I have used tea tree oil on warts with good results. I use full strength right out of the bottle. The trick is how much and how often to apply. Instead of a q-tip, one of those mini-screwdrivers (like in an eyeglasses repair kit) with a flat blade is a perfect applicator. Just dip in the tt oil and coat the wart only. This minimizes irritation of surrounding areas. I would apply every 2-3 days until resolved.
Fasting
Posted by Martin (Sidney, Canada) on 05/30/2008
I had fasted for a week, two years ago, and found that my health and energy improved significantly. Recently I had to give up work because my eczema flared up after coming off long term steroid treatment. I came off the treatment because my doctor told me to take a bone scan due to the prolonged steroid treatment. The scan revealed I had osteoporosis, worst in my spine at -3.9, which is quite serious. Since coming off the steroids I have been prescribed other medications to help relieve my asthma and eczema but they were very expensive and not as effective as the 'many for pennies' steroids. I remembered my fast of 2 years ago and decided to give it another go. My health improved to the point where my asthma and eczema were virtually gone by day 6 of the fast. But, what I also realised that my three year old verrucas had gone! I had developed at least a dozen on my left foot and 3 on my right foot, possibly from walking barefoot at the swimming-pool. Three visits to the doctor to get them 'frozen' and limping home with blisters, and a couple of weeks of topical applications had failed. They were so bad that I had pain when walking, and they even wore out my woolen slippers and socks prematurely. My fast was: no food for 7 days, and I only drank tap-water and diluted apple juice. I have an appointment to see an allergist but there is a 3 month waiting list. Please, before fasting check with your doctor to see that it would be safe for you, and learn how to fast, and break your fast properly. Good luck. Martin (Sidney, BC, Canada).
Bleach

First off, I've got to tell you that I tried a certain brand of all natural remedy from a website and all it did was burn my skin and cause major irritation, discomfort and bleeding. I also tried the banana peel wrap, the Castor oil & baking soda paste as well as applying household bleach with a cotton swab. The best thing that worked for me was to first vigourously apply bleach with a cotton swab to all warts and then let the bleach dry for a couple of minutes. Once dry, vigourously apply raw apple cidar vinegar with a cotton swab until you have removed all of the superficial/dead skin tissue and you can only see the warts in their plain shape. Repeat this three times daily. They'll be completely gone within about 10 days.
Voodoo Remedies for Warts

I was reading your voodoo section on warts. When I was a child, I hate an enormous wart on my wrist. My mom took me to the doctor and I had it burned off. It soon grew back to TWICE the size! I was horrified. Then my step-grandma told me to pop a vitamin E oil capsule and put that on it everyday with a bandaid and in ONE MONTH it will go away. I did it religously every night and it took my HUGE wart away, never to grow back again! I recommend it to everyone!

The wart removed itself from son's foot. We were absolutely amazed! The skin healed back quickly with no scarring. Thank you for making your website available to all for free!
White Vinegar

I had a recent outburst of a vaginal wart. It looked like a raised bumpy mass and it kept on growing, fast. It got to the size of a thumbnail and raised about 1/4 inch. I did not want to use traditional medications so I saw that Apple Cider vinegar worked on regular warts. Well I had no Apple Cider vinegar, how about regular white vinegar. I soaked a q-tip in the vinegar and treated the wart directly for 10 minutes a day. After about 8 days the wart started to disappear, more and more each day. Then the area would bleed where I applied the vinegar, something was happening. As it bled the wart was disappearing. I treated the area every day until it bled. Eventually the wart was gone and a hole was there. The vinegar ate away the wart. This took about 2 weeks. If the wart threatens to come back I re-treat with vinegar for a few days, and its gone again. I hope this helps someone else.
Pickling Vinegar

I had a wart on my end of my thumb and the root was under my thumnail. I had tried the store remedies but they did not work. I decided to use Pickling Vinegar as apposed to Apple Cider. The reason was that Pickling Vinegar has a higher percentage of Acetic Acid @ 7%. Apple Cider and regular vinegar has only 5%. I placed the vinegar on a small cotton swab, placed it on the wart, then wrapped a few pieces of duct tape over to seal it in and allow not air to get in. I die this ever 2 to 3 days The wart was gone in 10 days. WARNING: The sting and pain I endured from the acidity was very intense for the first 4 days.
Duct Tape

After months of treatment, with over the counter medicines, including the freezing method which upset my daughter terribly, a simple piece of duct tape on the wart for 4 days took it completely away! How I wish I tried it first! The best part is that my kid didn't mind putting the tape on... she thought it was fun!

My Great-Aunt Pauline gave me an old wives tale remedy, she said to rub a potato that was starting to go bad on the wart. Then you close your eyes and throw the potato in the woods not seeing where you threw it. When the potato rots your wart will fall off. I was a kid when she told my mom and I about it, and I thought she was nuts, but it worked.

When I was a young girl, I had a wart on my knee. My Grandfather had me put the milk from the milkweed plant on my wart. I did this once a day for about a couple weeks. The wart disappeared and never came back!

Tea Tree Oil vanished the warts that were my fingers. I tried the garlic, banana peel, OTC creams, nothing worked. Then, I tried the tea tree oil; I used full strength 2-3 times daily on the spots and within a week my wart melted away. I then apply the spot once daily for another week to make sure to get rid of any "roots" that's left behind. It has been 2 years now and they are still gone. I only used the tea tree oil for only 2 weeks. They are cheap and very effective.
Hope you have great success with this method.

a bit of saliva on the tip of my finger every now and then has nearly caused a sebaceous wart on my forehead at the hairline to disappear. It is certainly much smaller.
Turmeric

I've had a wart on the bottom on my foot for 5 years. I've tried these methods to get rid of it: banana peel, duct tape, vinegar, oregano oil, over-the-counter meds, and freezing it (3 times!) by a dermatologist. For the past 4 days I've been putting a slice of fresh turmeric (and band aid) over it, once in the morning and once at night. It's almost completely gone now. Turmeric is magic. I hope this works for you, too.
