THE ASTHMA/COPD CURE

I have asthma/COPD, after many years of suffering with no end in sight(not to mention the $ on medical appointments, prescriptions and ER visits), I read previous posts promising ACV (RAW/UNFILTERED ORGANIC APPLE CIDER VINEGAR INCLUDING THE MOTHER) and change of diet (no processed food/no dairy products)as a cure.

I started by taking 2 tsp twice a day, and completely changing my diet. I have not felt the need to taken any prescriptions since, except when I challenge my diet and eat so little as 2 oreo cookies or even 3 bites of ice cream. And instead of my rescue inhaler I take 2 Tbs *my shots.

*my shots

2 TBS acv

2 cloves fresh garlic

2 lg pieces fresh ginger

2 lemons

2 Tbs local raw honey (or best MANUKA HONEY)

Actually very good for covid as well - the quinine works like a hydroxychloroquine substitute (the "quin" at the end refers to the quinine). I have added organic lemon pulp to the grapefruit - and the recipe I followed indicated you should not lift the lid for a few hours after the boiling process. I think the suggestion to freeze in cubes is excellent as you can just thaw out a small amount that way. My grandma called this grapefruit bitters and it's a tried and true remedy for all kinds of cold and flu symptoms.

Insomnia? Sounds like a magnesium deficiency. Do twice the recommended daily allowance, and you should see the results quickly. If diarrhea occurs, back it off to a normal daily dose for your weight.

ORH, I certainly hope the information helps. I found it interesting that his CHF seemed to be linked to an undiagnosed hypothyroid issue and that was the key to resolving it. Apparently, his thyroid blood tests appeared in the "normal" range...but as we know a lot of these lab tests are not worth the paper they are printed on. Magnesium is a great example...because your body will pull magnesium from organs to regulate blood levels the blood tests never show a deficiency even when a severe one exists. The Nature-Throid web site has a search engine to find Doctors near you that prescribe it.

Carolyn, my DH has copd & has been on oxygen for some time now. When he inhales the H2O2 from the mist bottle it makes his shortness of breath worse. He takes blackstrap molasses daily along with vit D3 & C and also uses NAC. He always feels better after taking these (we get powders that he can put in water or juice, so easy to take). This is a progressive disease, but careful management can help you live longer and avoid complications.

Do what you must to manage this. Have you looked into pulmonary rehab? It's covered by most insurance and they teach you various exercises to keep you strong, ways to perform various activities to minimize shortness of breath, a lot about various medications and strategies for taking them, when to call the dr and when to deal with it yourself.

A good support system is really important. Try to have someone with you for all appointments, it takes 2 sets of ears to hear and remember. Good Luck.

Thank you for sharing this! I love plantain but have never tried it for lung issues.

I admire your perseverance. Often when someone says, "It didn't work for me" they only tried it for a short time. Here it took nearly a month of faithful use for it to help you.

I will definitely tuck this away for future use!

Colloidal Silver Effective for COPD

You can purchase a "Cool Mist" Mister at Walmart for about $36. Do not get one with a filter. 10PPM CS is good enough as one teaspoon contains about 100 trillion particulates of silver bonded onto the oxygen molecule. So not to waste a gob of money, just put a few oz. of CS in mister, and turn on full blast. Place your mouth and nose as close to the mist coming out and breathe in. At first, you will cough so take shallow breaths and increase till your coughing quits. Do this for maybe two minutes at a time and several times daily. The trick is to finally be able to take in the largest breath you have ever taken as it opens the back of your lungs and permeates where it's really needed.

Blowing up balloons gently at first is great also. You will fail at first but keep trying...Good luck

Take Vit-C with MSM for best results as they work synergistically.

Interested in hearing theories on this. Ted maintains that Dmso has the potential to dissolve tar in the lungs. Recent studies with lab rats have found that using a retin A substance injected into the rats allowed them to regenerate new alveoli and cured them of induced emphysema. Since we know that dmso penetrates the skin directly, what might be the potential of mixing 2% retin A (tretinoin) into a 50% dmso gel and using this transdermally on the chest. Any thoughts on this?

Hydrogen Peroxide
Posted by Geoffrey Terry (Adelaide) on 03/16/2017

Hi Pamela. Sorry to hear that you have run into problems with using H202. I suspect though, that you could be using the wrong kind of Peroxide. You mentioned that you purchased 3% peroxide called Gold Cross which sounds like a chemist/pharmacy bought product to me which is the wrong king.

The pharmacy bought product will contain what is called stabilizers, added chemicals! These you do not need. The Peroxide that you should be using is 35% food grade with no stabilizers and this you will dilute down to 3% and then you can inhale or drink in this form. Do not use in the 35% form, always dilute. In Australia there are many sites online that you can buy the 35% food grade H202, so search out one of these and when you receive your bottle keep it in the freezer to retain the potency. This should not burn your throat, a bleach type taste is normal, and you certainly will notice changes in your condition. So keep the gold cross for other purposes. All the best.

WARNING!

I have copd and I kept reading of h2o2 inhulation therapy. I started Bill Munro's regime, but not faithfully. One weekend I decided to go at it aggressively. I did the nasal spray in the throat, plus I added it to my nebulizer. A little works, so A LOT should really do it, right ? I did not measure it, I just added h202 straight. Did not help my breathing because I had loosened whatever is in my lungs, and blocked my air. My husband had to call 911. My O2 was in the 50's and I blacked out. Had to be on by-pap for 2 days.

I am not telling anyone not to do the inhulation, I am saying do not try to over do it for faster results!! I may even try it again, but follow the instructions that were so clearly given.

I also tried inhaling it & had a hard time breathing. That I did dilute to 3%. Now I am thinking of nebulizing. I just got a machine. Can you give me any advice? THANKS

definitely 3 %. I don't feel that this message is clear enough to readers, so I want to say for all readers - 35% H2O2 will burn a hole in your skin - that means it will perforate your throat, larynx and lungs. NEVER TOUCH 35% HYDROGEN PEROXIDE. Wear gloves when mixing it with distilled water - one part H2O2 to 11 parts distilled water.

DAVID, ORH here, and I too spoke with Bill Munro many years ago. I had e mailed him and he called me. What a delightful gentleman. I moved from his hydrogen peroxide delivery system to a nebulizer a few years ago. Thought I was pretty savvy, but this video sent me to school about increasing the effectiveness with Vit C. This is one of the most informative sessions I have ever watched in my long life. I was aware that most women's breast cancer is due to the toxins in their teeth and gums, but did not realize that this is also a root cause of heart problems. This doctor advocates using a dental pick containing hydrogen peroxide as a cheap and natural way to address these problems. Here's the article.

Me, I'm going to jump on this with both feet. Not hearsay, but two doctors discussing how to help avoid heart disease and cancer. ==ORH==

A few suggestions for COPD in response to Patti's post from 1/18/2014 regarding DMSO and Colloidal Silver

  • MSM is made form DMSO, MSM taken with vit C build new cells in the body, should be taken every 12 hours to get even cell growth, add chicken collagen 2 for elastin, NAC, N-Acetyl Cysteine to help rebuild lungs.
  • VIT C -1000 mg
  • MSM -1000mg
  • NAC -600mg
  • chicken collagen 2, these items can be purchased from vitacost.com

chicken collagen 2 sold as hyaluronic acid item #nsi 3002115 you may also consider taking magnesium up to 1000mg per day, magnesium is very important most people are deficient, but too much can make you run for a bathroom,

The colloidal silver is good, it kills pathogens.

Ref: COPD - 74 years old

I started drinking H/P - H202 just over one week ago so far I feel good with no problems or side effects, I bring up copious amount of mucus, and even though I need oxygen at times I cope well without it so far.

I must point out, never take Hydrogen Peroxide at full strength of 35% - always dilute. In my case, I use 200ml distilled water to 3 drops 35% 3 times a day and increase as per protocol.

Please read as much as you can on Hydrogen Peroxide before you start taking it scroll down the latest post and you find the protocol of use.

Hydrogen Peroxide

Answer To Bharat From Faridabad. Hi from New Zealand. My father, who is 84 and has had emphysema for over 20 years, has been using some drops that I got for him from a large online supplement supplier in America. I can't say the name of the product on this site, but if you Google "Natural Microdose DNA" you will find info about the product. Dad uses ONE drop FOUR times a day. It isn't very expensive to buy. I think it works by thinning the mucus. Dad has been using it for about six weeks, and it's the first of the MANY "natural" remedies that we've tried that's helped him. Unfortunately he's still using all his puffers at this stage, but the drops have made a huge difference in his comfort level. He is able to go for walks outside and do light chores around the house, which he hasn't been able to do for ages. A big difference is in how long it takes him to recover from breathless episodes. Now, he gets his breath back almost immediately, instead of spending five minutes gasping for air. He's really happy about that!! He has had a peak flow meter for several years now and it has always been around 160 to 170 maximum, but now it averages about 190 and several times has been over 200, which has never happened before. So, while this hasn't been the miracle cure that I have been looking for, it has made a BIG difference to Dad's quality of life, and,at the moment, he is progressing instead of getting worse. Hopefully after he has been using the drops for several months he'll have made further progress. The only negative comment I have to make about the product is that it"s really difficult to get the drops out of the bottle - I have to put it in another bottle for Dad to use. Later on I'm also going to get him some black elderberry (there's an interesting post on here about that), but for now we're seeing how much he improves by using the drops alone. Kind Regards, Vicki.

Yerba Sante

I would consider looking at yerba santa which is an herb that can help with lungs- it helps open up the bronchials, an effective remedy for allergies and asthma and can get rid of phlegm. I met a man over the weekend that said yerba santa actually saved his life. He himself is an herbalist and is quite knowledgeable in that area. I know a very high quality company that has herbal tinctures. It is called herbpharm which if you google it you can probably find it. I always look for the highest quality sources of whatever I am looking for so if someone recommends a company they are familiar with and know of the source and quality, I will take the advice.

I just googled it and apparently vitaminshoppe carries it which is a national chain so perhaps there's one by you. I find they are very reasonably priced and less than health food stores. Also, I have bought their brand of various items as the woman in our store is extremely knowledgeable and has told me that their brands are made by very high sources- some by well-known very expensive companies.

Anyway, I just thought I'd pass this info on. Be hopeful and work towards living...
The best to you, Lisa

Someone asked about doses and how to administer Hydrogen Peroxide for COPD. I can only tell about my experience and cannot make any recommendations to anyone else. I use it primarily in am Sleep Apnea mask [PAP]. I use a solution strength of about 20%. That is 1/4 cup H2O2 to 1 cup of Distilled water. I breath it all night and if my lungs feel a little irritated I add another half cup water to make it about 15%.

I also use my nebulizer one or two times a day and there I use a 50% strength for about 3 min.

I believe I am killing all the bacteria, mold and fungus in my lungs as I don't have any more coughing or mucus since the first day I tried H2O2.

My Pulmonologist, Cardiologist, and my Gen Practitioner are all amazed at my improvement. None of them have ever heard of inhaling H2O2 before.

Correction:

Back on 6/23/09 I made a careless mistake by stating:

"5) acetyl L-carnitine 1000 mg 3x/day has been proven to loosen mucous secretions and helps to promote their elimination".

Acetyl L-carnitine is useful for treating peripheral neuropathy and not COPD. I meant to say "N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) 1000 mg 3x/day has been proven to loosen mucous secretions and helps to promote their elimination (an amino acid available in health food stores)".

I think I became careless because I take them both and was needing to reorder ALC, the former nutrient, so it was 'on my mind'. There is a class of macrolide antibiotics (which includes erythromycin and azithromycin) that have immuno-modulating effects in very small dosages of only 250 mg every other day, requiring a long term renewable prescription from an MD.

There are considerable medical studies that indicate macrolides reduce inflammatory cytokines, and biofilm formation which make pathogenic bacteria more resistant to eradication by antibiotics and other means. Nebulized DMSO 30% to 50% solution has anti-biofilm and anti-bacterial activity, even against most multiple-drug-resistant-bacteria like pseudomonas a. And acinetobacter b. Gaylord Chemical in Slidell, LA published a report indicating that DMSO was non-toxic by either oral, inhalation, or dermal administration, and DMSO is completely biodegradable. The results of extended inhalation toxicity studies on rats exposed to saturated vapors of DMSO showed no statistical difference from rats in a control group, who did not breathe DMSO. They do not sell DMSO to the public. Odorless garlic preparations containing allicin have anti-quorum sensing activity that also diminish biofilm formation. There are various mucolytic enzyme formulas that may also be helpful. Some people claim that they have had great benefit from taking colloidal silver both orally and by inhalation. So far, there no medical studies that support this. Do your own research.

So far, the medical profession only supports the use of DMSO for treatment interstitial cystitis (a very painful bladder disorder that doesn't respond to anything else). Do your own research.

Food grade hydrogen peroxide has been claimed by many to have helped to reduce symptoms of COPD and other lung problems like bronchitis. Do your own research.

High doses of vitamin C (1000 to 2000 mg/3x day have increased the resistance to infections and allergens. (Linus Pauling took 20, 000 mg/d for decades and lived to 92).

Straight niacin, which causes transient but temporary flushing, is a potent natural capillary vasodilator that can be very beneficial for it's detoxifying properties. Niacin helps remove "capillary sludge" and increases blood flow to the entire body. Don't be afraid of the flushing when you start.

Taking a cool shower will provide quick relief if needed. It only lasts 15-20 minutes, and as you continue taking niacin your body develops a tolerance to the flushing in part due to your capillaries remaining relatively more dilated throughout the day.

Start with small doses and work up to the higher doses gradually. Straight niacin is far more beneficial than non-flush niacin for many disorders like COPD.

re: COPD & Lung Cancer and virgin coconut oil -- I found almost immediate relief from thick mucous taking VCO. I started out with 1 T. with each meal, sometimes in tea or room temp juice. It thins the mucous making it easy to cough up. I also drink 2 quarts of water in addition to the VCO. The water alone did not help. My nasal passages are both open for the first time in years and breathing is much easier. VCO makes the skin lovely.

Colloidal Silver, Hydrogen Peroxide
Posted by Art (California) on 02/03/2021 2787 posts

Hi Lorie,

Oral colloidal silver (AgNPs) are not likely to get any useful amount of AgNPs into the lungs. The only way I have managed to have an impact on the lungs with AgNPs is via inhalation of AgNPs using a cold process small room vaporizer/humidifier. A nebulizer will work, but it is slower because of smaller delivery volume than the cold process vaporizer/humidifier.

A word of caution though, you cannot use the hydrogen peroxide (HP) at the same time as AgNPs because the HP will destroy real colloidal silver in seconds.

For myself, if I was going to try and use both, I might experiment on myself by alternating a week of HP inhalation and a week of AgNPs. If I was going to do this everyday to myself, I would limit my AgNP dose to twice a day for the first week and then once a day after the first week. After the second week I might switch to one application every other day.

If after a month or so I determined improvement when using one substance over the other, I might consider switching to the better substance only, but that's just how I look at it.

I will soon be writing a post about COPD which will offer another supplement worth considering. Keep an eye out for that!

You should always check with your doctor or professional health care provider to make sure that such use of HP and AgNPs is safe for you.

I asked if she would like to try something, she agreed and I gifted her a baggy of apple cider vinegar capsules, to take 3,3 times a day, within 10 days, she was up and out of bed, hardly on the oxygen concentrator or nebulizer, she was much improved and never complained about the ACV, which I credited to Earth Clinic and told her too, she knows and said she'd tell her daughter where to look and what to get for her.

May I suggest, when performing a breathing treatment, H2O2, CS, DMSO, whatever, exhale as deeply as possible, inhale as deeply as possible and hold up to 10 seconds. As we repeat the process, we begin to breath in deeper and deeper, getting our chosen solution to the bottom of our lungs. Normal breathing only goes down into our lungs about 20% - 30% of their capacity.

So....I am using DMSO and colloidal silver twice a day in my nebulizer. I mix 3cc of DMSO, 7CC COLLOIDOL SIVER AND 3cc. Purified water. I put 2cc of this mix in the nebulizer twice day as previously stated. I cough up yellow stuff many times a day, which I believe is residue from previous lung infections. I now have hope for a better quality of life for many years. I am stronger than I was a week before starting this treatment. I am also going to be starting MSM soon for asthma and allergies And various aches and pains.

If you are having chemical sensitivity, you are most likely deficient in magnesium, zinc, selenium. and molybdenum. It is best to take these in angstrom form - liquid ionic minerals. I went to an oriental medicine doctor. I took these minerals twice per day, 20 minutes apart. I took magnesium and molybdenum every day. I alternated selenium and zinc. For 2 weeks I took Mg, Selenium, Moly, then Mg, Moly, and zinc. It cleared up all chemical sensitivity. It took a year. I also took Jergon Sacha and a liver cleanse to clear out a viral infection that was causing the drain on minerals. I hope this helps.

Please don't ingest store-bought 3% H202; do read about 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide at Dr David G Williams website (google, "The Many Benefits of Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide," find the Williams entry, which offers instructions on its use.

I had TB in service (WW2), didn't know it, self-cured it (we're giants at 19) but was a shallow breather. In 1984 I was showed lung scars on my chest X-ray and finally knew why I had difficulty breathing.

Recently my breathing worsened, limited me to four hours sleep a night. Recalling that one sister died of IFP, one of emphysema, I looked at myself at 87.

Hoping for a longer life, I'd followed an FG H202 regimen for four years -- high dosages for a month, then 3 drops a day in spring water and no colds in that time. Now deep breathing was impossible, so I upped my FG H202 intake to 9 drops (3 X3) a day.

There was improvement. Hardly dramatic, yet I was grateful for it. Now I'm seeking a Homeopath who offers the IV H202 treatment. Dr Williams says it really works on emphysema-- we'll see about that.

The government calls me a death-panel candidate, but I call them names, too. And yes, my COPD worries don't compare to those of others in this forum, but I had to offer this FG H202 advice anyway. I ask you to help yourselves. Read on Dr Williams' website -- I found it as I found Earth Clinic. By happy chance.

Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalation Method

For COPD, I put 1/4 cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide in 1/2 gallon of distilled water in my vaporizor and inhale through the mouth 10 times twice a day and a few times through the nose also. I was in pretty bad shape a few months ago but now I'm able to do so much more without losing my ability to breath.

For months I also took 1/4 t. of celery seed (a natural diaretic), tea made with 1/4 t. Lobelia, 1 t. of Mullein and 1 t. Hyssop twice a day.

I also started taking MSM and cayenne pepper, which I still do. I don't need the tea anymore. I have to limit my intake of dairy and mold and pollen is still a challenge, but being 90% better is great.

Serrapeptase, Breathing

For COPD, I wanted to mention a couple of other possibly useful aids: one is serrapeptase, which is a supplement that dissolves fibrotic lesions in the body. Some folks with copd'ers are breathing more easily since using that. Be careful if you tend to bleed easily, though, or are taking a blood thinner.

The other idea is to find a breathing technique that works for you. Life Lift and Bodyflex are two funny-looking ones that can help a lot. Fine for most people, unless you have high blood pressure or glaucoma, (or are pregnant, which I'm thinking doesn't apply to you). I've seen a demo of the bodyflex breath on youtube before. The life lift version is slower and gentler (the bodyflex founder learned it from the life lift lady, actually. )

Basically, you gently blow all the air out of your lungs through your mouth, as if blowing through a tube... A martial arts article explained that there are multiple benefits to doing it this way, btw... Then a big inhale through the nose (smile to open up your nostrils to their widest), hold a second or three, then blast the air out, and pop your lips as you say "Paaaaaaaah. " It isn't vocalized, it's just air. Then you hold your breath and suck in your gut as if rolling up your abs. In fact, there is a yoga move like this. Hold your breath. With practice, you will feel the suction as you do it, and when you release the air and hear a sucky sound. Hold as long as you feel comfortable holding your breath, but you don't need to go longer than a count of eight or so, and repeat. Fifteen minutes a day should dramatically help oxygenation and lung flexibility. If you have contraindications for that sort of breathing, then incorporating any gentler, intentional breathing exercises into your day should be a must on your daily to-do list.

For those with C.O.P.D. & other respiratory ailments, please check research on 'natural microdose DNA' which is not a product name but a natural substance with research & use for humans & also in the veterinary fields. The price for the product is very reasonable for its effectiveness & is available to all as it is not a drug.

Hydrogen Peroxide

Sorry, I cannot answer satisfactorily to your quesstion, because I am not at all familiar with the test you are talking about. But I did some quick searches and I have a few thoughts I would like to share with you.

First, you did not explained how the oxygen was taken externally. Was is peroxyde? And how? To get back to my previous post about dosages. Consider that 18 drops of FG h2o2 in a glass of water is not the same for a man of 40Kg as for a man of 80Kg or 120Kg. I suspect that your father is very weak and has digestion problems. So, maybe the 18 drops is even more demanding because of his weakness. H2O2 will create detox symptoms. So it is good to have something to improve the elimination of the liberated toxins. Those "toxins" are not from the h2o2 but from the body trying to get rid of them by being helped with the h2o2.

So, it might be better that food are any supplements be taken in smaller portions but more often. Something that might help greatly is the taking of pro-biotics on a daily basis. The more I read about pro-biotic bacteria for the colon the more I thing it is a vital element in helping in the recovery to any illness.

If you read EC pages on COPD and do a search on the web you will find that many have been helped by DMSO, and MSM. First, DMSO is very closed chemically to MSM. MSM can be obtained naturally from food. But can be easily destroyed by processing foods. MSM is better utilized by the body if taken with glucosamine sulfate and the chondroitin sulfate. MSM is a compound with sulfur as so are the two other sulfates. It has been shown that magnesium and magnesium sulfate can help asthma. Here we go again with a sulfate.

There is an easy and cheap way to get magnesium and sulfur in the form of sulfate. It is with Epsom salt (Magnesium sulfate). It is cheap and easy to buy in North America. I don't know about your part of the country. Two ways I know how to benefit from Epsom Salt (ES). Internally and from baths. Internally, a pinched of ES with meals or beverages. Coincidentally, a bath of ES can be enhanced and alkalizing with some h2o2. Here is a good link about such baths http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1614147#i

Magnesium will also help the liver and kidneys in digesting proteins.

So, IMO you should have a multi-facet approach. Improvement of digestion, improvement of nutrition. Smaller portion but more frequent. Supplementation of MSM and or magnesium sulfate. Alkalizing baths. So much can be said about alkalizing.

I could have put a lot more in the form of supporting links and text extracts that would better help what I said above. Health can be restored but it will take time. A simple advice-Stop doing what makes us sick and start what makes us healthy.

Good luck, Alain
