Nebulizing DMSO

We use the 99.99% strength DMSO. The way we use it in the nebulizer is, we fill the nebulizer almost to the maximum capacity fill line with saline (I reckon you can use distilled water instead) and then we add just a drop or two of the DMSO into the saline. We have done this many times and it hasn't melted our nebulizer (I was concerned about that so that's why we only use a couple of drops). This has worked GREAT if we have bad upper respiratory infections. I had one where my chest felt like I couldn't fill my lungs, after a 5 minute session I felt SO MUCH RELIEF. My daughter had the same exact symptoms and she too was able to inhale deeply after using the DMSO in the nebulizer. It's a big help also for stuffed noses and cough. We swear by it.
