Dietary Changes

I have read many of the posts on the mite infestation section here and have come to one conclusion. While it is important to treat your living enviornment, it is equally as important to treat your body's internal environment and by that I mean, CHANGE YOUR DIET. If mites find a good host, one with a polluted body (compromised immune system) they move right in. On the other hand, if they find a body that will not support them then they move right along to the next person. I think this logic is simple. Bugs go where it is beneficial for them. Make your body into a place that is not beneficial for them and they will leave. Or simply never move in. Many of us here in the states live in a protected eviornment and by that I mean we are able to actually servive despite having awefull diets and bad health. In countries where the standard of living is "lower", that is not an option. So guess what happens when we visit these courntries?
Get a reality check people. Go organic and seek out good health and you will be happier healthier and the organic food industry will grow and we will prosper as only the human race can.
Garlic Tea

I have struggled with a severe infestation for 9 months now and have tried most remedies here with varying success but never been cured. I thought about garlic a while ago but saw reports by some people saying tablets were not making much of a difference. Then I came across a separate article by Dr Edward Group recommending fresh garlic tea for enhanced immunity and I thought I would have a go.
Method: slice 1 large or 2 smaller cloves thinly to expose as much surface area of garlic as possible. Put in a cup and cover with boiling water for 10 minutes. It is important to put a saucer or cover over the cup to prevent garlic oils from evaporating.
After one cup I felt a gazillion mites exploding under my skin, like tiny fireworks going off for a good 15 minutes. Day 2 I had 3 cups throughout the day. Not a single crawl felt again. I am continuing for a while as my cats have the mites and apparently garlic is toxic to cats - so until they are are cured I'm drinking the tea.
I am so happy!!!!! So easy and cheap - I can't believe how hard we struggle and yet the cure is so simple. I would also recommend spraying bed linen, carpets and shoes with salt water to kill ones in the environment. I also put salt in my shower puff and rinse my hair in salt water. It has been effective but the garlic tea has been the real mite exterminator!! It makes sense that the only effective cure is going to be from the inside. Please try this - you will be so glad that you did!! Xx

Hi Om from BC - below is the posting of the person who cured them with Kerosene.
YEA] 06/09/2010:
Sharon from Wesley Chapel, Fl: "Well, I finally fixed it. Killed all the mites. Thanks and much thanks to Ted's borax remedy. However, what killed them fast is plain old lamp oil, coal oil, purified kerosene. Put in a sprayer bottle and went to town with the purified lamp oil sold in crafts store for the hurricane style lamps. Not much smell. Used the oil on my hands to treat my face. Really sprayed my long hair and scalp.didnt burn or have but one side effect-- brought all those critters up from underneath the skin and they chewed their way up. Looked like a sunburn where they were, and welts formed. But I kept dosing it the next day and the next and it dried them up. Itches were gone in 4 hours. First night I have slept thru the night in four years. At first I thought the lamp oil had burned me, but then I realized that it was only red where I was itching. Even my face and eyelids were not "sunburned" the tenderest part of the body. Now that I killed them on me, I treated the rest of the house, using Ted's borax mix, bleach where I could, took a week to treat everything properly to where I was not getting bit. Its been 4 weeks. Once you kill them on yourself and have a quick spray-on for the re-infections, it goes fast. The cars were the worst problem. Hooray

Re Mite infestation cures;
For around 3.5 years I had mites. At first they would get me in bed or when I sat on the couch. I thought fleas, baby ones, so I de flea the cats, the bed, the couch the house but still I feel them crawling in my ears, eyes and up my nose eventually everywhere. I was going mad. They attacked me at work too. I searched for them, used a magnifying glass of high strength, went to the DR, went to the health shops. Rosasia appeared and got in my eyes as well as my whole face. I looked so bad and felt miserable. My family did not get them. But why not?
I showered every day and night, washed everything every day, vacuumed the entire house and bed every day for years and during that time I put everything on me that I read might work. I became the chemical woman, then the natural cure woman and eventually just to sleep I stuffed my ears with wet cotton wool so I could sleep, I believed they came up through the pillow just to get in my ears. Yes they were mites and they nearly drove me around the bend and back again. I have probably poisoned myself so have had to detox my self.
I started to keep a note of exactly when they attacked, one common denominator surfaced. It was when I was still that they got me and they attacked in force when it was dark and I was still. Conclusion was it was me, the mites live on me. Of all the things I tried one helped initially and may have killed most of them and the other stopped them in their tracks. But the thing that made them go away was piece of advice from my boss who had heard of it before in Columbia.
Firstly I sprayed the bed and myself and everywhere I layed or sat with plain Original Listerine, yes this well and truely got rid of a lot of them but I couldnt put it near my eyes or nose and eventually the undiluted listering burnt me. I read on this site that saliva works and yes it does oh joy it works and all I had to do was pur it anywhere I could feel them. But what really really worked was the advice from my boss..... Stop having sugar!! I immediatly stopped putting sugar in drinks or in anything I ate, I bought non sugar youhurt and reduced it else where. NO MORE MITES at all. They come back when I have a couple of days where I have indulged in coffee with sugar and I generally have too much sugar than is good for me anyway. If they appear the saliva stops them. Saliva has a potent acid when on skin so I guess it kills them. Safe for my nose and eyelids and ears too.
I am so relieved to be free of this torture. The Rosasia started to go when I gave up smoking.
I hope this helps someone somewhere. So please at least give this a go for a couple of weeks at least... stop your sugar intake and use your saliva on your skin and Listerine on where you sit or lay.

borax/dermodex mites
Hello, im new to all this but im so glad i found this site. I found it through searchs at curezone.com i knew i was dealin with nanoinsects and iv been using the exact measurements of borax and alittle Hydrogen Peroxide with a liter of water that Ted says to do. Iv been on it for about 5 days now and many many of the dermodex mites came to the surface of my skin. Its really gross, its all over my arms, shoulders and back. All over my stomach and legs. I dont know how i got it but i know i had it for many years since iv suffered from eczema all my life, im 27 yrs old now.
I really hope this stuff works quickly because as of right now i dont even want to go to the store. I got long sleeves but its really bad. I took a few baths with borax and i know its working. I always wanted to get to the source of the problem and attack it but i never found out how till now. No matter how long it takes i hope to be cleansed of all these nasty bugs. I also wanted to write and thank you for leading people to the truth and what most doctors wont tell us. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.
sincerly,

Unfortunately your jumping flea is a mite called Cheylietella. I've fought these pests since 2010 and finally found a white speck in pc that moved so ran to the States Chief entomologist and he diagnosed it as the Cheylietella mite. To make things worse for you, you inject these things day and night, they get in your blood stream, THEN THEY CAN BECOME WORMS. so you need to start cleaning your gut as well as house, you, pets, hubby if you have one. The latest parasite discovered in 2013 is called Rope Worm, it is still so new that even the doctors who will treat you probably don't know about them but they are there. 2nd stage you will see clear bubbles in your stools, they expel the bubble to move about in your intestines. My best remedy so far is spraying day and nite with 3% Hydrogen Peroxide, using it full strength. in my town, Walmarts can't keep HP instock and then we go for almost a week before they can restock plus the same thing with 70% rubbing alcohol. That is the other thing I spray with a lot. A medical school has proven that in killing mites it takes 4 minutes for rubbing alcohol to kill them and 15 minutes for Tea Tree Oil to kill'em. I spray my body with HP before I get in the shower, let it set 5 or so minutes, shower, spray again and if these fool things are embedded in your skin the HP will sting a few minutes and when it drys up yu will feel these tiny things that have popped out of your skin and hanging on your skin. They also don't like Oregano Oil so I mix it with Peppermint oil and water and spray with that but my best results is still HP. I have even had a heart attack plus stent which the doctors told me that I should not have had a heart attack, they didn't come out and say mites are in your blood stream but said "something showed up we don't see very often" I use to be an RN so they knew what they were saying I would pick up on. I've contacted the Senators, Congress people and they all have told me to go to the Health Dept. The Health Dept hung up on me when I mentioned "mites". We have one certified Horticulturist in our town and he says this place is working alive with all kinds of mites and bed bugs. The pest people won't even come out if you mention mites. Hope my saga helps a few and wish you the very best. I'm 89 and I'll be damn if I let these things kill me, they're trying real hard but it ain't going to happen. Also, put your faith in God and let's all do a lot of praying. lol

Diatomaceous Earth, Peppermint and Oregano Oils

Thanks for Earth Clinic I was totally free from mites pick up from handling fire wood. My doctor had prescribed medication that I had read on Earth Clinic was very toxic and didn't work that well. I didn't want any part of this if I could avoid it. I also read someone on Earth Clinic recommended Diatomaceous Earth which I have used for years for internal parsites with great success. I decided to try the diatomaceous earth first. Wasn't real sure it would work because the mites are in my skin not inside of me. Since diatomaceous earth is non toxic I wanted to try it first. Have to interject I did try other topical remedies - different essential oils and others things with no relieve. I am amazed in 3 days of diatomaceous earth no mites. I took 1 heaping teaspoon in a half of glass of water a day. I did have trouble with the mites remaining in my hands. I read in the Young Living desk reference book that equal amounts of peppermint oil and oregano oil would kill chiggers or ticks. I mix these two together and experienced lots of itching for about 30 seconds and then they died. Thanks Earth Clinic and all of those who post here.
Avon Skin So Soft

Hello, I have Demodex mites (my diagnosis). I used Avon's pesticide straight from the bottle on my face and almost immediately these white things started oozing out of the skin all over my face! The they were white soft appropriately 1/8 of an inch long mostly round and tubular. After I waited about 20 minutes I thought they were finished. I am guessing there were at least 100! They washed off very easily. About an hour later I went to check on my face and I guess there were about 20 more. I did this pesticide treatment on the day I took my second day of Ivermectin pills. I also take Supercritical Extract of Neem Leaf Oil Capsules 2xd and NAC 2xd. These demons itch me to the bone. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and am definitely immunosuppressed. The amount of itching has improved significantly. The skin on my face is quite dry so I plan to wait a few days or until the severe itching returns to repeat. Can someone please tell me what those white things that came out of my skin were.

Thank you so much for that post. I'm going through the exact same thing I've been to five doctors five different doctors and they all diagnose me as soon as I say I think I have an overpopulation of fights they diagnosed me with a psychosis something delusional a paranoia. It's very disheartening. It's ruining my life my marriage is almost non-existent because of the mites. I can't sleep with my husband because he is 23 years older and I'm afraid that I will give him something. I complain about it everyday because for one it hurts it itches and it just makes me feel very disgusting. I have been going through this for 9 months I cry all the time. I have taken lots of evidence in for them to test and they just act like they want no part of it. Like they don't know what to do with it. They don't even want to look at it much less send it to a lab. These doctors who are supposed to be professional are trying to make me think that I'm crazy and in essence they are the ones driving me crazy. This is hard enough to deal with. And at the age of 51 because they didn't do their job I ended up cutting 11 inches off my hair and I can't even say that without crying. This past year has taken so much from me. And this is not something that you can just talk about with people because then they think you're gross. Because they are uneducated and do not realize that virtually everyone has mites on their body. I too have a weekend immune system and have chronic anemia. As I type this I'm standing here in the bathroom with a clay regimen all over my body and my hair praying to God that this will at least suffocate some of them and get them out of my body. I'm literally at my wit's end. I don't go anywhere I don't do anything because I don't want to infect or infest someone else. I wouldn't even wish this on my worst enemy. The Crawling Sensations into rolling the bugs off of my face and my back are horrible. I'm afraid if I do go somewhere and while I'm talking to someone they'll start running across my face. I can't even hold a job right now because again I don't want to give them to somebody else but also because sometimes the itching is so bad. And it's not a normal itch. It's a different sensation all in its own. My body is creating antigens and antibodies to fight them off, which kind of defeats the purpose for me anyway, because they too crawl. I have been able to capture some really interesting pictures and I've learned a lot about parasitology. I have the follicularium on my scalp in my hair and on my face and my eyelashes and I have the brevis on my chest and my back and groin unfortunately. I virtually shaved off all the hair from my body. I now pencil in my eyebrows and wear a spike. Of All Times be going through a midlife crisis. I look at the mirror and I don't even recognize the person looking back at me. I am so unhappy and so depressed. And I pray to God that He gave me a miracle. And I'm not asking for any kind of spectacular miracle I'm just asking for a doctor that can refer me to someone that is accepting new patients and knows what the heck I'm talking about. Until then I keep searching the internet looking for ways to take care of this myself before I do end up in a padded room. God bless you and thank you so much for sharing your story you have no idea how much you've helped me today. Love in God's name, Tracy

I have a infestation of mites for 7 years. I have found a solution. Neem oil. I put it in a diffuser in living room and bedroom. I put it in a spray bottle with alcohol and spray all my clothing, furniture, car and anywhere I frequent. They also make a Neem pet spray. As soon as I sprayed it on my dogs they stopped biting and scratching. It is God sent. It's immediate too. Believe me I have lived in hell and my poor dogs. I finally figured out where they were coming from. The dog groomers. This is the answer. Thank you God
Cold, Witch Hazel

We have mites of some sort and are going crazy. It is so frustrating to feeling these things crawling on us, biting us, and unable to see anything. We first noticed them on our dog when we petted him and before long they seemed to be everywhere there was fabric or carpet. We keep trying tons of things and have found two remedies to be very effective.
1. Cold: for clothing, bedding and shoes, like outside freezing temperatures or the freezer for 8 hours.
2. Witch hazel for a body wash or spot treat on the body. I suggest these to methods be added to the natural remedies.
Here is a recipe with natural ingredients to remove mites from the body.
- 4 cups vinegar
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup witch hazel
After showering, spray on in the shower and rub. Air dry.
Treat the Septic System

i"ll try to make this as short as possible. Hope it's helpful to someone. If you have a septic tank on your home and you're washing your clothes w/mites you are washing the eggs right into your plumbing system. They hatch in the septic system and crawl right back up the drain and into your floor boards. The boxed stuff at the grocery store won "t kill " em either! That's what happened to me. You have to treat your septic system! Not sure with what; pool chlorine? Also keep bleach tablets in toilet water, I wrap these things in tissue paper and drown em in it, usually combined w/"urine therapy". When I wash my hands and brush my nails, I also make sure anything that came off of them goes completely through the trap under the sink and down the drain, you don"t want them crawling up the sink drain. I spray w/bleach cleaner immediately also. Didn't see this anywhere on your site. The septic tank is usually installed within 20 ft. of the main bathroom on most houses. This may be the reason some people aren't getting anywhere in the battle. Hope this helps somebody.

Try the following, nothing else worked in my experience, but this worked:
1) 100% tea tree oil
2) 100% alcohol Buy large quantities. Mix the two; apply to every itch. Apply to eyebrows and eyelashes, but be especially careful using alcohol near your eyes!
3) Neem oil. Add some to bath ; it will bring them out of the hair follicles. Don't bathe before bed, because all the young ones will come out and start to itch, so you need a couple of hours to treat them. Adding nice smelling essential oils will help neutralise the bad odour of the neem oil . Submerge head fully.
4) Bleach Add a few capfuls to bath for immediate relief, but not to be used more than once every few days. Wash your clothes and bedding every day.
If you're reading this, you're probably going through hell. I feel for you. Doctors probably won't help, so don't waste your time. It took me months to work this out, but trust me, this should help you get your life back. Good luck :)
Biting and Crawling Mites
Posted by Robert Henry (Ten Mile, Tn) on 02/18/2015
HI U ERIK, , , , , , you right boy, it not about health, nor cleanliness . You don't have mites, they have you. I went down this trail a couple of years ago and I can tell you now that you will whip them by knowledge and perseverance. I did the MD thing with no help. Heat will kill them in your bedding, clothes , etc and I think that is what finally got them in my body. I was fortunate enough to have a combo sauna and old heat with a FIR detox to boot. Mites die at 120+ degrees , that is why you max your water heater and dryer. Borax kills them so add that to your wash. I then did a Sauna every night at between 160 and 180 to get those in my body. And followed that with a long soak in stuff. Don't forget the eggs. They will be mites in two weeks so there is no short cut. You have to keep on keeping on.
There are many species of mite parasites, but my dermatologist was too stupid to send my sample off. He called it a rash and discarded my sample. Look into EC 's archives on this subject, read and develop you a plan.
Wish you the best. ======ORH=======
Essential Oils

Hi All! All of you need to get neem oil, cedarwood oil, tea tree oil, peppermint oil and virgin coconut oil.
Mix neem, cedar, peppermint (10 drops each oil) in some coconut oil. Apply this from head to toe. Cedarwood would suffocate the bugs and their larvae. Neem is a neuro toxin of some sort ONLY on them and not you. It makes them lose appetite for food and sex. If the eggs catch a bit of neem they become sterile. Peppermint calms the itchy bites. Coconut oil is a natural anti bacteria and virus. Apply this mix after shower. During the shower - use a shampoo with added teatree oil, neem oil and cedarwood oil.
Vaccum the house. Then mop the house with the same mix of oils in the mopbucket water.
Spray your bed mattress and wooden frame with the above oils added to the water. Best is to fogg the house with cedarwood oil and neem oil. Kills everything from bedbugs, lice, mites, fleas- the lot! For those who have the dried up skin that the mites have used.... apply apple cider vinegar and then 10 minutes later apply lavender essential oil too. All the best!

I have found after suffering -and trying assorted remedies this has WORKED
for mite infestation - denatured alcohol in a spray bottle all areas - couches, beds, floors , mats outside of doors and carpets wont hurt or stain fabric or leathers evaporates quickly
15.00 a gallon at most home centers -get enough to do it twice depending on the size of your house and how many beds , ect (i used aprox a gallon per application 1200 sqft house )make sure all your windows are open when you spray -hope I dont need to say... Don't smoke while applying or near open flame. It kills the buggers instantly and the second time gets the offspring that were eggs.
do it twice 4-6 days apart
almost instant relief- breakes the mite lifecycle
Bathe in Dr. Bonners peppermint casile soap 3 capfuls to a bathtub 1 time a dayand within 1-2 days you will start to heal with no new bites
As I said this WORKS is relatively inexpensive and saves you from having to hear it's all in your head - you are crazy, you cannot see these lil buggers with the naked eye but they bite and burrow lay eggs move and do it again so I hope my experience helps some of you desperate to be free from this.

I know EXACTLY how to cure demodicidosis (demodex mites) especially on face. They eat away at your eyelashes. It's horrible. All you need is one thing..... A bottle of oil of orgegano. Clean your face at night before bedtime and rub ooo into your skin. It hurts and stings. Do it every night until your face starts peeling. You will have relief within a few days because you've poisoned the mites and they die. This is the best.... I nearly went crazy from these mites and didn't listen to doctors. OOO is the greatest.

I got Bird mites from my son's parakeet. The bird also gave them to my cats who gave them to me. I washed my cats first in blue Dawn dish soap then in Neem Pet Shampoo. The next day their fur was already growing back.
Doctor's thought I was crazy and they wouldn't help me so I used the pet shampoo on myself because I saw that it was organic with all natural ingredients I figured what could it hurt. It helped me too. Now I found out that there is also a internal neem leaf product that can help rid you from the inside out of these pests. I can't wait to try it. I think that Neem is going to be my new best friend I hope this will help some of you that desperately need it. Tami
