I have had an ongoing issue with a whitish discharge, doesn't seem to smell, but I notice it every time I shower & clean myself out. I've made appointments with my gyno but every time she checks me out she cannot find anything, maybe because I'm showering before I go in (not sure), but each time she's prescribed antibiotics which haven't worked. So I gave up! It seems like I've had this forever. Question, is this normal or is it some kind of infection or STD? Just about 2 years ago I noticed a lesion on the outside top part of my vagina still in the pink area right before the hair. I again went to my gyno & she said I had Herpes, which is really surprising to me since I've been with my husband almost 22 years & have not been with another man. Just recently I've been having break outs from this, which is leaving me feeling fluish each time - I'm wondering if the 2 are some how related. If any one else has this problem & what anyone recommends for me to use. I am new here but I am not into medications & would love to hear about some natural cures. I've been reading on here for months but don't know really how to tell what exactly I should be using, ugh - help!!! I think doctors are to easy to prescribe antibiotics & I refuse to be their test subjects any longer.

It could be herpes Zoster which is a form of shingles and can be very painful, there is a cream they prescribe for it . Shingles usually follow an emotional event or stress and can outbreak in many places on the body including the eye.

What I have is not a rash & is not that painful until the lesion bursts open (just a bit of stinging), so I highly doubt that it is Herpes Zoster/Shingles. I just get it in 2 spots right next to my hairline in my vaginal area. It started with one spot, but then I think it spread to another by being infected by the other. That was before I realized I had to make sure it was covered so it wouldn't spread. I believe it did start a few years ago - during the year of my first outbreak my daughter's boyfriend was killed in a car accident, a month later my father died, then a month later after that my brother died. So it definitely started after a stressful period in my life. My gyno also asked me if I husband gets cold sores & said that is possibly how I got it by having oral sex during one of his outbreaks, is this possible. I read something about putting hydrogen peroxide right on the lesion full strength - has anyone else tried this?

Shingles can settle in the nerves with no visible signs on the skin, pain can last for years in the nerves.
Coconut oil is anti viral and treats some venerial diseases. Ingesting a small amount 1/2 tsp. and increasing as tolerated up to 1/4 cup a day. Apply topically, you could have die off symptoms so GO SLOW.
Sorry you had to go through so much trauma in such a short time frame. B vitamins help with stress, ( when you feel like eating all the time, you have too much ).

So very much has been written and documented about the effectiveness of BHT as a treatment for ALL forms of the herpes viruses, I am surprised you have not heard about it. It seems surely worth a try. BHT cured me of one of the oral types of herpes virus. I used the 250mg of BHT per day with water only on an empty stomach method. BHT can also be mixed with regular type isopropanol you can by at any drugstore for use as a TOPICAL TREATMENT ONLY....Oscar

I am very sorry for your recent and sudden losses. What you are describing sounds like herpes sores and I think you may be in a outbreak cycle from profound grief. Grief is one of the main triggers for genital herpes outbreaks. Unfortunately, an outbreak cycle can go on for many months so you might work to strengthen your immune system as soon as possible. I wouldn't waste too much energy focusing on how you could have gotten genital herpes. It does happen to a lot of people, even older ones. I know a couple of people who got it in their 60s for the first time.
People have good results lessening the severity of a genital herpes outbreak using medicinal mushrooms for the immune system and olive leaf capsules. Regular acupuncture treatments would help alleviate grief, and in my opinion, will be a very important component to stopping an outbreak cycle. I don't know much about BHT, but Oscar's recommendation sounds like a good one to research. Please keep us updated.

I've never heard of medicinal mushrooms, but I did try olive leaf extract for a year, continuously twice a day at the exact same time each day, but it did nothing. I will research the medicinal mushrooms however.

Hi, I am concerned that I may have contracted Herpes and am searching vigorously for possible cures. I believe that there is a lot of bias in the American medical community, and the idea that Herpes and other viruses are "incurable" is merely the status quo. With corporate influences on the industry from pharmaceutical companies, who knows?
It looks like there's a strong community on here, so I thought this would be a great place to pose my question and see how much hope there is.
According to American medical standards, if a disease's signs have not returned after 5 years, it is considered cured. I think the standard was made for mostly experimental reasons, such as cancer research.
So, who has 1) experienced NO outbreaks or symptoms for at least 5 years AFTER using a specific remedy (without using the remedy itself during those 5 years - I don't count a disease to be cured or virus eradicated if you're dependent on something indefinitely), and 2) has been RETESTED and received a negative result AFTER having tested positive initially?
I think if those 2 conditions are met, it's pretty likely the disease is cured, for good.
Also, if you are cured, what worked for you, exactly?

Hi. Someone who is cured by changing his diet using everything from the onion family.. Onion, garlic, shallots, chives, leeks. Boil and drink. He's been retested many times and nothing in the blood. Well, doctors cannot confirm if you are cured because they can only diagnose you with herpes if you are having an outbreak.
For example, three years ago I had a std test, full panel, and there was no mention of hsv2. But I was still getting outbreaks, I just didn't have one at the time. In 2010 I was having an outbreak, the doctor took a sample of it (it hurt A LOT) and confirmed that it was hsv2.
But I saw a post from a woman who stated she hasn't had an outbreak in 9 years, and she was taking lecithin. There is also an old post from someone who knew a person who saw herpes growing in a lab, and lecithin killed it (the woman who hasn't had outbreaks claimed she read an old post about lecithin curing herpes, I assume is that one).
I tried lecithin years ago but I was impatient and I wasn't taking the correct dosage, I was taking a lower dosage.

Somewhat, till I found out flounder cures. Flounder loaded with lysine. Cook plain unseasoned, take vitamins, real green coconut water, herbs... Best to get supervised while on regimen. The man who got cured did it while being supervised by iridologist. His weight, blood counts were constantly monitored, organ. She was also a medical Dr.30days regimen with no food. I just recently contracted herpes so I have not had it long. I firmly beileve that it is not incurable. I believe there is a cure but we aren't allowed to know it since there's so much many info just suppressing the virus. I have researched and researched and I have read numerous articles as well as people's stories about how it is indeed possible to cure herpes with 100% oregano oil. I'm going to be buying some soon as well as changing my diet as it was suggested. Just really want to hear thoughts on this. :)

Ppod from London! I have to totally agree with you about the Oil of Oregano for treating herpes. I tried the Wild Mediterranean source as well but the supplement never touched my herpes outbreaks. I used it for 6 months straight too. This was pretty expensive as well. I was taking it in pretty high doses internally as well as applying it topically to the spinal area where genital herpes hides. I was using close to 1 bottle per month at I believe around $45 bottle the best I can remember.
I've not had much success at all with any supplements though in treating my long term herpes (20+ years) problem. I'm on the BHT protocol right now and hopefully I will see some improvement with this soon. I'm at just over 2 months now on the BHT treatment so I've got to give it a while longer before evaluating the results. Hope you find a solution for your herpes because what works for one doesn't mean it will work for all. God Bless!

To Prioris from FL. I haven't necessarily used Probiotics for treating my chronic & long term herpes infection. I've been taking them for digestive issues.
I've been on both the supplement form of probiotics as well as making my own water kefir from grains. Kefir water is much more powerful than taking probioitics in supplement form.
I do combine them both though but use them at different times of the day. I don't use them at the same time. The water kefir has helped me quite a bit with digestion but not with the herpes part of my sickness.
I use these probiotics all in pretty high doses too so if it was going to do anything for my herpes I would have seen it by now. Been doing this for months. I'm just keeping my trust in the BHT protocol now but am considering taking that protocol up a notch or 2. Thanks & God Bless!

Well the peanuts thing is indifferent to me because is free in most restuarants, beer almost all enjoy a cold beer especially in hot climate. I live in Mexico Southern. Tea Tree Oil soap or oil is excellent helper, Apple Cider Vinegar, there are no health food stores here. I use apple vinegar, topical apply, drink cool. Comments - I am not in a case with big break outs or something. I have a couple sores that may not even be herpes. I like the study of medicine and yes - cut out cigarettes, coffee. I agree, don't do either. Use a natural cure, not pills. I am a dentist and mouth herpes I haven't seen at all; very rare here anywhere. Well, there is BHT [ butylated hydroxytoloene ] and a very many people have successfully used BHT to treat ALL types of herpes viruses including genital herpes. BHT alone does it. You do NOT need or desire a laundry list of additional supplements for BHT to work. In fact the BHT treatment works best if kept simple. Use BHT only, by itself with a gulp of water on an empty stomach. One or two 250mg to 350mg capsules of BHT per day does work for many people as a treatment for genital herpes....Oscar

Greetings from the UK! I have recently been researching natural remedies for HSV and HPV and stumbled across Earth Clinic. I am currently looking to improve my overall health by detoxing my body, eating healthily etc prior to starting either an H202 protocol or the BHT protocol (sooooo much information about both, I am feeling like a rabbit in headlights! ) I think I am leaning towards BHT...
I am a long term HSV sufferer (although I use the term 'sufferer' relatively loosely, as I tend to get only 2 - 3 mild OB's a year. I was diagnosed in 2001, sucked it up and got on with my life. I believe (although not formally diagnosed) I have had HPV for approximately 4 years also (a fellow HSV partner, who very kindly shared this 2nd gift).
As part of my research for getting uber healthy in preparation for the BHT protocol, I have been reading about the benefits of oil pulling - does anybody know of any reasons why I could not combine this while on BHT? I want to give my body the best chance possible, so am concerned that one might contra-indicate the other in some way... I would be opting for the 100% pure organic coconut oil.

I'm taking acyclovir, but the pills were quite pricey at $120 for a bottle of 70 pills. I would like to do something a little more natural and less expensive.
I've been reading about cornstarch as a way to dry up the sores, and I tried it today and got instant relief from the burning rawness. I actually felt happy today for the first time in a week or so since the first sore appeared, and maybe I can get a goodnight sleep. I am going to try some of these remedies listed here in the future, but hopefully I can avoid having another outbreak for awhile with the regular use of ACV as suggested in some of the posts. I love that I have a bunch of it in my cupboard just ready to use!

Hi Chris, the symptoms have drastically reduced. So, I am now on the p73 oregano oil 3 times a day and coconut oil 3 times a day - a 20ml tablespoon. I've stopped taking as much vitamin C. Wasn't sure how long to take such high doses. I got to 24g a day. May try that again. I'm hoping that I'll have good news at 6 months of trying which will be April. I have days on end where it's like I don't have anything wrong. But then something triggers the mildest of tingles to remind me. Will keep you posted.

I called Dr Robbins in NYC. He told me that he had treated many herpes patients with ozone therapy and there are 3 types of Ozone therapy, but the method Dr Robbins uses is an injection of air directly in the vein of the arm. The normal treatment is 3 times a week for a few months. I was coming from out of town and I was told we were going to do "what I call the Dr. Robbins fast track method" twice a day for 6 days per week for 3 weeks in total. I was told only 3 patients have an outbreak after treatment. Dr Robbins told me that they were probably reinfected due to their risky lifestyle (eg, a couple that swings)
During the treatment I was told to take as much Vitamin C as possible..I took 2,000 mg every 2 hours.
After 3 weeks of treatments I went and I got tested and I still had the virus. I eventually went 6 weeks and I still had the virus.
Before the treatment. I had many outbreaks as one was healing another would begin. During the treatment. I had one outbreak right as I started and then none for the entire time. I took that as progress and possibly cured. I did double the time I was told I would need.
A few weeks after going out after the treatment I started getting outbreaks again. This is my experience with the ozone therapy.
I just started doing the Bob Beck protocol and it has been 2 weeks...To early to tell
I will say there were other patients there for other ailments that were making progress from Ozone therapy.

@Jasonbourne: It is essential to keep the body a little on the alkaline side PH because that greatly increases tissue oxygenation. Also, combining 35% FG H2O2 up to 15 drops 2x daily in combination w/ O3 therapy would seem impossible to not have a therapeutic affect.
Also, Lipheric Vit-C is the most powerful, by far, form of C. BHT and Chanca Piedra are very good antivirals.

I am now only getting a tingle for say 15 minutes bi-monthly. I want it gone though and then get tested. How much DMSO do you put on so you do not get sick now? I put a very light coat. The DMSO that I use has a creamy texture, so I just basically run one finger half way across the top of the jar. Just enough to get some on my finger. First, I'll rub the oregano oil onto my spine, then the DMSO follows on top. It seems to be working for me. This is the first time in close to a year that I haven't had any symptoms!!! I'm so happy..... my fingers are crossed it will remain this way.
Yes, I did test positive for HSV2 antibodies back in Dec/2012. Since then, it's been non-stop w/the tingles/irritation. That is until I started the OOO/DMSO!! I may retest if I don't have any symtoms or OB's in about 4 months, or so.

Well, the oregano oil and DMSO did not work out so great after all. I was still having OB's. About 2 months ago, I tried Kyolic Immune Formula (Garlic pills w/other immune boosting ingredients like vitamin c and mushrooms) and so far it's been working great. I take 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening and my OB's have been kept at bay.....or at least I hope!

Lysine definitely works but it unfortunately is not a cure for me, but it helps me manage the symptoms. If I know I have a stressful time coming or I have my menstrual time coming, I'll take one 1000mg per day to prevent. If I am feeling some irritation or flu like symptoms ill take 3-4000mg. Nuts/ vegetarian diet is also contraindicated for this issue due to the argentine but only when my immune system is low. There have been times when I'm really living well that I can eat nuts or anything and don't even remember I have this but add in just a little stress and its recipe for disaster. Still searching for a more lasting cure...

I have been taking 4 20ml tablespoons or organic coconut oil daily along with 5 drops of oil of oregano 3 times a day under my tongue since my 1st outbreak in June. I have not had another outbreak, but still get bi-monthly tingles. I am also rubbing oregano oil on my spine 3 times daily but not convinced that's doing anything. Every month is a test since I know I still have herpes when I get that dreaded tingle which is so tiny but is a reminder. In my mind the symptoms are seriously not noticeable but I just want all symptoms gone! I will post again WHEN I don't get that monthly tingle. Once that happens for 3 months in a row I will get a blood test and report back.

I bought the h2o2 off of amazon and it came with a little bottle dropper that I could carry around with me. I'm not sure of the name but the bottle is blue. For the first month after finding out I had this I took every immune system boosting supplement I could find at the vitamin store but when I retested using the igg test I found that the level went up by like .2 so.. I ordered the h2o2 and started taking it right away.. the pills started to run out and they were expensive and so I stopped taking them. It also kind of worried me with taking the h2o2 and the pills (there were 29 of them) because I wasn't sure what type of reaction there would be and it was hard to get the timing right with eating and having to wait 3 hours after to take the h2o2. I kept my diet basically the same.. I tried cutting out chocolate but that didn't really work for me. How do you know for sure if you were cured? Did you take the hydrogen peroxide on the day you were tested? Because taking that or any antivirals will make the test for antibodies show up super low. It will not be accurate. Have you been tested again or had an outbreak since this post?

Hi, I have been having Obs for nearly a year and have the occasional outbreak 4 times a year, its normally a small lump that appears somewhere different on my labia, it stings and itches. It normally appears after my period and when I am stressed and run down. I have had cold sores in the past so don't know if I had infected myself or if it came from my ex partner.
The treatment I first used when I first saw it and it works a treat. C------ cold sore patches, u can buy it from Priceline or your chemist. They are for your cold sores that appear on your lips and they are invisible. Its harder to peel of the sticky patch so u need patience and use a mirror, u will end up throwing away a few that get squashed.
Its all worth it cover the ob with the clear patch during day night after washing your Vagina and keeping it dry and clean. My doctor said it was a great idea because it keeps it dry and stops it from contaminating another part of your Labia and its invisible, although will come off with lots of moisture so night time is best when you are sleeping.
I also was prescribed Valtrex and together with the patch it took 7 days to completely clear up, with one tablet a day and a healthy diet and try rest as much as possible.
If you cannot buy the patches, straight away because you are busy with working fulltime kids ect, then use either diluted tea tree oil, or Aloe Vera plant or Banana skin to sooth the pain, garlic also sterilizes it but it stings.
I am yet to try Acetone, but the cold sore patches are great because they work and stops the ob from spreading.

There was what I consider a very important and instructive posting from Karin from Germany regarding this issue that was posted in this forum back on March 3, 2012.
Karin`s strategy is to hit those genital herpes outbreaks hard with a 500mg dose of BHT Twice a day for 3 days at the first indications of an outbreak and then to drop that dosage to one 250mg of BHT per day with water on an empty stomach. This is what I consider a very instructive posting. Here is what Karin had to say:

Dear Alia from Birmingham UK, Let me see if I can help you. Did this bump you describe EVER occur PRIOR to trying the BHT ? Is it like a big pimple, or more like a boil ? Or something else ? Some people have experienced different skin reactions with the use of BHT. For now, cut back on the BHT to one capsule every other day. There is no big hurry with this treatment. We need to find a dosage you are OK with. Also these capsules can be opened up and you can tap out half the capsule and try half a capsule per day. Look, this BHT really does seem to work remarkably well as a treatment for hepatitis C. For some people it takes getting used to. Also a menmber of this forum did report breaking out with pimples. He said he always broke out with pimples when detoxing. Hello Cured from Chicago. I just bought some of this Wild Oregano Oil online today. I will be receiving it early next week. I read to do a combination of internal & external treatment with this oil. I also read that genital HSV-2 hides at the lower portion of the spine along the nerve pathways.
Is there a specific location along the spine to rub the oil externally? I know where the lower spine is located but a particular lumbar(s) area?
I guess I can just rub a general area at the base of the lower spine to make sure it's covered. I'll start out at 3 drops twice daily internally & increase gradually to the 5 drops 3x daily. I've suffered from HSV-2 for over 17 years. This looks like a promising cure! However, I'm also going through a candida cleanse/protocol provided by Bill here at EC as well. Heck, maybe by the time I get this candida overgrowth under control the HSV-2 might just disappear as well but why wait?
Plus, the oil is also antifungal as well so it can only help with my candida problems too. I probably even have other viral infections I don't know about. Can HSV-2 spread to other parts of the body especially if you have a candida overgrowth? I think with all of my health problems I might even have EBV(Epstein-Barr Virus) even though I've not been diagnosed with it.
I'm sure I have other viral related concerns though. This oil will take care of a lot of my health issues. I bought enough for at least 2 months of treatment. Hopefully, I can get rid of this awful candida problem & take care of the HSV-2 and/or other viral overloads with my complete protocol for candida & now the Wild Oil of Oregano multiple cures.
