In the neverending search for a cure from this "thing", I've done a little checking on some of the cures. All evidence points to the fact that ionic silver is the new standard in silver...Phd's and researchers have found that it works far better than particular (colloidal) silver and that particularly in the stomach when it runs into hydrochloric acid...the ionic works much better. So I'm going to continue on with the ionic...it seems to help. I also used some aloe vera gel on my face it worked really great and then put on scalp too. Seemed to kill most things or at least bring to surface so I could get rid of them. Try this. I also broke down and bought [cats claw]...had been using Cats Claw for a couple weeks and it helped but not enough. I did notice a difference with the [cats claw], seemed to slow these critters down quite a bit more than the cats claw and generally feel pretty good on it..it has so many health benefits it can't hurt when we have all this garbage going on in our body dropping who knows what toxins inside of us. I started with 5 drops in a small glass of water half hour before meal. We are suppose to have [cats claw] for 12 days and then 12 days off, etc. with something else inbetween. I also take garlic with any food I shouldn't be eating just so they can't enjoy it. Am also back to taking a wormwood, black walnut, clove combo. Thing is this...this isn't going away in two weeks. Most people don't give any particular protocol long enough to work. It may take 6 mos to a year to get rid of this. So don't give up too early, if you see improvement keep at it.

EC: Sorry, had to remove a brand name from this post...

morgellons: Been trying the shotgun approach latelly and have seen some definite improvements...seems to be killing off the smaller ones...don't feel in eyes lately so vision improving...

Taking Cats Claw 2x per day, considering 3x per day at 500 mg ea...suppose to be working the best...want to try Samento though that is cCats Claw w/o TOA which improves its performance - but costs 2x as much. also 2 doses daily of Black Walnut Green Hull, Garlic 1500 mg considering going 2x daily on this...also taking Olive Leaf Extract 1-2x a day, Colloidal Silver AM & PM, considering adding a 3rd dose, 1/4 tsp baking soda in water 2x day w/tsp apple cider vinegar. Combination Green Tea, Goji and Ginger (Ginger is said to dissolve worm eggs) 2-3x daily, taking high quality vitamin/mineral I prefer Vitamin World's Green Vitamin, the best I've so far. Plain yogurt adds back flora to the digest tract...While these things haven't disappeared, they do seem weakened - have been on this protocol for less than a weak and feel there is a die-off, but the larger worms will take longer to kill. At night I use tea tree oil, a little oil and hydrogen peroxide with a dab of hand soap to mix these together. I put it all over my body and wrap with glad wrap to keep on all night long - I get good sleep w/this technique, but you need to take garlic before sleep so it drives them to the skin otherwise they just dig into the body to get away from it. Happy Hunting!

In frustration I've decided to attack these buggers with all I have...they do seem to fight back even harder when you attack them though...kind of scary! But here goes, what seems to work...

Cats Claw...saw definite improvement when I started using this the other day, they were becoming quite strong and I needed to try something so this definately pushed them back....they say the alcohol tincture is stronger and that the Samento (Cats Claw w/the TOA taken out which makes it better but much more expensive)...

They say Echinacea works well with Cats Claw and it is an insecticide may kill those bugs...I'm taking Super Echinacea (has all 3 Echinaceas in one tincture)

Also taking Apple Cider Vinegar tabs daily

Black Walnut & Clove & Wormwood wormer...available everywhere

Neem also kills lots of bugs

Olive Leaf Extr or Pau d'Arco are both great antifungals, antivirals and more

Colloidal Silver

Salt/Peroxide Baths I also add some aromatherapy to bubble bath and throw in: Lemon, Eucalyptus, a little clove, lavendar and there are others that are good for parasites

Ginger, Ginsent, Green Tea

Also Garlic tabs...Im taking 1500 mg daily

Silica homeopathic is good for clearing things out of the skin

Nat Phos homeopathic is good for alkalinity worms thrive in acid states

Eat lots of eggs...has sulphur in and is good for adrenals (stress)

Arsenicum Alba homeopathic I have read will cure cutaneous larva migrans, skin maggots and other similar parasites so might work in right dose

Take good quality vitamin I use Vitamin Worlds Green Multi pretty good...keep you healthy while your body is under this attack

Magnesium 500 mg daily

Also taking Sulphur homeopathic 6C 2x daily

1/4 tsp baking soda in glass of water 2x day

Morgellons help: I moved from indianapolis to spencer indiana 3 years ago. We never had problems like Morgellons until we moved. I think some how this Morgellons is related to Lyme. Indiana is the capitol of the limestone industry. There are a few limestone Quarys in our area. The fuzz balls and fibers we see in our home and on us resemble those fibers found on lymebusters under jeuvenile Nematomorphus. We use a lot of garlic and vinegar. Before going to bed at night I find great relief after bathing I rub regular cider vinegar directly on by body all over. I have a dollar store spray bottle filled with vinegar and I spray it all around my room and on my bed. I get relief. Vinegar I found out has 93vitamins and minnerals in it. Try to eat garlic as well. I hope they find out what this is soon. I am tired of No Answers. This vinegar spraying works for me. It is not a cure, but I can get a LOT OF RELIEF>

How much is a "vile"?

EC: Nan probably meant to write: "half a vial", not "have a vile".

"A vial (also phial) is a relatively small glass vessel or bottle, especially used to store medication as liquids, powders or in other forms like capsules. They can also be sample vessels e.g. for use in autosampler devices in analytical chromatography." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vial

I have morgellons and i am being treated by dr. staninger in los angeles. She uses Far infra red radiant heat therapy treatment and i think that anyone that has morgellons should use this treatment. I was in the hospital emergency room three times the week i went to see dr. staninger. I couldn't breath due to the morgellons attacking my throat, lungs and esophagus. It took 3 weeks using her far infra red machines and other machines she has at her clinic and now i can breath again when i didn't know if i was going to live when i was in the hospital. I purchased two of her far infra red machines to use at home and i sleep under them every night. I recommend this therapy for morgellons. And i just want to mention that Far infra red is different then just Infra red. And the machines dr. staninger uses are specifically tested for morgellons patients. I would only purchase the ones that she sells for safety reasons since morgellons patients have silicon in their bodies.

Oh and one other thing. If you want to test and see that your morgellons is not a parasite and is a man made technology. Buy Pedifix tea tree oil lotion and Endure 2000 lotion. Rub the pedifix on your lesions and then rub the endure 2000 on your lesions. You will be amazed at the silicon plastic goo that comes out of the lesions. This technique will help to flatten them as well. Also, if you look at your lesions under ultra violet light you will notice they have a flourecent glow. This is a man made disease we are dealing with another natural.

WORKED TEMPORARILY

I am not cured. I am better on some things. I tried the salt and C with regular salt and nothing happened. I have not found salt tablets, the company apparently went belly up. I got rid of the sores with peroxide and salt. I can't stay on the diet, but it does improve things for the few weeks I can do it. For a number of symptoms I use chuan xin lian, 4.00 at the vietnamese herbal store. Just chuan xin lian, not the mixture with other herbs. 4 pills 3x daily. It is an antiviral, antibiotic. The Chinese use it for spirochete diseses like leptospirosis and syphilis. Peroxide baths:1 large Wal-Mart peroxide plus 1salt container full. I think both are roughly 32 ounces. I had large sores that wouldn't heal and joint pain; vision problems, respiratory problems, fatigue, bouts of violence, depression, problems thinking, concentrating, memory, and I get lost in places I should know. I use coconut oil to moisturize after the baths, and black specs come out of my skin. Once whole black threads and tarry gunk came out after a bath; I wiped this off with paper towel and threw it away. I am pretty sure I got this from bedding.

Lyderm Cream

I suspect I have Morgellon's Disease...I contracted many Black Fly bites while golfing up north 2 1/2 yrs. ago. These bites seemed to evolve into many more of which bled profusely, itched, stung and had many, many black dots which I suspect were the bugs/insects contracted from the fly bites. I have been to 4 GP's 2 Dermatologists. The last Dr. claimed it is a "bacterial infection". I have 3 creams - all from the cortisone family - "lyderm" (applies 2x per day) is most effective. The lesions are now beginning to clear up. When they start (a small pin prick of a lesion), I apply the Lyderm cream and it clears the lesions up more quickly. I was tested for Lyme Disease which proved negative. However, I firmly believe this problem evolved from the black fly bites. I might add - sea salt baths help in a big way as sea salt softens and soothes the skin. I also have experienced hair thinning/loss, which seems also to be a symptom as my hair begain to fall out shortly after the fly bites occurred. Stress seems to be a factor (so I have read) and frankly, I have had a great deal of stress in the past 3 years. Whether this is a factor, I'm not so sure. Black flies carry germs and parasites. I hope and pray someone finds a cure for this hideous disease. I also wish to add, since I started using the Lyderm cream, the itchy feeling in my eyes, ears, nose and scalp has disappeared and the black specks on the lesions seem to be somewhat diminished. Hope this helps.

Morgellons Commentary

I have had the Morgellons like symptoms on three different occasions within the last 3 years. Eyebrows, eylashes, and hair follicules flaking with red, white, black and blue sand like grains that itched and floated in the air. If I was standing in the bathroom, you could noticably see the red and blue and black dots on the counter and in the sink. I collected some of these in different colors and size to take with me to the doctor.I was told by emergency room staff that I was delusional and that my evidense was nothing more than lent. I could see floties resembling lint floating in the air un high volumes in areas such as the bathroom when using a black light. These blue, white, red and sometimes black dots seem to land and dissolve into the skin with a small bite like feel. They grow in size and resemble freckles when on the skin's surface. It proves unsuccessfully if you try to remove these using normal medication for scabies. Also if you try to pop the pimple like things, they just ooze and leave open sores that have a dark ring around the opening. I and my 3 yr old son both have excema. Mine is localized on my thumb and his is on most of his body. Although I do not think that we are ever rid of this (parasite?) I do believe that I have found ways of maintaining in a dormant form where no new marks are visible until another exposure (usually a year later). Also I am relieved of the crawling sensation. Usually when people get these sores they avoid being outside due to embarrassment and stay covered up. I believe this worsens the problem. The two other times that I encounterd this I was able to see a reduction of symptoms through two common factors. The first time I treated it as if it were scabies. I followed normal cleaning (house and personal) procedures for Scabies with little results and started taking myself and my children outside for at least 50 minutes during the hottest times of the day. I made sure we participated in some actvity that was under direct sunlight and caused our bodies to sweat. The itching lasted for at most 2 weeks after repeated daily exposure to sun. I again treated the house and ourselves for a scabies infections while continuing daily sun exposeure. I also started cooking with freash garlic and onions about 4-6 times a week. We could no longer see them on our skin or feel them but I did continue to see black dots in my son's stool (he was around 1 yr old when it first happened.) The second time was about a year later and I followed the same procedures but also happended to begin tanning in a tanning bed. This quickly sped up the healing process of the crawling feeling on my skin and things seemed to go away. It seems after cleaning out my parent's garage, I opened a box and it felt like dust went up in my face and bean to sting a little. Later that night and in the subsequent nights, I noticed what appeared to look like glitter, then red dots and blue dots that would smudge when you wipe them. Then my face, body and scalp started itching. I saw signs of what appeared to be dandruff. I've come to realize that it always starts out with exposeure then into your skin and almost like an flower pollenates. it sends of white san like things from your hair shaft. Then the turn into red dots after the white ones (sometimes blue) land on your skin. They look like pen marks or very small blood blisters. The next stage looks like the red dots get darker and then larger until they resemble a freackle. But if you are familiar with your body, these freckles appear too quickly and seem foreign to wher you want to sqweeze them. It only seems to make it worse. I have used apple cider vinegar and found it very successful at removing the dark, freckle like ones. Unfortunatly I also recieved the burn mark on my face from the ACV to the point where I'm not sure which is worse. I keep vaseline continously on it to prevent exposure to new infection while it heals. After seein gthis website, I will try to consume the ACV solution 1/8 to 8 oz w2p 3 x a day for a while in combination with tanning again and will report back on the result. I have also had shingles about 5 years ago and do believe that this attacks hosts who are more likely to have asmtha, some form of HPV (shingles, coldsores), Excema, allergies and sinus problems. I believe that allows for an entrance site for the infection. I also believe that this is the same thing that many IV drug users and meth addicts complain about when they say that they feel bugs crawling on their skin. I personally belive that my family's exposure to this happens near the same time of year that we recieve a visit from a family member who is a known meth user. I believe meth addicts and herpin addicts contract this because those drugs make your body sweat and pores are stay opened, giving an entrance route to the (parasite?) similar to the open sores from people with excema, the torn blood vessals from people with allergies or sinus problems (from rubbing their nose). I have also experienced nerve problems and tingling sensations in my calves and muscles similar to those of shingles when I have noticeable symptoms. Some nerve problems that I would experience are similar to those of a drug user, I would paranoid, self- conscience, and easily irritated. I do think there is a connection between hay fevers, allergies, excema, HPV, morgellons, and the sciatic nerve. Loss of memory and lack of concentration are slo appearant but I'm unsure if that is from being consumed with something that is unexplinable and considered dilusional by mAany healthcare professionals. Currently, I would not seek help from a doctor again for fear of ridicule and accusations of being delusional by people who would not even take the time to view my "evidence" under a microscope or by my children's doctors when I brought examples and other articles pertaining to similar accounts. I was told that "the internet makes doctor's out of most patents these days." Sad but true. So I will continue to repeat previous steps and add a ACV and h20 drink to my treatment this time and will report back with the results.

Alcohol and Peroxide, Homeopathy
Posted by Nan (Minneapolis, MN) on 11/13/2008

Also wanted to mention that a much cheaper way of fighting these things...

I put have a vile of alcohol and half Hydrogen Peroxide and put all over active area...shere crawling occurring - for me a lot of it starts in the feet and legs so I smear it all over there...seems to keep them from crawling at night - it's a lot cheaper than TTO and seems to work as well or better. The TTO price has shot up recently...must be a lot of people with this stuff, it's driving the price thru the roof.

Also, found two homeopathics that in combination at least for me stop them from crawling - got 9 hours sleep last night from using them and the alcohol... Arsenicum Album - 30c or x and also Nux Vomica - 30c or x... seem to work so far... I've gotten a lot of relief over time using the homeos...I'm convinced therein will lie our cure - it vibrates throughout the entire body and will kill them when we find the right one...also, if people get samples of these critters you can get a remedy made out of the worms themselves and that would kill them right off!

Happy bug killing!

Morgies Don't Like These

Just wanted to mention that nothing calms these beasties down like eggs... don't know if it is the sulphur in eggs but when I eat eggs they go away...it really slows them and takes away a lot of their power. Unfortunately there are very few foods that they don't like so if I want to keep them at bay I have to be on a diet of eggs...meat is okay too...lettuce, celery, not a lot of other things do the job... But Eggs are like magic...try it. I make up a batch of boiled eggs and pop one when I need it...

Don't eat sugar, processed foods, wheat, most foods stick to the foods above for a couple weeks you will see results. I've soaked in everything, making myself sick w/all those things, dried my skin out with so many salt baths I swear I look 10 years older...eggs are healthy, the perfect protein they say.

Morgellons Commentary

I am surprised at the lack of information and general implied skepticism when describing Morgellons. Perhaps you were meaning to sound unbiased but I as well as others believe it to sound quite the opposite...an unbelievable condition that people conjured up and are diagnosing themselves via the internet...not so, my friend and I hope that you never experience such a horrifying disease.

The fact of the matter is that when a person becomes infected, while one might try their hardest to reject these bizarre progressive symptoms, there is no denying that something is very, very wrong...and then the strange and disturbing journey unfolds right before your eyes that are oddly very similar in nature and description, to what other people are going through - even right down to how many doctors they have been to that are just as baffled by what they are hearing and seeing from their patients. It is very easy to "self-diagnose", once you have these distinct patterns of infection that your body is struggling to battle. For example, not any other illnesses that are in the medical books today, would describe an itchy, crawling sensation, only for you to continually find unwanted and strange 'artifacts' that you had never seen before coming out of the pours of your skin. The samples taken of this infection could not be produced from a person who has Delusional Parasitosis- if there really is such a disease-- especially when they are collectively the same in nature. And this is just one of the symptoms of this very complicated infection.

Furthermore, how and why are all conditions given a name? Names are given to categorize a set of symptoms. From past history, we have all seen how long it takes for the medical establishment to acknowledge a new and rare disease. While many people were suffering a long time with this illness and trying to seek help from medical professionals, no one was really listening. So, from a will to survive and out of frustration and desperation, a collective and intelligent group of sufferers took it upon themselves to compile the similar symptoms of a disease that was of unknown etiology. They became pro-active in hopes of not only finding a cure, but to prevent this from spreading to other unsuspecting people - such as the person who wrote this description of Morgellons. Now, thanks to these people who were "self-diagnosing", we have the CDC studying this, an independent lab researching, as well as a upcoming medical program that will be addressing this pandemic on national television.

Digestive Enzymes and Sulfur Supplements
Posted by Rathmussen (Montreal, Canada) on 05/19/2008

MORGELLONS: I've been reading a lot about this condition because I happened to come across it in a forum. My heart goes out to all sufferers! I just thought I would add 2 suggested treatments that I came across because they weren't posted here. One woman said she had great luck with putting digestive enzymes on the sores, the idea being they will eat through protective proteins surrounding the infectious organism. Another poster suggested taking sulfur supplements and using it topically. An interesting piece of information I found is that there is a high incidence of concurrent Lyme disease with Morgellons, so treating that might help your immune deal with the skin infection. Two antibiotics were also mentioned (Doxycycline and Rifampin), but the poster suggested you had to take it for a year or two to clear it up. If I had either of these conditions and they weren't getting better with other treatments, I think I would try that chlorine dioxide (MMS) that there is such a buzz about. It's not well tested and it might not help, but I haven't come across any testimonials that suggest it's actually dangerous in such small doses. I think I would go batty if I had this! I hope everyone triumphs over this darn thing! Good luck!
