Neem

Neem Tree with Aloe cured my mites (scabies) after five years of itchy hell. The doctor prescribed me Permethrin cream on several different occasions, only to irritate and antagonize my parrasites. On top of that Permethrin is a horrible pesticide used in Raid and other icky substances. Not people friendly enough for ME to rub in head to toe. So after half a decade of pain and pesticide i decided to order some neem tree products off of a health store online. According the the indians neem is a safe sterilization agent and a wonderful organic pesticide. Apparently it destroys the mite eggs before they hatch, leaving no more generations to mate on. Lo and behold, three or four weeks after treatment started i was mite free. Take caution though, you may want to keep on with treatment for a month or two to make sure no eggs hiding in floorboards, the coutch, your steering wheel, ect, can hatch and respawn.

Love, luck, and lolipops!

Mix neem, clove and tea tree and you've got quite the lethal combination for these pests.

Well bleach and water worked 4 me too, but I also used antibacterial soap with aloe and very hot hot water and soaked for about 20 minutes. The hot water open the pores of the skin, the bleach kills the nest, and the aloe cures the skin from itching. When you get out the tub you must air dry.

I want to Thank this forum for finally getting my home back. My husband and I are complete rid of Scabies because of this forum.. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. Here is our story and what we did to finally rid our bodies and home from these relentless critters.

We tried the prescription creams and even took the pills that doctors prescribed and scrubbed my house and washed the linens every day, only to have recurrances every 4-5 days. After 3 failed attempts doing it the doctors way finally I headed to the internet and found this website. I read all the different posts for what others were using and having success. I guess you can say I gathered a mix of treatments. Here is what we did to finally rid our bodies and home.

1) Wrap the mattress and box springs in plastic

2) Wrap the couch in plastic

3) Steam Clean the Carpets -- We added 1/4 cup Chlorine free bleach, 3 Tblsp Dr Bonners Castile Peppermint soap and Zep Carpet Cleaner to mix with our water. Not only did this actually do a better job on our carpets then the cleaner itself ever did, but our carpets were minty fresh.

4) Take the bed linens off the bed every morning and straight to the washing machine. Add borax with your detergent. Then to the dryer until completely dry, I ran mine for 2 cycles. Spray the plastic on the bed with 50/50 Cholorine free bleach and Water, let air dry.

5) If you have pets, bathe them with the Peppermint soap made into shampoo. Use a nit/flea comb to remove any eggs that they are carrying. No the scabies don't infect them, but they do provide them with rides all over your house.

6) Remove daily clothing in the bathroom and place them directly into a plastic bag to transport clothing and towels to the washing machine.

7)Bathe twice a day, make the water as hot as you can take. Add Tblsp of each -Dr Bonners castile Citrus, Tea Tree and Peppermint oil soaps to the Bath water and soak. Then wash with one of the castile oil soaps which ever one you choose for the day and shower off. Towel dry and spray entire body with a 50/50 mix of the chlorine free bleach and Water. Place towel in the plastic bag with the clothing you were wearing and off to the laundry.

8) vacuum carpets every day.

9) each day spray every room in your house from floor to ceiling (everything- walls, doors, cabinets, floor.. Etc. ) with a 50/50 mix of chlorine free bleach and water.

In 10 days and we were completely free of scabies from our bodies and home. I say 10 days because we were clear of any outbreaks in 5 days, but we kept up the cleaning regiment for another 5 days just to make sure we didn't have another recurrance in the usual 4-5 days when we were following the doctor prescribed methods.

You have to be completely ready to stay with the routine, if you decide that you are tired and don't follow through with the cleaning regiment, I promise you will be sorry. Just plan on starting over as though it is day one all over again. Trust me you can't win the battle if you aren't fighting.

Once again Thank you everyone for posting your remedies, I hope passing along our success story will help someone else. Please pay attention to your body because the chlorine free bleach and soaps are not for everyone and I wouldn't want anyone to have an adverse reaction if you have allergies or sensitive skin to any of the ingredients used, then don't use them, create a mix of your own that works for you.

Six tubes of permethrin cream did not work. I used non-chlorine bleach when I did my bath. I submerged every part of me, including my hair/scalp, which was also infested. I saw improvement right away; the itching subsided and I started to be able to sleep! However, I did need to have a bath for 3 days running, then repeat a couple of weeks later, before the scabies went completely away. Maybe there were egss still embedded in my skin? I've been free for two months now.

Citrus Mouthwash
Posted by s888miles (Arcadia, CA) on 07/26/2009

I put 1 1/2 bottles of ___ Citrus Mouth Wash into a tub of warm water, and soaked myself for 10 minutes, completely immersing myself from head to toe, including hair. Afterwards, I dried off with towel. No rinsing needed. Then I put generous amount of perm all over my body, and left it on for 14 hours and rinsed everything off the next morning. I also washed all my sheets and comforter and towels daily in hot water, extra hot dryer. Clothes was treated in same manner, after every wear. it's worth it, even if the clothes shrinks. REPEAT for 2 days, or 3 days if still feeling creepy crawllys.

I think I am cured, I hope I am cured. This was by far the worse thing that has happened to me, and thank god for this website, or else I wouldn't know what to do.

OMG, I'm not going to tell Bobby what I discovered this morning or he'll freak out and get more stressed out. He's doing fine and only has a few bites left, but I discovered this morning that I have literally THOUSANDS under my skin!!!! I'm trusting the Lord totally on all this as there must be a reason for it all. It's not true about what the doctors say and the stuff you read on those medical websites about Scabies - it's not that easy to cure. Even on the Mayo Clinic website. If you want to know the TRUTH about his stuff, go to https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/scabies.html and read all the horrible, disgusting stories of these poor people's experience with this. I posted my experience on there too and am continuing to update the process that I am following so that it might help others too. I don't want to talk on the phone about this as I don't want Bobby to overhear me.

Bobby initially got hundreds of bites just from those first initial 3 bites that he got from me while I was feeding him. But with the process I'm using to treat him, he was 50% better after the first day, then 75% better after the second day. Last night he only had a few spots left on his face. Thank God. I am wearing gloves at all times and long-sleeve shirt and long pants so I don't spread it to him. I was pretty confident that mine was nearly gone because I only had one bite left. Then this morning I decided to put the hydrogen peroxide all over my body just to see if there were any more hiding somewhere. My upper right leg showed thousands of little red spots, also both of my upper arms and front legs. I even had them on the tops of my hands! I freeked out. OMG. Prayed. Calmed down and just dealt with it. Now I realize that those bites that I could see on my skin where where the bugs initially burrowed into my skin. They stayed under my skin and burrowed all over like moles laying eggs everywhere!

So, I asked myself, why is Bobby doing so good and now I have this. These have probably been here all along without me knowing it becuase my process was a little different from his. The process I used was to put the hydrogen peroxide only on the bites, wait for about 5-10 mins - as long as I could stand the stinging/itching, then get in the hot shower, and clean up with peppermint soap, then cover my body with the non-itch formula (coconut mixed with tea tree oil and peppermint oil). Then resume my day and do the same thing in the evening. I wasn't putting the hydrogen peroxide on my entire body because I didn't SEE any bites. Also, I would wash off the hp in the shower. With Bobby being paralyzed, I could not wash his off, so I just left it on then put the co mixture on his entire body. THAT WAS IT!!!! I needed to keep the hp on my entire body and not wash it off. I took a video of my leg so I could show this to others who are going through this. So, I put the hp all over my body, took my shower, then put it all over my body again, then covered myself with the co mixture. This seems to be working better now, but won't know until tonight. If the red spots lesson, I'll know that I finally have the correct procedure to follow. If not, and it is worse, I'll need to call my doctor and ask her to prescribe the insecticide (Permethin) and just do it as much as I hate to have to resort to that stuff. What choice to I have. I also learned that you MUST treat your entire body, even your head, face, ears, private area - everywhere, because when you put the hp on, they freek out and look for a place to go where it is not on your skin!!!!! I'm praying that I won't have to use the Permithrin stuff, but I am getting desparate to get rid of thes awful, disgusing things. I will run out of sick time in about another week, so much find a way to get rid of these soon. Here's some good news. Yesterday I was so exhausted I didn't think I could make it through another night getting up every couple hours taking care of Bobby. Today I feel much stronger - thank the Lord. I also lost over 5 pounds so far with all the workout of taking care of B obby, constant cleaning/sanitizing everything in sight, etc. You can't beileve the toll this takes on a person. Please keep praying for us. Thanks.

Update 8/19/11. Contining to use the clove oil. Going on third day of treatment and for me they are 85% gone, for my son, 90% gone! Thank God. Will continue this treatment until gone. Read that you are still contagious up to 10 days after the last bite is gone! Be careful. If you get infested again, just hurry and apply the clove oil treatment and it will not get very far. Keep up the cleaning for at least two more months to get all the eggs out of your house becaues they can cause reinfestation even a year later! Just read all the posts from people who have been there! Thank God we finally have a way to cure these.

My son is suffering from Scabies only on his face, neck, and head, so don't believe this OLD understanding of Scabies. Scabies in the US has become more verilent and resists many of the drugs dermatologists still prescribe. My husband has been treated with Scafbies for 3 weeks with these drugs and is only 10% cured. My son and I discovered the latest research on this in Austrailia about Clove oil, w hich kills the adults, larvae and eggs in 15 mins! But takes at least two weeks of continued treatment to get them all out of your body! Mix 1 part clove oil with 3 parts extra-virgin coconut oil (or olive oil) I'm using cococut oil because it has other needed benefits to keep the bites from becoming infected. After 3 days of treatment, I'm 80% cured and my son, who is paralyzed, is 90% cured! Thank God. Also read about other's experience with using clove oil at: http://www.topix.com/forum/health/scabies/THU ...

Permethrin
Posted by Not So Itchy Guy (Indianapolis, Indiana) on 09/08/2009

I was first diagnosed with scabies a year ago this month. I went to the doctor and they gave me permethrin cream. I was told to apply it the same way that you were, neck down, leave it on over night and shower it off in the morning. I followed the directions exactly as they told me, even re-applied two weeks later. The scabies never went away completely. I went back to the doctor and they gave me more permethrin. It didn't seem to really be working for me, although I have heard that it does for others.

In doing some research I came across several remedies that others are offering up as what worked for them. The simplest and most natural way that I have had success with has been using 10% sulfur soap, from the drug store. As soon as I used it the first time I noticed a HUGE difference. In the four areas of my body where they are showing the lesions seemed to diminish as well as the itching was lessened. The sulfur kills the scabies mite, but not the eggs so a couple months using this soap is what is recommended.

It's very simple, twice a day you get in the shower, make the water as hot as you can stand it, then get a wash rag and take the soap and build up a good lather with it. Apply the soapy rag to the affected areas of your skin and scrub it in. They recommend you do this twice a day until the rash disappears and then after it's gone you should do it at least once a week for a couple of months. This is what I have been doing and I have to tell you that it's really working for me and the best part is that it's very simple and very accessible for most people by going to the local drug store or even ordering it online. Good luck and I hope this will help someone.

Vinegar half & half water all over your body, note you will experience some sensitivity on skin, after rinse with vinegar, do a Peppermint Soap, like Dr. Woods, with anything else in the Soap is fine, an exfoliating soap also does the trick!, then put baby oil with Lavender all over your skin, everyday! Vinegar can also be used in laundering with hot water & ammonia mixed in... that will do, steam all your rugs, curtains, bed, pillows, then put plastic on the mattresses & pillows, then place your bed linen over, or the memory foam beds are totally resistant to all mites... trust me this will help, & eventually make your life free of those horrid creatures! God Bless & Good Luck!

I got scabies once in high school. I went over to a friend's house, and they had it all over, pets, and people. What I did was cover my skin with a thick oil. The type I can't remember now. I then covered the area with plastic wrap. I left this on for two days. I reapplied oil when it soaked in and added new wrap when the other got all messed up. It went away.

Tea Tree Oil
Posted by Frustrated (Central TX) on 09/19/2021

If you don't see bites, it is probably the permethrin that leaves you with alot of itching. It is a neurotoxin. You unfortunately will have this for a few months depending on how long you used permethrin. Your skin will heal with time. Use Dove soap or any other gentle non sulfates and moisturize!

Tea Tree Oil
Posted by Alisa (Iasi) on 08/27/2023

The white "mites" you see are your own epithelial cells. It makes sense, since scabies dig through skin.

I found out after being called crazy by the dermatologist (he didn't think I had scabies), but I insisted for him to check under microscope AND to send me to a lab for test.

Everything was paid by myself, in a country with free access to medical care.

For the person being plagued by SCABIES - I had something like scabies (never did figure out exactly what, the doctor was useless on this). I can suggest a few things that worked for me. Get some green plastic garbage bags and white plastic garbage bags. The clothing that comes off of your body goes directly into the green garbage bag to be washed after one wearing, likewise your towel after one use. Store clean clothing out of the dryer in the white garbage bags until you put them on. Keep the bags sealed and separated. Wash your body and hair with Meat Tenderizer mixed in your water and shampoo (you can just mix in your hand before soaping up). Get the unseasoned meat tenderizer so you don't end up smelling like garlic. The papain in the meat tenderizer dissolves the exoskeleton of the bugs and they die. This also works for fleas for animals. Rinse thoroughly - it will leave your skin and hair nice and soft. You can get a large (almost 3 pound) dispenser of tenderizer online for around 20 bucks from Spice Place. Cheaper on the whole than small containers from the grocery store. Also change sheets and pillow cases every night. Wash clothes and linens in hot water and 1/2 cup bleach. Borax is also good - 1/2 cup for each load. Vacuum carpets and mattresses like crazy. Put your pillow through a hot dryer cycle. And this is very important - you need to change the internal terrain of your body, then parasites will not be attracted to you. Stop eating all forms of sugar and refined products, msg, artificial sweeteners and all junk food. Take a high potency multi and B vitamin complex. Drink hot water and lemon juice first thing every morning and a few more times during the day and before bed. Eat fresh food - lots of veggies. Coconut oil is also a great remedy for scabies. You can coat your skin before bed, even massage into your hair at night and shampoo in the morning. You'll be healthier in the long run and parasites will completely lose interest in you. Read the posts here on coconut oil - it seems like there are posts regarding scabies.

You can get rid of them. Best of luck.

Hydrogen Peroxide, Zinc Oxide Ointment
Posted by Nancy (Tarpon Springs, FL) on 07/18/2008

Reponse to Nancy: Hydrogen Peroxide is a TOPICAL (to be used on the skin) antiseptic. You can use a diluted solution of it to rinse your MOUTH. You shouldn't have gotten a chemical burn from it. Perhaps you are allergic or hypersensitive or perhaps it was something else.

Ok the person telling ppl they cant get burned from peroxide. There's always someone trying to INVALIDATE another's experience. There are different strengths of peroxide skin types etc. and many outcomes possible. For instance, Diatomaceous Earth might have worked great for some but there are many different type of mites and solutions are not always one size fits all.

Enzyme Based Treatment

I having been viewing Earth Clinic for about a year now looking for more information on scabies. We have had a severe infestation for about 1 1/2 years now. My husband came home with a hunting dog a friend gave him. He told him it had red mange but it turned out to be sarcoptic mange, we were clue-less. Anyway all of our dogs caught it, we have 9. We used the borax and peroxide to start with because I never use chemicals on our dogs, even thier shampoo is all natural. As for the humans in the house, I have been covered with scabies from the start the boys and my husband have bites but nothing like me(is there a reason for this?). The guys took over all the animal care to keep me away from the bugs but I still get them off the laundry and if one of them come anywhere near me after they have been around the dogs, the bugs get on me! This has been a nightmare for over a year now. The family Doctor put us on permethrin cream and the Vet had the dogs on tac-tic (very poison!) We had been using the cream for months and the dogs had went to pro-late, sulfur dips and others, all poison. I have had dogs very sick for treatments and we have twitching eyes and just feeling ill and the last Doctor visit were givin Stromectol (thats ivomec for people). I have tried for months to figure out why we were unable to get rid of these things!!! My Vet and Dr both were treating us and the dogs but no one ever said anything about our horses and cattel!!!! Also mice rabbits and other varmints that may be here and there. My husband has been setting live traps for a week now and has caught 8 opossums just around the barn at night. We had no idea, neither have ever had mange or scabies and don't know a thing about them. Recently I found something that has worked better then anything else I have used. This is the first time in over a year that the front of my legs and thighs and my face have been clear! I would like you to check it out, I think it can help alot of people. I did have one problem with it, I was carrying a small spray bottle around with me so if I felt a bug on my face I could spray it (it would stop it dead in its tracts) but my face and other tender parts of my skin were getting a little raw, I looked sunburned. I was using it alot more then I really needed to but I could not take these bugs running across my face and getting in my ears anymore. Its a pesticide-free formula that contains enzymes from plant sources. It kills head lice too. I found it at my health food store. I don't want to give the name but I have never seen it in any of my web surfing. They do have a web sight www.s-e-a.net you can check it out and decide if you want to share this with others on your site. This stuff has been wonderful for me, its giving me my life back. I don't sell it and have no interest in it other then using it. I really hope this can help others, its been a long horrible journey for me!!!

Pack all layers of steps 1 through 4 all at once. This method takes care of the first treatment. It must also be maintained. I found sulfur soap for ($1.37)look on-line first because not all stores have the Hispanic isle. And Salicylic Acid for acne should help reduce the bumps that still appear after the mites die. Hope this helps!

I am currently very itchy and feel all the creepy crawlers around my body, which is how I got to this site. I have many bug bites that are small, some are bigger but much smaller than mosquito bite. I just don't know if is scabies? or rodent mite? or bird mites? I use tea tree oil on my body bc is the only thing I have available at the moment I don't seem to have any immediate relief, now I just concerned that the smell of the oil is too strong for my baby. I have to buy all the other recommendations as soon as possible. I am currently nursing so I am just praying my baby does not get these things. Is driving me crazy. Just wondering, has anyone ever being helped or got rid off by going to a pool (it has chlorine) or the beach (have salt)? I will try the pool tomorrow since I can go with all my children and not worried about the chemicals. I will post what treatment works best for me. But anyone with children please any recommendations will be helpful. I have a 7year old 4 year old and 10months old. I have seen a few bug bites on my seven year old not the other 2, but I am still concern specially about my youngest.

Hi, Recently a puppy came into my yard that was real sick. I felt so sorry for him that I took him to the vet. They gave me vitamins, antibiotic for him and sent him on his way said he just was sick that is why he was losing his hair. Well, the doc was wrong he had sarcoptic mange, which is scabies and guess who got them me. I have spent 300 dollars on this dog and my family trying to get rid of them. We ran out of money to treat the dog or ourselves so I went online looking for help. I tried the borax and peroxide that helped somewhat.

The vet gave the dog ivermectin and the borax and peroxide baths seems to help. You have to keep your bedding washed and dried everyday you need a mattress cover. Wash them in borax and hot water. I spray everything down with lice spray.

P.S. don't let pets in area until dry and cover food and water well before spray. My mom's dog drank her water after I sprayed and got real sick almost died and I didn't even spray it near the water. I vacuum everyday. My husband and I have so far been able to keep the scabies to just us and the dog. We have my special needs son and my mom and dad live with us and they have not gotten it Thank God. We started using Germ x hand sanitizer on our bodies everytime we felt a little itch we would put it on that spot on top of lice treatment shampoo we put that on at night before bed and leave on for 8 or more hours. We started to get rid of them. I slacked off for 2 days and we got reinfested really fast so we are back on the germx washing and vacuuming and lice shampoo and borax baths for pup and us and it is going away again. All I have to say is keep it up it might take a while but I believe we are on the right track I pray do not slack off- those buggers reinfest fast. ps. puppy is a white long haired 6 month old poodle that is so sweet and smart I think he is the best dog our family is ever had Now if we could just get rid of the bugs that came with him.

Craig has been the most right on, honest response I've read and identified with. I've been dealing with all sorts of "natural" treatments for months now and I seem to finally be learning whats happening, especially after reading his thoughts and experiences.

I have found the best success making a water spray with MSM (sulfur) which I cover my whole body with, let dry into white crystal form and wait for about 30 min and then cover my body again with clove oil mixed into coconut oil base. My mix is pretty extreme but I dose it up with about 140plus drops in 3 oz coconut oil. It seems to get rid of the itchy irratation and cause all the bumps to stop growing, no trails after a couple days of that. The bumps I do have all end up more of a sore with a small scab (bugs crawling out?! ). However, almost two weeks after doing this I started slowing up on the intensity of treatment (just doing it once in the morning and once before bed instead of staying covered all day) and all of a sudden I got attacked again. I did change some things like diet, got slack and ate a pint of ice cream, also got a sandwich with lots of cheese on it (i don't think wheat or dairy or sugar is good for me already).. I was also using tea tree oil after a shower, before a bath in epsom salt and sometimes clove bud tea concentrate in the bath.. Sometimes I cover my body with betonite clay for a while before this epsom salt bath.. Sometimes I grind oatmeal and water and add that to the bath. I did start exfoliating the couple days before the outbreak again which I stopped, that was just a rough hand mitt all over my body which felt good but may have disrupted something. Maybe it was good and I had to get the deep down suckers out. I'm back to minimal itch and not so much new bumps but still have these bumps and also notice some of the brown "moles" under my arm pits like craig was saying might be deep down burrows?

Either way, I think it's right on to get into better diet routine. My thoughts are maybe the eggs didn't die and all hatched about two weeks after a sulfur mineral springs bath I went to.. Not sure but would like others feedback.. I feel pretty intuitive and can figure out what is going on when I learn more about the life cycle.. Its just getting down to it and getting absolutely rid of these things.. I had high hopes but couldn't seem to get rid of them all before this last outbreak. I think if I keep up with the clove and coconut oil and sulfur spray however, hopefully I can catch and kill the eggs hatching before more eggs are laid?!

Comment on this post from April ...

07/09/2009: April from North Florida, replies: " For mites on the dog -- try covering the dog with mayonnaise!!! Leave it on as long as you can before rinsing it off. After rinsing I like to shampoo the dog and rinse with vinegar and water. The dog may smell like a salad while wearing the mayo, but the mayo suffocates the mites. We run a dog rescue and take in babies with all sorts of skin ailments, and this works like a charm getting rid of mites. Lots of people claim dogs with mange are incurable - well, the mange caused by mites is taken care of with mayo every time."

April thanks for posting tis.. I did this twice in 12 hrs to my little female pooch

it is awesome.. and the mayo also made her coat smooth and the vinegar balanced out the residual redness of her skin .. I can't believe how well it worked and how calm it made her.. like she was getting a spa treatment .. the may gave her instant relief

guess the mites are less active right away?? And she just laid there I was able to leave the mayo on for over an hour each time. I put sterile gauze pads in the apple vinegar and let them stay on her deflated mite sites......again AWESOME.. about 75 to 80 percent better after the first treatment and a small gain after the 2nd on.. I am letting her skin recuperate and w ill do it again in a day or two

my question.. how often to you do this treatment.. how long does it take ( does it vary) to eliminate all the mite sites? and more specific instructions would be appreciated

a big thanks from me.. and great big wet kiss from Roxie...KA from La Mesa California

Sea Salt Spray
Posted by RELIEF (USA) on 07/20/2025
★★★★★

1. Fill a small saucepan 3/4 full with water

2. Bring to a rolling boil.

3. Add 1/2 cylinder about 18 oz or more if possible, of salt letting it dissolve slowly as you pour more salt in.

4. Pour in spray bottle and spray on affected areas.

This is affordable and doable and will bring much needed relief but not 100% cure.

You can also soak in a salt water bath.

The person that shared this info on Reddit, may God bless him, believes the salt smothers the scabies.

Blessings and good health to you all.

I would like to share multiple remedies for scabies to help others get better.

Infrared Sauna Blanket: Gradually work up to 1 hour, and gradually increase the temperature. Drink lots of water after use. Do this everyday.
Bio-magnetic Pair Therapy: I noticed a difference almost immediately. I had 7 treatments at 45 minutes per session.

Megadose of Vitamin D3: My daily dose of D3 is 20,000 ui as recommended by Dr. Berg YouTube. I noticed Scabies were disturbed when I took this. (Please note: Scabies parasite are like hornets. When you disturb their nests they fight back and make you feel uncomfortable, itchy. So when you are feeling uncomfortable, or if your skin breaks out, this is a good sign you are winning the war.)

Figs: Are a natural parasitic. I noticed scabies were disturbed when I ate figs regularly. Eat them every day, 1/2 cup cooked or dried.

Avoid Sugar and Excess Meat and Dairy: A healthy immune boasting diet of raw nuts, raw seeds, vegetables and complex carbs.

Hello Tessa,

I saw a Licensed Bio-magnetic therapist. She trained under Dr. Groiz. The magnets used for this therapy are very powerful, so I believe one should leave this type of treatment to the experts. A fridge magnet strength would be about 40 gauss. We are talking 3500 - 5000 gauss strength for this type of treatment.

Try applying Apple Cider Vinegar directly onto the patch of skin that makes you itch. Do not dilute it. Leave it on for 20 seconds, then gently pat dry. If applying to face dilute with equal parts of water. Prior to applying, ensure all skin is completely free from any substance eg. Creams, cosmetics

If you find that after applying the vinegar, your skin is even more itchy, then it's a sign the vinegar is working. In this case, add more vinegar until itching goes away. Then pat dry.

Tell us how you go...

Have you tried Urine Therapy? It is a surprising cure. Your body knows exactly what it needs. I have healed many things with urine therapy and I really believe it can help you too. The best thing about UT is it's always the same medicine no matter what the problem is. This is what you should do. First when you wake up, pee into a cup (morning urine is very beneficial) and step into the tub. Rub the urine all over your skin and give it 5 to 10 minutes to dry, then rinse off with water only no soap. (Although you would have better results if you were to leave it on) Do this for a couple days to see if you notice improvement, you can use urine from any part of the day ad do multiple times a day if you are noticing good effect. Your condition sounds very severe, I would say give it 4 days but you should see results much sooner than that

Multiple Remedies
Posted by Cate (Australia ) on 04/26/2024

I hope the urine works. I agree with Marie to try leaving it on & not using soap to wash it off. I would even go further to suggest not putting anything else on your skin for at least a week. No moisturiser, no deodorant, etc. instead use only urine & water on your body. If you have to wash your hands use either vinegar, bicarb/baking soda as the alternative to soap. Our skin absorbs water more easily than it does oils. Oils can be clogging & cause itching. So for the urine to work the skin must be clear of topical oils.

Are you taking any medications, or supplements, if so which ones?

Have you been putting anything on your skin, if so, what products?

Does the itching appear in a persistent particular area, for example the back?

Does the itching almost feel like its bone deep?

Other than the itching & stinging, do you have any other symptoms?

Hello Cate, thank you for your answer and the advice that the skin don´t have anything oil or cream on it, so that the urine can work.

In the moment I taking vitamic C, OPC, probiotics, magnesium, Q enzyme Q10 (a lot of vitamin C, because I think it helps a little bit), for the skin I spray with KleenGrenn enzyme spray or with borax/H2O2 (that was Ted advoice here for dogs), and then I taking homeopathic remedy sulfur C30 three times a day, that's how I get through the day and it doesn't spread so much, but it still stings and burns and itches.

What I tried in the past can you read in my first message. What I do sometimes is to sleep in pur castor oil (I bought a bath tube, where I filled in castor oil and there I have been there for three days, that reduce it (to suffocate them), but not all, then the burning/ itching and the stinging will be greatly reduced, I get about 3000 pimples where it burned and stinged before, and it comes out of the skin (pimples) and it comes very small like grains of sand out of the skin, thats a little bit painfull, but not so much. The advice for castor oil comes from (KleenGreen), they wrote me to put it in the evening on the whole body and then wash off it the next day, then spray or cream the body (with enzyme spray or a cream where you put enzyme (papain) in it) and the next evening put castor oil on the skin and so on. The castor oil should kill the mites immediately on the surface of the skin. Because it is a thick oil. But it is very oily and you have to be careful not to get anything dirty. And I noticed it helps against the burning and itching and so I thought I try it with a bath tube with castor oil. When I reduce the burming /itching/stinging, I feel better and then I gain weight again. But it don´t reach to heal. (I creamed with castor oil 5 weeks and some mites get through somehow)

The stinging and burning is all over the body, but the most on the whole scalp, behind the ears, neck, face here eyebrow and around it, tempels, nose and around it, lips and around it, chin and below, back up and down, butt, knees, feet, ankles, wrists, elbows.

The feelings what I have it is burning, itching and the painfull stinging, sometimes the stinging is until the bone/ a pain of the surface on the bone, (I think, when the mites are deeper and reached nerve tissue, which is connected to the bone.) I have short cold showers/chills (I don´t know the right word in english, I hope you understand me) over the whole day. I get more warts. More edema on the ankles. Dry skin, with very, very small skin flakes. ( I had no skin problems before, had rarly creamed (only in the cold season and then with a homemade marigold cream) only washed with water and a organic soap.

KleenGreen told me, when you treat the mites are extremly they start fighting extremly back with the painfull stinging. I can confirm this (when I took a very good preparation for the immune system, they attacked me very hard, and I had to stop)

Today I will start with a homeopatic treatment, that somebody told me. Here I can´t put anything on the skin, but I will try the urine remedy after that. And I will wash my hands with bicarb/backing soda or vinegar. When the homeopatic treatment works I will write here.

Thank you very much for your answers, thank you so much!!!

Sounds like you've tried everything! You're very strong for not giving up!

In dogs, there is a type of scabies that cannot be eradicated by using internal or external treatments. It can only be killed by improving the immune system. 'Selenium' has been used successfully for this. Perhaps you may have a type similar to this.

In addition to what you're already taking, the following taken daily, will help to strengthen your immune system;

  • Selenium
  • Iodine
  • Vitamin D
  • Bone broth (boil raw bones for 2 hours, discard bones)
  • Raw fresh garlic (4 daily, crushed, mixed into butter or extra virgin olive oil, with food)
  • Raw fresh radish (2 small)
  • Beetroot (1 small, or ½ medium size, raw, grated in salad or cooked)
  • The juice & pulp of 1 small Lemon or Lime
  • Unfiltered Extra Virgin Cold pressed Hemp seed oil (1 tsp)
  • ½ or 1 cabbage leaf or any other cruciferous vegetable E.g broccoli. It's ok to eat these raw on occasion but if eaten daily should be cooked (boiled & water discarded) to avoid affecting the thyroid.
  • Potato (peeled, cooked, no green)
  • Sauerkraut 1 tsp (must be from the refrigerator section as it has 'live' bacteria)
  • Milk thistle tea (1 tsp seeds, ground up, boiled 5 minutes)
  • Olive leaf tea (5-10 leaves boiled 5 minutes)
  • Wild caught, cold water fish eg. salmon (3 times a week)

The reason for the above in bold, is because they are the most important for immune health.

Eliminate the following;

  • All grains, as they produce yeast (may make scabies thrive)
  • Vegetable fats or oils (except for extra virgin coconut oil/fat & extra virgin olive oil)
  • Alcohol
  • sugar (genuine honey is good)
  • Condiments such as soy sauce,

Use Himalayan pink salt or any other natural salt in cooking. Avoid table salt.

Use Filtered water when drinking or cooking.

Avoid the following cookware; aluminium, non-stick & enamel. Instead use stainless steel & oven-safe glassware for baking.

I wish you all the best Tebora...

The following are also extremely vital for a strong immune system;

  • Omega 3 (if you happen to be vegan or vegetarian, unfiltered Extra virgin cold pressed hemp seed oil is a great source (1 tsp daily)

Hi Tebora, I wish I could be of more help!

The amount you may like to try taking in order to benefit your condition is;

  • 200 mcg (micrograms) Selenium, daily (practitioners have administered this amount to their patients for numerous conditions with success)

I'm so sorry you're going through this, sounds similar to my experience. I was over a year and wanted to give up, but please know you WILL beat this, keep going. Do you have a plastic encasement to put over your mattress? You also need water proof pillow case protectors. Change bedding every day, soak in hot borax water for at least 4 hours. spray the plastic mattress protectors with a mix of 3% hydrogen peroxide tea tree and clove and orange or tea tree oil with water and dry before new bedding. That was a huge game changer for me. Doing the oils after sauna or after hottest bath was good too, alternated with the toxic doc prescribed stuff but I bought concentrated animal stuff and diluted. Used stronger stuff on the spots. I noticed the permethrin especially made my skin itchy but usually I could put my oil concoction on a spot and a little hard gritty thing would come out, the permethrin itch would not do this so I knew it was that.

PLEASE, Please we need a whistleblower to investigate this gross injustice and malpractice against Florida residents.

***PLEASE*** Let's get the word out all the Drs, dermatologists, and medical professionals, CDC and Health Dept are covering up creepy eruption scabies epidemic in Florida. I don't care who you go to for a diagnosis and treatment… they will NEVER do any tests as I increasingly got more horrific symptoms and was told I needed mental help.. I've been to 5 drs and 4 dermatologists… they all use the same playbook to take No action and minimize and blame you for your skin condition. They don't want this infectious disease reported. The CDC has removed it as a reportable infectious disease. So it doesn't have to be reported at all.

I too recently moved to an apt in Florida and started having worms in my mouth, lips, and eyelids which now are everywhere in my skin and internally. beads falling in my eyes. I
I don't have a cure.. I'm using DE and Neem and Nac… I switch back and forth with EC remedies. Salt baths help.

Hi Sharon,

I'm so happy it's working for you! Yes even hair, I did hair only overnight and slept with a bag or shower cap on my head. I'd have to wash 3x to get the stench of the neem oil out though, but still well worth it in my opinion. At the beginning I would rinse off in the shower and apply again. Depending on how much time I had. Also I did notice when I added a dash of hydrogen peroxide it got the last couple of deep ones in. Towards the end I was sleeping with it on overnight. Don't put hydrogen peroxide on hair though.

Here I thought I "invented" this method. Lol BUT IT WORKS WELL. Like other people r sayi.g, it works instantly.u can feel all the scabies moving/trying to get away from the heat. That entire section of ur skin under the heat comes alive. Be sure that u can suffer 122-124°f temps. That inself is torturous but it works.

I also turned the hotwater heater up to 130°f so im getting about 124°f out of the shower head.this works well to especially for places u cant reach nor put Ivermectin or Permethrin cream on. I live alone (I got scabies from x, what a "gift"). Anyway the hot showers are what I started with and most of the scabies have cleared out off my belt line and everywhere else EXCEPT for that one little spot in the middle of my back. Treatment continues.

Anything and every piece of clothing that I take off instantly goes in the dryer. My dryer is 138° consistantly. For bed linings I dry one pice at a time to make sure that high temp hits everypart of the linines.

I have this for a 5-6 weeks but I only knew I had scabies for 2 wks now. After reading other post I guess I may have several more weeks to rid the house and of these horrible microscopic demons. O m g! I HATE THEM.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE.

1. Hello, I have been fighting scabies for a long time, and I am very exhausted. Every time I treat it in various ways, it comes back again. I feel like the mites are under my thickened skin, but dermatologists just dismiss it when I tell them. I've tried various methods on my own to soften the hardened skin, but it keeps thickening again, and the area becomes itchy at night. How can I soften the skin so that the scabies creams can be better absorbed?

2. I have applied a mixture of borax and hydrogen peroxide to my body. If I applied it at night, should I shower the next morning, or should I wait 24 hours before showering? Thank you.

Tape, Sulphur

I caught scabies after visiting a friend in hospital in mid December, 2015...I never tried the creams from the chemists/drugstore as I read too many times how they don't work...Anyone who is/has suffered from scabies knows only too well that it is one of the hardest things to cure...Until now.

I bought 1kg sulpher powder from eBay...Every night I put it on my body after a shower and also on my eyebrows...It was working slowing but the bugs would scramble into my nose, on my eyelashes and hair...It was like a never ending story until I found one thing that has more or less got rid of them. Cello/sticky tape!

After putting on the sulpher, I would wait a minute and then run a piece of tape across my eyelashes..Do it very gently and pull from the inside out slowly...Do both lashes and then proceed to your eyebrows, from the outside in this time...Don't worry, you wont lose any eyelashes or brows if you do it this way and slowly...I was doing it 3/4 times a day and you will be surprised how many stick to the tape....Next and just as important, run you vacuum nozzle over your hair daily for just a few minutes and this will suck up any in your hair...Try and get lengths of hair shaft.

Next and equally important, vacuum your mattress and rub the sulpher into it and place a sheet on top..I did this twice, about three days in between.

Back to the tape..I used darker pillow cases so I could see the bugs..They were mostly white and ran the tape over my pillow cases (with pillows on) every day...You will see them sitting on the pillow cases..You can use wider tape or thinner tape but try and buy a good quality one as it has much more adhesive to pick up the bugs...I do this every day as they will keep coming back but they wont get a chance to lay eggs...I also run the tape over my face and caught a huge one in it..
No need to wash bedding every single day in hot water as it's time consuming and who has time to do that...The bugs have almost gone and my skin is clearing up and that terrible itch has subsided to zero...The tape combined with the sulpher is the key...Keep it up for months, even when the itch stops so you completely break the cycle..Dip your finger in the sulpher and place it inside your nose..It wont hurt you and they will come out..Have your tape ready and place some over your upper lip as well to lift any that have fallen out of your nose...This really works as I'm almost cured and you wont have to go through all those expensive creams and lotions or maddeningly washing your bed linen daily..Plus, it's easy and you will get great pleasure seeing those disgusting pests stuck to the tape..Make sure you fold the tape over its self to trap them and dispose of them into the rubbish bin..I keep a plastic bag to throw the used tape into it.

After 3 months of this, I feel great again..I wish I bought the tape months ago. Good luck everyone and you will get rid of it like I did.

Tape, Sulphur
Posted by Karen (Sydney) on 04/06/2016

It's been three weeks since my last post and I'm happy to say my scabies have gone...No more itch or crawling mites on me...The sulpher is excellent but it did leave my skin extremely dry...I am using coconut oil every day to make my skin soft again and it's looking better...I can't say enough about having sticky/cello tape handy...I think the sulpher killed the mites but the tape wiped out the eggs and cycle...If you saw the amount of eggs the tape picked up on my face and body and pillow cases, you would be shocked...I washed my bedding every 4 days in cold water ..I made sure I vacuumed my mattress and steam cleaned it on wash days and then placed the sulpher powder over the mattress, put mattress protected on and sheet back on...That was it and they are now gone and my skin is healing...I am still using the tape, just in case but not the sulpher on my body... I really believe the tape is the answer .

I am over scabies completely. I do itch some, but it's from dry skin. To relieve that I drink water and apply lotion and take showers and use a minimum of soap to preserve body oils. I deduced that much of the itching misery I suffered during this ordeal was from dry skin. You can overdo the chemicals, especially when your skin nerves are sensitized. So back off the meds, and apply oil and water.

Borax
Posted by Seeking Solution (Usa) on 11/11/2015

Dear Ted,

Thank you for all your help with what's posted. I've read extensively.

I believe I had scabies, it was misdiagnosed as many things and finally treated w oral ivermectin after about 6 months. It seemed to be clear. That was in the spring of 2014. I spent a lot of time in the ocean that summer. When it got colder and I spent less time it came back. Clustered bite marks and other itches. I should mention that prior to the ivermectin (stromectol) I went through three episodes of nodules. When it came back I did several treatments of permethrin and had die offs. At the same time a new sensation had started very tingly around the bottom of my nose and nipples and tops of toes. Heavy treatments of sulfur seems to stop it for a bit. Then in the winter I did home crusted scabies w Iver paste and once a week perm. Almost gone again but then came back. In the summer in the ocean it goes away until I stop swimming. Also sulfur soap keeps it down. I now think it's Demodex and not scabies. Maybe I had scabies maybe not.

I've been taking the borax 1/4 teaspoon w distilled water one liter for 5 days. I immediately began having a sensation that I haven't heard people mention, which is increased pricking sensation on torso. Not so much itching. Back of neck is itchy. I can see some cylindrical dandruff in my beard but not eyelashes. Is this sensation from the borax normal? The ocean where I am is very salty and when I leave it to dry on my skin I get 12-24 hours of almost nothing. I intend to begin baking soda and have no bath tub so maybe spray with borax peroxide or Epsom salt?

Many thanks, Ted!
