I will write you a method of not just reducing but zeroing the itchiness for a day. I bought a cold plasma device for my acne from a Chinese platform for about 66 USD. Not the one that produces just one arch for burning safely moles and warts but the one that has a disk shape head, like a coin ('cold plasma for acne', see the photo below) producing many parallel electrical arches.
Cold plasma kills all viruses, fungus and bacteria. It produces ozone, UV light and other ROS (Reactive Oxygen Species) in the body and has antiinflammatory properties. I know that for the small mosquito bite zapper there are studies that show it can relieve from itching. So I thought the results from my cold plasma device must be great. And were great. In just 1 minute of treatment (it depends on how much is the surface of the treated area) in the morning and 1 in the evening, the itchiness went from 10 degree to 0. The intensity of the sparks of the machine was at 5 (maximum) so I felt a little pain. The next day I repeated the procedure. In three days I had permanent zeroing of the itchiness but the redness and swolleness reduces slowly. One can continue doing the cold plasma treatment with lower intensity after the itchiness zeroes in order to fight the remaining inflammation. The plasma treatment might leave the area a little dry so a moisturizing cream or coconut oil after is helpfull. If there is pus in the eczema it the cold plasma will dry it and heal it very fast.
