Hydrogen Peroxide

I diluted 35 percent food grade hydrogen peroxide with distilled water to make 3 percent hydrogen peroxide. I used it on a wart type thing on my left pinky on the left side of the nail. I used a spray bottle to spray on it every 3 hours or so for about 4 or 5 days. I heard from another website that someone was healed of genital herpes with hydrogen peroxide. That is what gave me the idea to use it on my wart. I feel that it could of worked faster using some other products on the shelf but hey it still worked.

Blackstrap Molasses
Posted by Mae (Cape Neddick, Maine) on 02/08/2010

I am wondering if blackstrap molasses, the brands that have over 700mg of potassium per serving, is comparable to the amount of potassium in banana peels and therefore would be as effective on plantars warts?

Tea Tree Oil, DMSO
Posted by Paul (Bloomington, In) on 09/24/2009

I've had planters warts several times in my life. First time I had them I tried having it burnt and cut out by doctors. Strangely not only did this not work it actually increased the size of the wart. I'm not sure how I came up with this method but I have owned two health food stores so I come into quite a bit of misc information from time to time. I heard that tea tree oil helps to eliminate warts so I started to put that on with a cue tip. With the other side I put on DMSO as it has the ability to draw things deep into the skin. After some days the wart whitened and I started the process of scrapping out the dead skin with a sharp knife to get to the live wart below. In less than two weeks the wart was completely gone. I had suffered with this wart for nearly two nears. I started to always wear shower sandals and avoid subsequent infections until about 10 years later when I stopped wearing them for a while and got infected again.

Again I tried the same process of Tea Tree Oil followed by DMSO and periodic scraping and in about two weeks it was gone. It would have taken less time if I added an Indian healing mud called ____which is simply bentonite clay earlier. This wart was a little more stubborn so after the Tree tree and DMSO and scraping I'd apply the mud and leave it on for the night.

I would be very surprised if this did not work for somebody else. The only thing is you have to be diligent. Every day before bed you need to do this process. Yeah its a little pain but it will cost way less than the doctors, and certainly will be less expensive. Most importantly it actually works.

I applied tea tree oil to some small warts I had on my arm and they did go away. Over about 2 weeks time. All I did was apply it every night (or every chance I remembered) and they just seemed to disappear! But, if you have a large wart it will not work, or at least it did not with mine.

IF YOU HAVE A LARGE WART LET ME SUGGEST THIS CHEAP TREATMENT!! SO EXCITING BECAUSE IT IS CHEAP AND WORKED!!! OK I had a BIG wart under my finger finger nail, and I applied everything you can imagine to it!!! And nothing worked!! I was so sad, I could not paint my nails, I kept the nail super short... But, I read some where on the internet that if you chrush an asprin and add a tad bit of water to the asprin and make a paste out of it and applied that to your wart and then put a bandaide over it and let it for 12 hours it would get rid of them.. Well I tried it I did it over a week, and I noticed the texture of the wart looked different, and I kid you not, the wart went away.. It just went away.. I used an emery board on some old skin left on it and it has not came back! This was in Febuary 2 months ago! Try it IT WORKS AND I TRIED EVERYTHING!! :D

Bleach

I had planters warts that covered my entire heel. The surgeon said he would have to remove my entire heel down to the bone in order to remove the painful planters warts. I then went to an old family practice DR. He suggested that I soak my heel in straight chlorine bleach. I soaked my heel in the bleach 3 times a day for about 10 minutes each time. Within about 3 weeks the warts were gone!

EC: Some doctors might question the wisdom of soaking any part of the body in bleach, but soaking the toes in a dilution of bleach and water is a widely recommended remedy for nail fungus.

To "G from SF,CA"....have you ever tried the match cure? Or used duct tape to alleviate a wart? Don't knock it unless you've tried it....and if it didn't work for you - OH Well, don't knock it anyhow. Didn't your momma teach you it isn't nice to call anyone 'stupid'??

The only form of stupidity I'm aware of is ignorance. If you had actually tried for yourself you would realize this isn't as crazy as you make it seem. I'm not injuring my child, nor myself, because the same technique worked for me.

EC: Sorry Corey, that nasty post from "G" should never have been posted on the site. Apologies.

Tea Tree, Coconut Oil

About 8 months ago I had two warts around and under my pointer and middle finger of my left hand and one on the middle knuckle of my pointer finger on my right hand. I had these warts since I was 16 (I am now 20), so I had them for about 4 years. I had tried many things: Banana peel, duct tape, nail polish, apple cider vinegar, cutting them off, wart remover, freezing them...The list could go on. Some of them decreased the size by a small margin, but barely noticeable. I perform on clarinet and piano, and to have unsightly fingers as mine was embarrassing! Like I said, I tried all those things. I came across the combination of tea tree oil and coconut oil by trial and error. I love this site so when I got fed up with the warts, I came here. I tried tea tree oil on it's own, but it burned my fingers and they turned red and peeled where i had placed the cotton ball. They started going away! But I couldn't stand the burning when I used it. I saw some people used coconut oil on here, so I tried that by itself and it worked a little bit and it healed the burns from the tea tree oil. Then I combined the two and voila! No burns or peeling skin and the warts were gone by the fourth or fifth day of use! What I used was a very small part of a cotton ball with a dab of tea tree oil, then I put a bit of coconut oil on my fingers and wrapped a bandaid around it. Don't use a whole lot of tea tree oil, the piece of cotton should be small enough to fit over the wart, but not much bigger than that. Use more coconut oil than tea tree oil so that the burns won't be that bad. Hope this helps those who can't find a cure like I couldn't!

EC: We don't have a tattoo removal page, so your question is going on the mole removal page for now! If this topic proves to be a popular subject, will add a new page.

ACV, Banana Peel, Duct Tape
Posted by Marie (South Bend, In) on 12/29/2009

I recently grew a filiform wart on my face right below my lip. I found information on the internet about using iodine on warts. since I take lugols solution(iodine/iodide) I started applying the lugols to the wart. within a week a large portion of the wart fell off. It took about 4 weeks for the whole thing to dissappear, but the iodine worked. From everything I have read and from my alternative doc, warts on the face should not be frozen.

ACV, Banana Peel, Duct Tape

This is something I was using for another issue but it seems to be affecting the wart I've had on my finger for several years. Zinc. I take 2 - 30 mg capsules of opti-zinc split up over the day. I've been taking the zinc for about a week and the wart is significantly smaller, about half the size. If it does completely eliminate the wart, I'll still continue it for another week just to be sure the virus is completely dead.

This is something you have to be careful with. Too much zinc could be toxic. It also interferes with the absorption of other nutrients, particularly copper.

For your daughter, since she's so young and small, I'd recommend much smaller dosages. Also, don't take it around meals or with other vitamins as it may block other needed nutrients. It might also be good to supplement with some copper but not within 2 hours of taking the zinc. Don't over do the copper either. For her, 1mg a day should be more than enough.

Apple Cider Vinegar

my 8 year old cousin had 3 planters warts on the bottom of his feet, they got medicine, and razors to cut off the top part of the wart from the doctor for it but it was not working. I told them about pure raw unfiltered organic apple cider vinigar, and after 3 days of applying it 2 or 3 times a day and not washing it off, the warts fell off. We still apply the vinigar as a precaution and only for a few days after they fell off. Good luck this worked fast, and was painless!

Yes the ACV treatment for curing warts worked! At night, I covered the wart with a piece of cotton ball I soaked with ACV then a bandaid. After a while it does burn, so I took a couple of nights off and just kept the wart covered with a bandaid during the day. Within 2 weeks the wart turned black, and with a little help from the tweezer was gone. There is no trace of the wart at all. I am a firm believer in ACV.

35% food grade hydrogen peroxide H2O2 , placed directly on the wart and covered with apple cider vinegar(ACV), after the wart falls off. This will prevent the wart from ever coming back again. The only side effect is a little stinging sensation immediately after applying the peroxide directly on the wart. The sting last for about 60 second or so. The wart dies after 24 hours. Remember to apply apple cider vinegar after the sting subsides.

Vitamin E works inside and out of the body at the same time. It makes the warts just shrink down and go away. no discoloration or any thing. I also put Noxzema on them it works with the E and cuts the time to a couple of weeks.

Orange Peel in White Vinegar

We tried the banana peel remedy for removing Warts for almost 2 months, but with no effect. Our doctor suggested soaking Orange peel in white vinegar for 1 week (in a sealed jar) and then applying the peel (white side down on the wart) with a bandaid at night (and removing in the morning). We did this for about a week and got dramatic results, within two weeks all the warts (that had been there for months) were gone. We tried everything from freezing, duct tape, banana peel etc. This was the only thing that worked.

Vitamin E
Posted by J (Florida) on 10/14/2015

I am currently trying the vitamin E soft-cap to see if it will work on three flat warts that are located on my check and arm. As of one week I actually do not see any chances but am going to keep trying for a bit longer.

However just a quick warning for others. I am currently taking a break from the application because the E gel is so thick. I have broken out in a massive rash of pimples at the applications site.

Although I will add that this may also be because I have naturally oily skin and live in a warm climate.

So just a heads up.

PS Before anyone asks =) yes I did wash the application areas every day.

I tried a bunch of different remedies to rid myself of a wart which decided to appear next to my nose (ugh!) I even bought books online to find out what to do.... that included using the baking soda and castor oil remedy which did not work for me. I tried everything I could find, but nothing worked.

I began using hydrogen peroxide applied once daily. It has taken several months to reduce to almost gone, but it is SO EASY and for me, it actually worked! I kept a bottle of hydrogen peroxide at my computer desk and just dipped my finger in it and applied that to the wart every day when I open my email.

I find that Tea Tree Oil is great for melting away WARTS ! I tried every cure from freezing to duct tape to cut it off with clippers. It always returned. I then tried Tea Tree oil. Would apply with qtip several times a day. I tried to put a bandaid on with the oil, but the oil would just melt the adheshive. In two weeks my wart was gone and never came back. Since then I have tried it on several relatives with the same great result. I am now trying on my sons acne and it seems to be working with no side effects or scaring.

Salicylic Acid

Hello, I swear my life on this treatment. As a teenager i had only one wart . Really annoying i thought but was able to live with it. Couple of years later though the warts started spreading. You can imagine how embarrassing it was since they became quite visible.
My grandmas sister told me to put salicylic acid and to tomato on the warts and wrap them up. I did that twice a day putting generous amounts of acid on each wart and a peace of tomato. A week latter imagine my surprise THEY WERE GONE!!!!Have not had them since and I can tell you I had tried everything including burning with the really painful liquid nitrogen. It is a bit of a challenge to buy salicylic acid but you can definitely find it online if not in you local pharmacy. Good luck!!!

My son had terrible warts on the bottoms of his feet and also his fingers. We bought a bottle of NATURAL vitamin E 400IU. He took one in the morning and one at night. At night before going to bed,we poked a pin in a vitamin E pill and rubbed the oil on the warts. In three days the warts turned black and started falling out. In two weeks they were completely gone. Three of my friends who have had warts tried this with the same results. My sons warts have never come back. Hope this helps someone!

I had a wart on my check. I tried the ACV, sesame oil (it burned my face), the potatoe rememdy. I was getting very discouraged and I cut a lemon wedge and held it against the wart for an hour or two everyday and put vitamin E during the rest of the day. I cut open a vitamin E capsule, spread the oil on the wart and on a bandage, and changed it in the morning. It took about 1 week and the wart is almost gone. I am still putting on the vit e. Cover your wart 24/7 until it is gone.
