I was having problems with acid reflux, migraines, and yeast infections. For over a year now I have been taking 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar right before bed and I have not had problems since. The doctor was going to put me on medicine for my acid reflux, and since I started taking the acv, the medication is not needed.

I first wanted to say be careful when dabbing ACV undiluted on the pelvic area because it can cause an off balance PH in the vagina and you can end up with BV! But it really does work. As i was reading the testimonies of how quick it worked for others i recalled how quickly it worked for me. Just this saturday i had the discharge, itch and burning. After taking ACV before bed i woke up with minimal syptoms. I will continue to take it so that i don't have the infections any more and because the other nutritional benefits are remarkable!

I wanted to share my experience with everyone with Yogurt for a yeast infection. I started getting a yeast infection so I searched online and found this wonderful site! I read all the different home remedies for a yeast infection. Immediatly I ran to my kitchen and took two teaspoons of Apple Cider Vinegar. It was night so I went to sleep, when I woke up in the morning I hadn't gotten any worse and I was feeling a little better. So I gave myself 2 1/2 teaspoons that morning and night and a shallow bath with 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar. Which worked wonders!! Stopped the itching.

But on the third day I was still feeling a little uncomfortable. SO I decided to go and buy fat free organic plain yogurt and a turkey baster. I laid on my back and inserted the yogurt with the turkey baster. I waited the recommended 20 minutes. But I did NOT feel the cool relief as everyone stated. After the 20 minutes I cleaned up (it was messy but not that bad. Have a lot of paper towels on hand) and took a shower. But as soon as I pushed the yogurt out. I immediatly started to itch WORST than ever! Both my outsides and insides were itching worst than they had to begin with!! It was horrible. This remedy DID NOT WORK AT ALL! I was pacing the floor when my boyfriend asked me what made it feel better to begin with. I told him a bath with Apple Cider Vinegar. So I ran into the bathroom and quickly jumped into a bath with 1/2 cup ACV. It was INSTANT relief! I also took in the cleaned out turkey baster and used it as a type of douche in the bath tub.

As soon as I did this the rest of the yogurt came out and I felt again, instant releif. I let that bath go down and ran another one with 1/2 cup of ACV. I set in the bath probably a total of 40 mins. This morning I feel a lot better but still have some discomfort. I will be going to the whole food store to see what I can buy to make all this go away. But use the yogurt at your own risk. It was new, I just bought it that day. And it was a nightmare experience! All I can say is THANK GOD for Apple Cider Vinegar!! It works wonders!

I tried the apple cider vinegar cure for a yeast infection by bathing/douching with it. I'm not sure the douching with it was a good idea. I now have pelvic soreness and believe that the infection has moved up to my uterus. Bathing in it did help the itch and pain, though.

I tried the vinegar as a douche, but other than suspending the symtons for about 24 hours, I was not cured. Next, I tried garlic. Again, temporary relief of symptons, but no cure. I am now going to try the yogurt. I will keep you posted.

Ok. After reviewing this website I was so excited about curing my self at home, and not waiting on a Dr. Visit as I usually do. Unfortunately, I have yeast or BV infections at least once every six months, (I guess I should be grateful according to some). Which I believe comes from my horrible eating habits and limited veggie intake. So once I read through each email I made a list and headed directly to the Health food store and my list included; acidophilus pills, ACV, plain no fat/no sugar yogurt, and pomegranate cranberry juice. I wanted to try each remedy at a time so I could actually see the results. So since ACV was highly recommended, I tried it first. I started of with a 2 tbsp of ACV in water, and chocked it down, which is a taste one must acquire. Later, I followed up with an ACV hot bath and douche. I did this for two days straight both morning and night and it only made my condition worse. A couple of days later, I tried the yogurt, which felt great at first, but it only covered-up the condition for about 4 hours. Since neither remedy gave immediate results, I went ahead and use my last prescribed treatment of Clindesse, which seems to be my only hope. Needless to say, I used the Clindesse on Wed, and the majority of my symptoms were gone by Wed. Night. Come Thursday evening I felt a slight discomfort and I douched with Hot water and Iodized salt (which was recommended in only (1) feedback response), clinching tightly to my faith (that I would not be harmed in anyway since this remedy had one recommendation). This morning, I feel great, all symptoms have disappeared and I feel normal again..In conclusion I tried a variety of remedies within these last five days, but Clindesse and a Iodized salt/warm water douche seem to do the trick. (I guess it works the same as if you would gargle with warm/salt water. PS. For what it's worth I have added acidophilus pills to my every day diet.

I was so hoping that the ACV would work for me! I tried it with the baking soda, without the baking soda and finally figured out that it wasn't going to work, no matter how much I wanted it to. I'm doing the yogurt and acidopholous thing and have been for a few weeks. I'm going to step it up to more pills and yogurt a day and see if that helps. I'll keep you posted.

My wife tried the Apple Vinegar treatment for a yeast infection. But the problem is though, when I went to get the stuff for her, the lady at the health food store told me she could take as much as she wants... don't do it that way. My wife has been sick all nite. I should have read most of these letters last night, it probably would have helped in a big time way. Now I just have to convince her to do a proper treatment with the bath and a drink to finish this sucker off. She can't take this discomfort much more. Thank you for this website and hopefully now I can finally help my wife.

Bacterial Vaginosis vs Yeast Infections. I came across this website while searching for holistic cures for bacterial vaginosis. I think its really important to identify which infection you might have as what works for curing yeast might actually make the bacterial vaginosis worse. A trained physician who is up-to date with the literature should help diagnose you. I have thought that I had yeast recurring for years while the whole time I have had Bacterial Vaginosis, a COMMON condition. Be sure to get diagnosed correctly, ladies! I am going to try taking oral folic acid and the vaginal yogurt insertion to see if either helps BV.

I have very sensitive skin, so condoms, dryer sheets, and of course antibiotics can bring on a yeast infection. Step one is to avoid condoms and spermicide (for me) and using dryer sheets, particularly on underwear or athletic clothing that is close to the skin. To treat, I have had great success with bathing in lemon or lime water. This is probably more gentle than apple cider vinegar. Yeast needs a basic enviroment to live, and a healthy vagina is slightly acidic, so you want to return your environment gradually and gently to normal. Also - sperm is basic, so wash thoroughly after sexual activity to avoid creating a "good home" for excessive bacteria or yeast. There are also antifungal natural ear drops that are a little better than using a strong chemical treatment that you could try. For bacteria, I find that eating yogurt and probiotics during antibiotic courses, garlic, and avoiding triggers like dryer sheets helps as well. Hope this helps someone out there!

Hydrogen Peroxide worked instantly for the itching caused by my yeast infection, even though it stung a little bit initially. But the relief was worth the use I'm definately sticking by this one. Thanks for the info on the site, it was really helpful.

Honestly for all you ladies you have yeast infections hydrogen peroxide does the trick - for me in a single dose! I googled natural remedies and was told about mixing 1 tablespoon per cup. I used two cups [of water] with 2 tablespoons [of h202] and a turkey baster to get it in there. Relief was immediate and my symptoms are gone after only ONE use! I will never use anyting else but this EVER again. If I had the power to gurarentee it I would! I LOVE hydrogen peroxide and am learning just how effective it is for many ailments!

I don't normally give comments back, but I am going to this time. I have had a yeast infection or BV for 4 days and thinking yeast first, I treated it with Monostat 1. It did not work, on the 4th day I was more miserable than I was on day one. I do not know how ladies put up with such a nasty condition for so long. Anyway, I dislike going to the doctors very much. I found this site and read your antidotes, then I found a medical site that backed the information about using a certain kind (that most people do not have) of H202 internally. I only have the 3% at home and that is what I used. The medical site does not recommend it for internal use. I do not own a baster or anything else like that. I used a tampon which I tried to soak with a solution of 50% bottled water and 50% H202, but I found it expanded too much in the applicator. In my frustration, I removed the tampon from the applicator and drenched it with straight H202 and used my fingers to push it up into my vaginal cavity. It was messy and a lot of liquid just came dripping back out. I also took paper towels and soaked them in staight H202 and methodically cleaned the entire external area from inside thigh to inside thigh and from start of pubic hair well past the anal opening. I let myself air dry then put on clean cotten underwear with a pad, and went to make a phone call, I talked for 67 minutes. During that time expanse there was a bit of a warm sensation that I felt and a bit of pain (like a cramping pain). After my call was over, I pulled the tampon out, then I literally dumped some more H202 over the entire external area and left myself air dry again. I woke this morning and have checked 3 times so far. No external cheesy stuff, no internal excessive white stuff, no musky smell, and I am pink again. I am going to the store to get some folic acid today also, but I did want to let you know of my success. P.S. I already eat Breyers probiotic yogurt daily regardless of state of health.

I tried this product for yeast infection, I used the plastic tube that the vaginal creme comes with and fill it with hydrogen peroxide put inside the vaginal areas for a couple of days and it worked like a charm. Also used it for a severe vaginal itch, (careful!! it may burn !! but not for long) all I know is the itching was gone.
