Lemon
Posted by Marcin (Toronto, Canada) on 12/28/2014

Hello Bill,

In your book you advise against eating fruits, especially citrus fruits, because they contain "citric acid that uses up alkaline body bicarbonates during digestion".

However, the juice of lemon is used in alkalizing remedies that you recommend to alkalize the body.

Could you explain this contradiction?

Moreover, after drinking lemon juice, I get UTI and pain in my back, and I wonder whether is this some kind of die-off. I do not experience the same reaction after antifungals such as VCO.

Bill, I have a question on supplemental yeast.

There is bakers yeast, brewers yeast and nutritional yeast. How do you know which to use and can any be used if you suspect candida condition. I am most interested in taking one for the b vitamins they may have. I don't seem to tolerate supplemental b vitamins in ANY form and also know that my digestion is better if I can cut out all grain. So now I have trouble with insomnia and wondering if b's can help?

Thank you for any help.

Take a multivitamin as a base only. For sleep, take calcium/ magnesium pill2 of them at 250. This will stop any cramping and the calcium will hep you sleep. Do not drink or eat any dairy products. You will make things worse do not even drink kefir. It still is a dairy product with added probiotics.

Lugol's Iodine

Hi Bill,

I have been dealing with Candida for over a decade and just bought your book. I have many questions for you, but will start off with:

I'm fearful that taking the Lugol's iodine will conflict with the Armour Thyroid I'm taking. Would you suggest not taking both at the same time? Or will they not affect one another? I just dealt with having too high a dosage of Armour and it was hell, but I'm afraid to completely go off Armour. Your thoughts are appreciated!

Best, Cleo

My English is very poor for the writing, not for reading. I am from Brazil and I read an article in the Nexus magazine where a doctor cured a pacient with severe Candida desease with a lot of Lugol. The artcle was about some wrongs in current Medicine or something like that.

Dr, Tulio Simoncini, from Rome says that Candida causes a lot of trouble in the human body and says Sodium Bicarbonate is the solution. But dont be afraid, the human body is very strong also. Put a lot of coconut, coconut oil, Palm oil, garlic and Neem in your diet. About Neem, You can see in YuTube. See, also about Pau Darco, a great enemy of cancer and Candida. See also about Propolis Thank You, Earth Clinic and everybody

Thank you both.

Last two questions: 1. My nutritionist is pushing kelp over Lugol's; how do I explain why Lugol's is superior to Kelp when fighting Candida?

2. Bill, which are you in favor of: purchasing the Niacin and B50 Complex as separate supplements or purchasing the ATP Co factors (which I believe contains both)?

Hi Cj...Just to also mention and make clear that both hypothyroid issues or candida problems can both cause brain fog, lethargy, tiredness etc for different reasons. Generally when people have serious candida issues they are usually hypothyroid as well. But this is really a chicken or egg argument. The point being that the anti-candida protocol that I advise should address both these problems due to the LI content.

Hi Sam...The reason lugol's iodine should not be taken with borax is that neither Ted from Bangkok nor Walter Last, in their own borax protocols, have ever recommended adding lugols iodine as well to the borax solution. In the past, I have tried to find out why online and the only thing that I can figure is that as the borax and LI pass through the stomach the acidic HCL might catalyze or cause a reaction between the borax and LI. I also suspect that it is the molecular iodine component of LI(not the potassium iodide component) that is reactive with borax, since Ted has also recommended using just potassium iodide or SSKI together with borax on EC.

I think Ted would probably be best at answering this one, since he is a biochemist.

Hi, recently, well today, I've came across Turpentine for Candida. Would this be safe for an 18 year old to consume and if so how much should I take? Here is what I have, which may or may not help:

  • white tongue
  • psoriasis on scalp/forehead
  • brain fog
  • strained eyes / losing vision!
  • on my left leg, by the shin, I get muscle spasms
  • irregular BM
  • very tired

Thank you so much.

Turpentine definitly works. It works in multiple ways. One is that it breaks up bio-films but there are other things that do that too. I found this article that names a number of things that work that can be added to Bill's protocol. I am wondering if anyone else has tried any of them?

I've tried some of them in the past but I didn't know about bio-films then and I think the turpentine works through out the body. I am going to try the turpentine in nose spray because if you have any candida in the mucus of the sinuses then a little drip down the throat will restart up the candida in the intestines.

Turpentine

Hello Mr. Bill Thompson: My question is the following on the frequency and turpentine protocol: what is the proper protocol for taking the turpentine cleanse for a chronic candida overgrowth?, I have searched the internet very extensively, and have spoken to Dr. Jennifer Daniels on various occasions, here in Panama where she is at the present moment. She is an advocate of vitality capsule to clean and have 2-3 bowls movements a day, and the Sugar/ turpentine protocol 1:1,2 times a week, and then a maintenance does every 3 months.

Now if you go the oil protocol she recommends - castor oil over olive oil at a 4:1 oil to turpentine. I have just recently started the turpentine / olive protocol on a 1:1 2 times week going on my 4th dose in 2 weeks. I still do not know what to expect, other than a little dizzy and hyper for a bout 4 hours or so, but I drink about 4 glasses of water and it calms me down.

I have been on a pretty strict diet for 1 year, low low processed sugar, lots of good drinking water - maybe 3 quarts of water daily, fresh broccoli, fresh fruit, ( bananas, papaya, kiwi ), oil pulling 2 times a day with EVCO, supplement with a good multivitamin men's one, 150 mcg kelp, Molybdenum chelated, organic raw apple cider 1 teaspoon 2 times and 1 whole fresh lemon 1 a day, 2 probiotics daily 15million CFU, milk thistle, MSM, raw plain yogurt, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, gluten free brown rice, skinless chicken, fresh fish, home made tortillas, 1 hard boiled egg every other day. Which oil protocol do you feel is more effective, the castor or olive and protocol, since do I do not want to go the sugar route at all.

Thank you, Cheers, Nicholas

Mr. Bill: Wow very extensive reply okay, I get it; your preferred protocol is 1 tsps. turpentine with 1 to 3 tbsp. of castor oil and 1 tsp. of the VCO.

This is once or twice a week as starters, and then you cut back to once a week maintenance dose for how long?.

I will use the 1tsp of the organic diamond turpentine along with 1 or 2 tbsp. of CO and 1 tsps. of VCO as starters and see how it goes okay, then I will take a 10 day break and resume on a once week protocol.

I am shooting for the right balance and turpentine protocol along with the antifungals, probiotics and supplements. I had a while back, a bad die-off reaction episode. I was doing the grape fruit seed extract 2 times a day 125 mg, and the now candida clear 2 times a day, now probiotics 10-25 billion CFU 2 times day.

After a week I got a skin rash break out with an itch, it was mostly underarm armpit rash and genital rash, started the molybdenum, stop all the antifungals except the probiotics and that has helped, it clamed things down. The deal here Mr. Bill is not going crazy with too many supplements and getting dependent on them. This can stress you out, which can make you wonder when or if ever will I control this candida overgrowth, because it seems like you make 1 foot of progress only to drop back and lose 2 feet.

This is something new I've had for the past 2 years since I was on a antibiotic treatment for about 2 to 3 weeks after a motorcycle accident, this along with the stress I had, was the trigger. Things got worse with the fungal treatment and steroid creams, which I then hit my zenith, and then it had spiraled out of control and I was really stressed out. But now today, I know what is the cause and protocol procedures, at least I am not lost in space like 2 years ago when this hit me all of a sudden and had me scrambling for answers, as to why the food sensitivities, skin rashes, bloated feeling and hives breakout in my forearms and neck.

I strongly feel that sharing good information from experience, with trial and error and being truth full is key here at this forum. Some have more experience like yourself, others have a different approach, etc. etc., but the bottom line here is controlling the Candida overgrowth which has spiraled out of control and is making our health and daily lives' miserable. Thanks for all your information, support, shared information, knowledge and the time to answer not only my questions and concerns, but the many others who write to you as well.

Cheers, GOD BLESS and keep up the good work, since its all about sharing information from our experiences. Nicholas

Mr. Bill: What time of the day is the best moment to take the once a week turpentine protocol, (1tsp organic diamond turp/2tpsns. of CO/1tspns. CVO). Before dinner, after dinner, a few hours after dinner, or maybe an hour before bed? How do you react or feel after you take your turp protocol - okay?

Hello:

Mr. Bill, I just bought your book okay, want to clarify 3 things about the turps/ castor oil/ evco protocol. Best time to take it, frequency to take it and proper ratio of Turps/ castor oil / EVC oil. This is what I am doing at the moment unless you specify otherwise. Every 10 days ( 3 times a month ), 1 tspn of diamond turps, 2 tbspn Castor Oil, 1 tbspn EVC oil, followed by 2 glasses of spring water. Taking a good multivitamin, kelp, MSM, kelp morning at evening take 250mcg molybdenum chelated and jarrows milk thistle, before bed 1 1000m L-Glutamine / 1- Garden of life ultimate probiotic.

Awaiting reply, cheers, Nicholas

Hi Nickyg...I would take the multivitamin and kelp with breakfast. The MSM and molybdenum should be taken together on their own outside meals because molybdenum gets absorbed into the blood better with MSM and water.

Take the Turps + CO + VCO about 20 minutes before eating some food. I normally take 1 teaspoon of turps with 3 tablespoons of CO and one tblspn of VCO -- but I'm nearly 200 lbs in weight. So if you weigh less then you should perhaps adjust down the CO and VCO accordingly.

It's best to initially take turps this way because turps is not very soluble or miscible in water and you initially need it to act in the intestines. And the CO and EVCO with the food helps to carry and spread the turps remedy deeper into the intestines where it can do the most good killing pathogens there.

Later on, when you are relatively clear of pathogens in the intestines, you might consider taking turps with some water only -- this time taking it outside mealtimes. This way, on an empty stomach, the turps gets rapidly absorbed directly from the stomach into the blood -- and this is where the turps will help to get rid of any further pathogens that are in the blood, organs and tissues. This turps method is particularly useful as a remedy if you have any serious bloodborne infectious diseases.

For a long time now, on a daily basis, I also take about three or four drops of turps in my mouth and just hold it there, spreading it around. Turps will kill all the bad stuff in the mouth and is also absorbed quickly into the gums and roots of the teeth to act as a disinfectant in these regions. You should hold the turps in your mouth for at least 2 minutes -- longer if possible -- and its ok to swallow it. I cured a wobbly and painful capped tooth root infection this way and the tooth still remains healed and firm to this day.

I normally advise taking the turps + CO remedy once or twice a week for serious candida problems-- but if 10 days suits you better that should be OK.

The milk thistle and glutamine can been taken at any time -- but usually best to take these supplements with meals.

If you find that you aren't making much progress or headway with your protocol after a few months, I would also seriously consider adding lugol's iodine(higher dose), borax and alkalizing to your protocol as well as per my book. This threesome has also worked very well for me against candida problems in the past.

Mr. Bill thanks once again sir for your prompt, professional and courteous reply. This my routine, first thing out of bed, I rinse my mouth with spring water and spit it out, then do 10 minutes oil pull with EVCO, and spit it out, rinse my mouth out with salt water 4 ounces, then I take half a lemon with 6 ounces warm water, then I take my 1- 1000mg pill l glutamine with 1 probiotic pill, after 10 -15 minutes I have my breakfast, and after my breakfast, in the morning I take, 1 men's one multivitamin, 1 kelp 150 mcg, 1 omega krill oil 500mg.

For lunch I take just 1 teaspoon of organic ACV with lunch, in the evening meal I take another teaspoon of organic ACV and after dinner I take 1 milk thistle. 2 to 3 hours later before bed I take L glutamine, probiotic, and now I will add the molybdenum and MSM okay upon your advice, will this interfere with my L glutamine sport (now foods) / probiotic (primal defense ultra).

During the day I make sure to drink 8 to 10 glasses of water okay. The only fruit I eat is at breakfast where I make a daily shake of 2 small cups of orange juice, 1 banana, cup of papaya, 1/4 granola, 1/4 walnuts for the fiber. I am 63 years old 6 feet tall and now weight 154lbs I lost 15 lbs after my motorcycle accident back 2012, and have not been able to gain it back, due to this new restricted diet okay. The idea is be stress free as much as possible and not worry about taking too many pills and supplements . On the turps protocol ( turps/ CO/ EVCO ), I will stick with the 10 day revolving time frame and later on try the turps with water to clean the blood. I greatly appreciate what you do for myself, others and the earth clinic community. Just for curiosity how old are you, are you Filipino?, I am a great fan and follower of my favorite boxer Manny Paquiao. Awaiting reply, take care and cheers, Nicholas

We are just on day 6 of the parasite cleanse but have not yet implemented your program. We have spoken previously, my son Eric has had Psoriasis for the past 3 years.

I felt an oncoming yeast infection, so I thought I'd do a little of everything to knock it out. I drank a couple cups of Pau d'arco tea, lots of garlic (the candida cleanse formula) tumeric, yogurt and what I really think did it... GSE. I took about 10-12 drops in about 12 oz of water. I took all of this within the span of an entire day, and by the end of it, I felt like I had a bad flu. Terrible body aches that woke me up, night sweats, headache, no appetite. This lasted for about 2.5 days. The only thing that helped mildly with the pain was vicodin (had it from wisdom teeth exaction)

I had candida coming out of everywhere.. it was nasty, but I knew it worked. Afterward I felt fine but am scared to take GSE again, at least that much. Start slow

Bill, my alternative doctor has given me liquid iodine forte. The bottle says 1 drop 0.05 ml iodine as potassium iodide 150 mcg. Is this as good as lugol's? Is it worth taking and how much to equal lugol's? He has me on two drops a day. Is that enough for the candida protocol? Thanks for your help

I've had systemic candidiasis for as long as I can remember. I've tried many things, but almost everything I try seems to have the opposite effect on me, making me worse. I recently read about using baking soda, but one of my questions is, doesnt this lower the acid in your stomach? I have low stomach acid so I don't want to make that worse either. how can I treat candida while not lowering the stomach acid? What is the best, most recent protocol for this? I read the threads and there are so many different things it's very confusing.

There is a very persistent myth that Candida albicans cannot survive a high (alkaline) pH. The fact is that C. albicans can survive very acid to extremely alkaline pH. The primary difference is the form it takes on dependent on the pH. At a low (acidic) pH C. albicans remains in a less pathogenic yeast form, and its growth is inhibited. When C. albicans is exposed to a high (alkaline) pH it promotes the formation of its hyphal growth. This hyphal growth allows C. albicans to not only become pathogenic, but also to allow it to invade deep in to tissues and to promote organ damage. This hyphal growth is inhibited at an acidic pH of 4 or below reducing tissue invasion and damage.

This is so true. I am a case in point as my urine PH is very alkaline and I have been struggling to get my PH to 6.4. I have found that the Candida is also extremely difficult to get rid of. I have been following Killing so Sweetly protocol and have had to be very aggressive with the Turpentine protocol and have been using all of the suggestions (excluding the alkalizing recommendations). I'm also doing 2 to 3 times daily water enemas and 1 coffee enema. Tons of Candida is coming out with the water enemas.

Even this protocol assumes that you will have an acid PH. I have seen slow improvements but the Candida still is persistent after 6 weeks.

General Feedback
Posted by Bill (San Fernando, Philippines) on 07/29/2014

Hi Sgarsena...You should try and achieve a pH of between 6.4 and 6.8 for both urine and saliva. A pH of 7 is also acceptable for both your urine and saliva.

Currently I've been working with an autism group and we have recently discovered some important information. All children with ASD problems seem to suffer from both serious candida and parasite problems which are hard to cure. So this information also applies to people with serious candida issues and other gut diseases as well.

Recently there was a parent of an autistic child who gave the normal child's turpentine dose together with a much stronger dose of castor oil and his results were quite remarkable. His child also excreted a much larger discharge of parasites and candida biofilms than normal and, strangely, no Herx or detox side-effects occurred. His child behaved normally throughout this protocol.

Normally, after taking the turps or MMS protocols (or any candida-kill or parasite-kill protocol) to kill the pathogens and parasites, the ASD child always behaves strangely -- aggressive, drunken or OCD behaviours are always usually apparent due to the presence of excess toxic poisons and heavy metals being released in the gut which enter the blood and affect the brain. But this didn't happen with his child. So this was a breakthrough.

To understand why the castor oil worked with the turps so well and to save alot of space -- please read this document and this article as to the reasons for this particular protocol working so well.

You have mentioned that you aren't making much progress with the candida protocol that you are using. The above explains the possible reasons why you are not making progress and also shows you a solution -- use the turpentine/higher dose castor oil protocol in your regimen together with Bentonite and Chlorella. Just add these simple protocols to your own protocol.

Just to also mention that I've had a bout of serious food poisoning over these last few days. I had lots of gas, shooting pains, gurgling, watery diarrhea and hot stools.

So this was an ideal time to experiment. So I took the normal dose of turps(1 tspn) with only a mild castor oil dose -- just one tablespoon. This didn't cure the food poisoning problem but it did seem to move all the food poisoning issues and symptoms into just the lower intestinal area. I therefore took this as confirmation that this turps/mild CO combination was unable to act throughout the whole of the intestines.

Next(yesterday) I again took just the normal amount of turps(1 tspn) but increased the dose of castor oil to 3 tablespoons with an added tablespoon of VCO. Yes, this had quite dramatic effects throughout the day.

But this morning I did not feel ill, had more energy, had no apparent intestinal issues and had a normal stool(small amount). My conclusions here was that due to the effects of the greater castor oil dose, the turps was able to work more efficiently throughout the whole of the intestines to kill and eradicate the food poisoning infection successfully.

Hi Daisy-b...The link to the Doctor Fungus website is here. I know this link works because I physically checked it before I put in the link. The Dr Fungus website is a very good site if you want to learn all about fungus in the body. It's run by an independent research group called The Mycosis Study Group and I also give their link in my candida book as well.

If you still can't get to the website with the above good link, then think NSA or other govt agency -- they may well be deliberately blocking you. While these agencies are so busy creating fear from terrorists as justification for their Big Brother approach with robbery of liberties and freedoms as now being the norm, they are also working hand in glove with corporations and cartels such as Big Pharma to help promote their products and defeat the alternative med opposition. For quite a while now the NSA has been working very closely with Google, FaceBook, Microsoft etc on the internet. Not only are they watching you, they are deliberately interfering with your free choice and website access on the internet as well.

As further evidence of this web interference, let me say that I access research sites like PubMed, Medline and many others quite a lot in my own research and I have noticed that -- this last year in particular -- there are times when I have great difficulty accessing these research websites easily. There are also days when I seem to have have great difficulty accessing the EarthClinic website itself. Usually I get an "Unable to connect..." timeout error and yet I can access all other websites quite easily and without problems. And I've recently upgraded to a faster internet connection -- no difference. And as I've already described, there can only be one true logical explanation for this strange site access problem on the internet.
