Turmeric for Boils: Top Natural Remedy for Fast Healing

OK I had my first boil in my bikini area. i did not want to go to the doctor i tried the warm compresses nothing was helping and it wasnt coming to a head. so i couldnt take the pain anymore i was close to going to e. r and getting it over with. so i went into the bathroom and steralized a needle and put a hole in it painful but it worked and instant releif as it drained out. well the next day i got a new one in another bad place. my butcrack. lol. the pain was worse i didnt want the doc to look there either. i was desperate i started tryin remedies. i tried the bananna peel. did not work, hot compresses, alchol, i tried ichthammol. a lot of people said that it worked good. nothing. by day 5 i was in terrible pain could hardly walk and could not sit. i did not want to pop it i was scared of infection and i tried and it hurt real bad and nothing. so i went to the grocery store and bought turmeric my last resort before i was going to need to go to e.r. i mixed one teaspoon in water and drank i also mixed some with a couple drips of water and put it directly on. i went to bed and woke up in the night and felt something a little wet. in the morning i got into the shower and it had started to drain!!!! i didnt thin k ever would! finally it was. i feel much better no pain swelling had gone down and still draining. i feel great!!!! this stuff is a miracle. take it 3 times a day. i paid $5 and it was the best $5 ive spent! so if you are suffering like i was please go out and get this. now ive been mixing it with orange juice still nasty but if you are in pain it doesnt matter!

First off, I noted she was taking the kids size portion 1/4 tsp.

And how about doing it topically? What about trying Mellycat of (Dallas, Tx) info...

Maybe you should have mentioned your issue a lot sooner and then someone could have given you some ideas. Guy, 1 year later seems a little late in the game, don't you think.

I figure, and maybe I'm wrong, but it almost 300 people have had good results from it, well, maybe you might be doing something wrong.

Myself, I can't believe how fast the staph boils on my arm healed up.

I did the 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tbs coconut oil 3x a day. Man, nothing was working before, just getting worse.

Janelle, I'm not saying this just to hack on you. I'm sure you were doing the best you could under your circumstance.

Normally, when something is not working for me and it's helping a lot of others I figure I need to start asking or doing something different. There's always an answer out there.

2. A pinch of good salt (Celtic, Himalayan) with each glass of water might help the water get into the cells and hydrate better.

Ok I so I got my first boil about 4 years ago I was like 16 and I had went to the doctor, he said my hair follicle was infected and gave me some medicine. It didnt work a week later I had another one along with the one I went to the doctor with. My mom had did some research and had me trying everything on them like onion, iodine, and ickthemal (wrong spelling) she actually even made some tumeric tea for me but i didnt want it becaus it tasted disgusting. I kept getting boils (proabably over 30) until I went to another doctor and he gave me a VERY expensive medicine that cured it.

Anyway 4 years later I'm living on my own and got a boil...I freaked out but hoped maybe it was just one and they weren't going to keep happening. Well I was wrong 2 days later another one popped up. I didn't have the money for the medicine so I started looking online for cures...I came accross this site and that night I made my self turmeric tea and applied it to the boils in a paste and covered it up. honestly it made it feel better but it didn't drain any faster. Still having hope for it I went to pick up some turmeric capsles. I was happy to see they were only 3 dollars for 50 capsles. So I started taking 2 everyday (like it said on the bottle) And didn't get one for a whole month. I decided to start skipping days and do it every other day and still no boils. About 4 months later everyday I feel my body and make sure theres no signs of boils starting. Any little bump and I take 2 pills each day for 2 days in a row and its gone. This stuff is a miracle Im so happy I found it!! I wish I could tell everyone who ever had a boil about it!!!!

Turmeric cured my boil. I had my first boil in years. It was angry and painful.I was worried sick that it'd never heal so i scoured the internet for treatment. I found the "take turmeric internally" suggestion on your website. So i dissolved turmeric in warm water as suggested and tried to drink. But it tasted so awfull that even the burning pain in my boil could not convince me to swallow the concoction! If turmeric is what the evil boil needs, so it will have...this is what i thought and came up with this:

In a mug-full of hot water i added 1 tsp turmeric powder. Applied warm water heat to the boil using a cloth. Did this three times a day. And on the fourth day my boil drained without warning and without any pain!

I feel so relieved and elated.

P.S. I am from India and turmeric is readily available in all forms. I used the normal turmeric powder from the store.

TURMERIC is the best remedy I have found to heal my boils. Found this site 2 weeks ago and it is the best for alternative cures. I am 55 y/o and have suffered from boils/cysts since I was 2 y/o, after a long stay in the hospital. Usually the boils would appear in the most private ares and all manner of ointments, doctors, antibiotics, hot compresses, squeezing, homemade ointments nothing has worked as well as TURMERIC. I had the largest boils I have ever had in my life right in the middle of my upper back they were the size of two extra large eggs and the most painful I had ever experienced and in a spot that was very hard to reach. So they remained coming and going for about two years. This time they came back with a vengeance I could not endure any clothing to touch them. I found this site read the comments on turmeric. I went to the grocery store bought turmeric powder took a heaping spoonful 3x a day AWEEEEEEE!! with a large glass of water and made a paste with warm water, On day two I woke up to the stink of pus that was running down my back the amount of which was mind boggling to me. I continued the turmeric paste and drink two more days by then a scab was on the boils and the pain was reduced. I ordered turmeric capsules. I take 2 caps three times a day. The boils are now small humps the position they are in did not allow for me to remove the cores so I hope they don't cone back. What's up with this core thing because even though I have removed the cores in the past they would still come back many times in the same place or area? I will take Turmeric for the rest of my life. Hey - I just wanted to give feedback about turmeric and boils/staph. My son had what we thought was a spider bite except it grew and had puss in it. The doctor lanced it and said it was staph but that the lancing would take care of it. A week later I got a boil on my leg. They lanced it but didn't biopsy it. I didn't think much of it but two weeks later another one started on my belly. I freaked out because I had just read about MRSA. I came onto this site and decided to try the turmeric remedy. I warmed about 1 oz of soy milk and added 1 tablespoon of turmeric and a little Equal 3 times a day. The boil hadn't broken the skin yet but the entire area was itchy and bright red and you could see where the boil was coming up. Well, I am AMAZED. After 4 days, the boil was completely gone. OMG! I am 26 and have been suffering from perodic boils since puberty. I've always used the hot compress or sitz bath method up until my last boil I actually had to have lanced and drained. It just refused to go away.

Well, two days ago another boil appeared and this time it hurt as soon as I noticed it. I was determined not to let this one end up like the last so I went online looking for alternate home remedies and ran onto this God send of a website.

After reading all the testimonials I asked my boyfriend to swing by the grocery store on the way home from work and grab some Turmeric in the spice isle. He didn't even ask why.

When he got home I immediately mixed a 6oz glass of water with 1 tsp of turmeric and chugged it down. Yes, it tasted horrible but it was nothing compared to the pain of being lanced because of an infected boil/abcess.

Needless to say, less than 2 hours later the boil that had begun to become increasingly uncomfortable regardless of hot compresses or sitz baths, it ruptured, oozed and is now on the road to healing. Taking powders such as turmeric, ginger or cayenne is unpleasant, but I have found the easiest way is to mix it into cream cheese - I like the garlic and herb ones! I suppose thick cream or yoghourt or a non dairy version, would work just as well. Mix it up well, load it onto a big spoon and swallow.

Staph infection boils

I read about using Tumeric a few days ago to help with boils. (2 teaspoons in warm water every three hours during the day) I immediately started taking it. I didn't see results for about a day, but it is working. I had two boils, one that came a day or two before the other. The one that appeared later started to drain earlier. And just like others have written, the tumeric caused the boil to come to a head and drain. The tumeric also helped with the fluid build up around the infection. I've taken antibiotics before to treat boils, but they left me feeling drained and sick. Taking tumeric has kept me feeling energetic.

I have also been using apple cider vinegar to help my body regain a more alkaline state, Kyolic (aged garlic extract), and barley grass powder to help my body cleanse itself.

I'm on my second day of the regimen and although the taste is a little gag inducing the first time around, my boil has reduced in size and the inflammation is slowly subsiding. My boil didn't burst yet and I don't think it's going to. Either way I can finally sit comfortably after 5 days. Thank you!!!!

This is day 4. I used the turmeric on a poltice with neosporin and also drank the turmeric, one teaspoon in a glass of water. I also put a poltice of baking soda on 2x yesterday for about 10 minutes a time and would immediately put the poltice of turmeric and neosporin back on never leaving it uncovered. The boils are now very small and scabbed over. Just one is weeping very little. I have to say I think the baking soda helped but the turmeric was the main cure. Friday of last week i noticed a small little dot on my right hip, thinking it was just a plugged hair follicle or blackhead, i popped it and a little white plug came out. By that night it had grown into what i thought was a big zit. By wednesday itwas so huge, bigger than an egg, i had to go to the doctor to get it lanced. That was incredibly painful and i had an awful doctor who cut into me before i was completely numb, AWFUL experience. It hadn't drained all the way after he had taken the packing out, so i went to another doctor who packed it without an injections. that was probably the most painful experience of my life. Pus oozed out all that day and yesterday and the doctor said that this was truly a bad and very deep cavity. The packing accidently came out last night with my bandage, and the doc told me i would have to come in today to get it re-packed. I am going to cry. Luckily, i came across this site yesterday and took as much turmeric and water as i could. When i took my bandage offthis morning the lump has gone down and there was no puss!! I REALLY hope that the doc doesn't need to re-pack it now that the turmeric has worked. I will let you know...

Turmeric Remedy: I have had a recurring problem with Boils on my back side, and upper leg. They can grow to be quite large in size, around the size of a plum. They often occur in the same spot, but lately they have been showing up in new locations. I have tried many different remedies and recently tried Turmeric. Turmeric has worked the best and I'm sold on it. I had 3 boils that were in the early stages, I was getting ready to take time off and prepare for a few days of epson salt baths and heat pads. I came across this site and began the turmeric around 6pm. By the next morning the boils had reduced about 75%. After two days only a very small indication left. This is going to help me manage this condition far more effectively than the broad antibiotics that the doctors were giving me.

Dear Earthclinic team, I had been suffering from a very painful boil on my left hand index finger for the last 10 days and the boil showed no signs of breaking till yesterday. I luckily got into your website and read about some home remedies to help with the pains and swelling caused by the boil last evening. Last night, I started with the hot water compress and I continued it till this evening with a break of 4 hours between each compress. I also had a glass of warm water with a tea spoon of turmeric powder this morning after brushing my teeth on empty stomach. This evening when I had my second shower, the boil burst out with a mild press, releasing loads and loads of pus and blood. Damn it! It was so painful to take all the pus out. I have suffered from boils in the groin area for the past ten years, many visits to the doctor, tried all possible antibiotics, warm baths, lancing and no cure. In January, I had about 8 boils in my groin area, I can hardly walk, went to the OBYGEN and she prescribed diocixalin a penicillin antibiotic, it seemed to help, the boils disappeared but still a small lump under the skin was still there. A week after I finished the antibiotics and no more boils, I thought that finally I was cured. Well not, the day before yesterday, I noticed that the boils were coming back, lots of swelling, redness and pain. Desperately, I started to do some research and I found your site, read about turmeric and decided to try it. In any event, if it didn't do good, it was not going to harm me either. I took the 1 teaspoon with warm water, yikes before going to bed, the next morning, I noticed that the swelling had gone down quite a bit; yesterday, I drank it with orange juice and it was easier to drink. This morning, the swelling pretty much disappeared as well as the pain. I will keep drinking it for at least two weeks, but so far I am satisfied with the result as this seems to really work fast and best of all naturally. I am grateful that I found your site. Thanks!
