When using hydrogen peroxide, please make sure to be eating a diet high in anti-oxidant foods. (You can check what's called the ORAC value of foods on the internet. Also vitamin E, C, and beta-carotene are high in antioxidants. My favorite edible antioxidant are Goji berries--very high ORAC value. ) Oxygen can be wonderful medicine, but too much of it can also be deadly--especially at the cellular level. Hydrogen peroxide is H2O2, whereas water is H2O. The theory is that the extra O separates from the hydrogen peroxide molecule and oxidizes the yeast killing it. But H2O2 simultaneously interacts with our tissues. When that extra Oxygen atom spins off of the hydrogen peroxide, it becomes what we call a free radical and can damage our tissue. That is why it is so important to follow strict guidelines in using it. The book The One Minute Cure by Cavanaugh has a very conservative dosing schedule which I can recommend. Btw, I am an acupuncturist and homeopath, and have used all of the various remedies recommended on this site with my patients for years. I basically sytematically rotate remedies until I find the one that works for that particular patient. My conclusion is that this has as much to do with the species of Candida, as with the particular patient's gut ecosystem. Best wishes to all!
I had suffered from candida for nearly 30 years. As the years went by I have friends who have been on too many antibiotics or had a bad diet and started suffering from it as well. I am overwhelmed at the number of people I meet who have digestive problems now. I started giving my friends a rotating supplement program that I use myself. I struggled with sinus infections for years. Many antibiotics later, I had sinus surgery (they basicly scraped out my sinus membrane to allow a new healthy one to grow back). Unfortunatly, because I had taken so many antibiotics for the issue, fungus had taken hold in my body -this, I did not find out about until several years later. So for two years following my sinus surgery, I experienced a "smell" inside my sinus that smelled like old trash (as I reflect on it, it was a sweet stink much like you would smell from a trash can at the circus or carnival). I was cured of the sinus infections, yet emotionally miserable (I contemplated suicide because I was smelling trash 24 hours a day). I kept going to doctors, even an infectious disease Dr. and they kept putting me on more ANTIBIOTICS!!!
At this time I was also having some hormonal issues so I went to a Dr. that perscribed natural hormones and put me on a wheat and sugar free diet for two months. It worked wonders for my hormones as well as my sinus "stink". However, several years later, the stink came back and I did not have the discipline to follow the diet again. One day, shortly after the "stink" came back I blew my nose and a big BLACK CHUNK of something came out. Luckily I was able to save it in a sterile container that my Dr. had given me at an earlier date. I took it to my Dr. and she had it tested. It took about a month and a half for the specimen to grow. However, the wait was worth it... It was CANDIDA ALBICANS. (Note that it is very difficult to test positive for Candida Albicans because it is rare to get a good sample.. Most people do not just happen to blow a good sample out of their nose like I did! ) Fungus or yeast had been growing in my sinuses because of all the antibiotics I had taken. This makes sence why the wheat and sugar free diet worked.
After the diagnosis of candida, I began nasel washes with probiotics in my nasel wash solution of 2 parts salt to 1 part baking soda (about a quarter to a half teaspoon to a cup of warm water). I also added lavendar essential oil to the baking soda and salt (before adding it to water... I would mix up about a half cup of the b soda and salt and add two drops of Lavendar eo. - it is important to note that you should not use regular table salt... It has anticaking additives, use pickeling salt). I also took extra B vitamines. Lavendar and B3 are great antifungals (see the following links). It is already well described in the literature that colloidal silver nanoparticles are a broad spectrum antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal and to a lesser extent antiparasitic.
The following studies suggest that it is also effective at fighting Candida Albicans and breaking down related biofilms. This can be useful information for people who are plagued by this fungal overgrowth along with other pathogen issues related to candida. Although colloidal silver nanoparticles (AGNP's) are potent in terms of their antipathogenic effects, candida is a tough pathogen to fight and will likely take an extended period of time to fight. Something interesting about AGNP's is that they have shown the ability to overcome bacteria that has become resistant to antibiotics and AGNP's have even shown synergy with some antibiotics. This is something you should discuss with your doctor to see if it is something you can try if you have been diagnosed with candida albicans.

Raw sauerkraut - I'm talking raw, not the pasteurized kind you buy on hot dogs and at supermarkets. Start with a tiny drop of it - like 1/2 teaspoon, even that small and build your way up. A small bit of it cleared up my sinuses that were congested for years. My guess is it has something to do with eliminating yeast. But if I take too much raw sauerkraut, I'll get stuffy (my guess is this is a detox/healing crisis type reaction). So you have to go slow if you find yourself having these types of reactions. Raw Sauerkraut works wonders for sinusitis and thrush because it gets rid of candida.
I am battling my systemic candidiasis now for a month now with H2O2 10 drops of 35%FG in 8 oz of distilled water 2-3 times a day on empty stomach. I've been doing this for a month now. I feel a lot more energy and mind clarity but the yeast infection came back a week after my period was over... When did other people discover that your candida symptoms were gone?
I have noticed many posts on EC where people post symptoms of a mystery illness or a recurring problem that they don't understand. The doctor's blood/urine tests are unable to find anything wrong and so the doctor then decrees that the patient is perfectly healthy and the sufferer is thus not helped. I remember the very same thing occurring in the 1960s and early 1970s. Some friends of mine suffered from strange debilitating pain and lack of energy problems. In those days, doctors arrogantly treated these types of patient problems as mental problems -- recommending anti-depressants and telling these sufferers to see psychiatrists. Now, of course, ME, Fibromylagia and CFS are all recognized physical illnesses.
But the doctor's medical tests are still notoriously poor at recognizing and diagnosing all the various different forms of candida. This diagnosis problem is further compounded and complicated by a plethora of different symptoms caused because of other pathogens -- such as bacteria, viruses, protozoa and even parasites -- which are always associated with candida problems. These days it is also fairly well recognized and even admitted that the medical approach to diagnosing early stage candida problems is still quite inaccurate and inadequate. See this research link.
I think perhaps that a definition of what candida is all about is needed here to help to clarify things. From my own research and experience, candida infections can express themselves in many ways and in many different regions of the human body. You can have oral candida, cutaneous candida, nasal candida (sinusitis, rhinitis), eye candida (conjunctivitis), lung candida, stomach candida, intestinal candida, esophageal candida (esophigitis), uterine candida etc.
But the worst form of candida by far is systemic candida -- where the candida has turned into its most virulent and dangerous fungal form and has moved into your body to infect the blood and organs.
Furthermore, all the other forms of candida mentioned above can just be mere symptoms of the systemic candida itself. I only mention this because so many people are under the great misconception that a candida problem such as oral candida or uterine candida or skin candida are just local topical problems. What people (and doctors) don't realize is that uterine candida or oral candida or skin candida or nasal candida can also be actual symptoms or expressions of systemic candida which is already infecting the blood.
Time and time again I read where people only treat their candida problem topically and it doesn't have any effect. Topical treatments won't have any effect if systemic candida is already infecting the blood.
I also frequently read about women, who have uterine thrush, who go to the doctor and the thrush is treated with antibiotics for awhile and the vaginal thrush or candida goes away. Two months later the uterine candida comes back with a vengeance and the sufferer continues taking antibiotics and it doesn't work anymore. Antibiotics are about the worst thing you can possibly take for any fungal problem -- because it causes intestinal dysbiosis allowing and encouraging candida and all sorts of other bacteria to spread up into the upper intestines thereby further infecting the body and causing many other problems and complications.
Candida seems to initially infect, congregate and multiply in all the mucous regions in the body -- that's the ears, eyes, nose, lungs, skin, stomach, intestines, breasts, uterus and prostate glands. Let me be very clear here -- initial candida infection is not just limited to the intestines.
It is also well know through research that iodine accumulates and is used as a first line of defense in all the mucus gland secretions in the body to effectively kill extraneous incoming pathogens -- including candida -- quickly. Therefore, if your body is lacking in iodine then it is surely reasonable to believe that the iodine storage sites for the mucus glands are also likely to be depleted of iodine and so pathogens such as candida will therefore have an easy and unhindered passage into your body. This is why I believe that lugol's iodine supplementation is so essential when you are trying to remove candida and other pathogens from your body.
In his book -- Candida: The Missing Diagnosis -- Dr Orian Truss used an eleven page questionnaire and a point scoring system to determine whether a patient had candida problems. In William Crook's more recent and famous book, The Yeast Connection -- he reduced the questionnaire to just four pages. Both questionnaires inquired on the past and current medical history and problems of the patient. These days, naturopaths also use a similar method to determine if you have candida or yeast infections and this method seems to work quite well and certainly much better than the tests and diagnosis from modern doctors.
As Dr David Derry, a well known iodine researcher, concluded in an article -- "Iodine is simply the best antiseptic, the best antibiotic and the best anti-fungal in the world. Iodine kills most pathogens in about 30 seconds -- so pathogens cannot adjust to it like they can with medical antibiotics or chemotherapy."
Hi Wendy... The need for taking more water in the diet is a concept that many people have trouble understanding or accepting.
First thing, water improves digestion. If not enough water is drunk during meals, then digestion in the stomach becomes inefficient -- because the digestion in the stomach is too dry. As well, the enzymes in the stomach are not distributed evenly throughout the chyme or food in the stomach and so enzymes action becomes inefficient when there is not enough water taken with meals. And when this chyme passes into the duodenum for main stage digestion, and because the chyme is not as diluted and spread out as it should be, then the pancreatic juices cannot penetrate and neutralize all the acid chyme efficiently and pockets of acid in the digesting food continue to exist -- thus helping to encourage bacteria and cause acid intestines and many other problems later.
Secondly, there is an important measurement for the body, which Ted from Bangkok has mentioned many times -- called Conductivity. You normally measure the conductivity of your urine. If the urinary conductivity is too high, this indicates excess or too high a mineral concentration in the blood -- or a lack of water in your diet other words. If the conductivity is too low in the body to be effective -- then minerals are low in the body.
No one ever thinks about the proper concentrations necessary for minerals in water as a factor which helps metabolism. But this is indeed critical for the metabolic efficiency in the body. It is therefore simply not enough just to take minerals everyday if your daily water intake is inadequate or incorrect.
Incorrect concentrations of minerals in the blood are every bit as bad as not taking minerals at all. The ancient healers also knew that accurate amounts and concentrations were critical in their remedies -- this, after all, is really the main difference which determines whether a substance becomes a remedy or a poison for the body. Therefore the concentrations of minerals in the blood -- which is entirely governed by water -- is fairly critical for the whole body in terms of metabolic absorption, efficiency and distribution.

Hello everyone... Concerning amounts and clearly laid references to remedies concerning fungus and candida, I wrote a clearly laid out remedy -- all based on Ted's remedies -- a while ago which got rid of my own systemic candida. As well, I have updated it to what I would use and am using now to keep clear of fungus problems and keep my body healthy. Here is the EarthClinic link to the remedies I used for candida:

When I had candida 5 years ago, I used all these remedies on a daily basis. Systemic candida is not easy to kill, and will take 6 months to a year to get rid of systemic candida particularly. So be patient.
To clear up misunderstandings about alkalizing with sodium bicarbonate -- You can use sodium bicarbonate on its own in half a glass of water. I use 1/2 tspn sodium bicarbonate in half a glass of water, but I'm a 200 lbs guy. If you're significantly smaller, then use 1/4 tspn Sodium Bicarbonate. Take this two or three times a day. Taking sodium bicarb on its own in half a glass of water cures acid reflux when taken 1/2 hour after eating(and the food is in the duodenum) as well as helps to alkalizes the blood.
And whether I use two tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar, or use one squeezed lemon or use one squeezed lime I always add about 1/2 tspn Sodium Bicarbonate to the solution in half a glass of water. If you prefer, you can add the 1/2 tspn sodium bicarbonate to the ACV or lemon juice or lime juice in half a glass of water until the fizzing stops. By adding a little extra Sodium Bicarbonate(which is what I do), this buffers the final solution ensuring that the beneficial malate or citrate salts that form are in an alkaline solution. More beneficial. If you are taking these alkalizing remedies for candida -- always alkalize at least one hour before a meal and two hours after a meal to avoid interference with digestion at mealtimes(the exception here is if you have acid reflux).
I still use all these remedies regularly today -- they're good for other small problems as well. I'm over 60 years old and now candida free with no aches and pains, a good heart and I haven't been ill with flu, colds or anything for about the past 4 or 5 years.
Hi Possible Candida Suffer from Chicago... When I discovered that I had candida I had just moved to the Philippines, and so my diet changed anyway -- becoming more rice and fruit based. I only ever eat two meals a day, breakfast and diner, and have no problem with this. I eat no desserts and dislike sweet things. I don't eat junk food or drink much soda pop. I don't eat much red meat -- maybe a steak once a month now. My breakfast is large and fresh fruit based and my diner at night is quite small, like a snack really. But this is just me. Any candida sufferer must adopt a diet of their own choice and stick to it. This is a must and is all about breaking the bad dietary habits of a lifetime which has helped to promote and cause the candida in the first place. The best way is to avoid certain foods and products:
1. Absolutely NO SUGAR. No ifs or buts here -- if you really want to get rid of candida -- it starts here, this is a must!!
2. No junk food allowed.
3. No vegetable oil in the diet. Vegetable oil oxidises fairly quickly on the shelf and very rapidly at high heat. Most vegetable oils are also now made from an unnatural chemical process. Better to use virgin coconut oil for cooking -- this is a very stable oil that is very good for you. When I had candida and started taking coconut oil, my bad constipation and bloating issues disappeared in about two weeks. VCO is very healthy for your body and intestines. I only cook with VCO now and VCO has actually helped me to lose weight.
4. No soda pop. Apart from the sugar, soda drinks also contain carbonic and phosophoric acids -- all of which acidifies your body and encourages candida.
5. Eat only white meat like chicken or fish in small amounts and avoid red all meats.
6. No baking products like bread, cakes pastries etc. In the 70s or 80s the FDA, in the wisdom, allowed the use of bromide and bromates in bread-making and baking instead of iodine. Bromine weakens the immune system and also encourages candida growth. Strangely but happily, I recently learnt that bromides and bromates used in baking in the Philipines have always been banned. Well go figure...
7. No canned products in the diet. Bisphenol A -- or BPA -- is contained in all plastic linings of canned products and is very bad for you. Upsets hormone balance and weakens the immune system.
8. No Calcium which means no dairy products -- no milk, cheese, yoghurt etc. Avoid calcium fortified foods. Excess calcium encourages acidity and thereby aids the spread of candida.
9. No Monosodium Glutamate(MSG) allowed. This means that all soy products made from a chemical process -- including soy sauce, tofu etc. Are not allowed. Avoid all products with added MSG. But any soy products made from the natural fermentation process are OK and allowed in small amounts.
10. Avoid distilled water and tap-water. Distilled water is "dead water" -- it completely lacks any important body minerals that natural spring-water contains. Tap-water nowadays -- due to water shortages -- is now re-cycled and chemically processed from sewage(especially in cities), so Lord only knows what evil goodies tap-water contains. Enough said I think. Drink fresh mineral or spring water or create your own mineral water instead.
11. Try and avoid all (chemically) processed food if you can. Try and eat foods that are made from natural processes without excess heating or use of chemicals/pesticides.
12. When you eat food, don't always rush and over-stuff yourself, as this leads to poor, inefficient digestion and acid intestines. There is always a lag from when you feel hungry to when you are satisfied but if you eat too fast, this is not good for you. Eat your food slower and drink plenty of water at mealtimes for proper digestion. The Chinese -- and Okinawans -- normally eat until they feel 70-80% full, then they stop. This is also good simple dietary practice.
All the above precautions are purely to encourage a healthy body and to create an environment that is very bad for candida. Of course this diet must be adopted as well as Ted's anti-candida protocols for complete success to be assured against systemic candida.
I have just started the 35% h202 program for candida. I am up to 3 drops in distilled water three times daily. It seems to be giving me very frequent and very runny bowel movements-4-5times a day. Just wonder if this is side effect that will go away because I don't want to loose weight as I am only 112-lbs now. Will this subside soon??? Anyone have similar effects? Hi Song Lee...I'm not sure why you think sodium bicarbonate and water is dangerous for your stomach or intestines but I will explain it and try to convince you otherwise.
Please bear in mind the following facts about the intestines:
1. The intestines is about 30 feet long in an adult.
2. The intestinal inner surface is a very convoluted and a highly efficient absorptive pathway into the blood for nutrients.
3. It has also been proven through research that the whole nutrient absorption area of an adult's intestines is about the same size as a tennis court. It's huge!!
4. The duodenum or upper intestines area must be alkaline. I have read research which found that the pH of the upper intestines mucosa(duodenum area) must be maintained at a high alkaline pH of 8.5 for good intestinal health.
5. The lower part of the intestines(the last 10 feet or so), where our friendly lacto bacteria reside, should be acidic(the acidic pH varies).
6. Main stage digestion in the duodenum must take place in an alkaline to neutral medium, otherwise all the pancreatic enzymes(including lipase, amylase, trypsin, chemotrypsin, lactase etc) used in main stage digestion will not be able to act on and digest food. These enzymes cannot work and do their job in an acid medium.
7. Surprisingly, after the stomach has finished its digestion process, it secretes bicarbonates which helps to neutralize any residual hydrochloric acid. The stomach parietal cells then re-absorb these as chloride salts later to be converted into HCL the next time you have a meal. So even the stomach needs bicarbonates.
* The pancreatic juices carry all the enzymes from the pancreas into the duodenum for main stage digestion. These alkaline juices contain significant amounts of bicarbonates. If the pancreas had no bicarbonates to secrete then the acid stomach chyme(food+stomach acid) would not be neutralized and digestion would not occur. The food would then sit there and stagnate or rot, causing further serious disease in the intestines.
* Both liver bile(alkaline) and bicarbonates from the pancreas act on food fats to create a form of soap. This allows for easy travel of the feces down the intestines. If you didn't have enough bile or bicarbonates then this would cause severe constipation (as sometimes occurs in people who have had their gall bladder removed).
Now think of taking 1/2 tspn of sodium bicarbonate with water. How long would it take, travelling down the intestines, before the sodium bicarbonate in water was either neutralized by acids or was absorbed directly and rapidly into the blood by the intestines? I've worked out that it would probably take about 10 ft of travel before all the sodium bicarb was gone or absorbed into the blood. So the sodium bicarb would only ever tend to act to alkalize the upper intestinal region(which needs to be alkaline). What's more, the sodium bicarb would not be able to travel down or reach the last 20 feet of the intestines because it would be gone -- all absorbed into the blood or neutraized by acids in the upper intestines.
I would certainly agree with you that taking sodium bicarbonate and water at the same time as your meal would not be beneficial because it would neutralize the stomach acid and cause all sorts of serious problems. But I have never recommended taking sodium bicarbonate that way.
You should only ever alkalize with sodium bicarb one hour after you have stopped eating. This will not harm your stomach because the stomach stops working about 30 minutes after you finish eating your food so that all or most of the acid food or chyme has already moved into the the duodenum for main stage digestion, which also needs to be alkaline to neutral to be able to digest the food. So if you supplement sodium bicarb with water one hour after you have finished eating then this will also help main stage digestion by neutralizing the HCL in the duodenum where this acid is not wanted.
If you notice on this site with pretty much any issue or condition...there are multiple remedies mentioned because everyone is different. What works for one person may not work for someone else.
This site is all about answers! :) As far as the brewers yeast, simply do not consider it as an option for you presently..as your mind set can affect any results you are wanting for yourself. And perhaps lay off the hydrogen peroxide for a while, and can always restart it again at a later date if so inclined.
That being said. There are loads of ways to manage or get rid of candida...as frankly we all have some issue with balance of bacteria being 'off' at some point in our lives. Knowing how NOT to feed it, while also knowing what will help eliminate it, is what keeps it in check.
Good you are eating healthier as that is half of the issue. Stress however is another BIG contributor to Candida as it raises cortisol levels which then can increase blood sugar and well, we all know that yeast loves sugar. So how are you managing your stress on a DAILY basis?
Pau d' arco, garlic, olive leaf, organic unrefined coconut oil, infused oregano oil, food grade diatomaceous earth, all help kill the yeast/candida..I usually suggest 2 of these..start out with low doses so as not to overdo it initially.
As I'm big in mindset affecting health and our expectations...maybe try to soften your outlook from a 'nightmare' to an annoying situation you are simply in the process of fixing. ;)

Hi Ladies, I just wanted to share what worked for me in the hopes that what helped me can help you. I've been dealing with BV/Candida for about 15 years now - sheesh! My doctors tested me for AIDS, HIV, diabetes (oookay - Im 5'5", 115lbs) anything and everything. Went to naturopaths, tried absolutely everything - threelac, syntol - you name it. Went on special diets, ate garlic... Voodoo magic (not really, but I would have if it helped! ) Some things helped, some did things did nothing. Most things were a complete waste of money and I wasted ALOT of money. BV/Candida is such a curse!! Anyways, as you may already know BV/candida is triggered when the pH of your vagina gets out of whack - which means the pH becomes more alkaline. Sugar, diet, yes.. But the crux of the problem is pH. The vagina becomes more alkaline during sex (to make life more hospitable for sperms), this also happens during the menstral cycle. Once the pH rises, this paves the way for things to start to grow. So the KEY IS THE PH. This means keeping the vagina acidic - what it is naturally.
Here's what worked for me: I started off douching with ACV and hydrogen peroxide, but hydrogen peroxide kills all the good bacteria along with the bad (which can cause alot of problems) and I found it to be too disrupting. Id get rid of the BV, but cause a yeast infection instead. Plus my husband is a scientist and he tells me that extensive use of h202 on mucous membranes can be cancer-causing. So then I just stuck to ACV, with a suppository of lactobacillus for the vagina. So douche in the morning, vaginal suppository during the day/night and then - and this is the important part - I started drinking apple cider vinegar twice a day. Just a couple of teaspoons with water in the morning/evening and my BV/Candida problem has COMPLETELY CLEARED UP!!!! Im telling you its a miracle. Now, when I feel like I've got a problem, I start back on the ACV drinks and within 24 hours everything is gone.
This has been my experience and I told my girlfriend about this after she started having recurring yeast infections and everything cleared up for her straight away too. So I can only hope that you find the same relief!! Thanks, Rachelle
That's cool too, you can have your own opinion. But I think you missed the whole point of this website. If you are the kind of person that believes shared knowledge should be censored, then you might as well just go to the CDC, AMA, FDA, ACS, NIH websites, etc, and follow their recommendations. Because censoring is what they do.
Urine therapy has worked for hundreds of years (maybe thousands?) for a lot of people. It didn't work for me, but hey, I'm ecstatic it is an option that worked for others!
I completely agree with the Mike from Los Angeles' comment about candida and mercury. I had a myriad of health problems since the first time my mom sent me to the dentist in 4th grade. The candida issue was particularly pesky. My mercury research finally told me why- our bodies farm candida to absorb the mercury. That's why die-off symptoms are sometimes so debilitating- the candida is outgasing the mercury as well as other toxins.

My Dad has had a yeast rash for over 50 years. It is mostly on his back and each summer it would cover his back and itch like crazy. Over the years he has visited every kind of doctor and tried every remedy he could think of trying to find relief. He's tried every prescription and OTC pills or cream available with no effect and summers were unbearable as the heat made him itch constantly. Each summer he took strong prescription steroids in an effort to manage the itching. (He was also very susceptible to athlete's foot. )
I recently started researching, and taking, colloidal silver for my cold sores (really helped) and read that several people with systemic yeast infections had amazing results with it. I thought it might do him so good, so my Mom bought some online from a reputable laboratory and he started taking a few tablespoons each morning after he brushed his teeth.
I warned him that since he has had this rash for 50 years it might take 3-6 months before he noticed any improvement. But within a short few weeks he started having more energy and noticed that his constant heartburn was gone and he wasn't as itchy. Within a month his back seemed completely cleared, he didn't itch at all, and his issues with horrible indigestion (much gas and bloating) had drastically improved. For the first time in over 50 years, he hasn't had any symptoms of athlete's foot or his back rash despite a very hot summer. Also, he usually catches every cold, cough, or virus that goes around... Yet last winter he only had a mild cold once or twice.
We started to realize that he has probably had a systemic yeast infection for many years that caused leaky gut and compromised his overall immune system. Out of desperation, he tried colloidal silver for his back rash, but ended up with AMAZING results of more energy, less illness, normal digestion and gas issues, and no rashes. (He will continue to take it daily until he hits the 12 month mark since he's had it for 50 years and he wants to be completely sure that he kills off all of the yeast and not just the symptoms. ) Good luck to all!!
The guy that turned himself blue also brewed his with salt! This makes it bad. It accelerates the brewing but ruins it. The particles are too big cause the process was too fast and the bigger particles turned his skin blue. NEVER brew or consume silver water brewed with salt. It is bad.
I am now on my fourth week with Borax and can say that my candida symptoms have pretty much disappeared. I had tried probiotics as well, and of course a candida diet. It helped but I was not completely cured, symptoms always seemed to come back. Now I feel a real difference. The candida die-off effects only lasted about 24 hours. Borax worked for me! I still feel a little pooped, so I am adding coconut oil and ACV to my regimen. I wanted to try oil pulling but I'm too worried my old amalgam fillings might come out.

Hi Luda...Thanks for your comments. Regarding my own Candida problem, I managed to get rid of it completely about 11 years ago and it has never returned. Many people have the same problems as you -- they just cannot get rid of their candida. Or if they do, like you, it always suddenly comes back. This is really why it's so difficult to get rid of Candida because, for many people, it just keeps coming back and they can't understand it -- in other words, you never really got rid of all your candida in the first place because it was just hiding somewhere in your body waiting to reinfect you.

The reason that people with candida problems seem to fail so often is perhaps because either they don't take the protocol properly or they cheat and eat sugar and carbohydrates when they shouldn't or they come off the protocol too soon because they think they are cured when candida is a still hiding safely somewhere in their body just waiting to pounce. They might also suddenly agree to be put on anti-biotics for other issues for a while by their doctor -- doing this is one of the major causes of serious candida issues. Taking anti-biotics is probably the worst thing you can do because it basically destroys all the good protective bacteria in your gut which now has no local immune defence, so the candida has free reign to suddenly rise up and dominate and will spread throughout your body very rapidly.
Lastly I would be the first to admit that it's very difficult for people to cure themselves with any anti-candida protocol because they really must take their protocol properly -- as stated -- or it won't work that well. This means that if you want to rid yourself of systemic candida issues then you really must be highly focused and have the willpower to do it.
Your dizziness and fogginess could be due to candida poisons or it could be due to an existing hypothyroid condition or it could be both. Best to get your thyroid checked and, when you do, you should insist that your doctor also check the levels of your Free T3 (triiodothyronine) levels which gives the most accurate result for the thyroid. If you just check Free T4(thyroxine), as doctors normally do, you stand a good chance of getting an inaccurate thyroid assessment. See this link for more information on the thyroid.
Lastly, it took me a whole year to cure my own systemic candida issues all those years ago. I actually thought I was cured after six months but I still stayed on the protocol for an extra six months to make absolutely sure because I knew that candida could hide. And when I say that I'm cured I mean that my systemic candida is gone. I can eat whatever I like -- including wheat, oats and milk as well as fruit and sugary foods now and then, without any issues. I also have no asthma or digestive problems or allergies(which can all be strong indicators for existing or latent candida issues).
Regarding turmeric and body odor when taking it:
I rescued an Akita, very ill and stressed. I added turmeric powder to his sardines and rice daily. He started to smell like cat pee. Didn't put it together until I read on an animal natural health blog that that odor is from ingesting turmeric, and the solution is to add cinnamon. It worked for Rocky. He is so healthy now and smells great. Vet is amazed at the transformation.
Apple Cider Vinegar
My lady friend developed a severe case of some type of yeast or fungus overgrowth. It began as a red area under one breast, and soon spread to both breasts, upper chest, stomach and groin area. I suspect a recent injection of steroids (to relieve poison ivy) to be the cause, but that is only speculation. This rash was severe. She was Dr. prescribed a cream and then a powder-- with little effect. I recommended the Apple Cider Vinegar Cure, along with making sure the affected area stayed clean and dry. We applied (again, use only), organic, unfiltered, non-pasteurized Apple Cider Vinegar. She applied the ACV directly to the affected area. It is important to note that applying the ACV to a severe rash is Very Painful! I suggest that if you cannot tolerate the pain, you might start with a diluted (50%?) mixture until some of the "rawness" disappears. RESULTS: 100 Percent CURE! Absolutely amazing. I had similar lung problems, breathing issues, but also pain. Mine started long before I had any idea I had candida, so I used an inhaler or some sort of systemic med for asthma, though it was not a classic case according to my doctors. It kept it under control, but I could never understand why I developed asthma in my 30s. Twenty years later I had a huge health crisis, part of which was candida. I got off all sugar and yeast, which included most of my bread, ie gluten, and 10 months later my lungs seemed to be better, so got off all of my asthma meds too. I had been taking them 20 years faithfully. That was 7 years ago and still no issued. I believe it was candida in the lungs, as many other symptoms disappeared also, sinus problems, skin issues, etc. Start with your diet first and look on this site for natural antifungals you can add to your diet; especially ACV.

I am so gratefull for this site. Thank you everyone for the time and effort it takes to do this. I went into menapause about 1.5 years ago. I developed an overgrowth of yeast that ended up breaking out all over my body in different rashes at different times. Nothing would make it go away. I tried silver. I tried creams . I went on 2 week cleanses and nothing worked untill I tried ACV. I read that this would kill yeast so I started to bathe in with a cup of it in my bathwater and i started to take 2 Tbs with 1/2 tbs, Baking soda with a little hot water and a dash of pure apple juice 3 times a day . Within a week, my rash's had cleared up. One more sore broke out the next week but I have been rash free for almost 3 weeks now and I am so gratefull. I then took Teds advise and took 250 ml of Magnesium Citrate, liquid for w 400 iu of Natural Vitamin E.Capsules and as he said, my body is cooling down. I barely have hot flashes anymore.
