★☆☆☆☆WARNING!
Coconut Oil. I have been using CO for a year now and I have no outstanding reports to make on it, but today I tried the CO bath. Now I am disabled and I have a handicap hand rail and I use the non skid mat in my tub and I never gave it a thought that when I went to get out I could not. I used my wash cloth and a towel for more traction but I was not strong enough to overcome the oily tub and mat. I struggled for a long while and it took awhile for me to get turned over on my side so I could use my painful knees, but I finally made it up and out. This is just to let others who are disabled in their legs, knees, etc be careful and know that you are going to be very slippery. I am laughing now, but it wasn't funny at the time. For the record I have used CO on my face for a year now and I cook everything in CO and I take it 1 tsp at a time in my protein drinks. I do not do the TB amount. so far I have no bad re-actions. I just hope it is doing something good inside.
Warts

Virgin coconut oil cured my plantar warts. I had some plantar warts on my foot for about a year, then I started rubbing coconut oil on my feet to help soften the skin and make walking more comfortable. After about 2 months of this, I was just starting to think of going to the doctor to have them removed (with much dread) when I noticed that the warts had shrunk. Then about 1-2 weeks later, the dead skin just peeled off like a callous, revealing soft healthy skin underneath. It wasn't an overnight cure, but the time was a small price to pay for not having them dug out! I know they were warts because they had the little black spots in them, they hurt or bled if scraped, and a couple of small ones had appeared elsewhere on my foot. I also use coconut oil in food preparation on a regular basis, as well as topically on all areas of the skin.

I got a strange looking thing-ee on my hand between my thumb and index finger. I thought it was a boil, but my doctor thought it was a wart and suggested putting salicycic acid on it. I did but it burned like crazy after a few hours and looked only slightly better after 2 days. I was supposed to give the acid 10 days, but decided that was not the right cure. Instead I rubbed I coconut oil into the strange growth a few times a day. It disappeared after only 3 days. I wonder if it would work for moles too?

Great info. I have been using coconut oil in all kinds of ways and it is very helpful. It moisturizes my skin, is great for my hair and helps me to lose weight. It is one super food. Thanks.

I would like to know where to purchase pure coconut oil, other than Middle Earth, where a small 4 oz. bottle is like $7.00. I live in New Hampshire, any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

For overnight miraculous healing of wounds, apply coconut oil to it. This will also ensure that no scar is left behind.

I am curious as to what results people have achieved using coconut oil for reducing facial lines?

I read about Coconut oil on this site and went to my local health store to ask if they had any. They said no, but they suggested I take caprylic acid, which is in coconut oil and helps cure yeast overgrowth. I purchased it to help cure my athlete's foot and stomach discomfort.
I purchased it and I took one 350MG tablet daily as per directions. It did not cure my athlete's foot like I wanted, but I felt less hungry, less tired, and my stomach felt better. I also lost weight without serious effort. I've been taking it for two months now.
Warning: I experienced two things while taking this: stomach discomfort and a slightly yeasty odor coming from my body for a week or two.
The yeasty smell rubbed off on my washcloth and towels. I discovered by accident that putting a capful of hydrogen peroxide (the regular kind from the pharmacy, not the food grade kind) in my bathwater stopped this. It stopped me from emitting the yeasty smell and from transferring it to my wash cloth and towels.
