Olive Oil

I was ready a book on weird and wacky cures but using natural stuff to heal everything and I came across using olive oil for hemorroids. As I had suffered with these and had an operation that failed to help, I decided to try it and it works, I started bleeding one day from behind an decided to use the olive oil and it stopped. The way I do it is soak a tissue in it place it on the area then place a polythene bag over that and then some pants that you are not too fond of and leave in place as long as possible. I have not had any trouble since that day.

I must say i am hooked on your site now and they all seem to work. I have been using using many of your skin remedies and i am glowing.ten years younger at least.

I am trying Preparation H mixed with 3 drops Lavender oil and 2 drops Eucalyptus oil. It tingles but it helps disinfect and heal skin tissue. I also have been using suppositories. I have been using Lavender oil for the last ten years on scrapes, pimples and small cuts. Amazingly my skin doesn't scar when I use it for 3 times a day for 5 or 6 days!

BTW, ACV with garlic diluted in water is an excellent way to clear out bacteria and viruses in the colon as an enema. You will need to replace good bacteria with probiotic yogurt or friendly flora supplements.

Lecithin

I read in a book that lecithin 1200 helps with hemorrhoids. I was desperate and depress so I gave it a shot. I worked wonderfully. After two days it shrunk 90% and no pain whatsoever. You can buy Lecithin 1200 in any Walgreens or CVS. I have to say, though, that the doses in the package says 1 capsula per day (you know as a dietary supplement) but I had 2 capsulas every four hours. Everytime I noticed that I was going to have an episode I had Lecithin 1200 for a day and It was gone.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO TAKE LECITHIN IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR NURSING. (At least it is what I read reserching in the web)

Vitamin B-6

★☆☆☆☆

WARNING!

Don't ever make the mistake of isolating the B vitamins, for whatever reason. They are synergistic....they all need each other. If you take one in a strong dose for any particular reason, take a smalled B complex tablet too so that they are all present. Large doses of isolated B vitamins have side effects. Wonderful Vits, but all needed to be present to work permanently.

Vitamin B-6

Having read some information about B6 helping for anal fssures, I saw an article detailing B6 symptoms as including cracking of the corner of mouths. Seems remarkably similar problem. I have had that and hems. My nerves are getting bad again and this too is symptom of B6 deficiency. I am also detoxing Mercury using ALA. I read somewhere B6 is depleted faster when using amino acids but could not find any particular reference to ALA.

Cayenne

Cayenne pepper rememdies: cayenne pepper foot baths will completely cure bad feet, although if you continue to work on hard floors the cure might need to be repeated every so often. Also, cayenne pepper does wonders on hemorrhoids when mixed with an otc ointment (not vaseline). Go very light on this one and be ready to wash it off yourself if you can't stand the burning. I've also tried cayenne pepper in a vaseline salve that I made on the cookstove that completely cured the bursitis in my shoulder.

Essential Oils

I started asking about hemorrhoid remedies while pregnant with my fifth child. During the previous pregnancy (and especially after deliver) I had horrible, painful hemorrhoids.

A friend suggested the following:
1 small (2oz.) tube of KY jelly, squeezed into another container - mix in 5 drops of cypress essential oil and 15 drops of geranium cypress oil and mix very well. Apply liberally as needed.

I'll say that it does "tingle" but I wouldn't go so far as to say it burns. It provides almost instant relief and my hemorrhoids have remained very mild this time around!

Oh - one other thing that did work great for me was straight ICE PACKS - nothing else. But not as convenient as the essential oil mixture!

Horse Chestnut

I read on internet that taking horse chestnut orally will cure hemorrhoids, so I'm taking that right now and I think that it's working. Horse chestnut is also good for chronic venous insufficiency or swelling of the legs which was the main reason I was taking it in the first place. The swelling in my left leg is slowly subsiding but I think it's working for that also. Horse chestnut is good for also coughs, arthritis, and some other things I can't remember at this time.Pycnogenol is suppose to be better for hemorrhoids than horse chestnut, but I don't know, I'm just trying the horse chestnut for now, and if I'm not satisfied with the results, I will try pycnogenol instead, in which it's supposed to work better for leg swelling

I discovered that fresh Jewelweed stopped the itching in one application so for winter I made a tincture of jewelweed and ethyl alcohol 2:1. This worked well better than the raw plant and it is also an anti pruritic better than cortisone.

I tried radishes and turnips for my serious medical problem. And it really works, at 64 years old....I had a serious hemorrhoidal problem. What did radishes and turnips cure ? Well it really cured my problem of humorist and constipation...... :)) color me Happy :)) A fellow employee had the same problem and told me after nothing, my remedy fixed his same problem.

But to fix it you have to do it right.

1.you have have to have both of these veggies at emm, lunch and dinner.

2. Do not drink orange juice, but juices that have vitamin'c' without the acid in orange juice. NO acidic drinks or foods. you can get vitamin 'C' and potassium in pomegranate juice with out acids........

3. do not eat junk foods and beef, the garbage meat..........

This will give your body and intestines a good cleaning - end to end.

Juice 1 glass of beet roots a day and drink it all down. Maybe tough to stomach so mix it with carrot juice or something. Those nasties will be gone in a week.

White Vinegar and Salt

★★★★★

This is a hemorrhoid cure given to me by an older chiropractor in Tallahassee, Florida. Pour a cup of white vinegar into a sauce pan and bring it to a boil. Turn of the heat and add enough salt to form a supersaturated solution. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature and, using cotton swabs, apply the mixture to the afflicted area. Do this two or three times a day until the hemorrhoids have shrunken The cure does sting a bit, but a little pain far outweighs the benefits of this procedure.

Proper Positioning

A 6 inch step in front of my toilet bowl to raise my knees while seated on toilet. Passing a motion. It reduces Hemorrhoids and assists with your bowel motions. Saw this a long time ago. Theory is your system works easier with knees raised, as your bowels inside are less restricted in flow. Like Asian squat type toilets. It works. Made a small wooden raised stand. We move to side when not in use..Wife and I used it for 5 years so far and both recommend it. To try idea, at first get eg 2 house bricks. Whist seated on toilet put both feet on one in front. Your knees raise and your "flow" is easier.

I have been plauged for years with hemmroids. I read in an Ayurveda book about propping the legs, so I started keeping a 6" footstool (cheap plantstand purchased in a craft store) by the toilet. I put it in front of the toilet and put my feet on it, and it has given me great relief from hemmroids over the last six months I've been using it.

I didn't get hemorrhoids until after giving birth and I suffer terribly from them. I have yet to find a great cure but will try some of these things. I have found though that having a tsp of fiber powder (not the pills...they don't work) in the morning and at night and eating a banana once a day makes your stool soft, and I can still eat meat and all that stuff your not supposed to. Makes all things come out a lot easier but you have to take your time going. I'm not cured..they come back when I forget to take the fiber but it is a relief and allows you to eat the things you want for the most part..at least for me.

Eat a bowl of high fiber cereal 1-2 times per day. Your hemorrhoids will go away in a couple days.
