Here is a site that is most interesting, explaining the connections behind the diseases and maladies associated with yeast and fungus infections and some of the pulic issues and frustrations associated with Western Medicine's applications or lack thereof; due to it's stubbornness, arrogance and greed.(http://www.know-the-cause.com/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx) Judge for yourself how it might apply to you. Earthclinic and Ted's information has been most helpful for all of us who check in daily to the new discoveries using natural applications to clean up our bodies of disease. I am most pleased that Earthclinic and Ted find human sufferings to be important enough to allow us all to help one another by permitting us to post our findings to this site. Thanks Ted and Earthclinic!! Regards

Virgin coconut oil tampons stopped my vaginal yeast infections. I have found that soaking an organic cotton tampon in Virgin Coconut oil for a few minutes (non bleached, non deodorized, organic etc) and then inserting it over night for a maximum of 8 hours (the maximum time you should leave a tampon in for) brings great relief. It may take persistence and several nights for the problem to be resolved, but it is an easy, painless way to resolve an uncomfortable and sometimes persistent problem. Of course you need to get to the root of the problem itself - candida, poor diet etc - but this seems to work really well for localised infections

How do you soak the tampon without it the tampon expanding?

I was having problems with acid reflux, migraines, and yeast infections. For over a year now I have been taking 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar right before bed and I have not had problems since. The doctor was going to put me on medicine for my acid reflux, and since I started taking the acv, the medication is not needed.

I have very sensitive skin, so condoms, dryer sheets, and of course antibiotics can bring on a yeast infection. Step one is to avoid condoms and spermicide (for me) and using dryer sheets, particularly on underwear or athletic clothing that is close to the skin. To treat, I have had great success with bathing in lemon or lime water. This is probably more gentle than apple cider vinegar. Yeast needs a basic enviroment to live, and a healthy vagina is slightly acidic, so you want to return your environment gradually and gently to normal. Also - sperm is basic, so wash thoroughly after sexual activity to avoid creating a "good home" for excessive bacteria or yeast. There are also antifungal natural ear drops that are a little better than using a strong chemical treatment that you could try. For bacteria, I find that eating yogurt and probiotics during antibiotic courses, garlic, and avoiding triggers like dryer sheets helps as well. Hope this helps someone out there!

Hi I have suffered from yeast and candid infections for many years almost 10 years and I found your website when trying to find a remedy for my itching vulva. After reading all the testimonials I have decided to try the garlic first and see if it works. I see it has worked for many people and I am hoping that I will have tremendous results. Once more I would like to greatly thank all those who have contributed to this website. Its good to learn that I am not alone. I will sure keep you posted on my progress.

I have chronic yeast infections (monthly, around my ovulation time). It bothers me to take the antibiotic treatment, since I know they can be harmful, and the over the counter vaginal creams burn me to the point that I believe I am allergic to them. The last time I took the antibiotic, it didn't even work, so I was thrilled to find this website. I tried the ACV treatment today and it went very well. I drank 2 tblsp of ACV in a tall glass of water, and I bathed in a hot bath with about a cup of the ACV in it. I didn't have a turkey baster, so I flushed with the cupping of my hand and tried to get the water in and out. Most symptoms were gone immediatly and I will repeat this tomorrow once or twice. So far, I am absolutely amazed at the results. I really appreciate this information you have shared. Note: I also cut all sugar and flour from my diet right now, to help, since I know the bacteria feeds on this.

Just regarding your SINUS INFECTION - I always find inhaling the steamy fumes from a hot cup of water and ACV, that my sinus infections are cured within a day or two. Thanks for the post from a guys perspective on yeast infections. I'm worried I might have spread it to my husband (though he's showing no signs or symptoms) and that we're passing it back and forth to each other. Time for a couples ACV bath, how romantic...

I was so hoping that the ACV would work for me! I tried it with the baking soda, without the baking soda and finally figured out that it wasn't going to work, no matter how much I wanted it to. I'm doing the yogurt and acidopholous thing and have been for a few weeks. I'm going to step it up to more pills and yogurt a day and see if that helps. I'll keep you posted.

I ran across this site while frantically seaching the web. Although I have had yeast infections before this one was horrible. I was in REAL pain. I ran to the health food store and bought Organic Apple Cider Vinegar which is unpasteraurized (do not use grocery store brand) The 8oz bottle was $2.59. I put 1/2 cup in a warm bath and soaked for 30 min. I feel so much better as I am writing this. I actually was having trouble concentrating before because of the pain. I am not sure if this is the cure as of yet but it has relieved my symptoms by at least 70% Thanks for all the great info.

I tried drinking apple cider vinegar with apple juice and it fixed so many problems, like my circulation and bloating issues, but it did cause a yeast infection. One of you posted a warning about this, but I was wondering which brands do NOT cause yeast infections (preferably affordable brands). Thanks!!!

Ok. After reviewing this website I was so excited about curing my self at home, and not waiting on a Dr. Visit as I usually do. Unfortunately, I have yeast or BV infections at least once every six months, (I guess I should be grateful according to some). Which I believe comes from my horrible eating habits and limited veggie intake. So once I read through each email I made a list and headed directly to the Health food store and my list included; acidophilus pills, ACV, plain no fat/no sugar yogurt, and pomegranate cranberry juice. I wanted to try each remedy at a time so I could actually see the results. So since ACV was highly recommended, I tried it first. I started of with a 2 tbsp of ACV in water, and chocked it down, which is a taste one must acquire. Later, I followed up with an ACV hot bath and douche. I did this for two days straight both morning and night and it only made my condition worse. A couple of days later, I tried the yogurt, which felt great at first, but it only covered-up the condition for about 4 hours. Since neither remedy gave immediate results, I went ahead and use my last prescribed treatment of Clindesse, which seems to be my only hope. Needless to say, I used the Clindesse on Wed, and the majority of my symptoms were gone by Wed. Night. Come Thursday evening I felt a slight discomfort and I douched with Hot water and Iodized salt (which was recommended in only (1) feedback response), clinching tightly to my faith (that I would not be harmed in anyway since this remedy had one recommendation). This morning, I feel great, all symptoms have disappeared and I feel normal again..In conclusion I tried a variety of remedies within these last five days, but Clindesse and a Iodized salt/warm water douche seem to do the trick. (I guess it works the same as if you would gargle with warm/salt water. PS. For what it's worth I have added acidophilus pills to my every day diet.

I tried the vinegar as a douche, but other than suspending the symtons for about 24 hours, I was not cured. Next, I tried garlic. Again, temporary relief of symptons, but no cure. I am now going to try the yogurt. I will keep you posted.

I have had recurring yeast infections for years which ceased when I went off the Pill. Now back on the Pill and WHAM, they're back. Tea Tree oil used to work well (few drops inserted on a tampon.) But today..NOTHING worked. Severe pain. Used the ACV cure (2 T in water) and w/in an hour, I felt better. What a miracle! The over the counter 'curse' never, ever work for me. Thanks for sharing this cure!

(1)all the inflamation in my sinuse's and chest is gone, including my back and neck (I had a triple disk neck fusion 3 years ago and have issues with swelling still(2)I could feel my sinus's draining, which usually took about 3 days of heavy antibiotics, but this morning was a miracle(3)I have more energy then usual (4)I can breath better because my chest is clear(5)I feel like a new person today. Thank you for this site! I have been emailing all my friends and telling them about ACV and the effects. I use to suffer from UTI infections now i don't get uti infections anymore i happen to get reoccurring yeast infections. I keep going to the doctor to get medicated creams which don't last and don't do the trick. I did my own research and discovered that apple cider vinegar , grapefruit seed extract pills and nursery jelly works. I would recommend this to anyone .I think all those above mentioned things work.
