Coughs

The past two winters I suffered from a cold that then turned into months and months of persistent coughing and more coughing. I started another cold three weeks ago and have been coughing just as I have in the past. Today I read about Bill Munro and using a nasal spray bottle to inhale hydrogen peroxide I have to say Thank You Thank You. So at lunch I went and bought both, wash the bottle out and started inhaling the hydrogen peroxide... the tickle immediately disappeared, and the cough has subsided greatly and has seemed to almost disappear in some instances as I have had stopped talking when I didn't have to as it produced more coughing. So again Thank You Earth Clinic and Thank You Bill Munro.

Hi Anthony from Durban,
Where do you buy 35% H2O2? I've tried several shops and they tell me the foodstuff one is not available in South Africa. Even phoned the manufactured of the other H2O2 products and they confirm that it's not available in SA.

There is one question regarding 35% Food grade H2O2 I would like to know?
I mix 35% with distilled water 11 to 1 and store it in a Plastic spray bottle in my bathroom which is cool. This container is the type you would buy from your local hardware store to mix weed killer etc. My concern is that the plastic may contain toxins which could leech into and may contaminate the H2O2? I know glass is pure and clean?

My wife (62) and I (61) have been taking H2O2 since 1998. I brush my teeth every third day with a 50ml distilled water and 20 drops 35% food grade H2O2.
We both orally drink 25ml with 10 drops 35% FG H2O2 each in the morning half an hour before we have our coffee. Oxygen gives life.

This is a question for Peggy from Atoka: can you please describe in greater detail how you treated your histoplasmosis? In particular, how did it go with H2O2? What grade did you use? You mention ACV and baking soda; how did you use these? I am struggling with a fungus in my lungs; nothing seems to work. Thank you!

I would be really cautious about using peroxide internally since your body continually uses anti-oxidants to quench the peroxides it makes to kill bacteria. If you are on medication inform your doctor of what you are using so he can adjust your medication. Fig leaf, bay leaf, geranium leaf, pelargoneum leaf and cinnamon all inhibit the absorbtion of sugar. Gymnema sylvestre is an indian herb that also does the same. I have reactive hypoglycemia, so that I get too high then too low blood sugar when I eat high carb foods. I find 1-2 tsp of crumbled dry fig leaves in a tea, and using cinnamon or garam masala on my cereal keeps me from reacting to the carbs in the cereal. I have lots of fig trees so that's cheapest for me. Also get a glycemic index to mostly avoid high glycemic foods like potatoes unless mixed with high fiber or high protein in the meal.

Inhaling H202 cured my kids coughs.
My family got the swine flu at the end of August. For 6 weeks we passed that thing around each of us getting it more than once. One son had it for 3 days each week for 4 weeks and one ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. We all got over the fever fine, but 4 were left with nasty coughs that just wouldn't quit. I tried AVC, but my kids hated it so much that they wouldn't drink it consistently, so I bought a nebulizer online and used half drugstore H202 (1-2 ml) and half water (1-2 ml) in the medicine cup. I had them each inhale for about 10 minutes 2 times per day.
Within 2 days they were 90% better, and the ones who still had a little cough were better in 3. And that was after coughing for 4-5 weeks. I think the little viruses were hiding in the lungs and then reappearing when they got their numbers back up. After I started the H202, no one had a reoccurence of the flu.

Here's an update. My chest congestion is much improved from a change in diet to zero carbs. I still use the hydrogen peroxide spray but very infrequently if I feel my lungs getting congested. I found I couldn't use it several times a day for several days without throat pain and additional chest congestion. It works great to clear out my lungs when used occasionally.

I am an avid believer in HP however, I am not completely clear on how to always use it. For example, the 85 year old man who uses a uses a nasal spray pump to cure his prostate cancer etc - I do not even know what a nasal spray pump is, where you can get it and HOW to use it. That should be explained. Also, I read where Ted suggested you can drink it but it has to be a certain percentage and strength BUT what happens MOST on this site is that there are clear instructions often missing and where to get the devise or product from. Just print the exact name and a web site or email address or telephone number. By doing that you simply making a suggestion your not giving advise. We are allowed to give our opinions without it beinc illegally construed as medical advise. Thx - Gary

6 months ago, I did an intensive research on internet about health because my illness became so serious. I did spent a lot money on supplement, doctor and medicine. Now, my health has improved a lot. I know that I owe to earthclinic, so I write this feedback.
The first time I read earthclinic was when I wanted to do research on cider to improve my health. I got easily exhausted, even when there were holiday for a week, it seems that i didn't have enough rest. I also have a low immunity, chronic nasal/sinus and digestion problem. The worst was the brain fog, you don't want to know how it feels when you have a very short memory and mood swing.
As you can see, my body and mind is weak. Actually this had happen since i was in high school. Don't know the reason why. I did a really hard effort to get a standard performance in school and office. I am 28 now.
Had tried lots of food supplement. Had tried many of suggestion from earthclinic, such as cider, incline bed, kefir and colon cleanse. But had no long lasting effect. The H2O2 inhalation that look dangerous work the best. I inhale 6 spray each session in the morning 7 am and night 7 pm.
I felt sick for 10 days at early application but I didn't stop spraying. I know that this was body reaction to get rid of the toxic, virus, bacteria and yeast quickly.
Now I feel reborn. Now I only use H2O2 and zapper for healing, both work great. Of course, I still need healthy nutrition, regular exercise and good rest.
Sorry, my english is bad. Thank you earthclinic and Bill Munro.

Well Chris, usually mucous is clear but when you get an infection it turns yellow and then green. The sore throat probably was an indication at the onset of an infection hence the change in mucous color. The hydrogen peroxide can help clear up the infection so you might want to continue.

★★★☆☆BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS
Iv'e been inhaling 3 percent hydrogen peroxide for just over a week now at 4-5 pumps 3 times daily. The first 3 or 4 days it worked great cleared my lungs out got rid of my cold it worked well. After that i got a sore throat and have been coughing up green and yellow stuff. I'm a smoker, smoke about a pack a day, just curious if any one else has had these symptoms.

PAMM, based on your medical history, I'm wondering if the symptoms could be from heavy detoxing. Sounds like your body needs to rid itself of alot of toxins and the h2o2 might work pretty heavily on this. The cleansing symptoms would be very extreme. I would definitely proceed with caution, but I would still suggest that your body will experience severe detox cleansing symptoms regardless of the natural remedy that is used, to rid itself of the disease.

Steaming Vs Inhalation

Since a ultrasonic nebulizer simply vibrates the H2O2 solution into a mist, it will work. A machine that creates heat will affect the solution. My thoughts on this venture lead toward efficiency and practicality. The pump sprayer is fast, portable, and it works just fine. A ultrasonic nebulizer would be just a fancy and expensive way of achieving the same result.

Hello Chaste,
I can't say definitely on your question re waiting l hr. after inhalation H202, but since when taking it orally it goes to the stomach, and ideally when using the inhalation method most of it should be headed toward the lungs, it probably doesn't matter much if you don't wait l hour after inhalation.

Just wondering if you should wait 1hr before eating when doing the inhalation method as you would if drinking?? Also does h202 therapy conflict with the use of any other supplements (ACV, l-lysine, coconut oil)?

Peggy & Elizabeth, Have you read "the watercure". Dr Batmanghelidg asserts that asthma is caused by dehydration..the lungs partly shutting down to conserve the body's water which we use up at around 2 litres a day. Even if you think this sounds way out, the book is definitely worth reading, I have had really great benefit from following his advice. Also, it doesn't cost anything to do the watercure!

Where to Find Nasal Pumps

Just wanted to let all who are having a hard time finding that perfect spray bottle to do the H202 inhalation properly. I was having a hard time with this, and came across an herbal throat remedy that I had on hand for my children. I emptied out the contents (almost empty anyways) and this is perfect for the inhalation method - it sprays a fine mist and is intended to be sprayed at the back of your throat. I found this at Whole Foods in Austin, TX but any health food store should carry an herbal throat spray. Hope this helps.

Wow, I can't believe how effective the hydrogen peroxide has been on killing whatever virus I had. I have had a really, really bad cold which went into my lungs and caused breathing problems (I have a little asthma) for almost two weeks. I also had the sore throat and cough - used the cayenne last week and within a day or two that was totally gone. But I was still miserable with the congestion and labored breathing. Read about the hydrogen peroxide inhalation therapy. So this morning I went out and bought the nasal sprayer, and 3% HP, and gave it a go. I did a few squirts as I breathed in once. Couldn't tell much at first, but slowly I noticed the congestion leaving and feeling more and more energetic. I did another round a few hours ago, and tonight I am breathing normal, very very little congestion, and I feel full of energy and life! I am having trouble falling asleep, too much energy, but I'm sure not complaining about that. Oh, I forgot to mention, I took a HP bath too, just poured one of those small 15 oz. bottles into the bath water and stayed in there for 45 minutes. All the warnings on other sites did scare me I have to admit, so I'm still not sure if I am brave enough to make this a regular practice, but to oust a bad cold or flu I will do it in a heartbeat again!!! Thank you Earth Clinic.

My husband started feeling symptoms of the flu on Friday, but I didn't feel them until Monday. I started inhaling 3% peroxide to the back of my throat and into my lungs following Bill Munro's instructions right away. I felt immediately better (literally, 5 minutes later) but 20 minutes later I felt the virus returning to my head. Instead of waiting the 2-3 hours for the inhalation like the instructions state, I decided to inhale again. Again my symptoms disappeared almost immediately. I kept inhaling every time I felt the symptoms returning and by midnight, I didn't have any more symptoms. I went to sleep, symptom free and did the peroxide again this morning, after an 8 hour break and will continue to inhale every 2-3 hours now. I am not 100% (mild congestion) but am doing sooo much better than my husband who is still miserable with congestion.
I am coming to the conclusion that the key to this inhalation method is starting it as soon as you feel the symptoms and then continuing it for a day or two. Don't stop doing it even if you feel better! I also think that inhaling every few hours is not enough if you have a bad strain of the virus. Inhaling every time I feel symptoms returning has been the key to kicking this virus. No doubt I will be able to test my findings again this winter, but hopefully not with the swine flu.
Good luck everyone. We need to be prepared for a bad swine flu season!
