Hello Anonymous from Gothenburg; Please do not give up I too felt like you, I am also allergic to just about everything so I know how you feel. I have a long story but I won't bore you with it although, I will tell you please please check your B12 and your Vitamin D3 levels I suffer deficiencies of both these vitamins and had most of your symptoms which in turn affected my thyroid (also check this). A deficiency can do awful things to our minds and bodies unfortunately the doctors don't always check the simple things and miss it. If you are not getting outside to get enough sun this will cause your deficiency in the D3 and I have found most of us with allergies do suffer from B12 deficiency also..

Just by correcting these two vitamins will make you feel so much better and at least enough to be able to cope and have more energy to look after your baby, and most of all give you hope. Once you have started the vitamins it works very quickly and I would also take some magnesium, all these vitamins will help you with the dizzy feeling the aches and pains and also depression. I find the D3 and B12 make me feel happier, my B12 was so low I have to have regular injections and my D3 was also low that I could hardly get out of bed and I would just feel so bad I would just cry because I used to feel I was never going to feel better but I did so don't give up hope you will get better just keep trying different things until you know what suits your body. One more thing if you are still suffering a mold problem please take a Probiotic regularly. Good Luck....

Thank you so kindly, I have already ordered some b'complex and I have 5htp at home, but am relactant to take it since I am breastfeeding and a, not sure about the effects. My husband currently takes it and we are about to seek help and councelling. This has been taking its' toll on us, and I have not been myself for a year- smashing things, being irrationally aggressive and mad about everything, screaming and hitting, then forgetting what I was mad about 5 minutes later. During one period I had forgotten when my baby had eaten and one time he went 10 hours straight without food. Both me and my husband were convinced he had eaten about two hours earlier until we started counting hours.. So you are right, we both need some kind of help, since he also has been exposed to mold and caughing up blood... I most certanly will try the b-compley and slowly introduce the e vitamine and the recommended enzyme. By the way, after the cayenne, my chest pain is GONE!!! My chest is like new, no pain, no tightness.. True miracle! Thank you so, so much for taking your time to help me!!

I have been on the receiving end of information from this wonderful site but felt compelled to now offer you some advice---PLEASE---pick up your phonebook, call your family or call your local hospital and talk to someone. You are suffering alone and you do need to speak with someone--if you cannot do it for yourself -do it for your baby---in the USA we have women's shelters and they are full of women who have husbands who "didn't understand"--don't worry about that--please try to ask for help--I'll say a prayer for you. The Chinese Herbalist is a wonderful idea- Do not give up.

Hi Anonymous ; This is an urgent situation. If there is any chance of harming each other and children, contact should be avoided. An excellent counselor needs to be contacted. ( My strong opinion about counselors is that they should be able to set a good example themselves to be able to treat others. ) Next, the emotional symptoms listed : Depression, Irrational Anger, OCD, and even Suicidality are associated with B12 deficiency. Dizzyness can be a neurological symptom of B12 deficiency. Multiple Chemical Sensitivities, chest pain, and pain anywhere that there is a nerve may also indicate low B12. These symptoms mean that the B12 deficiency, for whatever cause, are advanced. Oftentimes, the whole family may need treatment. Injections may be needed either at first, or for life.

Supplements may also be effective, such as sublingual types, (methylcobalamin), 1000-5000 mcg. Daily. The symptoms may take months to improve. Dizzyness may continue in the first month, so stay steady. The whole B-complex is needed, low dose. Niacinamide is very calming and may be felt in an hour or so. I recommend 500 mgs. Or less. Sometimes more at one time can trouble the liver and cause nausea. 5HTP with B6, can also be calming, also takes about an hour. I see you're taking magnesium, good, transdermal applications are great because you can feel it when you need it. A high potassium diet, with mostly vegetables is great for nerves and moods. It's good to avoid simple sugars, simple carbohydrates because they disturb moods. Vitamin E and CoQ10 help nerves and dry tissues. Nutrient dense foods are most helpful, good fresh liver, fishes, etc. are great sources of B12.

I suffered immensly from mold exposure during pregnancy. The pregnancy fortunately went well despite this, and I was fine after escaping the mold, however, after the birth it all went downhill. I have several issues, mostly regarding ear itch, congested throat, excessive plegm, often with gray things, blue or lime green balls in it, (sometimes it also looks like dried blood), lung fungus, horrible back pain (inside the back if it makes sense, mostly not the bones themselves). Have been sleeping on the floor for months, the only place where it does not hurt to lie down, however, it is horrible to wake up, since I am always in lot of pain. Also my joints are painful and my knees hurt a lot. I have random pain everywhere, sometimes inside my arm, my hand, my leg, anywhere really. My sinuses and my throat, as well as my ear feels clogged. Every time I went to the doctor, they try to feed me antibiotics, which can kill me due to my lung fungus (don't know the sort, but that was the diagnosis, with the blood coughing and the rest... ). Last time, I was prescribed 6 (SIX! ) different antibiotics. Needless to say, I did not take any and do not want to go to the doctor anymore. They treat every single symptom by itself and make me sicker..

However, I am tired all the time and dizzy. I gave birth 4 months ago, but have no energy for my baby and running out of milk, which is horrible since he does not tolerate formula and breaks out in eczema so I do want to breastfeed him. I also have eczema on my left ankle bone and on the foot. The VCO has not helped much regarding the eczema or anything to be honest. My condition worsens every day and I am on the verge of suicide, have no energy whatsoever. I also experience signs of depression, OCD and agression. I find it extremely painful to have intercourse and am unable to use a small tampon even. It is extremely hard on my marriage and my husband has become emotionally and physically abusive after this hard period. He does not understand what I am going through. I have become extremely allergic to many substances after the mold, dust, smoke, detergents, strong smells... He does not take me seriously and aggavates it all by not being careful and fighting with me constantly, calling me names and causing me enormous stress every day. My health worsens by day, I have no wish nor energy to live, and I can't even stand up sometimes since I am so dizzy.

I have no idea what is wrong with me.. I assumed aspergillosis or systematic candida, do you think this is what it sounds like? I started taking collagen for my back, which helped, but I have such a strong brain fog, and forget taking stuff, doing daily chores etc.. I did oil pulling with sunflower oil, but had horrible side effects, too much plegm, rash, acne, eczema that I still have etc... Virgin Coconut Oil did nothing when oilpulling.. Virgin Olive Oil has been ok, but I feel not much difference, takes up phlegm a bit, but that is all.. I also take a probiotic shot with vco, and I take some sodium bicarbonate in water sometimes. When it gets bad I inhale some h2o2, but nothing really helps.. It does help to drink a bit for energy, but the day after I have some very bad side effects and I get dizzy and cannot get out of the bed because of the fatigue... I am not sure if this is because of the h2o2.. I also sometimes take magnesium citrate. I do not remember to take any of it regularly due to the brain fog.

My life has been taken away from me and I do not know what to do.. I have cut down on sugar, but I live in Sweden, where even dark bread is made with sugar... And I have such a low energy, and I breastfeed so I cannot change my diet dramatically.. Less bread, no added sugars, no aspartame or sweetners and almost no milk products except for probiotic and ricemilk. I cannot cook due to the pain and most of the food I eat is health portion microwave food. In the last few days I also started experiencing chest pains on the left side. I thought that I was having a heart attack, although no numbness on the left side. The blood pressure is rather ok, but my pulse has always been high, while the bp was sooo low during most of my pregnancy (due to mold?) Now it is normal- 117 -75, but the pulse is 91. I had some cayenne pepper yesterday and it actually went away!! But this morning it was back, which I again remedied with cayenne pepper. The Virgin Coconut Oil I am using every morning is without smell, and a yellow liquid which made me wonder, it seems it's not virgin.. The virgin one is supposed to smell of coconuts, right? Now I am thinking the chest pains are due to the Virgin Coconut Oil (CO?) after reading some warnings..

I am soo so lost. Feels like I am going to die, and when it doesn't I just want to die because I feel so tired of just barely surviving.. I really am on the verge of giving up, I don't want my son to grow up like this, watching his mother dying on the floor, walking like an old woman at the age of 30, not being able to use a deodorant or eat a cake or have a normal life. Watching me crying in agony over back, join and chest pain and screaming and yelling due to instable mental state.. I cannot do this anymore.. You are my last hope, PLEASE HELP ME.. Thank you for existing!

If your stomach is not flat, then wearing shorts, trousers and especially underwear that presses against the skin the whole day is also not good, and might just be the reason for the mentioned back pain.

Putting your shirts inwards will help cushion your abdominal area against the intense pressure, and hopefully in time will lessen the pain.

God bless you!

Sounds to me like it might be eyrthema nodosum. I had it two years ago. Unfortunately, it can be caused by just about anything. Viral, bacterial or fungal infections, hormonal imbalances such as birth control pills or pregnancy, or auto immune issues such as lupus, RA or cancer. I seem to recall low B12 might also be an issue. I never did find out what caused mine as all my tests came back normal except a couple types of white blood cells being just slightly out of normal ranges. Because I also ran a fever off and on at the beginning, mine might have been caused by an infection. I did stop taking birth control pills just in case.

If that is what you have, I'd treat the cause if you're able to figure out what it is. Otherwise, about all you can do is treat the symptoms and wait it out. I'd look up edema, inflamation and strengthening immune system on the ailments tab. Also fever if you're running one and it's high enough to be an issue. It took me about two weeks to get over the worst symptoms and about six to be largely back to normal. One of my ankles will still act up occasionally if I wear heels.

2 weeks ago I awoke in agony in both feet, both ankles and 8 - 10" up both legs. Edema, big red splotches all over my feet, unable to move my toes. Dr took blood test which showed no rheumatoid arthritis, no lupus, no lyme disease and no gout, gave me steroid shot and sent me to a Rheumatologist who I saw today. Neither he nor his partner had ever seen anything like what I am presenting. He had 8 vials of blood drawn and x-rays taken. I go back in 3 weeks. After hours of research on the internet I have not seen one person who has described the same symptoms. Does anyone have an idea what it could be? Can't walk. Dr said bursitis does not have the "skin color change" as he called it. Thank You

About 3 months ago, I started washing my hair with baking soda. I have short hair so take about 2 Tbsp in a plastic container in the shower. I mix a little water in it and pour it, little by little, on my head (I ignore the ends of my hair). I rub in well and comb my fingers through my hair until it feels kinda slippery and I know the BS has dissolved all the way. Then I rinse and dry. I don't use any other product on my hair. At first, I couldn't get my hair really clean and I was told that is because my head was producing a lot of oil to make up for the harsh detergents it had grown accustomed to. It took about 3 weeks (and no one noticed that my hair was not super clean -- it just didn't look shiny) for the oils to settle down. Now my hair is shiny and soft and looks great. AND I had a small skin cancer sore that is gone and a mole on head that is almost gone. Maybe it will help with a sore scalp!

I got my son to do this -- he has long thick hair and his hair looks so good now. Shiny and the ends are no longer dry. Really a nice change!

Just wanted to put in my 2 cents for D.E. (food grade) and iodine for my thyroid (my resting body temperature had dropped to 96 degrees which is quite low). I take 10 drops a day of Lugol's 2% solution and 1 Tbsp of DE in a little water before bed. A little while after my BS/ACV after dinner cocktail!

I am new to this site but read about your difficulties and would like to suggest you read up on ingesting food-grade diatomaceous earth for your skin, hair growth and joint problems. I would never have believed something so simple could achieve the positive results I've gained - some I wasn't even seeking at the time! I thoroughly stir 1 tablespoon of Earthworks DE into (any) chilled tomato juice morning and evening. The tomato juice density keeps the DE suspended and therefore easy to swallow all. Anything thick works best.

I agree with the addition of EFA's and Vit D. Many benefits to those. I also use GSE for illness but not that many drops as a preventative measure. It might be caustic on your sensitive stomach right now.

Wishing you renewed health.

Please read through this website first though. Lots of great info on this hidden disease. Good luck.

Sol... I had similar symptoms, although not as severe, as your wife... The runny nose when eating, digestion troubles, etc... I have been on a gluten, dairy, sugar, and caffeine free "diet" for the past few months and feel much better all around. At this time I am still partially cooking most of my food but am starting to slowly add back raw foods. My nose no longer runs when I eat. I am being treated by a naturopathic doctor. Good luck!

There are a couple things you should try first: lysine, N acetyl Cysteine, zinc acetate, and green tea extract, and selenium yeast. The lysine is 1000 mg, N acetyl cysteine 250 mg. These are taken every hour for six hours, and in evening taken hourly for two hours, before bedtime, If taken for 3 days, the supplement of glutamine is then added hourly dose thereafter along with lysine. Sugar of all kinds is avoided, even fruit sugars, the only thing you can eat is fruit extracts without any sweet, such as red wine extract, The beta glucan is taken twice a day at 3000 mg, zinc acetate is only taken 25 mg for a week only, thereafter weekly dose. The green tea extract is taken twice a day, the preferred one is ECGC (epigallocatechin gallate) but without caffeine. The beta glucan will remove some of allergy symptoms. Bloodroot tincture 10 drops 5 times a day will remove the polyps. If this doesn't work, you can contact my email. If she does not have high blood pressure, the morning dose is sea salt 1/4 teaspoon per cup of water should help reduce the sneezing and runny nose immediately, within 5 minutes, if partial reduction then may try 1/4 teaspoon more. If it doesn't work at all, you can see if taking more will help. This usually work. I don't usually do chicory for smoking but a chicory extract in drops, as bloodroot tincture may also help.

Hi EMD: I remember reading your case in January, and seeing that I was having many of the same unusual symptoms. The strong craving for peanut butter was one of them. I thought it was probably because I needed the niacin, but at that time, I was taking extra niacinamide day and night. In fact, I began reaching for more supplements that had helped in the past, for other symptoms that were recurring. For myself, It turned out to be a B12 malabsorption problem. My guess is that maybe this condition could be a possibility with you and your family. It can be difficult to diagnose because testing is still inaccurate, and some people may only have some of the symptoms from the large constellation. The symptoms you listed : Dizzyness, Hyperventilation, Brain Fog, Crying, Irritability, Memory loss (even temporary), and even Hallucinations are included with B12 deficiency. Even those of us who get plenty of it in our diets, and supplement with an oral B-Complex, can still end up deficient. It is so difficult to absorb and transport, and it is so easily destroyed, that it's no wonder that I'm seeing this possibility with so many of us here. ( I must also account for my own bias. Pardon) I have found that taking a sublingual lozenge of methylcobalamin daily has helped me with all of these symptoms, and has helped increase availabilty of the other B's, which are also crucial. It may be worth a trial for 6 months.

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

Hello, everyone! I thought I would write again and give you a few updates. I'm sorry I haven't written back sooner, but I was looking into your wonderful suggestions.

I did switch from the glyconutritional supplement I was taking to pure inner leaf aloe vera juice. Surprisingly, the aloe gave me the same effects with a fraction of the cost. The only thing you have to be careful of with aloe is that it can cause stomach pains, gas, etc. I found that if I took it with something very acidic, such as grapefruit juice or ACV, I usually did not have a problem. Then one day, out of curiosity, I made up some dandelion coffee (roasted dandelion root tea). I was amazed. Not only was it tasty, but my brain started to clear up part way through my first cup. I did some research, and apparently you need to take dandelion root for a few months before you receive the full benefits. So, I've been drinking three cups (one after every main meal) for quite some time. Dandelion is wonderful, guys! The root helps with sluggish livers, resets your internal ph level, helps to kill yeast, and, although it is a diaretic, it does not deplete potassium from your body. Although I loved all of this, I had to stop taking ACV because too much gave me heartburn. Therefore, I also stopped drinking aloe juice (without the extra acid, my stomach was upset all day). However, with just dandelion alone, my body still retained the extra stability that I had felt with the aloe. So, I don't regret switching over.

I have also started taking some of the Bach's Flower Essences to see if they would help with the stress that can aggravate my condition. I cannot say enough good things about them. They have helped to focus my brain so that I can really see what is causing the stress instead of just dealing with the symptoms. When I started looking into them, I was VERY skeptical. However, I went ahead and ordered some. I made the mistake of taking a few drops directly from the bottle, and it was so strong my head spun. So, if you order/make any, please be sure to dilute them first. They can also be applied directly to your skin. If I have a sore muscle, I'll rub a few drops into it, and, within seconds, there is relief. It doesn't last very long, but there are no side effects and I'd rather do that then take lots of pain killers. When I had a cold, I rubbed some across my sinuses, and it caused them to drain. There are a lot of applications, and I am pleased to see that my skepticism was proved wrong.

Wow, so that's what I've been doing the past couple of months. I did spend some time in China several years back, and I would love to see a TCM practitioner. Unfortunately, I live in the least populated state in America, and there is no one who does complete TCM. We did find some acupuncturists in the nearest town though. I am planning on seeing one of them in the next month or so. I'll let you all know how that goes.

In the meantime, I appreciate all your ideas and your patience. If you think of anything else that might help, let me know. Thank you all so much!

To Sol /For your wife's mystery illness.

Try 20 drops of Tabasco (it only has three ingredients, no preservatives) in about 4 ounces of water, and drink it. Do this a couple times per week.

Then use only as needed. So many benefits from this recipe.

To The Person with BO.

Use a lemon or lime. roll on counter putting pressure on lem/lime. cut in two and rub on problem area. You will not need to re-apply for 3 to 4 days. No more deoderant and harmful ingredients.

There are two things I can think of that have helped many people with a broad range of conditions and diseases. There is wheat grass juice. A woman by the name of Ann Wigmore developed this treatment back in the 1960s. It does not cost much. You can learn about that on the web. The same with BHT [ butylated hydroxytoluene ]. BHT costs very little and seems to work for many viral diseases and some other conditions also. I think they are at least worth a try. They don`t cost much and many people swear by them....Oscar

Dear Ted,

First of all I wanted to ask you if you offer consulations as I would like to pay for your help.

My wife has a strange disorder that completely affects the quality of her life. When she eats certain foods and the list is never constant, her nose suddenly gets clogged up and she has to blow her nose all the time as if she caught the flue or severe cold. Her nose just runs. Because this has been going on for a while she developed polyps. We went to many doctors in Ukraine and a few in the US (not too many in the US as they are expensive and we cannot afford them). In ukraine one herbalist told her to smoke chicory and exhale it out through her nostrils. This seems to have helped with the polyps and her breathing. Oh I forgot to mention that this problem has affected her breathing. She almost always breathes very heavily as if she is struggling to get in air, this is very noticeable at night.

Now in Ukraine one doctor suggested some of her symptoms might have to do with lactic acid. It seems to be increasing albeit slowly. Her symptoms usually worsen if she eats dairy products and at times sugary products. though the sugary products from the US tend to have a bigger impact than the ones in ukraine.

Nose Xrays and lung Xrays were done, they revealed nothing. Sinusitis was ruled out.

Another factor is that after eating food seems to be getting stuck in her intestines, many times she gets bloated. One doctor suggested IBS but again all these other symptoms started coming after the phelgm/mucous I. E runny nose. She has been suffering from this for now close to 10 years. Sometimes when she goes on a detox her symptoms get better or they go away temporarily but nothing has cured her.

We have tried very severe detox programs. limiting meat, diary, etc but while they have helped nothing has cured her.

Finally she cannot seem to take too much raw food as in lots of salads etc, they seem to irritate her digestive system.

Many years ago she was diagnosed with the Epstein Barr virus. I don't know if this is having some sort of effect, but recent tests did not reveal anything, maybe its dormant.

I would really appreciate some help, because when her nose gets blocked it runs for hours and she cannot talk or lead a normal life, Sometimes it gets so red it looks like its going to bleed because of the amount of time she has to blow her nose. I have seen her go through whole box of tissues in a few hours.

Any help you could offer would be appreciated. I am new member here. So could you tell me how I would check if you posted a reply.

And if you do offer consultations over the phone please let me know. I know you are very busy and any help you can offer will be truly appreciated.

Kind Regards, Sol

You have mercury silver amalgams fillings in your mouth or you in the past have amalgams? Your symptoms look like mercury intoxication. If you decide it to take that you have to do some things to protect you.

Yes boils around the behind and groin area are also a sign of high blood sugar levels. So it would be wise to start watching the sugar intake.

Vanessa

Vanessa, if your stools are light coloured it means that you are not digesting fats properly. I would take some digestive enzymes for that and also probiotics.

For the boil I would read the boil section on earth clinic. Many people have had great success with tumeric.

I would also be working on alkalising my diet. I would go on a "greens detox. Juice all green vegetables and have that for at least 3-5 days. Take chlorella and spirulina. Youtube has a ton of info on juicing.

Keep away from processed foods and drinks. For the exzema people have had luck with cutting out gluten and seeing it disappear.

What's going on with me? Small supplements now seem overpowering as if I took a mega dose. Even food unless it is really simple gives me lethargy and upset after. The sun is even giving me sun rash. I feel like my body is seeing everything as toxic or not being able to break things down right. My urine smells like ammonia, my stools are light colored, my skin is so itchy, I have non-healing eczema and groin boil past several months. I wake up with a dry mouth and very thirsty but with nausea. My blood sugar was a little elevated 119 (I had a little corn 6 hours before, didn't know I'd be tested). My Dr. is doing some blood tests but I won't know anything for a few days.

You might try ACV for cravings and stomach issues (i have found wine vinegar to do the same), but, contrary to what many are doing here: start small!!! I barely take 1/2 dropperful twice a day (with or without a pinch of baking soda) in a glass of water, and it seems to be helping for a number of things.

I feel crystaline stuff under my skin, kind so gravelliy and hard, and like under my skin is not smoothe, like it used to be this is most everywher under my skin- somenone said it might be gout, but its not in my toes or hands.

Also I am bone tired, sluggish with bad digestion adn numbness in legs and feet. Does anything dissolve the crystals? Also is anything good for suagar cravings- I am out of control with sugar and carbs and salt

Thanks

I also live in considerable constant pain resulting from an old, but severe gunshot wound to my abdomen that blew my right kidney and most of my liver and half my large intestine out my back. At times the pain seems very bad to me. The one thing that really does help is to cry like a baby for as long as I feel like it. This really does work. Sometimes I feel pretty good for 2 or 3 days after a good cry. I guess you could call it CRY BABY THERAPY. It does work, at least for me....Oscar

Your symptoms are textbook gout symptoms. Gout is when your body over produces uric acid and the excess forms crystals between your joints and under the skin. A diet high in trans fats, sugar and starches is very acid forming and will trigger gout in those who are predisposed to it as well as creating a climate where yeast and fungus thrive.

Eliminating sugar, starch and trans fats is a must for you to start to alkalize your system which should help considerably. In addition, drinking pitcher of water with a 1/2 cup of lemon juice and a 1/2 tsp of baking soda and taking a tsp of virgin coconut oil 4 times a day will relieve gout symptoms if it has not progressed to foar and should clear up the candida.

Shifra, Most of your symtoms could be side effects of the three meds you listed, unless you had all of the symptoms before you started taking them. I'm sure you realize that you need to be careful in weaning yourself off them especially if the neurontin was prescribed for seizures.

Neurontin's side effects - numbness of an arm or legs; clumsiness; dizziness; tiredness; weight gain; back pain.

Neurontin is sometimes used for Fibromyalgia, although when you look at its list of side effects maybe it can make it worse. Alpha lipoic acid can be a good alternative for Neurontin if it's for Fibromyalgia or diabetic issues. Scroll down to #5 at http://www.stopagingnow.com/liveinthenow/article/10-drugs-with-great-natural-alternatives

One of Effexor's side effects is a state of near sleep.

Trazodone's side effects include; drowsiness; mood swings; memory problems.

There can also be interreactions between effexor and trazodone when taken together because they both increase seratonin.

Did you consider testing for Lyme?

You may have a B defieciency like someone said. You should change your diet anyway. But many of your symptoms sound Lyme-like.

Hi Shifra ; I understand the pain you are having. It truly can make all life functions become impossible. I have tried so very many practices, especially dietary ones for pain, and while I fully support a nutrient dense diet including certain superfoods , made from scratch broths, and naturally fermented foods; I found that I was not recovering health without supplementation of B-12 (methylcobalamin). Without this supplement, I would be diapered in a wheelchair, with little of my 5 basic senses left. I would have no feeling in many areas of my body, and excruciating pain everywhere else. I'm sorry to put this so graphically, but I feel I must.

Now, the B12 will help most with pain, but it will take many months for this. Some places that are numb will begin to tingle as feeling returns. These areas will also become sensitive, temporarily, and some fleeting pain will be felt. I have found that increasing potassium also helps pain. Again, I fully support that one should try to get it in their diet as much as possible, but, I also supplement potassium. It also helps moods as healing progresses. I mix a powder of potassium gluconate, 250 mg. , into about 6 oz. of water. This can be taken once an hour for pain. I admit that sometimes I take 500 mg. in this way, but I do not recommend taking any more that this as a supplement, because side effects may occur that would be antithetical to healing. With food and vegetable juices, one can take many more mgs. of potassium than that, unless sodium is low. If that is the case, then I recommend adding sea salt to any food or supplement that may have too high a ratio of potassium to sodium and chloride. ( I think that may be why people may have a "detox". ) I have had pretty good results with amino acids such as tryptophan, and tyrosine. I have also had very good results with Peppermint oil, oil of Oregano, and DMSO. I sometimes take small amounts of them internally, but mostly transdermally. Someone may scold me, but I do put a rather heavy coat of peppermint oil on painful areas. Maybe these suggestions will allay pain until the B-12 heals it.

hi, thanks for the advice. Are there any countra indications for taking dl-phenylalanine, I mean, is it a problem to take if you have certain medical condittions and also I take trazadone, nerontin, and effexor -which I am slowing coming off of- any bad interactions with thsoe meds as far as anynone knows?

Thanks, shifra

Hi Shifra, To help break the pain cycle you could try dl-phenylalanine. It may take three to four weeks to start to see results but it really can help. For its theraputic benefits it must be taken on an empty stomache and wait 30 mins after taking it before eating. You can take it with a little juice or water. I found I needed to take it first thing in the morning and also late afternoon (I had been in servere pain for many years) after the pain was not noticable I continued for a while with only the am dose. Also some of the alkalizing remedies may help you with the pain, particularly muscle pain. With the fatigue as well it is hard to do much, but once the pain cycle is broken it is easier and you can think clearer. All the best, Maria

If I had multiple symptoms like you do I would be immediately taking sugar/processed foods out of the diet. No processed salt, only use Unrefined sea salt. Go on a green juice fast; wheatgrass included as well as Aloe Vera. I would be taking spirulina and chlorella as well as Chlorophyl. These will all detox the body. I would also be taking mega doses (maybe start off small) of Vitamin C. Also some Essential Fatty Acids (cod liver oil.. fermented is best).

Added to the above I would be taking ACV (1-2 tablespoons) in 8oz water per day.

Coconut oil

Raw honey

I would stay away from synthetic vitamins and try to stick with the "super foods".

Chicken broth is great for vitamins and minerals as well.

Stay away from diet drinks and MSG. Diet drinks usually contain aspartame which is poison to our bodies.

They say that health begins in the gut/digestion. I would be looking at my diet.

Would be helpful to know what your diet is like?

Try starting your "wellness journey" with a small lick of Celtic Sea Salt every time you drink a glass of water (which should be more times a day than you do now, but don't overdo it).

Hi,

I really need help. I am in excruciating pain almost all the time, mainly in my neck and shoulders, but also on the sides of my stomach and lower back. the pain is just under my skin, and feels gravelly, like there are granules in there, and some hard stuff that feels like shards of glass.

Nothing seems to help, not acupunture, (which I find excruciating adn ineffective), or chiro, or massage-it inflames it more etc. The pain is so bad, I find myself not wanting to live-I'm not sucidal.

also I am so tired!! I have had chronic fatigue FOR a long time, but now, I can barely drag myself around, I want to sleep all the time, but I have lots of trouble sleeping. I feel groggy and almost drunk tho I never drink booze.

Also, my feet are kind of numb as are my lower legs. I have all kinds of gastric distress-gas, bloating, belching farting reflux, irritable colon, spittng up, ocassinal nausea

I am totally hooked on food, especailly sugar, carbs and salty stuff, I cant stop. Until very recently I was too thin, but now I am starting to pack on the pounds.

I also feel depressed, enraged, resentful, afraid and terribly sad, negative, I cant remember stuff and have trouble learning new things.

By far, the worst is the pain and the fatigue. I dont think the Apple Cider Vinegar would be good for me as I have candida and vinegar makes me feel awful.

Any help would be greatly apprecaited,

shifra

Needle pain at lower back: Again assuming you are overweight, and also someone who sits long hours in front of the computer like many people do these days, then there is likelihood that your heavy upper body weight is putting tremendous pressure on your lower back and kidney areas. If the chair is a hard wooden or plastic one, then the bottom opposite effect might equally put lots of strains on them.

There are a few solutions you can try:
1) Sit on a comfortable chair with back support and a soft cushion where you
sit.

2) Take some time off regularly if you are going to sit long hours.

3) Don't use underwear with tight and thin rubber band on the waist, or any
other tight shorts or jeans, which will block the flow of blood.

Interestingly, if you are to lie down flat on your back and rotate your foot inwards and use your other foot to hold on that position for 2 minutes then you will discover that after a while that needle pain will disappear or at least become less throbbing than before. I got this inspiration after going for so many massages and always notice that the therapist bend the feet inwards each time. You could also do it while standing upright.

Hope these will help.

Mary, I too have had hives, and terrably sore dry cracking hands. Itching burning, sometimes very painful.

I have had so many things from the doctors that have proven so inaffective, that I gave up on them.

I found bathing my hands in vinegar and warm water offered the best relief to the itch, burn, pain. Cycle. However this did tend to dry my skin, so to counter balance that I have alternated between using Almond oil, and lavender oil.

I take orally ACV. And have bathed in HP. 98% better. I found equally as hard to cope with though the fact it would aggrevate me more at night disturbing my sleep patterns leaving me waking feeling exhausted.

Pleased to say with the relief I am now getting and the vast improvement everything else is improving too. Wishing you and all better soon and hope this helps you too.

Hi AJ,

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Have you looked into essential fatty acid deficiency? I didn't see where you are supplementing your intake of efa's and some of your symptoms do sound like an efa deficiency, especially omega 3 and 7. You could do some research into this. The rule of thumb I go by is 15 mg of omega 3 per lb of body weight.

Good luck and health to you.

High blood pressure: Perhaps you're overweight. There is a weight limit for every person, according to his/her height. To find out if you're overweight or not, google for "ideal weight BMI" for a chart of weight and height proportions. If so, then you need to exercise or do labour-intensive work, at least 4 days a week, to build up more muscles and less fat.

Strangely though, I recently measured the blood pressure of 3 fat and large kids, and found out that theirs were normal at round about 105/70 range.

What is wrong with me?

These are the symptoms:

1) Tinnitus at left ear.

2) Sleepy.

3) High diastolic blood pressure, 95 - 120. Systolic okay, 105 - 120.

4) Blood pressure easily jump upon a bit of stress, excitement, anger.

5) Weak legs.

6) Needle pain at lower left back.

7) 1 leg seems shorter than the other.

8) Prone to sad thoughts and worries.

Hi I'm 34 yrs old female, had my baby 2.5 years ago. During last trimester of pregnancy I got melasma on my cheeks. Post delivery I ate about 12 Kgs of Carom seeds, black cardamom and fennels seeds over a period of 6 months with a vegetarian diet. I stopped breasfeeding after 6.5 months of delivery, but my melasma didn't fade, in fact I started to have constipation. Now my skin is very dull, its sagging and melasma is still there, plus over a period of time my constipation has become so bad that I can't pass on without taking a medicine.. I was diagnosed with Zinc deficiency (through hair analysis test) about 4 months ago, then I started to take Zinc supplement (45mg daily). M

  • around 11am- take 8-10 drops of grapefruitseed extract (34%)-started about 7 days ago

  • at 12. 30 pm- 1000mg Vitamin C, 1500mg MSM, 50 mg Zinc, 1 multivitamin capsule, 100mg Sellenium (started for last two days), and probiotics, all in one go immediately after lunch

  • at 4pm- take 8-10 drops of grapefruitseed extract (34%)- started about 4 days ago

  • at 6. 30 pm- 1000mg Vitamin C, 1500mg MSM, 25 mg Zinc, and 100mg Sellenium (started for last two days) all in one go immediately after dinner

  • at 9. 30- Calcium, magnesium & vit. D supplement with milk

  • before sleeping aloe vera colon cleanse with water

I'm on above supplements for about 15 days (except the ones I started later like GSE, Sellenium etc. ). Since I have started this my joint pains have increased to a great extent, all my joints are very stiff and its hard for me to walk properly. My melasma looks a bit dark at times and my skin is getting very dull and a kind a dehydrated. I get headaches frequently (though not severe) and have vomit feeling as well. At times I feel like dizzi and not alert, at times feel like I will fall, tired and weak. Though I wasn't very health before starting these supplements but since I started them it has become much much severe then it used to be before. Not sure if all is working fine, since read copper detoxification gives rise to such symptoms. Anybody expreinced the same or similar stuff?? how long is it expected to continue?? how would I know if my copper is balanced now/

Recently my GP has taken a blood sample (results awaited in next 2-3 weeks) to test Artheritis, Thyroid (since I have started feeling too cold, I switch on my heater even then others will be moving around in sleevless tops complaining of hot weather), calcium and vitamin D imbalances. Any idea what all could be going on with me??

You don't need to inhale, just rinse your sinuses. I suggest using a neti pot or sinumed bottle, dilute the ACV with warm (not hot) distilled water and gently rinse it through your sinuses. In fact, you could try just rinsing the usual sea salt-distilled water combo first, before resorting to the ACV. It is probably going to burn so you really need to dilute it. You can also rinse with hydrogen peroxide (also diluted in warm water). You should not swallow much, it should go in one nostril and come out the other. If congested, take guafenesin (sp?) tablets (sold in the drugstore generically or as Mucinex D) to loosen the gunk up, drink plenty of water. You might also just drink some warm water with ACV (sweeten if you like) to relieve the congestion.

You may not feel congested (breathing fine) but the odor is most likely from mucus and bacteria that have set up housekeeping in your sinus cavities. If you are taking antihistamines for your allergies, you need to be rinsing daily, drinking lots of water, and probably taking the herbal decongestant regularly, because the antihistamine will keep your sinuses from draining (as antihistamine is supposed to do), but this means you will be prone to infection because the bacteria and mucus do not drain out. So, you need to help get that bad stuff out. I hope this helps.

Hello, This may seem like an odd question but I suffer from seasonal allergy. I always smell this foul smell in my nose. Other people can smell it too, its not bad breath but due to allergies. I read about mixing apple cider vinegar with water and dipping cotton ball and putting it in your nose, by inhaling that, the smell would go away. But my question is, is it safe to inhale vinegar directly? Please help.

You are incorrect. Most diseases do not start in the brain. They start in the gut. If you have gut dysbosis (leaky gut) it can cause many many diseases. Many things can cause leaky gut (including antibiotics, and even non steroid pain killers like. The toxins from the gut leak out into the body including the brain.

To heal the body you need to heal the gut first.

If she had a concussion 5 months ago I would be getting her to drink cayenne tea (about 1/2 to 1 tspsn of cayenne pepper or capsules [organic] in boiled water cooled enough to drink) daily. She may have some sort of blood clot which is not showing up.

"The New England Journal of Medicine reported that residents of Thailand have virtually no blood clot problems because of their frequent consumption of cayenne pepper. If you use capsaicin on a regular basis it is an almost guarantee to keep your blood pretty thin and moving fairly good as a rule. About 2 capsules a day is good for general health maintenance".

I have weakness and dizziness randomly and with out warning I continue to fall. I have visited many doctors without much results or any real treatments. I even had neck surgery and later found I didn't need that type of surgery. During reading my medical records I found written by a phd found the patient to have some thing foreign/not sure until further tests.

I was later diagnosed by a neurologist so many things there isn't enough room here to write it in this forum. How-ever another phd report states some thing organic(?)Now I do know that all diseases start in the brain and settle in the base of the spine, when an immune system is comprimised that disease what ever it maybe will arise and cause deep trouble unless treated right away. I did find that organic is mold/fungus; as a young child I lived in a very cold damp house, when I was sleeping room my temp. Would go way down instead of opposite; thus my room was already cold & damp plus my body felt like it was below zero. In the summer I was very cold but my face was burning up. So today I am handicapped and doing my very best to stay above water and beat the system as a science project and either try to reverse my problem or the least try to stablize the problem.

Since I have come into this god send of an awsome website, I am feeling a bit better and not quite as many dizzy spells. My best feature is I have an open mind and willing to try most anything, of course there are a few stepping stones where I do read up on much more of the info. Before just jumping into any situation. I'm the type of person thats in a great hurry to find my cure, but again God allowed me this freedom and this amount of time to do what I need to do. So here I am searching. As I said this American state of mind has found this country to be 100% musty, moldy, humidity, continous dampness therefore we all have chances of mold/fungus(as Drs. quote) according to how we live? enquote: good luck, keep up the good work and keep searching and asking those questions, even if you don't get an answer right away it comes to you in other ways.

    Deanna
Posted by Connie (Slc, Ut) on 05/17/2011

Hello Deanna; I see you have many horrific symptoms and that you have used exhaustive measures to find their cause. I would like to suggest that a B-12 deficiency may be a part of the cause of most of these symptoms. It has been used for allergies to sulfa drugs, molds, etc. It has also been used, in conjunction with B-Complex, to treat hyperpigmentation of the skin along with various lesions, including papulosquamous skin disease. B-12 is used to treat many neurologic conditions, including Bell's Palsy. I have found it to help with my own cachexia, in that it increased my appetite and I was able to rebuild muscle. I take a good B-complex orally, (it helps with stomach acid formation for appetite), and I take a sublingual B-12, methylcobalamin, because I have a malabsorption difficulty. This active form of B-12 doesn't need to be converted by the liver, so it is more easily utilized by the body if there is liver, stomach, or intestinal absorption trouble. Testing B-12 serum levels may be helpful, but results may be skewed by instances of; dysbyosis, (sometimes excessive B-12 analogues are formed but are not usable), a troubled liver may be expelling B-12, or autobodies may be causing a large release of B-12 into serum. A serum test reveals status of active and inactive B-12, and the active form is most desirable. But still, its the best we have, with that understanding.

Many patients and researchers believe that the normal range should be higher than it is now. Here in the US, the normal range is, 193-982 pg/ml. Some people only feel well at levels above 1000 pg/ml. Some researchers feel that the normal range should include 600-2000 pg/ml. Some people respond well with monthly injections, and others combine them with daily sublinguals. I'm still finding my own range, so I'm taking between 2500 -5000 mcgs. of sublingual methyl B-12 daily. When beginning therapy, it is recommended that dosage should be more frequent and or higher initially, then may be reduced after a month. Potassium levels should be observed because they may drop due to new blood cell formation. I hope this may provide relief for you.

Here are two websites you should refer to:

After 13 years of suffering with Lyme disease, a possible cure has been stumbled upon. A cumulative effect of much research has produced the possibility that salt and vitamin C may be all that is needed to beat this elusive illness.

Re: Open to Debate: What's with this salt/Vitamin C Lyme disease cure?

    Hi Rita,
This is Rosemary from Australia. We emailed each other a few years ago and I got a lot of help from you. I have Lyme 29 years, misdiagnosed as CFS 22 years. Four years of anti-biotics did not work as I was in the last stages and believe I was dying. I used a walking frame for years and a wheelchair sometimes. I was falling over due to lack of balance, had terrible neurological problems, was mostly housebound, etc. My doctor had run out of ideas. I suggested the salt & C. She is a very conservative orthodox doctor, but encouraged me to try the protocol as she sould not see any dangers in my case.
I began slowly building up the doses of salt & C until I reached about 8 grams, which was OK for my very low weight. I knew the salt & C was helping me and 3 years down the track I am on a low maintenance dose and doing really well. The treatment was gruelling and not easy, buit it has worked! I traveled to Canada, USA & Hawaii last year. I hiked in mountains, slept in a tent and did things I only dreamed about prior to salt & C. This year I have been traveling in Australia. I am doing many things I haven't been able to do for nearly 30 years. I can even drive again.
I had very low BP, but salt & C has really helped so much. My eyes are finally yoking together and my neurological damage has mostly reversed. My doctor agrees and is amazed by my progress.
I have a Townsend article which explains how salt & vitamin C cause osmotic shock to Bb. I also have a Pub Med article which explains how Bb cannot reproduce in certain concentrations of salt.
I am happy to send them to you.
I love salt & C and believe it has saved my life.
    Kind regards,
    Rosemary.

Deanna, I am new here and sure hope my message gets to you. Please consider finding a LLMD, Lyme Literate Medical Doctor and have your Lyme test done via Igenex Lab. Your symptomology is screaming LYME! I am by no means a doctor but have been through the crazy Lyme roller coaster over 12 years. The testing is extremely unreliable, the medical professionals have been misinformed by the CDC and IDSA. There is a covert effort to keep the true facts regarding Lyme quiet. I can offer a written explanation with cited studies and facts to back my claims. I have no desire to be correct and you in fact do have this because it is not something I would want any person to endure the devastation it has the potential to do to ones life. This is an emerging epidemic on a larger scale than Aids, West Nile combined and too important for me to not at least tell you all these things. I risk my personal reputation to do the right decent thing. The link below is the summary of the paper I mentioned with link to full paper with cited sources of studies etc. , for backing up the statements with explanations why this cover up exists. http://lyme.kaiserpapers.org/20-reasons-why-lyme-disease-is-undiagnosed-summary.html

This is not a boring read and I guaranty you will be amazed what is happening . I can say from my own experience with skin issues just like you describe, identical in fact, that what helped mine is head and shoulders shampoo in the blue bottle with selenium sulfide in it used as a body wash daily, a mixture of ACV and hydrogen peroxide equal parts and a little water applied daily for 15 minutes and then gentle use of a buff puff all over and then rinsed off. Daily use of Oxy pads salicylic acid. This regime followed takes some time to clear these up but once started no new spots have appeared for me. I do still have the dark but scaling is diminished and dark fading. I get white spots too where the pigment is lost. There is a fungal component to this and ketoconazole 2% shampoo may need to be used as an alternating wash for a few weeks now and then.

I have suffered 12 years with this and this regime is the only thing that has helped even though slow as the dickens. But this will be my first summer I will be able to wear shorts and sleeveless top with out total embarrassment. I was told it was all sorts of things same as your self, scabies and all right down to the cancer. I am a registered nurse and am telling you what my years of research found that worked for me and not saying it will for anyone else so please don't take as medical advice, just my shared experiences :) I also drink two tall glasses of water with a lemon juice daily to help alkalinize, many pathogens don't like it so helps them from making themselves comfortable in the body. I wish you all the best and answers come for you to heal. Vicki
