been giving him high iron food and a vitamin with iron in it and nothing would bring the count up. The pediatrician gave us an iron drop supplement to give him, i didnt feel comfortable giving it to him because of all the side effects. Someone told me to try black strap molasses because it was high in iron. So i gave it a try and in 3 weeks his iron count went from 10pts to 14pts!!! We just gave it to him in his soymilk bottle.

ok - i am amazed. after reading about molasses here and remembering my great grandma feeding it to us on biscuits; i knew i HAD to have some and ASAP. well, i got some yesterday and immediately tasted it when i got in the car. i could barely restrain myself from drinking the whole bottle. i positively NEED this stuff. why was i NOT using it before? how had i forgot? weird. already i feel better. i have only had about 1 tablespoon since i got it - but my long time constipation is already better today! originally i got it with the idea to feed it to my pet rat sookie who just isn't thriving. she shows NO interest in it really - but for me i can tell i need it. btw - i am diabetic and was (B-12) anemic when i was younger.

Molasses also helped my depression. 1 TB per day. I always try to "fix" my health problems with natural things. I have tried sooo many things through the years for different health concerns and most of the time I didn't notice any difference. I started the molasses and I believe I felt better the first day. I am happier, more positve, have more energy, I'm motivated to do things. I have hope once again.

Ana: Organic Blackstrap Molasses doesn't have " few" minerals/ nutrients, but a lot. It is VERY high in Potassium in the organic BSM, to the tune of 730 mg per Tbsp. , compared to 110-210 in its non-organic competitors. See their back labels, it's right there. It is also rich in Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Copper, Selenium, Manganese, and other nutrients. Your "fav dude" you referenced is wrong on other things as well. It is a wealth. Folic Acid, another B vitamin, is great at growing new, more hair if taken for at least a few months in higher quantities.

I have diabetes and have been taking blackstrap molasses since Dec 7. It is too soon to say that it has affected by sugar levels., I think it has. What it has done is provided me with so much more energy, I am so grateful to again have energy to do things that I like and even don't like. I was so tired I didn't even wash my dishes on a daily basis, I wash them, I garden, I don't take long daytime naps. My sugar cravings have been reduced, I recommend everyone take some, even just a little a day

I also have thalassemia. Most doctors do not know the difference between iron poor blood and thalassemia when seen microscopically. A special test for thalassemia is required. Fortunately, my general doctor sent me to a hematologist to find the cause of my anemia.

Several years later I became pregnant. I went to "the best" obgyn clinic in a nearby city. I told them about my thalassemia and they ignored me. I saw four doctors there who all prescribed iron supplements. I repeatedly told them to research thalassemia, and I even mailed them material on the subject, still they ignored me.

I refused to take the extra iron. If I had not known better, these doctors could have caused my unborn son and myself serious health health issues such as heart damage. At age three, my son was also diagnosed with anemia. His pediatrician -- "the best in town" -- insisted I put him on iron supplements, even after I told him my son might have thalassemia. I refused and insisted he prescribe a thalassemia test at the nearby hospital. The doctor reluctantly agreed. The test showed my son also has thalassemia.

Blackstrap molasses isn't high in iron like red meat or iron pills. It's similar to spinach.

The difference is that BSM has fulvic and humic acids from the soil that helps plants and animals better absorb and retain minerals, like iron. Thus, this warning isn't needed.

Supplementing my diet with molasses has decreased my acne about 97% in two weeks. I take two tablespoons when I wake up in the morning, and two before I go to bed at night. It eases digestive problems, so if your acne is related to constipation, it's a sure-fire bet. It also supplements you with minerals such as Chromium, which about 90% of Americans are deficient in.

Hello Jules,

When I think I need Blackstrap Molasses, I take a tablespoon a day. I have to drink water immediately to wash it down! Some people warm a cup of water and dissolve the BSM in that and drink like a tea.

"By the way, molasses is a superfood indeed. They start with a field of plants, remove the water, fiber, sugar, and what's left is concentrated organic minerals! "

Again, with all due respect, this is simply incorrect information that can be confirmed by doing a simple google search. The water, sugar, and even small amounts of fiber aren't "removed" -- molasses has a moderate sugar content and thus a glycemic index of 55, compared to say, meat, which has a glycemic index of 0.

While the sugar content is less than 'sugar', it's definitely in there.

MARILYN,,,,,,, I'm sure you are aware that molasses and Black Strap Molasses are two different syrups. The Black Strap Molasses has gone through 3 different boilings and contains a far greater amount of nutrients, especially iron.

My PT instructor was not aware of that. She is low on iron, but the prescription causes her stomach pain. Thus, she did did not address her deficiency until I told her about BSM.

I think some of this site did not realize the difference in molasses and BSM.
