Effective Natural Treatments for Pet Tumors: A Guide

Essiac Tea
Posted by Sarah (Chicago) on 02/12/2018
★★★★★

Hi there everyone. I posted in Sept. of last year 2017 and I have learned a few things since then.

Essiac Tea is wonderful!!! It has almost completely changed my dog's life. My border collie who is 15 has a horrible tumor on her chest, near her front right leg. It started out very small and grew huge. We took her to the vet 100 times but they will not do much for her because of her age. so we started her on essiac tea. 2 ounces a day an hour before or after food.

The minute I stopped giving her her essiac tea she got sicker. So I'm keeping her on it. She always gets the tumor cleaned with peroxide 3 times a day, hot(not too hot) compresses and cold compresses, washed out with lukewarm water and antibacterial soap 3 times a day as well.

I also have her on...enzymes, probiotics, a daily vitamin, Omega fatty acids, a grain free and raw diet, and now I am adding sea buckthorn fruit oil to the mix. I give her garlic and turmeric in her food all organic and I can honestly say without a doubt that she would have been long gone if it wasnt for this site.

I just ordered Colloidal silver because her tumor is opened up and draining. More then half has flattened out and is healing already. Now just in the middle of it is the last to drain and then heal. So I am right now in the motion of preventing infection and boosting her immune system to fight anything off. I just ordered manuka honey because I've researched and read that it will help with pulling all the bad out and helping with healing. I keep it wrapped with gauze, ace bandages, and tape at night which is when I notice she tries to lick it. I have been giving her around the clock care for months now and she is still normal..eating, drinking, pooping, peeing, playing, barking, etc. I know that the tumor must drain before it heals. So I just keep her area clean, dry and make sure she is always comfy. I also give her apple cider vinegar and keep her alkalined. It is indeed alot of work but worth it if you love your animal and want to keep them healthy and happy.

Please listen to the advice of the people here because without I know my baby wouldnt be here right now.

Multiple Remedies

Good Morning,

this is a very long post for our Buddy regarding his Squamous Cell Carcinoma inside his mouth which has formed a tumor seen outside also almost the size of a golf ball, so if you don't have time (I've gotten to the point first) or if you are going to say something negative (we are not interested, so take it to bed with you) my purpose is wanting to know if anyone is familiar with any type of homeopathic remedy topically put on a dogs tumor which is digestible being his tumor is inside his mouth (can be rubbed outside if that works too)..I've read about castor oil and turmeric applied with a cheesecloth also I've read about salve (scared to put this in his mouth) plus other remedies and I'm so confused. My result is we need to shrink or rot this tumor so it falls off...gross I know but it is possible.

Also if anyone has experience with Chemotherapy in the form of Palladia orally at home or Carboplatin infusions please give me your experience with this, I may have waited too long though considering I was concerned it would cause organ damage or suppress his immune system.

if anyone recalls our cocker Spaniel Buddy was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma cancer tumor on the left side of his face inside of his mouth unfortunately. They gave him 2 months to live back in March 2017, next visit in August they gave him 4 months to live so now I don't pay much attention to that.

Everyday I do what I do to keep Buddy healthy. It seems like a lot but his morning ritual take about 30 minutes and making his food monthly about another 30 minutes. It's become part of my daily life. The most exhausting part is not daily but the research and reading I do weekly.

Buddy immediately after the diagnosis went on an

*all natural protein and vegetable diet which I make at home monthly and freeze (Dusty loves it too)
*he takes several vitamins for his immune system,
*the Budwig Protocol which includes emulsified cottage cheese and flaxseed 2 x daily,
*2 types of eye drops considering the tumor is pushing on his eye which can lead to infection. Thankfully Chris prescribes it!!
*CBD oil just in case he is in pain daily
*I found a pill from Japan that stops the bleeding in a day or 2 every once in awhile when the tumor bleeds which is normal
*weekly walks
*groomer comes to him so he's not exposed to other dogs and I've stopped his immunizations for various reasons,
*he has comfortable beds and areas on the sofa with blankets all over the house so he can relax wherever.

I Just recently started giving him Essiac tea 2x daily to drink and I'll see if it makes a difference. I have experimented with other natural remedies and vitamins but don't continue if I don't see a change.

Buddy is doing great in every aspect as far as eating well, sleeping, energy level, looks pretty happy other then the tumor has and is still growing..

I'm looking for a miracle which is something to stop the growth and shrink or kill the tumor 😟 Buddy and I open minded and flexible and he is very cooperative and takes anything I give him.

I'll be taking him back to the oncologist to follow up. Last time we saw her blood test we are good as far as organs doing well.

Castor Oil
Posted by Mama To Many (Tn) on 01/08/2018

Dear Rockel,

I can't point to any research. I don't know that there will be much to be found since castor oil as a cancer treatment won't be profitable enough to have studies funded. From reading of others' experiences it seems that sometimes the castor oil can make the tumor grow (swell, perhaps?) at first and even open up. This can be a problem for some cancers if further growth would affect a nearby nerve or something else. Opening up can cause blood loss.

But that said, I think some might choose it as the best option under certain circumstances.

Essiac tea would be another option to consider.

I have been reading threads on here about castor oil packs for tumors on pets but have read miscellaneous comments about people reading that they were not good for malignant tumors, of which my cat has. I haven`t seen anything conclusive or documented on this subject. Only heresay of the commenters having read it somewhere. Can anyone point me to more research on the subject? I really want to try this soon if it is an option for my poor baby girl. Thank you!

Response to post on cat neck tumor: Our 17 year old black and white tabby 'buttons' has had a hard tumor that is growing on the right side of her neck right below her ear for months now. Our vet told us she had an ear infection (which was treated with antibiotics prescribed by the vet), an ear polyp and the hard tumor. Because of her age, any kind of surgery is out of the question. So we wait and watch. I would like to try the castor oil....but am skeptical. Do you think this would really help her? I would love to get her back to good health and have her around for many more years as we love all of our cats to pieces!!!

Hello, I just read down through the many reviews and comments regarding tumors, castor oil and turmeric. None of the discussions mention whether the tumor is under the skin or on it. Can we shrink a growth that is under the skin, whether it is cancerous or not, using castor oil and/or turmeric? What about tumors that are located elsewhere like in the liver? Would turmeric cure such a tumor by itself or would one need to add other remedies? Thank you.

Hi Jordan's Mom. There is a supplement from Nature's Sunshine Products called BPX. I don't know of any pet owners who have tried it but I do have customers who've used it with really good results. I'm not sure what dose to recommend without knowing your cats weight. I also suggest not feeding commercial food but if you do make sure it is completely grain, corn, wheat and soy free. Also milk thistle extract should be added. I get it for my dogs who have seizure conditions that can only be managed with Phenobarbital and Kepra. I put them on milk thistle as soon as I had to start the medications. Phenobarbital is a drug that doesn't just cause liver damage it will cause damage. My little George and Tina have been on this over three years and their every blood work they've had even as recent as two months ago show perfect liver function. Milk thistle not only protects the liver it also promotes new cell growth in the liver and kidneys. I've often seen conditions like this in humans and one thing in almost all shown in blood work is abnormal liver function. Worth a shot at any rate.

Seabuckthornberry oil is ingested and you do NOT apply it on to the actual tumour. Presently I have a tumour on my neck and I am using seabuckthornberry oil in an attempt to shrink it. Make sure you are using seabuckthornberry oil and NOT seabuckthornberry seed oil.

I would give him a home made diet. ORGANIC chicken turkey some beef veggies and fruits and I would start giving him supplements immune support, cell salts, probiotics, and enzymes. Then ESSICA TEA. My 11-year old almost 12-year-old border collie had two tumors. One fatty and one that scared me. Looked like cancer. I did what I told her and gave her 2 ounces of essiac tea for 1 week and her tumors already shrank at least 2 sizes. The one that is scary looking is already draining and almost completely flat. I make her own food and treats and make sure she gets plenty of spring water. Keep her alkalined and she is doing much better. Do your research. Cancer or tumors can not survive in oxygen keeping him oxygenated is what works the best. Essiac tea is amazing and I will tell everyone I know about what it has done in my dog!! Good food is number one in my book. If he is in pain look up Milk Thistle it helps.

My dog had what I'm assuming was a sebaceous cyst about the size of a golf ball on his back. It burst but it keeps filling up over and over again. Clear fluid with a little blood is what is coming out of the cyst. I've tried castor oil, hydrogen peroxide, iodine, apple cider vinegar and a healing salve. It heals nicely but then fills up again and I drain it so it's never really healed completely. Any ideas on what to do?

Hey Sigmund,

I am sorry to hear about your dobie's nasal tumor. It is astonishing what we are seeing now in such young animals :( . Certainly consider the castor oil therapy, but what comes immediately to my mind is the Budwig protocol which can be used in conjunction with other therapies. Please check out EC's page:

https://www.earthclinic.com/remedies/budwig-diet.html

In addition Google "budwig diet for dogs" and explore the hits that come up. Also consider turmeric: https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/turmeric-for-cancer.html

Our 4 year old doberman was diagnosed with a nasal tumor today. They have not done a full biopsy yet to determine what type of tumor because during the exam they noticed a heart arrhythmia. Now we need to bring him to a cardiologist to be sure he can withstand sedation for the biopsy. The specialist recommended radiation as treatment. Most of the articles I have read today concur with this treatment since surgery does not prolong the life of the animal and radiation seems to be really the most common treatment. However the life expentancy is 3 to 12 months with this conventional treatment. We are looking for alternative medicine that could help. If the cardiologist says his heart cant withstand sedation than we would not have the option of radiation since they need to specifically know the type and location of the tumor for that treatment. So, alternative is medicine is what we need. He is just a sweet and beautiful young baby and this news is devastating to us. I have read about the castor oil therapy. I wondered if anyone has used this with success for a malignant nasal tumor? Any advice would be welcome.

Do these tumours refill with new blood as soon as they are emptying? Last night when I unwrapped his leg the blood was spurting out. I am not sure what kind of tumour this is but it does seem to be very bright red blood. There isnt any sign of the other substance coming out. And when it is bleeding is it ok for the dog to lick the blood or will this make them ill? Also the tumour skin is looking quite raw because it is covered 24/7. Is this ok or should it be uncovered? (to be honest I think it would bleed all day if it wasn't covered with a pressure bandage). Very concerned and trying to convince myself I am doing etc right thing here!

Dear Jess,

The oozing from the tumor does seem to be common, but surely distressing. I do think it may be blood and other fluids, in other words, may not be quite as much blood loss as it would appear.

Pale gums would be a sign of having lost too much blood.

Giving your dog blackstrap would help build the blood, as would a chlorophyll supplement.

Personally, even if the draining is normal and expected, (it seems to happen a lot) I would probably want to keep it controlled too like you are doing with cayenne and pressure.

Keep us posted.

I have an old but happy dog of 14 years who has an apple sized tumour on his front leg. The vet age him 6mths to live and said he was too old for surgery. So a week ago I started applying castor oil and turmeric pack and wrapping it. A week on and the tumour has started to bleed every time I unwrap the bandages from tiny little holes. The blood is oozing out so fast its hard to not get extremely stressed about too much blood loss. I have read on various threads that the tumours do bleed but I am worried about how much is normal. The only way I can stop the bleeding it to pour on cayenne pepper and strap with pressure. Is this just the tumour emptying itself? Our hound seems happy in himself and is eating well twice a day but I keep asking myself if I am doing the right thing by him. Has anyone else in here experienced a lot of blood loss from the tumour and should I just let it drain? Any advise would be very appreciated. Thanks

Hi Mamma for Many

It is a sad day today we lost Jed this morning at 5.00am. But I am certain that what we were giving him really helped he was not in any pain and just went peacefully he was two months off 13. My only regret was that we could have done more if we had know at the time what was out there to help fight his condition tumour /cancer. The only thing we should have done was give him a prescription dog food that is available that is 100% good for your do and cancer can not feed off it. I think it was called Hills Prescription diet N/D. If we had known about this at the start we could have killed the tumour stone dead from the roots out and if it can not feed it can not live. We did not know that everything in the regular dog foods cancer loves and feeds off. But everything else we used of this Fantasic website worked We just did not think about the feeding habits off the tumour. I hope this helps someone else. A big thankyou to Mama for Many. Dear Paul,

I think you are going to become an expert on treating this sort of thing!

What you are doing sounds good and yes, castor oil sounds like a good plan.

You might consider Essiac Tea if you could find some where you are. It has helped many people with tumors and also been used successfully with pets. It is a mild tasting herb blend that you make into a tea. It would probably be remedy to keep him on for life. Essiac contains burdock root, slippery elm, Sheep sorrel and turkey rhubarb.

We found out the cause of Jeds swelling this morning, his tumour is back. We kept him on turmeric from last time we never stopped the twice a day even when he healed up. We now have added the coconut oil to the mix as well just one tablespoon a day with his food. It has come back slightly forward of were it was last time. We are thinking now of castor oil to see if that does any good we are far from giving up the fight. Apart from that Jed is fine. Do you have any other ideas as to what we can do to help him?

Dear Paul,

Sounds like you are doing great stuff already for Jed.

Is it possibly that he has injured it or had a bee sting?

I would continue what you are doing and perhaps try hydrotherapy, which is just fancy for alternating warm and cool compresses. I have found this to work surprisingly well to reduce swelling.

Use two bowls of water, one warm and one cool. (Not hot and cold - too shocking.)

You start with a cool cloth and hold it on the inflammation for 30 seconds or so. Then switch to warm for 20 seconds or so. Continue back and forth for 7 applications total (4 cool - begin and end with cool.)

This can be done several times a day if he seems comfortable with it.

You could also try a bentonite clay poultice if you could get some clay. French Green clay would do as well.

I mix the clay with water to get a paste using non metal containers and utensils. I spread the clay onto a clean cloth and fold it into an envelope like thing and apply to the swelling. I usually put plastic wrap then cohesive tape to keep it on. (Sticks to itself but not to fur and is hard for animals to remove.) It does help with pain, also.

I know you will keep us posted on his progress!

With some fantastic help from "Mama to Many" we got Jed back to health again and got rid of the tumor all that was left was a healed lump with scar tissue that was it.

All was good for three weeks and Now his front leg has got swollen up to his shoulder. We kept him on his tumeric but it just stays the same in size, it's slightly red and warm.

We put manuka honey on it and it cooled it down and we are giving him vitamin C tablets twice a day. But it is still swollen and he does not like to get up now and stand on it what can we do to get rid of the swelling. Many thanks in advance Paul and Jed.

p.s. Apart from the swelling he is fine he will be 13 on September 13 2017

Dear Tclack,

Yes, it sounds like what you are doing is working. It seems that often the tumors look worse right before improving.

I would continue with those internal remedies as they will support the body fighting infection. You might also add vitamin C to what you are doing internally. While dogs make their own vitamin C, under times of stress, a supplement is sometimes helpful.

Aloe and castor oil, gently massaged topically on the tumor can support its healing and may help with pain.

If there are actual open wounds, my preference is raw honey, topically. If possible, you could dress the wound and change the dressing a couple of times a day. In other words, honey on the wound, then a couple of layers of gauze, then cohesive tape to hold it on. My large dog is not able to remove cohesive tape, which sticks to itself but not the fur. Honey keeps infection from setting in and also heals.

My biggest concern with this type of tumor is the risk of blood loss if it suddenly drains a lot. While you want whatever is in there to drain, if there seems to be significant blood loss, cayenne pepper can be used to stop bleeding topically. It sounds awful but it stings just briefly then actually can relieve pain and stop bleeding.

Keep us posted on his progress!

I have a 12yo pitbull with an orange size fatty tumor on his leg. About a month ago I started adding turmeric, blackstrap molasses & coconut oil to his food. About a week ago the growth increased in size to about a grapefruit and is starting to ooze blood from tiny holes to relieve pressure. The skin is very tight and you can see blood pooling. He licks it constantly and his body seems to be running a slight fever. Prior to this vet did not want to remove due to his age.

My question - it seems his body is trying to expel the tumor. Is there anything I can do to help limit his discomfort or to help it expel more quickly to relieve the pressure?

Does anyone else have examples of where it was expelled and what to expect?

The size of the wound from the start was very large and deep after the tumour burst open and all the nasty stuff came out and we were left with a big deep hole. Since applying the Manuka Honey on and in the hole it has all but closed up now there is no sign of the tumour it has gone and all the swelling has gone down too. The are that is left as of now has closed up by about 80% so not much more to go. Jed is back on his feet and 100% a happier dog. Thank you for all your help through this difficult time us and thank you to all at the Earth clinic website this has to be the best find I have ever made on the internet.

So we cleaned out his wound and it is perfect. We applied the honey and put respect dressings on to keep it clean and lick proof. Jed Is as happy as can be and been fast asleep for hours now he is one happy boy and feeling better for it. Just got to wait time out now for the magic to work.

Thank you for all your help it is much appreciated. The update on Jed. So far is I tried the turmeric and yes you guess it he licked it all out when I was not looking and made himself sick so went to plan B the Iodine solution you recomended stated not to put it in open wounds so I am a bit bothered about that. So now looking at plan C The Honey do we just pack out the tumour hole with honey? This is going to be fun lol.

The good news is as well all the swelling has gone down in his front leg and Paw just about back to normal and he is starting to take food again slowly as he wants it. Oh and is back to being alert when he hears a bag being opened thinking there is a chance of food. Which he was not doing two days ago.

So he is well on the way to getting better.

So the only thing now is this big hole to sort out? Do I just pack it out with honey?

Dear Paul,

What a happy update. So glad to hear it.

Yes, I would keep the hole clean. It should repair itself over time. Honey, topically, may help the wound to heal more quickly if he wouldn't lick it all out.

Hi, thanks for your reply, Jed is now on the mend the blood loss was just a lot discharge from the tumour which has now stopped. The next day we noticed that the swelling had gone down a hell of a lot and Jed was brighter in himself. Yesterday there was very little discharge so we gave him a full body wash to make him feel better. This morning the tumour has gone down 75% which is amazing all the stuff inside the tumour is coming away and out so we will be now left with a hole were it was. The question is now what happens next does the body repair the damage in its own way? and do we just keep the wound clean?

Thanks In advance.

Dear Paul,

I am sorry about your dog's tumor/bleeding!

Is it enough bleeding that you are concerned about blood loss or just that there is an increased discharge?

You might try giving some blackstrap or even chlorophyll if blood loss is a concern. How big is your dog?

I would give a 100 pound dog as much as a Tablespoon of blackstrap and several tablespoons of Chlorophyll each day to make up for blood loss.

If it is just draining/oozing, I would try to keep it clean, perhaps with povidone iodine. Turmeric can be used in wounds to prevent infection. So can honey.

If the bleeding is severe, cayenne pepper will stop bleeding. We have used it in wounds. It sounds like it would sting, but it really doesn't. But if you dog was inclined to lick at the wound, it would not be pleasant for him. Cayenne can be used internally also to stabilize bleeding but I have never given it to a dog. I am not sure how he would take it.

Keep us posted on Jed's progress! It is hard to see our beloved pets suffer...

I read this page and used castor oil on a tumor on the neck of one of my cats. This tumor had been on his neck for years but it had recently started to grow. I could not afford surgery so I tried the castor oil on his tumor twice a day. After ten days the thing disappeared within two days. Fascinating. It has not returned. It was not an abscess. It has been on his neck, on the underside of it, for years... Miracle.

Hello,

Get some organic flax seeds (whole) from the bulk section, about a pound. Get some cheat new ladies knee high pantyhose, two pair. Prepare the flax, about 4 tbsp by grinding it in a clean coffee grinder until the seeds are opened. boil a cup of water. Put flax into foot of pantyhose, and make two knots . Cut between knots so you can use the leftover hose for another poultice. Put poultice into hot water for five minutes to hydrate it. Apply to area, be sure it is not too hot. Bandage over it so it can draw out anything from the mass. Change twice a day with new poultice. Three day minimum, in a row. If mass emerges, carefully clean area with diluted apple cider vinegar on a washcloth. The Apple Cider Vinegar will acidify the skin and restore balance. Healing should begin and show closure in a few days. If not healing or increasing heat or signs of infection, seek vet help. This old fashioned medicine works. Good luck.

Hi, keep a very close eye on if you if you think it is about to burst.Don't walk him in any wooded areas.

He may not want to walk far if he is in pain.

The main thing is, if it bursts you have to prevent any further infection. Go to your local health shop and buy some colloidial silver. This can be used for cleaning and healing. Also, get some manuka honey. This is brilliant for healing wounds. You also, need to get some dressings. That are sterile. You need some gauze and some self attaching bandages. And some sterile cotton wool for cleaning. Do NOT try to burst it yourself. Get plenty of dressings. And start doing it now. The pressure may help it to burst. I know you are on a tight budget. But, if it gets infected, you will have to go to the vet. so, you clean it, then apply the manuka honey. (It must be the Manuka type). And then dress it with the gauze. And the bandage. You can now buy the type that doesn't taste nice! He mustn't be allowed to chew it. It may be best to get a cheap Elizabethan collar.

Have you tried Turmeric paste on your dog? Also Arnica homeopathic 30 remedy to promote healing. Also sounds as if he needs a probiotic, kefir is really excellent as it has at least 10 strains of healthy bacteria needed for optimum gut health and Vitamin B, amino acids and magnesium, you can make this yourself. Get the gut strong, use the turmeric paste it acts as anti inflammatory and good for tumours, growths etc.Good luck.

I don't know about rubbing it on the tumor. The postings did not say that. You may want to re-read the posts. You should give it by mouth. My dog licked it from the bowl but you can add it to yogurt or something else. My dog was about 20 pounds and I gave her a whole dropper full daily for three to four weeks when I noticed that the tumor had pretty much disappeared. Make sure to get the 'berry' oil not the 'seed' oil. While the seed oil might work, I had results from the berry oil. Good luck.

hi interested in the cottage cheese gunk coming out . My beautiful Rio moon fox. (She fox size). Has what I believe to be a tumour, had lump removed for lots of money. Couldn't afford it to be analysed. She is a fit dog of Aprox 13yrs.old. She recovered well the lumps were on her left rib cage, then started to grow back, I was told that I should have it removed again, but one cell left it would grow so chose holistic remedies. I have been through lots of herbs her lumps grew size of tennis balls! She has been having turmeric in her diet until she refused and since last oct2016 the lump burst she has been having honey raw organic. And a few months of comfrey root compresses. The wound was very angry.

Then a friend who had cancer healed with bicarbonate and bentonite clay. So I have been giving her bicarbonate and turmeric honey in syringe internally and on the now 3 open wounds! Cottage cheese like lumps coming out and discharge. Lots of. Lump at back going down two open lumps crater like ongoing battle compresses and. Daily bicarbonate/ lavener/ROSMary baths as the wound is sore, and DIEING. infused herbs not essentials. Getting greens blended with good dog food. Also nettle porridge with chicken, now using chamomile tea bags soaked aloe and caster oil. She is now on antibiotics when I can get them in her. She's foxy clever!!! As I was concerned about the discharge / infection.

The bicarbonate seems to of had the most affect at dissolving the lumps she's had 3 weeks of it, turning them to snotty cottage cheese like bits!! They grow in bubble like formation the lumps cluster together and as I can see them they die slowly and the stopping them growing is a headbanger!? Any other suggestions?!!

Also giving her vit c. So much more could write weeks of nursing till early hours. I am tired!! But she is an angel dog and she is fighting not ready to go, the one vet would of put her to sleep last October!! Lazy vet!! Not into holistic luckily I have found a herbalist vet X she is great. But expensive, big love to all of you nursing your poorly babies I know what an emotional roller coaster it is. We are special and so are our beloved friends.

Desperate!!!!!!!

Finding it hard to write my own post. Please I am in need of desperate help for my cat. He is around 9. I have written on here before. My boy was diagnosed with lymphoma back in Nov 2016. After being misdiagnosed with an URI I started him on Essiac tea after a while was pretty good and his coat looks the best it has ever been.

Anyway 3 days ago his right third eyelid covered most of his eye and he went back to being lethargic and not eating. Took him to a vet and he is on antibiotics. She said it maybe a cyst behind the eye or a tumor. Also I may have to get his eye removed if it doesn't respond.

One I really do not want that and two after $1700 for the other treatment it's too much of a strain.

What can I do? If I do castor oil will it grow the tumor/cyst and then his eye pop out. I'm terrified of what can happen.

I've come home to give him his antibiotics and he is hiding. This scares me as it is what happened to my 8yr old soul kitty and I lost her to cancer.

Please help me please

Cottage cheese looking stuff blowing out? Not a tumor at all, in all likelihood. It's probably a sebaceous cyst. Dense coated and double coated dogs especially are very prone to them, but they form when a sebaceous gland impacts and the sebum (the oil that lubricates the hair shaft) builds up. My dog gets them all the time.

Cat fibrosarcoma

So, my 15 years old cat had the x-ray and ultrasound and the vet.said some tumor is in her belly. It is 4x2 cm, in the lover belly, and it is palpable. On ultrasound it seems it has one part solid, one liquid like a cyst. The vet said that he thinks it is some kind of sarcoma, started im muscles and then entered abdominal cavity. I didn't want her to go to biopsy and the surgery, which vet also agreed, so I started to investigate what can I give her. By the way, her blood sample is ok, all is good, other than creatinine that is lightly high. She is ok, normally eating(just a little bit smaller portions), drinking, peeing, pooping....behaving like always. So I hope I got the right time to act, but I just need some advice.

I found out this remarkable site and I saw that a lot of you saved your beloved pets with Essiac tea and shark cartilage. On my research I found that people are not so keen to this treatment because it is not proven to work.

Anyway, I ordered them both, and beside that I am giving her some Spirulina, Ganoderma, Hydrogen pills, while I wati the tea to come.

I would like some comments, tips, suggestions, what to do with my 15 years old best friend? I must say that I'm a DMD, and finished acupuncture school, so any suggestions which points to use is great.

Please, write to us, 'cause we are desperate in some help.

Thank you all

If I have calculated correctly it is December 23, 2016 and I am now on day 50 minus 10 days that I was off the aloe at first and her tumor/cyst hanging from her body like a plump grape has disappeared. What is left is a dried pea scab that is left to disappear. You can see my post on my cat in the pet section. I found the dried up skin was bleeding and was very concerned and then realized that I was giving her cod liver oil and it is a blood thinner so stopped for a few days and then instead of 3 gel caps I gave her only one. It seems that the bleeding has stopped. Dr. R. McDaniel has provided much needed information about the plant. Here is a link to one of h is interviews. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpywvzRfIL0 There is a company that makes the juice that has left all preservatives out and ships frozen to customers. I watched an interview and he makes sense when he says that preservatives are killers. They kill bacteria so we don't put it into our aloe vera juice. Aloe1 is the brand.

Palliative Care for Dog Mast Cell Tumor
Posted by Erin (Tacoma, Wa) on 11/30/2016

My dog was diagnosed with mast cell tumors at 13 years of age. Here is what we did for him palliatively, since he was so old that surgery was out of the question.

When it presented, one of his fatty tumors ballooned to twice its normal size. The vet gave him a biopsy that confirmed mast cells. Within a week, it had perforated and left a huge, hamburgerish hole in his side that we were told to keep covered, and that it would probably not heal.

Bandages are expensive, so I ordered organic, reusable bamboo breast pads online (10 pack) to use in place of primary bandages. We asked around and received about 10 ace bandages that we used to secure the primary bandages, then bought a rigid back brace to wrap over the top of the primary and ace bandages to make it harder for Skipper to access the wound.

At first we were changing the breast pads several times a day, and each time we would slather one of the following:

  • Cold pressed, hexane free castor oil
  • EVCO
  • Vitamin E oil

To these we would sometimes add turmeric, Lugols iodine. Definitely added Yunnan Baiyou to wound at first when it was bleeding so bad, and also included a pill or two internally the first week. After he healed, we put Dr. Schultze's drawing poultice (look at Curezone for recipe) overnight, and left all bandages off during the day.

After about 6 weeks, the wound closed up completely. We frequently put ice packs over the bandage system to keep him comfortable when the sore would flare up.

Onto the supplements we had him on:

  • CannaCompanion cannabis (see their website for specifications)
  • Vet prescribed anti-inflammatory
  • Turmeric and pepper pills found at Costco
  • Green Mush pills (you have to assemble capsules yourself, unless your dog will eat Green Mush mixed into food)
  • 2 Benadryll
  • 1 Tagamet
  • Activated charcoal & Psyllium
  • Pribiotic
  • Indica just before bedtime towards the end

I attached his regimen. He was put to sleep about a week and a half ago, but I know he would have died sooner and been more uncomfortable had we not followed this protocol. Hope this helps someone out there!

Aloe Arborescens Formula

My cat has had a cyst for over 3 years and nothing has helped. I don't know if it is a cyst or a breast cancer. 25 days ago I started with father romano zagos aloe formula. 1/2 jar mountain wild raw honey. One leaf plus a little more with a good deal of the skin removed because it is not organic leaf. 4 tsp vodka.

As you can see it is not the true formula but I couldn't find the arborense aloe. I had been applying the aloe topically but nothing much had happened. The cyst started bleeding. Saw blood on counters and figured out it had to be the tumor. It was. I applied cayenne immediately and the blood did stop. Used alternately compresses of plantain and dthen aloe vera while taking the zago formula. The cyst/tumor has begun to shrivel up. from a grape to a raising. It seems never plump since. This is day 25 into the on 10 days and off 10 days. She receives absolutely no processed food.

Obviously until that tumor is completely gone, which I have no way of knowing it will be gone I can't say it is a cure. I wanted to post this to show others aloe vera, raw honey and vodka could help. This tumor at present has not plumped up for 25 days. From the poor results I have had with so many failed products in three years, keeping it in a shriveled state for so long, is in itself is a miracle. Right now I think I could cut the cord (it is attached through the skin not the rest of the body) and it would not come back. Will not try that.

Father Romano zago's formula found on cancer tutor reads:

1) Half a kilo (1.1 pounds) of pure honey. Synthetic or refined honey should never be used.

2) 350 grams (.77 lbs) of Aloe arborescens leaves (generally 3 or 4 leaves, depending on their size),

3) A distillate to preserve the product and open the path for the main treatment to get all over the body (by dilating the blood vessels). The distillate is a small (about 1% of the formula), but very important, medicinal part of this protocol. Only 40 to 50 ml (6-8 teaspoons) is used. It is generally whisky, cognac or some other pure alcohol.

Note: I have also been treating her for kidney problems like not urinating for 12 hours. I am dealing with two problems. So you can understand that I was thrilled when she suddenly started to love me again.

Note:

Two nights ago she bounded into my room pleading for food. She has been shying away from contact with me and I had missed her. I think she doesn't like to be around the computer because this didn't occur until I shut down. Two nights in a row. I wonder what damage the computer is doing to us. Found her at 6:45 am t his morning asleep on my left shoulder.

Honey
Posted by Patricia (Downsville) on 09/19/2016 42 posts

I don't see a way that I can be notified when someone answers this. Also I don't see honey on the list of remedies.

My cat has had a tumor or cyst for over two years and have been trying to find something that works and had found nothing. I read somewhere about honey packs. When I read that a bee keeper said that the only thing that will kill cancer is honey. What that bee keeper said stuck in my mind and tried to use the honey but the growth is in such a spot that I couldn't get anything to hold it in place and every time I wrapped it the cyst would fall out of the bandage.

Anyway the growth didn't shrink when I tried the honey and read that the use of plastic or metal touching the honey would effect its efficacy and the honey had to be unheated. My honey was definitely contaminated if that story was true. I would have to start with a new jar. I called the same company that made my raw honey and asked if it was unheated. They assured me that it is. So my friend brought some back from New Jersey where he works last Thursday night September 15,2016.

To make a long story short, after 72 hours of slathering this honey twice a day and securing it with an Ace bandage for two hours on this growth, which was hanging from her chest, it had reduced 80%.

That was last night at 3 am. This morning it had enlarged some but no where near the size it had been Thursday when I started. I was told to use silver in the honey and a friend said that the baby spoons we found was plate.

My method: I was afraid to use the spoon so I poured the honey onto a 2x4" gauze pad but first used my finger to spread some on because growth was thicker than the depth of the honey.

I just thought that someone may need to hear this information before it is conclusive and the entire growth completely terminated.

I thought that if I could use DMSO to allow the honey to penetrate deep into the skin it would work better. I also purchased DMSO. When I read the label that stopped me from using with the honey until I had more research. So that bee keeper may be correct. Will soon find out.

That said nothing has worked even close to what the honey has done to shrink this growth. I am amazed.

I will continue to use this. I just wanted to post it so that others in fear of what to do for their animals can run with it and relate what their results.

Hello, My 13 year old cat was recently diagnosed with squamous cell of the gums. He had surgery in June to remove most of the mass but the doctor said she could not get it all because of the location (upper gum by canine tooth). I have been giving him essiac with his wet food approx two tablespoons. One in the morning and one in the evening. He is active and eating and drinking regularly. The mass has grown quite large in the original location and gradually has hardened.

Could anyone tell me approx when the tumor should shrink. From most of the posts it happens quite fast but we have been religiously monitoring the growth and it hasn't shrunk, it has only gotten bigger. Also, he seems to be sneezing periodically. Could he be allergic to the herbs in the tea? Any help or suggests would be greatly appreciated!

Can I suggest something about turmeric for tumors. I have been using turmeric for years to great effect, I have extracted raw turmeric root and used alcohol to seep over several weeks to extract the essential oil or resin. But I discovered certain varieties of turmeric work better than others, the yellow turmeric seems to be more potent than the orange turmeric. Feel free to disagree, I can only report what I see and I feel its necessary to point this out, to those whom maybe interested. When I used orange organic grown turmeric over the last two years, effect was void. Previous years I used white/ yellow and orange in combination it was impressive particularly with tumours. I source my turmeric from Earthcare Maleny QLD. I am not connected to this business and I am a customer only.

My cat has a tumor in virtually the same area. I purchased the same exact peroxide. What dosage did you give your cat? How often? And how were you able to successfully give your kitty enough?

LInda C

Can you give the detail for the aloe vera and castor oil for tumors. How much of each? how long did it take? Is it applied externally?

I have not been able to apply enough of anything on her tumor and have not been able to cover with a bandage it due to where it is. I think the aloe and castor oil may have the consistency of a salve and be able to cover it up.

Thank you, Patricia

Give the dog the rabies homeopathic remedy before and after the rabies Vaccine. The remedy will neutralize negative effects of the shot.

Bloodroot Cured Equine Sarcoid

I don't know if bloodroot works alone. Two products I used will only work if the tissue is cancerous. One is Cansema found at altcancer.com and the other is indian herb http://www.lifelinewater.com/herb.html

They are each applied only one time unless you didn't put enough on the first time then apply it a second time.

Can this product be used in a cancerous tumor? My 17 year old rat terrier has a hard mass in front right limb could be cancerous. Vet does not specify.

Essiac Tea

★★★★★

Four months ago my dog (Sam, 65 lbs) had a lip tumor taken off by the vet. He also had several fatty tumors removed. The vet wanted to biopsy the lip tumor because he said it was different from the fatty tumors. I didn't have the money after unloading $400 for removal of very large tumors. I don't believe chemo etc works so I decided not to have the biopsy. One month later the tumor was back and triple the size and growing fast. At that time I also noticed a large mass on the same side that appeared to be in the lymph node area of Sam's neck. Sam was losing weight and energy though still eating.

I decided I had nothing to lose and started him on Essiac tea powder. I would decoct the tea and give Sam 2 oz/ once each day. I added some sardine juice and he would slurp it down each time. I also changed his diet from commercial dog food to cooked chicken, cooked eggs, beef, sardines and canned wild caught salmon and sometimes a cooked sweet potato or other veggies that dogs can have. Immediately his tumors begin to swell. I knew this would happen but it was still difficult to watch. I cut back the dosage a tiny amount if I thought they were getting too big and threatening the integrity of his skin. Eventually there was a point where the tumors begin to shrink. I did notice the beginning of an ulcer on one of the tumors but when I backed off the dosage for a day or two it got better. He did have diarrhea but we just tried to give him access to the yard as much as he needed it. Essiac (the company in Canada) does sell something else to combat that, but with essiac at $50/box (includes 15 in shipping from Canada) I couldn't afford another remedy.

It's been three months since we started Essiac. The lip tumor is gone. The throat tumor is almost non-existent. I am beginning to wean him off the essiac. I don't know if that is necessary but it seems logical to me. As a side note, his coat is unbelievable since he's eating good food. His bad breath and inflamed mouth is gone. I think commercial dog food is a horrible idea after trying meats and eggs and seeing the difference it made in Sam. He has so much energy and he is not plagued by any arthritis or pain. Sam is 12 years old going on 5 or 6 now!

Do I feed the coconut oil to my dog or rub it on the spots?

Yes, if you able to pick up organic all the better, if not the supermarket.

I read your post and I would like to know if you can post pictures, I think this will be the solution to my dog's problem.

EC: Sorry Yadi, Betty's post is from 2010 and she likely won't read your post.

Coconut Oil

Did you treat your cat with coconut oil? My cat has throat tumor. looking for more remedies to add to DMSO, Colloidal silver, bloodroot and artemisinin. Just found out yesterday it was a tumor and it needs to shrink soon so she can eat and breathe normally so far breathing is OK but we have to shrink this thing for her to eat. We put a feeding tube in, so I can get any supplements into her easily now as well as food of my choice (lots of raw organ meat, and organic raw meats). Thank you!

Patricia, I just now found out you can't use Blu Kote on cats. It can be harmful to cats.

Hydrogen Peroxide is OK for cats on wounds.

Hey Diane,

Per the wiki page: Blu Kote contains "Acriflavine has been shown to have anti-cancer activity by inhibition of HIF-1 which prevents blood vessels growing to supply tumors with blood and interferes with glucose uptake and use."

FYI Blu Kote is commonly available at farm supply or fleet farm type stores, though you may find it in walmart and the like in rural areas. The Active Ingredients: Sodium Propionate, Gentian Violet, Acriflavine,

Inactive Ingredients:
Water, Isopropyl alcohol, Urea, Glycerine, Sodium hydroxide.

Hi Linda! How long did it take for the cyst to shrink after giving your dog castor oil and turmeric? Mine also has one growing on his upper eyelid and it got infected so now he's on antibiotics but it seems to be getting bigger. I'm desperate for alternative options.

Hi Patricia,

The Blu Kote stains but only for awhile.

I used to get some purple on my finger and the stain didn't last long. Sorry I don't know much else about this product. Only that it worked on the dog's tumor on her paw and you better ask if it can be used on a cat.

I notice that some products that are good for dogs and not good for cats. Blu Kote is great on wounds for dogs and other farm animals. My neighbor's males dogs got into a bad fight and one dog had a nasty wound on it's leg and my husband sprayed Blu Kote on the bad wound and it healed nicely.

Diane,

Thanks for posting the info about your dog's tumor. My cat has a growth of some sort on her chest and nothing has worked. It is in a spot inside her left front leg where a bandage doesn't work.

I just contacted Dr. Naylor and asked if Blue Kote be injested as cats lick all the time. I told him about Dr. Simoncini?? from Italy and that he says cancer is a fungus (Blue Kote is a fungicide according to the company) and he uses baking soda to coat the tumors and they vanish. Perhaps the fungicide property of Blue Kote is why your dogs tumor dried up.

Does the purple stain? My cat's underbelly is white.

Do you know if this product is natural or chemicals?

About 5 years ago I had just taken in a stray dog (Black mouth Cur) and within a few months she got a tiny bump (Tumor) on top of her front toe.

It got bigger and bigger and I tried soaking it in Epsom salt as a friend advised but it didn't work to get rid of it.

It grew a little more and looked like a beautiful gum ball with a swirl of nice colors! I remember a product I used on a real bad wound a neighbors dog had, a product called BLU KOTE by Dr. Naylor! It sprays on purple. It worked on my neighbors dog's wound so I figured I would try it on the tumor. And it worked! I would soap up and rinse the foot and tumor then spray the Blu Kote spray on the tumor.

The tumor eventually dried up and fell off leaving no scar. But I don't know what type tumor it was.
