Mystery Diagnosis

I have gone to 2 neurologists, had spinal taps, cat scans, barium swallows, mri's. I use to sing, but not anymore. I have been singing professionally all of my life. My processing is slower. For example when asked to do something I have to think for a couple of seconds before response. Along with that my rythym is a half beat behind. It's reversed from what it should be, I follow the band the band doesn't follow me. I am 51. When singing it comes out monotone, even though I know what it should sound like, I can't reach it. My speech is nasally at times and slurred. The Dr's have no explanation and no diagnosis. Is there a protocol for these symptoms?

Hey All... So just an update with me.... I am seeing a ND outside of the city, and I got my results from the yeast/bacterial analysis through a stool culture. The results are that my bifido strains are low, and lacto are also a bit low... E-coli is good.. And it says I have 'yeast' but NOT candida albicans. She put me on 5 things: a good probiotic (in addition to what I have), colostrum, pancreatic enzymes, plant tannins ( it has 30mg of casien which I wasnt so crazy about), and also some candida-fighting supplement. I've heard of the brand she gave me for the candida/probiotic supplement, so I'm hopeful for that. I just hope this is strong enough to kick the yeast out!!! So.. Should I be doing anything else on top of this? Should I tell her, if I start taking borax? I haven't tried it yet... Would like to though!! I hope that this is the ACTUAL PROBLEM she is addressing.... Well see... & hope that I don't really have parasites like I though. Keep me in prayer!!!

I had the same symptoms and went to the ER over a dozen times because I thought I was having a heart attack. After many doctors and specialists it turned out I had asthma. It was affecting my shoulder because I had a previous injury to it from a car accident. It may not be the cause of his pain, but it is something to look into. Who would think asthma could cause chest and shoulder pain? Not me.

To Nech from Kimball SD.

I have to say I can relate to your husband's chest pain. I as well had to have my heart checked and it was good. It was reference pain from my Gall Bladder and it was bad. What cured it for me was a big mouth full of Olive Oil, I noticed a calming effect within 20 minutes. I did this until the pain left and never returned until last week. I used the same method again and this time it only took the one gulp. I rinse with mouth wash right after because I can't stand the taste. Some times the simplest remedies baffle others.

I hope it works for your husband. Let us know.

Thanks for you input Oscar... However, my husband has seen the cardiologist more than once due to other issues similar to this one in the past. He's done more than one stress test on the treadmill, done the heart monitor more than once and he's always gotten a clean bill of health. The doc told him to stop worrying and that he was just so healthy. So where do we go from here?

Nech from Kimball, Pains that occur in or near the heart that also result in pain radiating anywhere on the left arm [ especially the shouler area ] should be examined by a qualified MD. Such pains can and often do result from some sort of heart problem. You need to have this checked out by a qualified MD....Oscar

My husband is having an unknown pain. It starts in the middle/lower part of his diaphragm and radiates around to his left shoulder blade where it hurts the most when it happens. It's been sporatic, but he feels it gets a little better after he eats a meal. It's improved a little since he got a massage a few days ago, but is still experiencing it. The massage therapist said it could be a stomach ulcer, but by reading this website, those symptoms don't seem to line up. What could it be and could there be a natural remedy to help? Possibly more baking soda or apple cider vinegar?

Shelly~ I just replied to Abby too.... Again, I think this could possibly be an adrenal problem. Your signs are very "classic. " In the last year, you've undergone much physical and emotional trauma with the pregnancy, birth & nursing of your child. Please look up adrenal depletion here on EC. You will probably recognize almost every symptom.

I saw an ND and was prescribed a high quality Adrenal supplement. I felt better in no time & I know you will too. God bless & let us know what works for you!

Shelly: Conventional Medicine is 90% reluctant to test for parasites, so a ND would be your best bet. He/She can order a stool test that can determine pathogens as well as parasites. The Parasite hypothesis is likely true because they weaken the immune system and then you get a fungal infection that resist treatment. You can also get an Hair Analysis from your ND to determine mineral levels ie deficiencies, as well as possible heavy metal contamination (which would also induce untreatable fungal infection).

I made the same mistake of drinking ground water on more than one occasion and seem to have contracted the flukes. The standard herbal protocol for Parasites is Black Walnut Hulls, Clove, and Wormwood. For flukes in particular, Myrrh is recommended in addition to the prior. The flukes in particular are insidious because there are five stages that can inhabit the body, which in all could number in the millions. Research fluke symptoms to further determine your case.

Begin boosting your immunity with Zinc and Vit-A; these will also hasten healing particularly the intestines (which get eroded by Candida). Any of the detox protocols here on E. C. would be recommended in your situation.

Lots of info and personal testimonies here on E.C. for your perusal. Find a good Naturopath in your area.

Update us on your condition. Hoping you will get well soon.

Jillie... Yes I take b-12, amoungst other things. And Timh, I tried a parasite program, but it didnt seem very successful =/ I wouldnt know what program to take now. Any lab suggestions on where to go for that? I used to eat at salad bars often, and ate pretty organic... So maybe I picked something nasty up? I recall drinking water from a water fountain after my run the night that I got "sick".. So maybe there was something lurking in there? Who knows! I will try to get tested for pathogens (again).. And of course, the whole candida thing as I have been peeing white specks out for awhile now, along with reaccurant yeast infections. Why is this candida, if that's what it is, SO BAD! ? Can stress/hormone imbalance cause this to happen to such a severe degree?

Shelly: You have begun your healing journey and will surely see some improvements after seeing the Naturalpath. If you could paste the notes you've taken from your recent diagnostics, that will help during your visit.

You seem to have a parasite infestation as well as some type pathogen. You will need to do Immune Boosting Therapies and maybe some blood building (take BlackStrap Molasses for this). Filter the air and water in your home. Take any nutritional supplements that are recommended in any of your symptoms. If your lucky you can make an almost 100% turn-a-round, but be warned that in many cases, these type conditions are chronic and are sometimes never completely resolved. Case-in-point, Mycoplasma or Lyme infections are very difficult to rectify. Round, Pin, and Hookworm can be resolved, but the Liver Fluke and Tapeworm infestations can be very difficult to irradiate.

Try to allocate some time reading up on conditions here on E.C., update your questions and progress, and we (E.C. members) will help you get your health back.

Dear Shelly, This sounds like a b12 deficiency which is common after birth. Are you a vegetarian by chance? If not, it doesn't really matter you can still be b-12 deficient. If yes, one more reason to think this is your problem. Look up the symptoms and you will see that many of them fit your list. Do your homework by reading--there is a lot on the net about this. I use Methylcobalamin sublinguals and start with 1000 mcg twice per day. You should also use real folate not folic acid. It takes a while to work.

So, I'm new here to earthclinic (as a member). Reading through this site has really given me much hope and encouragement in helping me cope with the many ailments I am currently dealing with. I was wondering if anyone could help me? This is how it all started...

In Jan 2012, I gave birth to my daughter. I was also pre-eclamptic, & had high protien levels in my urine. My blood pressure was high, and remained high until 3 or so months after the birth. I wanted a natural birth SO bad! Ended up getting the epidural & other drugs. I did everything organic, right down to my bedsheets. I ate really well, and took good liquid vitamins. My birth experience was pretty stressful, & I had some post-pardum depression. So, I nursed until the end of April '12, when I was then forced to stop, because my milk supply just dropped dramatically. I tried all kinds of natural things, herbs, teas, etc. I didnt know why this was happening. Then, my bladder started to hurt. I got checked for what seemed like a UTI, but it came back negative, 3 times (in 2 weeks). After an evening run, I went to bed later, and awoke to feeling REALLY SICK. I thought I was getting a stomach/bacterial "bug", but it just wouldnt go away. I decided to go to the ER, and they sent me to ultrasound and checked my blood/urine. I had slightly low pancreatic enzymes ( prob cus I have not eaten in several hours! ). They sent me home with some drug that didnt help, and my "condition" or sickness, continued to linger.

These were my symptoms: ongoing nausea, pain/frequency in bladder, using the bathroom (BMs) 8-10x (mostly in morning; diarreah), extreme weakness, fatigue, dizziness, heart palpatations/high blood pressure, & hair loss! Over the course of the last 10 months since this has happened, I went to only a few docs, one was a gastroenterologist. She did a colonoscopy, and found I had microscopic colitis (duh- from the diarreah I was having! ). I did all sorts of experimenting with foods, etc.. and found that through much research, and Ted's advice through reading here, that I may have a candida overgrowth (really bad).

I don't understand HOW I got this sick! I ate realllly well, and was not on antibiotics. Well, one of the docs I was seeing gave me some antibiotics AFTER this episode, which didnt help, 'cus I told her I thought I had a parasite. What now? Do I really have a parasite? I had 2 stool samples, came back negative for them ( I hear they are not accurate though). I am going to see a Naturopath FINALLY next week, because we just didnt have money before. Am I wasting my time? Will they only give me supplements? Ive never been to a naturopath. Ive tried tons and tons of supplements, enzymes, etc, etc... And it seems like being on the candida diet has really helped the most, along with minerals, probiotics, & husband support. I also put myself on iodine that Ted suggested, and that helped stop my hair loss a LOT, and helped with some weakness. ANY time I g to eat carbs, starch, sugar (esp), or sugary-fruit, my symptoms come back within 2 days. I just need help. I don't know what to take, who to see, and I need to take care of a 13 month old and my large house, while trying to take care of myself! I am DESPERATE to get better. I am a new, young Mom here trying my best. It's been a battle. PLEASE... Suggestions! ???

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has tried or if there is any feedback for Ted from Bangkok's therapies remedy of the below:

..."Therefore extra options are that you might also want to try are clove oil, methylene blue low dose naltrexone.

Clove oil (5% clove oil mixed with 95% vodka), another one of Ted from Bangkok's therapies, can be used as a spray or wipe and must be applied to all joints -- especially the backbone. Clove oil is an anti-viral and when used like this acts to chase out any viruses hiding in the bone fluids. Thus clove oil can penetrate the blood/bone barrier to remove these viruses -- which is why clove oil is useful against viruses like Epstein Barr, Herpes and even cancer which also hide in the bone fluids -- as is the case with cancer, which is able to suddenly metastase and re-attack the body years later after remission. But when these viruses are forced out into the blood system, they will be attacked and removed by any strong and healthy immune system.
Rub the clove oil on and around every major joint -- elbows, shoulder, knees and ankles. Most important, rub this oil all the way up the backbone and neck. Apply the clove oil twice a day like this. It feels hot. This will drive out any existing viruses hiding in the bone fluids and the anti-oxidant therapy for the liver will boost and help the immune system to fight and remove the virus in the blood.

Thank you.

Hi, It would help if you had a hair analysis test to see what deficiencies you have and then treat those. It could be that you have a magnesium deficiency among others. If it is magnesium an Epsom salt bath would help. The jellyfish sting and your body's immune reaction could have depleted some vital vitamins and minerals. Pls check and report back, thanks

Hi Ramona, since you don't seem to have been helped by western medicine nor can they give you an explanation, I would highly recommend you find a Traditional Chinese medicine Dr. It sounds as if your body was already out of balance since you'd had psoriasis since you were 9 and this just furthered the issue. I am certain TCM would be able to understand why these symptoms are occurring. You also have not seen relief from homeopathy as well. In Chinese medicine, they see the body as a whole and the various organs, sides of the body, upward/ downward movement, all have meaning. They would check your tongue and take your pulses and palpate your organs and then treat you accordingly. Every person is unique so, symptoms could all be the same in various people but have different reasons for their manifestation. I.E. : 5 people could be experiencing migraines but all 5 people could have them for different reasons.

Anyway, I encourage you to research this as this system is over a thousand years old and works. Modern medicine is often just taking stabs in the dark. I hope this information helps you in finding answers. Best to you, Lisa

I am 34 year old female. In dec 2009 I was stung by something at the beach on my left arm, whatever it was had a tail. It think it was a jelly fish. Anyway I forgot all about it and was fine. In mar 2010 I was watching TV and felt a cold sensation on my left side of my head, which progressed into tingling on my left side. I was immediately admitted to hospital and was seen by a neurologist. No official diagnosis given, just that it was a TIA.

Since then I have never been okay, I have had on and off pins and needles, weakness, pain all on my left side. The symtoms dont happen together. it will be either one or the other. Been for 2 MRI's and many neurologist and they found nothing.

I also had psoriasis since I was 9 and in 2010 I started getting symtoms of the arthritis. I have been to a rhemotogist about 2 months ago, who put me on methotrexate. But I am still not well. I still have those weird symtoms on my left side.

I have also been to many homeopaths, but no one has helped me. This is driving me insane, suffereing for alomost 2 years and NO one can help me. Please help me!!!!

Hi Anne, I'm a 53 yr old female. A year and a half ago I went gluten free and it was like finding my own personal fountain of youth. Before that I had terrible joint pain and full body pains with no explanation. I felt like I was old before my time. It would hurt me to even go from a standing position to a sitting position. Going up or down stairs was just, ow, ow, ow, with every step, one step at a time.

When I first went gluten free I didn't do it well enough. The first month I was still getting hidden gluten in canned chicken broth and other places you wouldn't expect to find gluten. The first month I did not notice any changes or improvements in my health. Once I read up more on gluten and went through everything in my kitchen, read every label, checked everything with each company's website and celiac sites and adopted the phrase, "when in doubt throw it out", (my mother and friends got bags of groceries when I cleaned out my pantry and cupboards), once I went truly gluten free, within days I found I could walk beyond the end of my block before the tiresome pain kicked in in the morning. And every few days I would notice I could go a little further before the pain for the day would kick in. And I just started feeling better and better. The bloat that I had that I just thought was fat went away. My eyelids that were big and puffy and down to my eyelashes, that I thought was due to gravity and age, are now no longer that way. I can see my eyelids again after years of them being puffy. I now go up and down the stairs without thinking about each step and how much it hurts. I know that going gluten free was the right thing for me, even though I don't fit the profile of a typical celiac. The arthritis is practically gone. I used to sleep on an air mattress on top of my bed as I was always waking up with back pain. I don't need to do that anymore. I've had other improvements in my health as well from going gluten free.

I recommend trying going completely gluten free to see if that has a positive effect on you. The only negative for me, and it's a big one, is that after 6 months of feeling better and better, my body went into a major detox that has been horrendous. Eczema and skin eruptions that are unbearable. I am still trying to get through it and it has been a full year so far. But I still know that going gluten free was the right thing to do.

Right now I feel like this horrible detox will never end, but it is easing up, and I'm doing things I've read about here to try to help, but from what I've read most people don't have it this bad, and it may not be a problem for you at all. But I wanted to be honest about my whole gluten free experience for you. I'm still on my journey. I hope you find things that help you.

Hi Anne... From what you've described I think you may well have candida and/or parasite issues. Doctors are not good at diagnosing candida problems from just the blood or urine tests. Better if you had a hair analysis -- this will show what heavy metals and halides etc you have in excess and will also show what nutrients are lacking in your diet which might be contributing to all your problems.

Perhaps the best way to determine whether you may have candida is to take this candida questionnaire:

Candida Questionnaire

This questionnaire is far more accurate than blood/urine/faeces tests for candida and was developed by Dr William Crook who wrote The Yeast Connection. All your symptoms or problems could well be due to candida or parasite and associated pathogen problems.

Naturopaths are much more sympathetic and aware of the symptoms and extent of candida problems than modern doctors. So best visit a naturapath to find out.

If you decide that you do have candida -- here is an EC link that describes how you can eliminate this problem and help to regain you health again.

Candida Protocol

A quick follow up to my earlier posting:

There is the RADON poisoning issue also. And Colorado is one of the areas that has this problem. There are inexpensive radon test devices you can purchase to determine if radon is a problem in your home. There are remedies if this is a problem in your home. You can learn about radon in Colorado here:

Because you say all of your family is having health problems I do think there MIGHT be something toxic in your environment. It could be the water. I only drink distilled water because I know my tap water is not safe. So that is an easy one to resolve. You simply buy safe water. I have been buying the Poland Springs brand of distilled water. Try that and see if it helps. There is also the issue of volitile organic compounds that might be a problem in your home. This is a more difficult problem to identify and remedy. Start with the water and see if that resolves this problem or not....Oscar

Hi, Sounds like various deficiencies - you could get a hair analysis done. Low b vitamins and low d can give anxiety/ depression. If you are pale with brittle nails it could be iron deficiency but you need a test. Where does your water come from? How are your neighbours? Just a few thoughts.. A hyperthyroidism causes weight loss.. Where my parents live my dad who was fit died of bladder cancer within 6 months his next door neighbour ( 10 years younger and very fit) died the following year of colon cancer very quickly the lady next door now has breast cancer and the lady opposite has some sort of blood cancer- yes they are all over 60 but could it be something in the water? My mum is fine but then she takes thyroxine( acts like iodine?) due to having a Thyroid partially removed decades ago..

Hi--does anyone have any ideas? For the last couple of years, my husband, my son (early 20s) and I have had multiple health issues, but recently my son's health has become much worse. He is suffering from a very bad anxiety disorder and so far has not responded very well to traditional drugs. At the moment, I cannot imagine a straight withdrawal from these drugs (lithium, zyprexa)--so please don't suggest that, but I am wondering if there might be something else going on. All three of us have lost weight that might best be described as looking like we have very little body fat and very strangely, all of us seem to have lost pinkish facial/skin color. We all look quite pale, even in the middle of a recent Colorado summer. My husband and I, at least, eat quite healthily (and so I am doubtful this is entirely due to some nutritional deficiency) and we have always loved being outdoors. In addition, our nails are very brittle. Any thoughts/ideas are welcome--thank you so much for looking!

Hello Ann in Australia. We are all like pioneers rediscovering natural cures and deeper insight. At 65 I am dealing with the fact that I have not taken as good care of myself all my life as I could have if I had known more. We are all victims of processed and polluted foods that are depleated through the use of chemical fertilizers. To this could be added chemtrail pollution, fluoride, steroids picked up in the meat of factory farm animals, and a stressed based culture.

Juice fasting has helped me, suplimented with powdered charcoal, which picks up the released toxins before they can be reabsorbed by the body and making you feel bad. I had used activated charcoal, found on the internet, and also a formula containing clay, apple pectin and aloe.

Sulphur is something the body needs but is in very low supply due to the fertilizers, at least in the US, made from coal tar. MSM is sulphur, and some other products are variations of it. DMSA detoxifies lead and mercury, it is said. I'm trying it out tomorrow when it arrives in the mail. - NAC inhibits inflamation and helps in replenishing glutathione. A number of helpful things are attributed to both of these products. Another useful thing might be iodine, which helps the thyroid regulate the metabolism. Obviously if there is not enough of this in the body there can be problems.

I've gotten rid of candida with juniper berries, which I picked off trees but is sold in capsules. - When my heart area felt unwell, due to smoking too much, I was definately helped with the herb Hawthorn Berry. Also taking Milk Thistle for the liver. My understanding is that if the liver is overloaded from the various toxins we take in or produce with medications - the garbage is stored rather than processed out, leading to possible problems anywhere else in the body, which could give some explanation to fibromyalgia and similar strange conditions.

What i've most recently discovered which should be very helpful if what they say is true, is systemic enzymes. Like Nattokinase, which cleans the blood of inflamation causing fibran. ( I never knew about 'fibrin'. ) You will have to look these things up to get a better concept of what they are supposed to do and why they are important. If anything helps, please pass it on. We are really dependent on one another; not on the established medical system or the government or the advertisers. Just normal people, all around the world, sharing and caring.

To start with Take Ted's Alkalizing Formula 3 times a day. It will relieve constipation in a day or two. That is the first step towards healing.

Vitamin C and Zinc are good, but you should not take Calcium supplements you are just overdosing your body with Calcium which causes muscle stiffness.

You have to have a balance of all the minerals and vitamins to have a light feeling and control of body and muscle movement. Also you should do mild form exercise daily or at least weekly 3 days.

Fibromayalgia, can be due to any of the following issues
1. Flouride Poisoning
2. Hypothyorid - Hypothyroid can manifest variety of symptoms similar to Candida.
3. Candida.

To overcome Flouride Poison and to provide proper nutrition you should take Wheat Grass Juice, which is rich in Calcium, Iron, Phosporous, Magnesium and trace elements. It will also remove flouride poison from the body. You can take Tamarind Juice to remove flouride poison if you have flouride poison.

Flouride Poison can be due to one of the following reasons.
1. Flouridated City Water (Drinking and Bathing)
2. Excessive Brushing with Flouridated Toothpaste
3. Excessive consumption of Black Tea.

If you think above reasons does not apply to you, then you can ignore flouride poison.

If you have low Iodine in your body, which is the cause of Hypothyroid then take foods rich in Iodine.
1. Kelp powder is rich in Iodine and other minerals and trace elements.
2. Oyster is rich in Iodine.
3. Use Iodized sea salt in addition.

These two can show improvement in your health.

Finally, If you doubt you have Candida. Then follow Bill's Protocol in this site to get rid of candida. Good Health, Thanks

Hello to all of you with vast experiences and knowledge who may help me and others in return. I am a 55 yr old female with fibromyalgia. After some hopping around Earth Clinic I think I may have added Candida to my list of concerns due to reading the symptoms of others. I had back surgery 6 yrs ago. I don't eat junk food or drink soft drink or knowingly ingest anything with artificial additives. I eat fresh as much as possible, have mineralized natural salt and have mostly reduced consumption of gluten, dairy and sugar (very hard to do but trying). I am perhaps 10 kg overweight and this stubbonly stays regardless. I do eat quinoa, rice and use potato and cornstarch as alternatives to flour (maybe all starches have to go??). I use coconut oil and have tried the ACV and bi carb protocol without success (perhaps I need to stay on it longer. Before or after meals???) However, my skin is clear, breath sweet, hair healthy. Perhaps the simplist and shortest way is to list my problems:

Aches in various parts of my body esp back, thighs, hips shoulders, tops of arms, hands and feet (3-4 years now).

Symptoms worse toward evening, through the night and morning.

On rising my back and hands are stiff. Sometimes I cannot make a fist.

Eyes easily bloodshot (dry eye)

I bloat easily (uncomfortable and inconvenient). Constipated (candida??)

Tire easily.

Have arthritis in my knee (told I will need a knee replacement in a few years time) and tendonitis in my hip (18mths now).

I always have the feeling that I would like to 'zip off' my body as it always feels heavy and achey.

I take vit C, calcuim, and zinc and go through sprees of juicing veg for a boost but nearly everything I do takes effort and I'm so tired of going round in circles, spending hours trawling the internet trying to connect the dots. I refuse to rely on phamacuticals and am about to give glutisthione a go. I warmly welcome any suggestions. Thank you.

You can also find and massage your own trigger points - there is a very good self-help book called "The trigger point therapy workbook" - check on Amazon, there are 100s of very positive reviews. The drawings in the book show you exactly where to find the trigger points that relate you your pain. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I have had back/muscle problems for 13 yrs now. Tightness and pain come without warning mostly on right side. Feels like an invisable string is pulling together from neck to hip. I'm sure this is mostly a muscle problem because the tightness comes, then the pain. I have knoted muscles up and down my back (I call these flare ups). Massage helps, chiro helps. I have been to many drs. and have found no answers. They know there is a problem but no diagnosis. For the last 2 yrs I have found that core exercises, swimming, and diet play an important roll, and I am 80 percent better. Still have flare up but not as severe. I know what I can and cant do, but I would like to know what this is and whats causing the problem. It seems I'm holding it at bay, but not totally getting rid of the source of illness. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sincerely, Donna

My son had been complaining of heachaches for the past 2 years (1 heachache lasted over 6 months), stiff neck and lower back, weakness/numbness in left leg and some numb fingers on his left hand, (diagnosed with arthitic neck and back) shaky vision problems, extreme fatigue, etc, etc. Having gone to numerous doctors including neurologist(thinking it was MS), allergist, ear nose and throat specialist, eye doctor, countless blood tests. We finally found a doctor that tested him for co-infections of LYME disease -the blood test came back positive. Treatment with antibiotics started last week.

I took a blood test for sugar diabites and the test showed high sugar levels then my doctor made me take another 2 hour test and he said it came out negative but I still feel weak like fainting. I cant breath at night and I'm getting chest pains under my left breast and above left breast and I get real bad headaches and when I stand up for 5 minutes I have to sit down. My legs hurt and when I sit down for 10 minutes I get pain from my hip down to my feet and I cant get up. My hands feel numb and I cant move them for 10 minutes and I cant hold anything so whats wrong with me.

In response to the aggressive behavior and breaking things I can relate. I probably broke hundreds of dollars of things. I don't hurt people not even the scorpions.

I told the doctors I was angry and aggressive because I was processing a very abusive childhood. The doctors kept telling me I had to fix my gut first.

As it turned out they were right. First I found out that I had started eating eggs for breakfast a few years back and that probably was the cause that made the rest of my body mind go way out of balance. I started eating eggs everyday because my work requires that I pick up thousands of pounds in the first few hours of the day. I always felt good after eating eggs but they were killing me. I eventually ended up in the ER twice.

I felt better when I took the whole vitamin B complex but that hit a limit. At some point I started taking iodine and symplex F from Standard Processing and once again my level of aggression went down but not completely gone. And finally when I started taking Ted's lemon and baking soda did I actually stop being a very aggressive person.

I was sick for 4 years, couldn't work full time, I would become tired exhausted and then aggressive. I didn't care who you were if I was mad I would be mean to you. I sympathize with all those crazy people who probably have imbalances from eating garbage literally or figuratively.

id tell him to see a dermatologist and have them test for yeast (candida) I was on antibiotics for 2 years cuz 2 sript pushers were too lasy to do blood work.. Antibiotics only killed my probiotics and made my situation worse. Tho I didnt realize it at the time because it seems to come in surges. Youi think its gone then you have a lil too much sugar and all of a sudden you are covered in itchy peeling bumps that leave marks that could be misdiagnosed as mrsa.... Make sure you get blood work and a skin biopsy. If they find yeast... Good luck, im still trying to get rid of it. Considering legal action myself :0/

sounds like ur doctor needs to go back to school... Ive found that most doctors are script pushers and dont really [care] about anything but getting paid. As far as ive ever read antibiotics wont kill fungus or mold... You probably need anti fungals but id suggest a different doctor fist considering antifungals can be dangerous and I wouldnt take anything without knowing the side effects. Find a doctor who actually took his/her oath seriously. Ask around, they do exist. I would think there would be some kind of vaporized medicine for a lung condition but im no doctor. Either way you need to take care of it fast. I honestly think alot of your issues will clear up once your body isnt constantly under attack.

Robyn, the plain ol' turmeric powder from the grocery store is very useful. Could be the actual root is better, but the powder is powerful too.

thank you!! After many yrs of not being able to work and seeing many docs my mother did whisper she had taken that banned fertility drug to have me. I have had food allergies and bad insomnia since birth. Often sick, then the 3 biggies at age 32, now I live on morphine. So yes, stomach problems. The food allergies was never diagnosed, we didnt have the internet back then, no doc back then would ever suggest food allergies. I was probably born with candida and celiac. Any carb foods used to make me gag. But I kept eating them. I often wonder if I stopped eating my gut would heal. I use tumeric powder on my veg but its not as good as the real thing, is it?

Robyn, if you are not responding to oral nutritional supplementation or modified diet, it is very likely you have digestive problems like H Pylori, Stomach or Intestinal (duodenal) Ulcer, Leaky Gut Syndrome, Crohn's etc. H Pylori or Candida or any pathogen will cause these ulcerative conditions. Must first kill the pathogens then rebuild the digestive system.

Or, you could have some unknown Congenital Disorder. After suffering many physical and mental weaknesses over the course of my life, I have come to the conclusion that I must have suffered some nutritional deficiencies in embryonic development as the result of my mother being over prescribed a pharm diuretic. Recapitulate your life and note any or all major or minor illnesses and even try to learn of your mom's condition or any meds during your development.

If your Cytochrome P450 1 is too high and 2 is too low, it seems appropriate to use the herb/spice Turmeric or Curcumin.

Dear Lisa, Bill, Ted, anyone, since I cant seem to discover the crux of this problem even after doing what everyone has suggested - is there any clue in, I have mentioned my white tongue, my adrenal problems, viral, metal toxicities, liver - phase 1 too high, phase 2 too low except Id been taking some dmso so there was a sulfur pathway, even though in terrible pain I try to do some ex so I walk & I cant get away from a petrol & perfume exposure. More recently I have tried a yoga, pilates class. Big room well ventilated, not too many problems with deodorants I can do a pilates class if I dont do anything that uses my neck or shoulders, bulging disc at c4, 5, t5 - that or just the fibro if I did all the they wanted me to Id be on the floor for a week. But yoga stretches 1 or 2 is OK. Anymore than that and I feel like Im poisoned. Its so incredibly painful Im almost in a coma. And can last for days. Am I ever going to find out whats going on?

Anyone with a Mystery illness of any type should do research into "Mycoplasma" or "Biofilm". If you have a diagnosis from a Doctor and you just aren't getting better, please do yourself a favor and see if this is something that rings a bell. The mycoplasmas can be located anywhere anywhere in the body, producing a number of poisons like lactic acid, uric acid, cyanide, and formaldehyde, to name just a few. It can be very hard to diagnose, and most doctors will probably give you that deer in the head lights look if you mention it. The most interesting thing about mycoplasm is the large number of people who find they were diagnosed with an altogether different disease who have a complete cessation of symptoms once they start a treatment for mycoplasma.

EDTA, lactoferrin, Berberine, MSP IV are some things to try.
Good luck to all, D

Hi, it sounds a bit like myasthenia gravis - my mums best friend at college developed it in the 1950s - they were at teacher training college for sports teachers and she became weak on her feet- my mum said the first symptoms were the fact that she couldn't pronnounce the w in her sister Wendy's name and also she lost the strength in her arms to for example put clothes away in wardrobe and then walk. Nowadays I think this is a deficiency disease. You husband could have a hair analysis to look at deficiencies like copper. Even Alzheimer's could be a deficiency disease.. Best wishes x

I wish I could help with telling you what this could be but I don't have a clue. I read your post and immediately thought of a case where a young girl was having similar issues followed by actual seizures. She took black walnut tincture for two weeks and the seizures reduced dramatically and after 3 months were extremely rare. In your case, if I were face the same issues, I would try the black walnut cleans as outlined by Dr. Hulda Clark. Do a web search and beware of the nay-sayers of her method. There are vids online and personal testimonials of just how effective the protocol is for a variety of issues. Good luck be yours!

Hi Kathy, Please look up Sharry Edwards on the net & contact her, she is probably the only person who will get to the root of the cause & get your husband back to leading a normal life. Just type in her name. At least go to her website & then decide. She has cured the incurable & no dangerous drugs are involved.

I would like to address my post to Ted, or anyone else in our situation! My husband has been ill for several yrs, can hardly walk, has now developed slightly slurred speech, has been to many neurologists, ALS was just recently ruled out, currently seeing a Dr.who suspects one of the Cerebellar Ataxias. He has an Aunt & Uncle on his father's side that passed away from an unknown neurological disease. Possible Ataxia. We are scared to death, he has already been tested by Athena lab, & came back negative, however we were told there are new genes currently being added, he may still have it? He will soon undergo a brain pet scan. Is there any treatment he can possibly try?

Or.... He could have none of those specific symptoms mentioned in another post - and just have a horrid stomach ache, back pain, with a fever with chills. I had my appendix rupture, with sepsis. Almost died. All I could remember was all of the medical personel asking me if I had thrown up. (I had not). Apparently if you do not throw up it is not presenting as appendix. Whatever. The ER decided to keep me as my white blood cells were "a bit high".

My 70 year old doctor said it was the worst case he had ever seen. Drainage tubes and morphine and a week stay in the hospital...

Just to say - not everything presents in a "classic" or "textbook" manner. Keep pushing if you are not comfortable with what you are being told. The sick person is worn down, and needs an advocate.... a strong one who won't take no answer for an answer.

Good luck.

Janice, Has he been checked for chronic appendicitis? Pain on the right side, vomiting, weakness, malaise, lethargy (especially if coupled with a lack of appetite) all are symptoms of chronic appendicitis, with the pain in the right side being the biggest red flag (usually people feel it just to the right of the belly button, but when I had my appendicitis mine was on the very lower right quadrant of my abdomen). Two tests that doctors do to test for appendicitis is to press gently into his right side where the pain is located to see if he "guards" (reflexively tenses up) or, you can tap his abdomen on his left side to see if he feels any pain in his right. Also, if he feels more uncomfortable when he moves or walks then when he's staying still then that's a very strong sign it might be the appendix.

As opposed to acute appendicitis (the medical emergency kind), chronic appendicitis (also called "rumbling" or "grumbling" appendicitis) is more low-grade and comes and goes over a period of time. Chronic appendicitis is a condition that often goes undiagnosed but causes real problems for people. He may have to insist on getting a CT scan so they can check to see if his appendix is inflamed.

Has he tried using ACV daily? Depending on whether his gastric system can handle it or not, it might be helpful because it keeps the body in an alkaline state, warding off infections. I took some ACV when I had appendicitis and it seemed to help until I could get to the ER.

I hope this helps. Good luck to you, Jennifer

Hi Janice, I know you said your friend is in Utah. Can he find out if there are any far infrared saunas that he can use in the area. You say he has chronic infections and improved when he left his home so something there most likely poisoned him. Some are mentioning molds but it could be any number of things if he is very sensitive. Far infrared saunas can detox heavy metals, chemicals, molds- a whole host of toxic substances. I am not going to go blow by blow but instead will give you a link that is very well written on how much this type of sauna can do for us.

I know that the article only endorses a certain far infrared sauna but I know the one I use once to twice a week is an amazing far infrared sauna that also has the wonderful benefit of no EMF's another type of toxicity! The name of the company is called Clearlight Saunas. You can read about those at healwithheat.com. Many of the top doctors use them to heal patients including Dr. Brian Clements who has Hippocrates Health Institute in Florida. Hope this information helps. I wish him the best, Lisa

Right side pain around waist and vomits can come from gallstones. Check if he was tested with ultrasound or CT scan for the gallstones.

In http://immunerecovery.net/ clinic they can help him to boost the immune system with large dose of liquid vit C and/or large dose of colloidal silver. They treat all patients, not cancer only. There are other places too where they may use colloidal silver or other type of antifungal treatment.

If his case if fungus - he may get some help from GSE (grapefruit seed extract) and H2O2. How to use both products is described in other places on EarthClinic. Very strict anti-fungus diet is essential. I recommend to read The Body Ecology Diet, which is very good start to get familiar with anti-yeast products. There is a lot of places on the web taking about anti-yeast diet, however the book sums up all that. GSE and H2O2 alone without diet want work. If he decides to use GSE and/or H2O2 please start slowly, from 2, 3 drops per day. Use ONLY food grade H2O2 from a health food store, 35%. He will also need strong probiotic supplements, for example saccharomyces boulardii with MOS.

Often I use EarthClinc search engine to quickly find out what I am looking for.

Your friend is being bombarded by toxins and anaerobic microbes!!! I had colon cancer (which I cured with the drip therapy from hydrogen peroxide) and it doesn't sound like that but it doesn't matter because he is being over run by bad bugs which means his body is being deprived of active oxygen in the blood!! And you can only get this healing effect by 35% foodgrade hydrogen peroxide or ozone. Anti-biotics has burnt out his immune system and the bad thing about this is that it kills the good bugs (aerobic) also. I'm on fb and I have a health site called "better health by undrstanding the cause" if you want to learn more.

Please help me! A friend of mine is severely ill for about 3 years now. The problem they think it is his colon. He has chronic pain in his right side, sometimes vomits, some weight loss, is always tired and is weak. Also he has chronic infections. The last time he was in the hospital his major organs started to shut down. The doctors had to put him in a coma for 3 or 4 days to save his life. He left the hospital free of infection. He told me he has had infection in 45% of his body and has died 3 times. His infection is back hes in a lot more pain now, tired and weak. He is now considering getting a wheelchair. He is 35 years old with the body of a 65 year old now.

The first week of July he spent a week at his parents house which is a few hours away from his house and he did amazingly well. I am wondering if something in his home environment is causing this. The doctors have no clue what this is and he has spent years on antibiotics, pain pills and other meds. He says his immune system sometimes gets low. I am in florida and he is in utah so I cant be there to help him. Please can you help us remove the infection at least? No it is not diverticulitis. I am afraid he is dying.

Let me present my symptoms and signs. First felt the effects one week ago today. It feels like the flu but, then again, it feels different. Intermittent fevers, minor stomach upset, occasional muscle pain that travels, persistent cough. Last night it appeared to be going away but this morning it's back again strong. Very little appetite. I feel hunger but cannot think of anything I want to eat. Malaise. I generally prefer to treat myself naturally and am not the type to dash to the doc. Passing no sort of infected or bloody discharge. Ideas? Treatments? Oh, also, I am married and do not engage in an at risk lifestyle. 57, been in great health for years, 190 lbs., non-smoker

Sorry if I might seem harsh, but the situation might worsen if you don't act. Friends might help, doctors, perhaps, but I found, the hard way that there is a power within us, that can help us more.

Also go out in the sun whenever possible, and rediscover the simple pleasures in life - bird's song, flowers and all nature.

Don't blame yourselves or the others, just pick up your life as it is and make it better.

Anonymous from Gothenburg, I think in such a cause you should pray to whatever divinity you might have a appetence to. Many women have a sudden increase of attachments during and after pregnancy, yours just seems more extreme.

Your husband's behavious is a reflection of your own subconscious aggresivity.

As for your child - don't expect to smile at you just because you gave birth to him. He will smile you if you give him a motherly, warm feeling, and after YOU smile to him. In love you have first to give, then to receive.

Try fasting, as restrictive as you can get, sensory deprivation (praying a certain amount of time in the dark and quiett). Ask (mentally) for forgiveness from the ones you thought ill of. The present is a product of our past. Our reality is a product of our mind and has at the base our feeling.

It will take a while, you will probably have lots of relapses, but the incredible feeling of love back in your life will be worth it. When you will be able to feel that your love doesn't depend of anythin, it just exist within, you will have a whole new future, and any ncessary treatment will be revealed. Best wishes, Kira

I'm truly sorry about your story... however, your frame of mind has everything to do with how successful you are with your recovery.

Surround yourself with people who love and care about you... If someone is smoking around you and you faint, perhaps they are not true friends. You need to let them go and move on. If you have no friends, find some. No excuses. Be brave and put yourself first in a loving care manner, but also your husband, as much as you can. Anger and guilt WILL eat you from the inside.

i get the feeling that your senses are way overloaded. Find herbs and teas that calm and soothe, such as camomile. Avoid for now, any accostment on your senses, including loud music, (classical music is wonderful and healing), spicy foods, angry or thoughtless words ( both to speak and be heard), rough touch... you get my drift.

For now I would suggest a total detox, no white flour, processed foods. Brown rice for calming nerves.

I will be sending white light out for your recovery... Pray if you are of faith, that alone will be positive thought. think only of positive and abundance and healthy body as much as you are able and work towards a goal of health and away from a place of anger and sorrow.

please keep us updated.

Hello Bill, once again thank you for responding. I did take my daughter to a naturopath and he had her do a microbial ecology panel that checks the DNA of her stool. There was no fungus present. The only reccommendation he gave was a homeopathic ointment which work temporarily.

We have decided to treat her eczema as if it were a virus and IT IS CLEARING UP! We are giving her L-Lysine and Silver (internally and a gel topically).

I am not sure if there is something else I should give her or what may work better. But so far we like what we are seeing.

She does take vitamin D and probiotics daily.

In her baths we add H202 or ACV (which soothes the itch).

Again, Thanks. Debbie

Debbie
Posted by Bill (San Fernando, Philippines) on 05/11/2012

Hi Debbie... Your daughter's cracking joints -- called crepitus -- are due to gases, from unknown origin, which collect in between her joints in the back. Clostridium bacteria can also be involved here. Checkout this link for a description of crepitus.

The easiest remedy is to use magnesium supplements or, easier still, just rub magnesium oil over the backbone area(this may sting a little) or simply add two cups of magnesium sulphate(Epsom salt) or magnesium chloride to her bathwater when you bathe your daughter and the magnesium will be quickly absorbed transdermally.

Personally, I would not believe the doctors when they say that your daughter does not have candida. Here is a recent post post by a man who was told exacty the same thing by his doctor and yet he is convinced(and rightly so) that he has candida. Doctors are very bad at recognizing the many signs of candida. If you daughter has a white furry tongue, low energy and any digestive problems then these can all be signs of candida. Also, if your daughter does have candida and you do not cure it, then it will be very difficult to treat and cure all the other problems that are also associated with your daughter's condition.

So the best thing to do -- to absolutely confirm whether candida is part of your daughter's problem or not -- is to go to a naturopath and have a hair mineral analysis done. Also ask the naturopath to check whether your daughter definitely has candida or not. Naturopaths are far more sympathetic, aware and capable of recognizing the dangers of candida on health than doctors.

Hi Bill, thank you for your response. Candida has been ruled out and her gut flora is great. My husband and I agree that it is a virus of some sort. What I found interesting in your post in that viruses can hide in fluids in the backbone. She can turn her torso from side to side and the cracking of her spine is unbelieveably loud. You can hear each vertabrae pop. To me this is not normal. Do you think this has anything to do with a virus? And how would we go about getting that diagnosed? Again, thank you! Debbie
