I was having trouble with a kidney stone and did the lemon juice with EVOO during the day, the 1/2t baking soda at night, the Chanca Piedra, you name it. I was able to get the pain to go away, but never passed a single grain of sand. I would do fine until I let up and/or allowed myself to get dehydrated. I really wanted to just pass the thing like so many others on this site did. I kept reading through the comments and thought I would give the Vitamin thing a try. What caught my attention is I heard before that kidney stones are not caused by too much calcium, they are actually caused by not enough calcium. That your body is actually taking the calcium out of your bones! That is why it is forming the stones. So when the other reviewer mentioned that and about Adelle Davis, I immediately bought her book. Well, you don't have to go out and buy the book. Even though it is a handy reference tool. All I did was take 2,000mg a day of Calcium Lactate, and 400mg-800mg a day of magnesium glycinate and other forms like citrate, and 50mg of P5P (A special type of B vitamin) 3X a day and I haven't had to do anything else. I literally was dehydrated the whole month of October as I was working so much moving and selling my house and I never had even one small twinge of pain. Granted, I never did "pass" anything. I guess I could work on that, but there is no more pain all month long. And no need for daily lemon juice, orange juice, apple juice, baking soda, stone breaker, chanca piedra, Nux Vomica, or special kidney stone drops. Just taking these vitamins everyday was all I needed to stay out of pain. Even though I do recommend stay hydrated! LOL.
Be well!
