Genital Herpes Diagnosis 2 days Ago

I'm taking acyclovir, but the pills were quite pricey at $120 for a bottle of 70 pills. I would like to do something a little more natural and less expensive.

I've been reading about cornstarch as a way to dry up the sores, and I tried it today and got instant relief from the burning rawness. I actually felt happy today for the first time in a week or so since the first sore appeared, and maybe I can get a goodnight sleep. I am going to try some of these remedies listed here in the future, but hopefully I can avoid having another outbreak for awhile with the regular use of ACV as suggested in some of the posts. I love that I have a bunch of it in my cupboard just ready to use!

Thank you for being here. I don't feel quite so alone anymore.

If you suffer from hsv1 or hsv2 vaginally or on penis, you need to tackle this issue internally. Eat a high lysine diet low on sugar. Only eat fruits for dessert if you can. Drink lots of cranberry juice mix with lemon juice( bottle or fresh) and a half cup of water. Drink this three times daily. You should feel back to normal.

For herpes sores, D'limonene applied asap on the area.

Take a capsule, open it and use it directly or use it with a bit of castor or neem oil. Works right away.

___ Diaper Rash cream works excellent for Genital Herpes! It has zinc in it and it has ingredients in it that heal the skin. At the first sign of a tingle put the cream in the area and it heals so fast. This along with Lysine works better than prescription medication.

Hello Folks, I've been coming to this forum for awhile, usually after I get a breakout of GH and I've tried several of the methods here with some success so I thought I would share my experience. I get breakouts 2 or 3 times a year and here is what I've found helps the most. First off I can not stress the importance of a healthy diet (No sugar!!! ) the next most important thing is Sleep make sure you get lots of it. When I get any signs of outbreaks I immediately apply 70% Rubbing alchol to the area a few times a day, take massive doses of Oil of Oreganol 20 drops under the tongue 3x per day and if I catch it fast enough and watch my diet and sleep well I can usually avoid an outbreak altogether. If it does outbreak well then I keep applying rubbing alchol and 3% hydrogen peroxide throught the first several days 4 to 5x per day with a cotton swab and it usually dries up pretty quick and reduces the healing time. It doesn't always work but it works more often then not. Good luck and I encourage others to keep posting as well as follow ups to what happens to you after treatments! If we team up we can make a difference together.

Hey everyone, I had mentioned that next month I will get retested, but I changed my mind and decided to do it by year end. Here is the reason why. I have just began a vegan diet as of this week and figure I will be ready. I still take flounder and consume the "onion garlic " drink which I believe is masking the condition with GH. Masking is not enough, I want it gone! I was still eating meat and other foods I should not be consuming so hence I am not ready to be retested. With my new lifestyle, I believe the end of the year would be better. I no longer take spirulina since I found out it is high in arginine. I only take the onion/garlic drink, cinnamon drink, lots of freshly squeezed lemon for ph, virgin raw coconut oil and oil of oregano. No more oily foods, salt, sugar etc. I try to eat mostly organic foods especially fruits and veggies raw or blanched. The fact that my friend has evidence that these two people are cured, I feel it is time I get serious. I do not want to be an old woman with this when there is evidence out there of cures. I want my life back.

Folks, do not bother with those who post that there is no cure, all things are possible. Some people want to eat the same old foods and get good result. This is insanity. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. We also have a God who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. Oh, I also forgot to tell you I take purges and enema as well. Do not give up. The evidence is out there. I will keep u guys updated. God loves us in spite of. His nature is to love. Do not be discouraged!

Genital herpes Diet: I am aware that a healthy diet is important to prevent an outbreak of GH. Some readers swear to lay off peanuts, chocolate, oats, beer, wine, sugar, artificial sweetener etc. etc.

I wonder if a kind contributor could list out the type of food to avoid totally and also a recommended list to take to for GH sufferers.
Please pardon my ignorance. I am not sure whether the food I take is doing me any good. I take milk( pastuerised good milk) yoghurt, multigrain & wholewheat bread, hard cheese (Edam & Gouda). I also like brown rice, pasta, chicken, pork, salmon, ham, fresh salad. For fruits, I love banana. I heard it is a no no. Others include quava, grapefruit, kiwifruit, papaya, pineapple. I hope someone can point out which food/fruits I am taking is not suitable for me.

My GH regimen includes LLysine, BHT, Olive extract, Zinc, magnesium.
Hoping for a favorable response.
Thanks

If you google something such as "high lysine foods," you will find a complete listing of all of the foods that are ok for herpes, since high lysine foods are what starve the virus.

Papaya, beets, mango, apricots, applees, pears, loquat, figs, avacados, tomato juice and soybeans have the highest lysine content. Bananas are a no no because the lysine/arganine content is of equal ratio. Fish, meats and cheese are all high in lysine as far as I can tell, though I am just learning about this diet myself.

I contacted a friend of mine a month ago when I first contracted herpes. She has been dealing with it for a number of years and she highly recommended a zapper and sent me a link. I ordered it (she should know best) and have been doing it 2 times a day every day, including as many high lysine foods as possible and ACV. I am getting very good results - my only problem seemed to be recontamination, but the man is gone as of last week, so now I should be a-ok. The zapper is strange - it weakens the cell walls so suppliments and medicines become more effective.

Good luck to you - I am going to try to get a hold of an olive leaf...that sounds very interesting.

Hi 2nd Chance, I just mentioned the zapper last week. It is a device based in Hulda Clark's principles. The actual zapper I use is called The Terminator Zapper. It's simpler than the actual Hulda Clark zappers and very effective. I have had one for a couple of years and wore it all the time for a few months. Now I only use it occassionally. I just had my daughter wearing it as she had a urinary tract infection.

If you google it, you will find lots of information on it. I believe I bought mine for about $115. They can be expensive but it's unnecessary. They can take care of worms, parasites, viruses, funguses. It alkalizes the body and transmits frequencies that kill all pathogens. I would wear my zapper on my hip and at night as well. If you have any other questions, let me know. Hope this helps, Lisa

Do you have any idea why anything with a current would put me in even more extreme pain for a week or more.... Not being able to get up off the floor? That includes accupuncture, tens machine, electronic regenesis machine, accupuncture with a current. I think the zapper would do similar things to me. If you believe in hemaview - my blood showed no healthy cells, flooded with viruses, could only find 1 bit of candida. The naturopath suggested I had a immune system that wasnt working. But a zapper would be useful for killing some of these virus. Ive tried everything else suggested on here for virals. The earthing matt I use a grounding rod. The slight tingling I felt the first 2 nights I do not now.

Hi Robyn, Blood is the carrier of all diseases.

You should try rebuilding your blood cells rather killing bacteria and viruses.

Have you tried Wheat Grass Juice. Wheat Grass Juice builds your blood, the wheat grass juice molecular formula is itself similar to Heamaglobin except it has magnesium than iron in Heamaglobin. It is anti parasitic, which would kill the pathogens.

You should give it a try, in addition take natural home made probiotic foods like: Milk Kefir, Saurkraut, Miso, Kombucha tea, Umeboshi

Hi Robyn, I am actually going to give you the link to the terminator zapper that I use. That way you can read about it yourself and then come to your own conclusions about whether it will work for you or not.

http://wolfcreekranch1.tripod.com/terminator_zapper.html

I know you are extremely sensitive so I can't say whether you will handle it or not. I have never felt any stinging or itching but they say that if it begins that way, it will decrease as the body becomes clean.

As for the earthing mat, I'm glad to hear you are using the grounding rod and that the tingling you experienced in the beginning is gone. Perhaps this will be your experience with the zapper. Wish you the best, Lisa

Pity the pain and allergies didnt go with them but I will continue with wheatgrass for the rest of my life, even though it doesnt seem like theres going to be much of my life left. Robyn, reading your post I can't help but comment anything that could possibly help you as you seem in a special needs group where there is little resolve. As for "wheatgrass", a wholesome "green" drink of many health-conscious folks. But I believe there is a common oversight concerning the wheatgrass. As far as benefits, the mature wheatgrass is way less than its younger stage as "wheat-sprouts". The sprouts are loaded w/ naturally occurring antioxidant enzymes that really supercharge the life of our cells. Have you tried the sprouts??? They would surely help your seeming free radical condition.

Robyn, just a few past experiences:

1. If you can tolerate lemon, you might want to up your intake of that.

When a family member of mine was taking it daily, and his house got infested with bedbugs, and it was mosquito season, everyone got bitten except for him. This might mean that the "bad bugs" don't like lemon, or ppl ingesting it!

2. Another family member resorts to "only fruit and veggies" when Crohn's strikes. It never fails them. Raw or cooked doesn't seem to make much difference here.

I am now still in early stages of using H2O2, so am avidly reading the entries for Candida. For herpes, I was clued into l-lysine some years ago, and it is great. Foods high in L-lysine are listed on the internet, and also foods high in arginine, which is in chocolate, nuts, popcorn, brown rice and other foods. Arginine is used in labs to GROW the Herpes virus, so those chocolate and nut snacks can give you an attack! I have purchased l-lysine over the internet and also at some grocers and health food stores, and just keep it handy. Often when I want to eat some chocolate, I pop some l-lysine soon after and no problem. It is a harmless amino acid and resets the balance in your system.

Candex is very good for Candida but so expensive, I am happily taking the H2O2 and wanted to check increasing the dosage from 8 drops in an 8 oz glass of water 3X a day and here is all this information for me! My Mother and Grandmother died young of breast cancer and I began researching things that cure cancer as I realize the AMA is not chock full of 100% doctors, and found ESSIAC. The herbs can be purchased pre-measured from the Herb Products Company in Hollywood. I am 62, teach yoga and breathing techniques, doing them myself daily and am very healthy!

Hi, i have read some of the feedback on your site and found it very interesting. I contracted genital herpes in 1981-2. I went to a clinic and they gave me the bad news. I asked what should i do when i get the outbreak as it was so painfull. The answer i got was "run and bath of warm water and pee it that ". mmmm very good. At that time there was no cream on the market or any other forms of treatment so it was a case of suffering for many days. I get the itch and the sore leg and the depression. But as time has gone on it has lessened and i have very few attacks so count myself luck in some respects but let me say i had my share and have sympathy with anyone who has herpes now even with all the treatments you can take. I did start to use a cream after many years called Zovirax which helped a lot.I do find or have found that a healthy diet and i don't mean drinking diet drinks and eating dietary food i mean eating veggies and drinking plenty of water seems to have helped me. I also do eat plenty of garlic and love spicy food.I also think that getting depressed about having herpes actually does not help as the depression brings on the attack. Maybe i am wrong but i feel that feeling down doesn ot help.So try and keep positive about the situation. Man it's not going to kill u unless u give it to the wrong person ahahahah.

In the past i have always used anti viral drugs to control my outbreaks. After 8 years of very frequent outbreaks & almost daily medication i can say that i have finally found the key to my problem:a healthy diet. When i was diagnosed, i was never explained any information about how diet can influence or bring on an outbreak.I was told that antiviral medication is what i needed, with out any knowledge of other more healthier, natural alternatives. So since reading & sourcing as much information i could find on controlling my outbreaks, i discovered that eating foods high in alkaline & avoiding foods high in acid completely knocked out my outbreaks. Lemon/Limes are a big part of my diet & i can say that these amazing fruits avoiding chocolate, coffee, beer etc have turned my life around for the better :)

Herpes 1 & 2: My husband and I have had HSV 1 [in my mouth] &2 for nearly 20 years; we are both pretty healthy [he is a Vegan, I eat chicken may be four times a year, so primarily a vegetarian diet]. Try to eliminate sodas, anything artificial and meat from your diet if possible and anything with Yeast and ALL Fungus foods like Mushrooms, Cheese from Animals. -There are too many delicious alternatives today not to.

For the last twelve months we cut all yeast from our diet, began taking Olive Leaf Extract capsules for nearly twelve months and began drinking at least 2-3 cups of Cinnamon Tea with Honey daily [which I make every week]. We also incorporated Blackstrap Molases and Apple Cider Vinegar daily [1 tbs ea. to 8 oz. of room temperature distilled water] twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. In addition to our daily liquid vitamins, minerals, greens.

Anyway, we have not had any outbreaks or symptoms in at least the last nine months where we always had two to three outbreaks a year and I believe eating healthy foods like raw fruits and vegetables in addition to Olive Leaf Extract and Cinnamon [which are both anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-bacteria and kills yeast].

In regards to the Cinnamon tea, I usually heat up a large pot of water boil for 15 min. add 3 to 4 cinnamon sticks, cover, add about a cup of raw and unheated honey and leave on the stove overnight and put in the refrigerator the next morning and drink all week and repeat as I get low [usually makes about a gallon and a half. It is so delicious, just make sure to brush your teeth afterwards, it will stain your teeth. ;)

I'm not worried about that, but women need to be aware of this concern.

For genital herpes, use DMSO as soon as you feel it coming on. Dab Dmso directly onto lesions. Also rub liquid Magnesium onto spine - that's where virus hides when its dormant. Herpes hates Mag and coconut oil.

I contracted it from a girlfriend about 40 years ago. I suffered outbreaks about 6 or 7 times a year. I had read about DMSO, can't remember where I first noted it.

I first used DMSO after I suffered with the problem for about 5 years, during which I had outbreaks. I read that the virus stores itself in the base of the spine between outbreaks. I decided to apply DMSO to the base of my spine. I applied it once a week for about 6 weeks. From the date of the FIRST application I have never had an outbreak. During the period after the first application I have been involved in vigorous sexual activity with my wife or girlfriend. I believe that I am cured, but have not been tested, not knowing that such a test existed.

I got this special gift from an ex back in 2001. I use to have small ob's about 3 times a year. Then last July (2014) I had an ob. I put Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide directly on the ob and then topped it off with DMSO (liquid form, with a Q-Tip). It is now November 2015, and I have not had one ob since that last one in July 2014. I KNOW it was the DMSO that cured it! Like I said I was having ob's at least 3x a year for 11 years. Did the Peroxide/DMSO treatment and now nothing. This cannot be a coincidence. Also, since that lasts ob, about once a week I take Q-tip with DMSO and just wipe my vaginal area. Just to be cautious. I am living proof that this stuff works!

DMSO, Coconut Oil & Lemon Water

So in the past when I've gotten the beginning signs of a cold sore, I've applied a layer of pure DMSO that I got from the local Tractor Supply Company in the equestrian section. I use the pure 99% gel form. It's easier to use. Then a layer of Extra Virgin Coconut oil, then another layer of DMSO. I let it soak in for 20 minutes before I dress. Do this three times a day. Make sure the area is clean before application. If I catch the outbreak early, it never turns into a sore and goes away in a couple of days. If I drink lemon water every day, twice a day, morning and bedtime, in addition to a daily application of the DMSO and Coconut oil, then I have thus far been able to prevent the outbreaks altogether. Use fresh Lemons, not the already squeezed lemon you buy in a bottle. Also, try to avoid sugar and alcohol. I personally drink coffee every day on this protocol and still am outbreaks free as long as I maintain the regimen daily.

I wanted to clarify that even when there are no sores present, I apply the DMSO and coconut oil once a day, every single morning regardless. It just acts as a continual line of defense in case any little bit of the virus gets through to the skin. DMSO is important because it carries the coconut oil through the skin transdermally. It's pretty destructive to the herpes by itself. But the coconut is a double whammy because the herpes virus is enclosed in a "lipid bilateral envelope". That means it's enclosed in a layer of protective fat. And one of the few things that can actually penetrate that fat and help break it up to expose the virus' weakness is more fat. Hence the coconut oil. But coconut oil is also a potent antiviral that can kill most viruses in their tracks in a laboratory setting. So the coconut oil helps expose the virus by fusing with and removing that layer of fat so both the DMSO and coconut oil can attack the virus after it is exposed and unprotected; and the DMSO helps carry the coconut through all those layers of skin. So Coconut oil and DMSO are a really great team. I warn about making sure the area is thoroughly clean because DMSO can carry other things through the skin as well that may be harmful.

So I have slacked off big time on my regular lemon water regimen. And a huge outbreak popped up. I've been dealing with it for a month. This morning I started back drinking one and a half liters of lemon water a day. The DMSO and coconut oil help keep the sores from turning into blisters. But the sores would not go away. I started drinking lots of lemon water again at 9 a.m. this morning and it is now 4:30 p.m. The itching and burning has finally gone way down. So it seems the key to prevention is mostly the lemon water. I will still use the DMSO and coconut oil. I'm going to start adding in lecithin. But this is really and truly the dream combo for me. I wish everyone good luck!

Final Update: I just decided to stop everything except lemon water. I went from drinking a warm cup of lemon water in the morning to drinking a whole squeezed lemon in 1.5 liters of water and drinking it throughout the day. The month long flare that would go away went away in 2 days. Drink it with a straw so the acid from the lemons don't damage your teeth. Also drink more water with electrolytes during the day because I've heard too much le.on water can dehydrate you if you don't drink anything else with it. All I needed was to drink more lemon water and drink it through the day. So it looks like all I need is a whe lemon squeezed in 1.5 liters and drink that every day. I understand some may not be able to handle the initial acidity of lemons, but as I understand, after digestion, it actually turns alkaline and can clear up acidity and inflammation in the body. So turns out drinking enough lemon water during the day is all I need.
