I honestly had no clue that I had herpes. I didn't have any major outbreaks, maybe tingling but nothing serious enough to think I had herpes. I was absolutely shocked when I found out I had it.

I was reading online that Olive Leaf Extract was good for fighting herpes so I started taking it. After I started taking it I actually starting having more issues with my herpes. I read online that people usually get more but less severe outbreaks when they take Olive Leaf Extract b/c the herpes is fighting the medicine. It was annoying but I knew it must be effective. It was mainly a bump here or there before my period started, and not every month. It wasn't severe, just annoying b/c I didn't have any issues prior to taking Olive Leaf.

I started to combine Oil of Oregano with the Olive Leaf Extract and the combo worked really well together. I take the pill form in both. I stopped taking both about two months ago and I haven't had any issues with my herpes and I feel good. I'm going to take an ionic foot detox to see how that works also.

I have had genital herpes for 18 years. I have never used anything that worked faster and more effectively than coconut oil.

I asked myself what brought about the choices to contract this virus and what was it teaching me. The secondary gains were surprising and as I took responsibility for my emotional, mental, physical and sexual wellbeing, the symptoms reduced to one or two per year. Now when I have a short attack of 3 or 4 days I take stock and review my thoughts and feelings and let my body do the rest.

Hello, I was soooo happy with my results, I just had to tell someone!!! I was diagnosed with Herpes in November 2012, and after using Hydrogen Peroxide for about a month I was retested and it was gone!!!! According to the test the value has to be below 0.90 to be negative, and my original value was 41.3, and now it's less than 0. 90 and stating negative results!!!

I've actually worked for a pharmaceutical company before and never trusted the drugs because I got to see what was actually in them. It's really sad you can't depend on the medical community to help heal the sick, but they are all about $. I plan to spread the word as much as possible.

The way I used hydrogen peroxide was made a 3% solution from a 35% solution (1 1/3 cups to a gallon of distilled water) I'm a chemist so it was easy for me to do the conversions then I measured it using cups to make it easier for everyone.

Hello Folks, I've been coming to this forum for awhile, usually after I get a breakout of GH and I've tried several of the methods here with some success so I thought I would share my experience. I get breakouts 2 or 3 times a year and here is what I've found helps the most. First off I can not stress the importance of a healthy diet (No sugar!!! ) the next most important thing is Sleep make sure you get lots of it. When I get any signs of outbreaks I immediately apply 70% Rubbing alchol to the area a few times a day, take massive doses of Oil of Oreganol 20 drops under the tongue 3x per day and if I catch it fast enough and watch my diet and sleep well I can usually avoid an outbreak altogether. If it does outbreak well then I keep applying rubbing alchol and 3% hydrogen peroxide throught the first several days 4 to 5x per day with a cotton swab and it usually dries up pretty quick and reduces the healing time. It doesn't always work but it works more often then not. Good luck and I encourage others to keep posting as well as follow ups to what happens to you after treatments! If we team up we can make a difference together.

I tried ACV and for the first few days it did help with some relief of swelling and itching but aft 4 days now the area is irratated and dried out and almost burnt and the lesions are still as they would be normally at this phase so I would say AVC helps but is not anything outstanding or great. As a matter of fact I think it sort of made things a little worse, so use carefully.

I've been alkalizing with ACV and baking soda for at least 5 months and in that time have had outbreaks of herpes almost reduced to zero (I think just one outbreak in the whole time). Before that I was having outbreaks on the least exertion every few weeks. Twice a day I take 2 dessertspoons of ACV in water with baking soda to neutralize as per Ted's instructions.

Take 3 to 4 drops in a shot glass of hot water, then immediately chase it with another shot glass of coconut milk. This will pretty much end the bad taste issue.

I have tried all sorts of things that were recommended on this site, but nothing helped.

When I was taking Vitamin supplements and L-lysin the ob's definitely came les frequently, but unfortuntaley they didn´t vanish and I also didn´t want to take so many tbls all the time because it was expensive and anoying.

This didn't rid me of my gh problem though and the ob's kept coming, so I decided to try DMSO and 3% hydrogen peroxide applied to my lower spine right down to the of the spine between the butt cheeks. I wrapped it with cling wrap and left it for an hour.

This was several weeks ago and I have to say I have not used the silver cream since, because I have not had a single ob since then.

I will give some more time and will then get a blood test to see if the virus is still tracable in my blood. If you want to try the cream, it is silvadene or silver sulfadiazine creme 1% (used for topical burns).

So as far as a "Cure" what do you guys think about Oxygenating or using the One Minute Miracle... It seems to make sense... also that 35% Hydrogen Peroxide will kill the virus for good after 2 to 3 months of taking this....

Hi, I have been having Obs for nearly a year and have the occasional outbreak 4 times a year, its normally a small lump that appears somewhere different on my labia, it stings and itches. It normally appears after my period and when I am stressed and run down. I have had cold sores in the past so don't know if I had infected myself or if it came from my ex partner.

The treatment I first used when I first saw it and it works a treat. C------ cold sore patches, u can buy it from Priceline or your chemist. They are for your cold sores that appear on your lips and they are invisible. Its harder to peel of the sticky patch so u need patience and use a mirror, u will end up throwing away a few that get squashed.

Its all worth it cover the ob with the clear patch during day night after washing your Vagina and keeping it dry and clean. My doctor said it was a great idea because it keeps it dry and stops it from contaminating another part of your Labia and its invisible, although will come off with lots of moisture so night time is best when you are sleeping.

I also was prescribed Valtrex and together with the patch it took 7 days to completely clear up, with one tablet a day and a healthy diet and try rest as much as possible.

If you cannot buy the patches, straight away because you are busy with working fulltime kids ect, then use either diluted tea tree oil, or Aloe Vera plant or Banana skin to sooth the pain, garlic also sterilizes it but it stings.

I am yet to try Acetone, but the cold sore patches are great because they work and stops the ob from spreading.

I was diagnosed with HSV1 (genital) about 2 years ago, I followed this treatment during my first set of symptoms. I didnt have another breakout for 6 months, I followed the same procedure and havent had another breakout since. Here is what I did:

Buy yourself a bottle of Oil of Oregano (I get mine at GNC store, about $15/bottle)

Topical treatment: Mix 1 tbsp olive oil with 10 drops oil of oregano, using a cleam cotton swab use the oil mixture to treat areas with sores twice daily until they heal. (it burns like hell for about 5 minutes.. I use the oil of oregano straight without diluting it, but that's just me)

Oral Treatment: take 2 drops of straight oil of oregano twice a day orally, (tastes bad.. ) do this for atleast 6 weeks for the first time you use it.

Ongoing treatment: at the first signs of a breakout (itchy, pain, tingling etc) use the oil of orgeno topically, it should stop the outbreak from forming, take the oil orally if you think you are getting a breakout. The oil can also be rubbed into the skin at the base of the spine where the virus is believed to hybernate.

This treatment has been successful for myself (well over a year with no breakouts) and also my boyfriend. It speeds up the healing time of a current outbreak and can help prevent future ones.

Just a thought for everyone using hydrogen peroxide (3% liquid) on HSV2 outbreaks.

The acne cream, benzoyl peroxide, is sold at most pharmacies. It is a thick cream and is sold in 5% and 10% concentrations. Maybe it would be easier to use for this purpose.

It will bleach your clothes and probably hair though... So wear white undies and be prepared to go orange or blonde! Who cares if it penetrates better though, right?

I found that Chlorehexidine solution when applied to the lesion will heal it in 2 days.

Hello, February 4th, of this year, I contracted genital herpes. As soon as I felt a sore, I applied garlic and ACV. It was to no avail. Now I am applying Vitamin E (d) and Oil of Oregano, and finally! The sores are clearing up. I am wondering if anyone knows if this could possibly be the first and last time I see sores. Its a horrific experience. I'm praying its the last time. I am on a generic form of Valtrex as well. I am going to continue taking the Oil of Oregano by mouth daily and apply it topically. The sores are clearing up. Does anyone know if the OO will really cure this awful virus?

My MD recommended 1500 mg of L-Lysine daily and 3000 per day during an outbreak of GH. I find taking it daily helps prevent outbreaks. I'm going to try the ACV on the blisters.

Yes for iodine.

I eat a diet high in lysine but was under a lot of stress recently and had a breakout that lasted for, and continued to get worse, for two months. After feeling like there'd be no end in sight, I decided to spread some of my Lugol's (5%) iodine on my lower back (where the virus lives) and also around my genitals, after cleaning the area first with hydrogen peroxide.

The situation was much improved the next morning, so I repeated the procedure.

May not be a cure all but Acyclovir (two rounds) hadn't helped at all and this did. I'd say if you have Lugol's, try it as part of your arsenol, but I wasn't cured overnight, just much relieved and starting to see signs of remission.

Also, I previously got some relief from the "acetone applied to lesions with a q-tip" idea (not cured or completely cleared up though) and am considering/ researching the BHT path for a more permanent cure. I haven't had a lot of luck with lysine supplementation in the past, but I am a meat and dairy eater who used to take additional lysine regulalry and didn't get long lasting breakouts like this recent one, so I will be ordering more of that too.

Also, I'd stopped my two-per-day multi-vitamin for a few months when this happened, and had planned to stop taking it altogether, opting for better, whole food based nutrition with additional vitamin C supplementation instead, but now I'm rethinking that. It's a very good quality multi that is expensive ($18 per month) and contains high quality, well researched vitamins and minerals. Wish I could mention the name but I never had breakouts that lasted more than a few days while taking it.

As for the glycerine, I'm not sure if that does anything. I've used it without any noticeable difference.

@Think2 with the info that you gave, im assuming you did the cleanse through djheuty.. If so could you give any feedback about tests you may have done afterwards.. im really into healing my body and erradicating over simply minimizing symptoms.

Hello I have been reading on all the sites about this herpes treatment till now this is the more convincing site I see out here the other are mostly fake responds, but I notice that most ppl have found a cure or they got something that did stop the outbreaks, but are waiting to get cured complete. Now for me just go get tested so see if your cured already or check what kinda results would come out, why wait so long. Everybody is waiting to drink more of the medications to be sure, maybe you dont have to wait so long. Go get tested and let us know what the results be. And also ppl post some information about some cure and you never see them or hear from them again so whats up with that?

After two weeks of taking Oil of Oregano P73, ACV and Olive Leaf Extract, my Blood Pressure measured in today at 92/60. After doing some more research, all three of these things are known to lower BP, so please be careful.

Mix it 50/50. Apply it twice a day to the affected area. It does NOT hurt. After one day, the lesions look much fainter.

This is an update from Michele in Waterbury. After taking BHT daily for three years, which was successfully managing my Genital Herpes outbreaks, I started having digestive problems. Constant gas, discomfort, bloating, intolerence of wheat and hemorrhoids. I read on this site that if you have hemorrhoids, you have a yeast infection in your gut. I am wondering if the daily dosing of BHT caused an im-balance in my gut and that now I have an overpopulation of yeast in my gut. I had to stop the BHT, and am treating the gut yeast infection with raw garlic and pre-biotics. I feel much better, but I can see that it will take some time to get back to normal. If I stop the raw garlic, the symptoms return. Since BHT is a preservative that kills bacteria, I think it killed off the good bacteria in my gut. Anyone else having gut problems?

I tried this herb called hypericum mysorense, and within 3 months my symptoms completely dissapeared. I have had no outbreaks since then, and I looked at the product labeling (Hepericum), and all its components were a combination of various herbs and plant products.

I eat coconut oil every day and gag each time I swallow it because it's hard to swallow oil but you can use it in your cooking, put it in a smoothy.... There are so many other ways to ingest it other than eating it straight from the spoon. Coconut oil has so many other healing properties.... Helps with metabolism, insulin, digestion... I use it on my skin and in my hair. You have to make sure you by the unrefined pure organic virgin coconut oil otherwise it won't work. :)
