My friend had two cats with high liver enzymes. They fought the medicine the vet prescribed. I gave them "full spectrum" milk thistle. They sprinkled one capsule on their food which they ate. (Big surprise) The levels went down and the vet said, "keep doing what you are doing. It is working". Liver problems respond to milk thistle. This brand was from an online vitamin catalog store and only cost 3.49 for 100 caps. I believe in full spectrum herbs.
Be careful, shots are just as bad for pets as they are for people (in fact my dog has developed a tumor exactly where they gave her the vax - she is taking thuja (homeopathic) to detox and I have tried everything I have read on here esp. the castor oil and turmeric, Although it did not get bigger since the use; it also has not shrunk - so I have been using natural antibiotic such as grapefruit seed extract and colloidal silver (directly on the tumor) and it seems to be shrinking ever so slowly tho. Alternately I also saturate it with arnicare gel - (in case she is having any pain issues) not getting bigger and my be shrinking. (also since these things may be parasitic I put black walnut tinture occasionally) - no grain food - and good meat products are also necessary for the diet. (small batch, primal, natures variety are brands of wild meat for dogs and cats that are sold at some smaller pet stores in the freezer.
Chaga is actually in the Funghi family, medicinal mushrooms have been used for centuries in Asian, Japanese cultures to enhance the immune system. They have also been known for their cancer fighting benefits. My 12 year old Lab has nasal cancer, I am using medicinal mushrooms (including Chaga) and herbs to try and treat him. Check out Paul Stamets/Mycologist. It has only been a coupleof weeks but I am hopeful from reports from some others. Best wishes for all in the healing of our sweet best friends.

It certainly appears that the health benefits of using castor oil topically to reduce tumours outweighs the risk of the dog licking some up and having a loose stool. JMHO!
Don't know how your pet survived when he could have been licking the castor oil on his fur. It is considered one of the most dangerous toxin to pets according to the ASPCA pet toxin list. Anywhere on the internet you search it is considered a toxin to pets requiring vet care immediately if ingested. I would like to use it on my pet's small tumor if you can convince me it is safe if my pet licks the castor oil when it is on the fur.
I know this post is almost 2 months old, but, thought I'd share; I found this lady's blog about how she applied the castor oil. It makes a lot of sense because it includes the use of heat.

I have a 12 year old beagle with mammory cancer. The tumour was bigger than a baseball on her lower stomach. I have started putting castor oil on the tumour after applying very warm water to it, 3 times a day. I have also been feeding her a homemade liquid drink called Chaga. Chaga is a tumor on a birch tree. It is cut off the tree with a knife and is black. I boil a piece of Chaga in boiling water, until the water darkens. I store the boiled liquid in a bottle in the fridge, and give her about 3 ounces a day. Can also break up some doggy treats to put in it with a little tumeric spice. She loves it. I believe this restored her health considerably. She was very sick, and now has lots of energy. The tumour is shrinking slowly, however her health in general is back to normal. How ironic, "Tumor growths on the longest living thing on earth could be the answer, and right in your backyard". Won't stop looking for answers until it is gone, and certainly can't afford those outrageous vet bills. Also feed her salmon to give her the Omega 3 required. She really thinks that is a real treat.

My furry boy was just diagnosed with a tumor Friday. It is pressing down on his brain stem. They think it is a Choroid plexus tumor. I have been reading for some kind of help for him and right now am drained. He just turned 9. He is 42 pound dachshund/cocker rescue baby. They put him on Steroids to see if that will help shrink around the tumor. I have been reading things today that say it will actually shrink the tumor. He has had four doses of the Steroid meds and was doing better yesterday. He stayed awake all day and into the late night. Today he is making noises as though he is uncomfortable but yet he likes to go out and walk and is wagging his tail and licking me as he has done. Coconut oil is mentioned, I've read and heard hydrogen peroxide will help. I am now so confused and I feel as though time is not on my side. Can anyone help me with what I can do for him please? To know if the castor oil will work onyour dog's tumor, you have to try it - no knowing unless you try it.
Some posts on the page indicate castor oil is contra indicated for malignant tumors; its hard to know what type of tumor your dog has with out further testing, however chances are its a fatty tumor/non-malignant.
For any bleeding- you can use cayenne pepper. I would try sprinkling it around the area and gently add more. Cayenne stops bleeding. It is wonderful. Do some research online- you'll see. I hope your baby is better.
Hello, today I just found a golf ball size tumor on my dogs neck, which isn't opened. I came across the castor oil cure and just wanted to know if it would work on the tumor if the tumor felt like it was connected to something inside his neck? It doesn't feel like a loose tumor. I don't mind taking him to the vet if I have to, not that I dont want to, just have to get extra money. I appreciate your time and answer. Thank you soo much.

Despite the yucky experience, it would seem healing has been taking place and the body is working to expel this tumour.
Keep a closer eye on this thing. And keep doing what you are doing.
Is the bleeding stopped? Change dressing daily if not oftener to ensure the bleeding is in check.

Help Needed.
14 year old Shetland Sheepdog has/had a large growth above Left Front Elbow. (Hard to tape it shut)
Vet said she would need to take blood sample to determine what it was. We didn't have the $ to pay her. We left the vet.
Got on Earth Clinic.
Poured Castor oil on it and taped packed it the best I could and taped shut - 1 1/2 day gone buy with that on it. Went for more supplies today, , , Sat. 11/9/13 to remove bandage.
put in tub to wash and remove more hair and the dried blood on the Tumer.
Then the tumor or what ever it was just started squirting out all this chunky debre that was inside of it...it completely emptied out the cavity is empty.
I poured provadine iodine in it, on it and waited till it somewhat stopped dripping blood, lots of blood.
We have it with gauge pack and tapped shut.
I need help.. Don't know what I should do with it. The cavity is loose hanging empty .. Has 2 small holes in it where the chunky cottage cheese debre squirted out of it.

Robtyea from Wrightsville, Pa posted on 03/30/2012 - in case s/he doesn't see your message I will offer a reply.
Food grade hydrogen peroxide [H2O2] is a 35% concentration; food grade is the only H2O2 recommended for internal use. Using DMSO - to bring it into the cells - requires food grade H2O2. So please make sure you have the right stuff, as the 3% concentration purchased in the 16 oz brown bottles at the drug store has impurities in the form of stabilizers for added shelf life in it, and you don't want these drawn into the body.
Now, there are many cautions about using straight 35% concentrated food grade H2O2 right out of the bottle; its caustic. If you poke around on the web you will find that a 10% concentration is the highest concentration folks might take orally, and that the stuff beauticians use on your scalp to bleach your hair is a 6% concentration.
And, if you poke around on the web - cancer sites and such - you will read about folks using straight 35% food grade H2O2 right out of the bottle swabbing moles and skin tags and the like; general concensus: its harsh and stings but doesn't eat a hole right through you like hydrochloric acid might.
Now, Robtyea used a 3% mixture of H2O2 to cleanse the area before applying an equal mixture of 35% H2O2 and DMSO to his cat's tumors.
To break that down: Mixing the DMSO and 35% H2O2 in equal parts created a 17% concentration of the H2O2 that was then applied to the tumours.
To make a 3% solution for cleansing from your 35% concentration - take 1 part of the 35% H2O2 and add 12 parts distilled water.
So if you use 1 tablespoon of the 35% concentration you need to add 12 additional tablespoons of distilled water to make your 3% cleansing solution to make the solution that Robtyea used prior to swabbing with the 17% H2O2/DMSO mixture.

I just noticed you said you feed her cooked pork? Please stay away from pork, and RAW meat is best, if you can afford it then try to feed her just raw meat, with cooked veggies, also a bit of oatmeal or rice with it. I have always noticed an extrmeme difference when feeding my dogs RAW

The Tumeric you can put right into her food, I wouldn't suggest giving her honey everyday because of the sugar in it. I also used coconut oil in her food as well. The castor oil & tumeric I mixed together to make a paste then I soaked a piece of flannel in it, large enough to cover the tumor, then wrapped over the flannel with some gauze and self adhesive bandage. You have to diligent and do it twice a day. If the tumor is in aspot you can't wrap then apply the paste and leave it, but as soon as you notice the paste has worn off or the dogs has licked it off then apply it again. It doesn't work over night, it took us 2months of applying it and feeding her the tumeric and coconut oil, but now she is tumor free. Good luck and let me know how it turns out.
Turmeric: I have a 13 yr old lab mix that has some fatty tumors as well as something on her right flank and possibly the right one. I took her to a holistic vet for acupuncture as it helped a dog that we had years ago. She said that it could be a tumor but without X-rays she wouldn't know for sure. Maggie has had two bloat surgeries within the last 3 years and I don't wont to take the risk of putting her to sleep again. She is not limping and is still very active and eating well. I have decided to try the turmeric as well as the castor oil. I mixed the turmeric 1/2 tsp, with about a tablespoon of local honey and she licked it right down. I am not sure what to do with the castor oil. Do I make a poultice for her hip or does she ingest it? The vet ran blood work and everything looked pretty good except for her creatinine was a point over normal. The visit was close to 400$ and as with most of the folks here have other pets and limited income. So I am going to give this a try and will keep you posted. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. She eats taste of the wild salmon along with pork meat that I cook, about 2-1/2-3 cups daily. I have her blood test that I can send if it would help with suggestions. Thank you glsmith14
Hi, I just read this. Sorry to hear about your dog. Please do a search online at Amazon or iherb.com for the seabuckthorn berry oil. It is not that hard to find. Since your dog is 71 pounds I think you could give him 2 to three droppers per day. Maybe one dropper in the morning and one in the evening. You can always adjust it. It sounds like a lot but it is a fruit oil so it really is like food. However, this is not professional advice. I know it sounds good to be true but it really shrunk the tumors on my dog. She is still with me. Please try it. And, best of luck to you. Please post here to let us all know if it helped so others will know too.
p.s. As I posted, my dog is 19 pounds and one dropper full (not drop) was a good dose for her.

To the Staff of Earth Clinic, I am sending these photos of the tumour that is on my dogs front leg and how it is healing after using turmeric, castor oil and aloe vera on it.
First Photo: taken after five days of putting turmeric in his food, it swelled up and then started to get soft and crinkle and blister.
Second Photo: taken after four weeks of treating the tumour. The "wound" was not cleaned so it has some grass on it however, once cleaned, mixture was applied and wrapped. there is no infection and it is closing slowly.

Her description of her dog's tumor reaction from using castor oil pack treatment reminded me of the description I read of tumors being treated with a product called "Black Ointment". As the tumors are being destroyed and break down, they exhibit All the "symptoms" Melissa was describing! She might want to look up websites on "Black Ointment";some of them have photos of various tumors during treatment, from start to finish. Evidentially the Very nasty-looking "symptoms" should not scare you into stopping treatment;otherwise you halt the Complete elimination of the cancer. Treatment might even cause a fairly deep pit/hole, but this is a good sign, showing that the "root/s" have been destroyed. Hole will fill in from bottom out; just follow the "Black Ointment" treatment directions. (Or complete the castor oil treatments until nastiness stops & then maybe use aloe vera gel to help new skin growth).

Update: I have been using the turmeric and castor oil paste for nearly four weeks now. In the last day or so, I have added aloe vera to the paste. The tumour is open but no infection and is clean, no smell or weepiness. It looks as if the skin is re-growing and closing the "wound". I use equal parts of turmeric, castor oil and aloe vera in paste (1 teaspoon each) aloe vera is straight from garden and I open leaves and scrape out gel to mix in with the turmeric and castor oil. I couldn't be more happier with the results. EARTH CLINIC: is there any way to put up before and after photos to show people how effective this has been for my dog. And thank you Earth Clinic for this site, it has been invaluable.

I would like to thank all the writers here for your advice on reducing fatty tissue tumours in dogs. I started treatment on my 13 yrs old dog two and half weeks ago. I put turmeric in his food every time he ate and rubbed the tumour with castor/tumeric combination. The "size of a golfball" type tumour ruptured after enlarging and shrinking last week. I have been treating with anti-biotic and the castor oil/turmeric pack and wrapping it (i sit with dog for an hour each time because as soon as my back is turned, the bandage is off and he is licking it). The size of the tumour has decreased by 70% at least and seems to be regenerating skin and closing slowly. It looked really nasty but I cleaned it 3-4 times a day and applied anti-biotics. I am happy with what has happened so far and am very thankful for the advice as a I am a pensioner and vets, etc are just too expensive. My biggest problem is keeping him from taking the bandage off. He looks happier and is moving around better. My fingers are crossed that it will be nearly all gone and healed within a few more weeks.
Hello, my best friend Freddy is a 19year old Shepard chow mix that I rescued 15 years ago. He is my world. He developed a fatty tumor on his side that started out about 4 years ago. The vet said don't worry about it, he is not suffering from it. Well, about 3 weeks ago he started licking it and it started out the size of a walnut. Now it's the size of a baseball. Every time the vet declined surgery cause they claimed it was not bothering him. Well now it is a problem. I have it bandaged and the vet now won't do surgery cause he is too old now and they said he won't do surgery cause of his age and they say the anesthsia can kill him. So I have been in the last day thinking about a vitamin called nuVet. The reviews are amazing, saying it shrinks the tumor but when something sounds to good to be true it usually is. So I came across your story. My dog is 71 lbs. What dosage do you suggest for his body weight and where can I get this sea buckthorn berry oil??? Please help.
Yes, coconut oil is excellent for dog's health. I use it to cook my dog's meal. A popular Holistic vet near us recommends not to use olive oil for dogs b/c it disrupts their digestive system.
Get a good quality turmeric and cover the wound with it. Later, when dry, you can use coconut oil to close the wound nicely. Turmeric is anti tumor, natural antibiotic, blood cleansing. Om

Hi my Labrador has this huge growth on his side that has started bleeding. We started applying castor oil about 4 days ago. It's gone down but has burst and is now quite open. More than pus is starting to come out of it. Is this supposed to happen? Also what did you do after putting castor oil on? Thanks, John
I've applied castor oil to my dogs tumor on the side of her body. My question is, The tumor is now looking VERY scary, ugly, deformed, bleeding, and oozy. What does this mean? Is it breaking down? I try to keep it clean and bandage it, but she usually ends up ripping them off and licking the site. I have stopped the castor oil and try putting neosporin. Sometimes it looks like pus is forming but then it goes away. Any suggestions thanks.
Google food grade hydrogen peroxide therapy. I use it and it works, it's easy, it's cheap and it's worth a try. There is tons of info about it on-line, good for both humans and animals. Good luck.

My sweet 9 year old Vizsla dog was just diagnosed with an aggressive glial cell brain tumor located in his occipital lobe. He had 5 siezures last wednesday 3/20 and after recovering from those he had an MRI and a spinal tap to determine what was going on. It is not surgically treatable and we can't afford radiation and really don't want to put him though it. We want to find something that will shrink his tumor holistically. He is really strong, and healthy otherwise. I have read about many treatments such as the Budwig diet, frankinsence, DMSO with aloe vera, essiac tea.... He is taking an anti siezure medication and steroids. The neurologist gave him 3 to 6 months to live and we are trying to be as hopeful as we can. I give him reiki about an hour per day and he also gets tong ren. I am looking to change his diet and do anything else that will help! Do you or does anyone have any suggestions? It is scary and any help, insight or suggestions would be amazing! Thank you!!!!

I have a 10 year old, 20lb terrier. She has had a benign fatty tumor just above her chest bone and below the collar line for several years and about 1/2 a golf ball in size. I have been giving her about 1/2 tsp of turmeric in her food every day for about 3 weeks. It has shrunk considerably I may up the dosage for the next few weeks to see if we can completely dissolve the tumor.

I have two standard dachshunds that each have marble-sized fatty tumors on their lower necks (at the top of each front leg) Both dogs are approx 10 years old and overweight.
I am going to start a 'castor oil pack therapy' on them. Each has a different, separate condition that might also respond well to the packs. One (Jeau) has chronic pancreatitis, high liver enzymes, and a 'sludgey gall bladder'. The other (Linus) has intestinal adhesions from surgery and develops blockages that are painful. I will update in two weeks!
I also have a 13 year old bald dachshund (Telly) that gets warts that need surgical removal. They start out flesh -colored (he's considered a 'blue', so his skin is dark grey) but then they change to light pink and then dark pink. And they grow. I am going to dab some castor oil on these growths each day. He has approx 6 warts right now in varying degrees of needing removal. Will also update his condition in two weeks! (he's also paralyzed and gets frequent UTI's... Will castor oil help with this??)

My Bichon/Poodle was recently diagnosed with having the same high enzyme production in his liver and vets can't figure out why. They want to give him Pepcid AC to calm his stomach upset in the emergency clinic, but the doctor is also giving him a milk thistle derivative. Can you tell me if it worked on your dogs and details of your treatment?? Thanks!

Hello All: I learned Saturday that my 10 yr old mix (Golden Retriever/Border Collie) has an enlarged liver, masses/nodules on the liver & (1) 2 1/2 cm on on her spleen. Her liver panel came back okay. The vet said an area of her liver is holey/or looks like swiss cheese. The history is, she had a large sarcoma removed from her back leg in Oct 2011 & has done well up until this point. She has very little appetite, weak limbs, panting. But she has good days & bad days.
My challenge is during this past year, my vet is very against anything holistic, "natural remedies", organic, etc.. I had ordered C-Caps from Pet Remedies & my vet said not to give them to her, but I did anyway & within a few months what seemed to be masses were virtually gone & saved her from another surgery. I do have milk thistle/dandelion drops for her now. She is currently on meds from the vet & l/d soft food for a special liver diet.
These website note "to talk to your vet before giving them anything". What do you do when your vet has a history of saying no to anything but what they recommend?? I am at a loss. Chloe has an appt for a biopsy & bile acid test on Wednesday. I am trying to do a bit of research to be prepared. I have also not found a holistic vet in the Toledo, Ohio or surrounding area. I searched this site many times looking for a remedy for a large tumor that appeared on my dog's head above her eye. She is a bichon and is 13yrs old. I tried the castor oil faithfully about 6 or more times a day for weeks but it did not work for me. The lump was getting larger and harder. I stumbled on seabuckthorn berry oil and started giving her half a dropper every day. It's been a little over one month and the tumor which had been there for about 9 months is completely flat!! It just amounts to raised skin now. I wanted to share this because I thought it was amazing and I always come here looking for help so I hope this helps someone. There is also a seabuckthorn seed oil available but I bought the berry oil not the seed oil. It tastes better and has slightly different make up. It is for human consumption - they both are - so it is safe for your pet. I guessed at the amount and it seems fine for my dog who is about 19 pounds. If your dog has lumps please try this. It also gives her more energy. I don't know if I can say where I got this but it is available on the internet. It comes in a small bottle with a dropper. It is easy to administer as she just licks it from her bowl. I sometimes rub some on her gums and it helps to keep them healthy and reduce bad breath odor. Please post here if your dog was helped by this. We need to keep our dogs healthy without drugs.

Thankyou so much for this site. I found out about coconut oil on this site but have some suggestions based on my experience of it. I am using it for my old golden retriever to help extend his life as he is in heart failure(also on diuretics and Vetmedin). The coconut oil makes him more energetic, and I believe helps his old joints but the most noticable effect is it makes his "old dog lumps" resolve, even ones he has had for years. He is lump free at the age of 16. I tried the extra virging cold pressed coconut oil but it didn't help my own rheumatism and seemed to help my dog less too. I have also noticed my nasal polyps have suddenly gone. When I stop the coconut oil my retriever grows new lumps but they are gone within two weeks of starting the coconut oil again. I am also using coconut oil to prevent seizures for my red boarder collie/ blue healer cross. In his first year of life he has had at least four grand-mal seizures, which honey rubbed on his gums brings him out of. Hopefully the coconut oil will keep him seizure free. Coconut oil is amazing.
Do you know of anyone who has used castor oil on a cat? My cat has a tumor that just keeps growing. My vet told me he could take it off a few yrs. ago, but that every time he had done that, the cat only lived a few months. I am going to get some castor oil TODAY and start putting it on her.

Update on "Tumor" with Castor oil treatment:
I had a veterinarian inspect the flattened, bumpy spot that was left after the castor oil ruptured the large growth, and the vet said that it is/was a WART.
So, apparently, castor oil is very activating to tumors and dissolves them. Now that I think that it's a wart, I think that I will use ACV to clear it up.

Turmeric does work... We have 2 dogs with the same problem and we have been using it with Pomegranate extract and Broccoli extract and also use the Turmeric Extract... Go to a holistic health store and tellthem what it is for and they will tell you how much per pound your dog is to use. Also don't feed them store bought dog food anymore... Make your own with Organic Chicken and buy some liver and cook it and mix in Broccoli and spinach and Shiitake Mushrooms. Also Beets are good for them too. Organic Coconut Oil is good for them. A good Krill Oil is good too. You can look up a good diet for dogs that have cancer and it will tell you more to put in it... The Dog Foods now have alot of not good stuff in it and is actually causing the cancers.... when you start them on a new diet it's ok to get them slowly into the new food by doing parts to parts on it till they get used to the new.

I'd like to know more details. My GSP canine has multiple benign tumors, most concerned with the ones in her belly area (I see a change in her poop). Tested, show benign but growing - spreading. I was going to get her shaved and use castor oil. I've read this and would like to know 1/2 n 1/2 each mixture? Did you shave the area? Use any kind of large bandaid? I may need to use an elizabethan collar so she won't lick it. I'd love for them to be gone in 10 days. She gets grain free food n treats, filtered water, chloraphyl and Garden of Life Superfood (greens) which I think is why they are benign. I want to cleanse her lymph system as this may be the real issue as well. Thanks!

An update on Castor Oil and my 9 year-old poodle mix's abnormal growth:
Three weeks of nightly castor oil made the growth rupture.
I then treated it for two weeks alternately with hydrogen peroxide, alcohol and antibiotic ointment, and kept it covered to prevent licking.
After a month, the once large eraser-sized growth is now a flat, reddish, hardened and dry spot. I'm still not confident that this is a good thing since I would like for it to be completely gone. I think that I will let it rest for a week and then begin the castor oil treatment again.

My nine year old poodle-mix has had what seems to be a fatty tumor that is a little larger than an eraser. When she was three years old, this was just a skin tag, but over the years it grew and it became mostly round and white.
After benefiting from so many of the remedies here on this site, I decided to try castor oil on the tumor to see if it would go away. Every night, for three weeks, I rubbed a bit of castor oil on the tumor and nothing seemed to be happening.
At exactly the third week, my dog started licking the tumor a lot for the first time and when I checked her, the tumor had split open and there seemed to be a bit of blood and pus. I panicked since I was afraid that she would get an infection (and with the bad economy, I have no money for either of us to go to a doctor at this point) so I put hydrogen peroxide on it to clean it and wrapped it in a bandage so that she couldn't lick on it.
I kept cleaning it regularly and keeping it wrapped, though the wrapping comes off easily and she starts licking it more.
The problem is that the tumor seems to not be healing. The open spot is there and it doesn't look right and I'm afraid to continue to put castor oil on it when it is like this, so I have been continuing to keep it clean with H2O2. I feel really bad that I put my girl through this when the tumor wasn't really bothering her to begin with.
Right now, the tumor is open on top and looks lumpy inside and there is a dark center (reminds me of the dark center that warts have).
I hope that this doesn't mean that this is a cancerous tumor. I just wanted to post this so that you will know what you might be getting into with the application of castor oil. It definitely does something.

Food Grade H2O2 is safe for pets, at lower doses. I have quite a number of cats and kittens, and have been giving them Food Grade H2O2 in their drinking water for about a month.
I have a female cat that developed large tumors on her underside. It was getting to the point that it was difficult for her to walk. My wife and I knew that we might have to put her down. The cat has been with us since she was born, and isn't very old. We could not bear the thought of losing her. I ask my wife for one week, to see if I could come up with a treatment.
I had been studing and researching Food Grade H2O2 for some time. I already had some on hand.
I believed it would work, but how to get it into her system was the problem. I did some research an found a product that was used on horses, for injuries. It was said to be able to enter the body thru the skin and relieve the pain. The product is DMSO. I found it to be sold locally.
I didn't have much time to create a treatment, and really didn't have a lot of choice. I made a mixture of DMSO and Food Grade H2O2 ( I used the H2O2 as a carrier to enter the body). I disinfected the area with a 3% solution of H2O2 and applied the mixture with a Q-tip to the largest tumors. (make sure whatever means used to apply and mixture of DMSO is clean, as it will carry anything it comes in contact with into the blood stream). Within 24 hours the tumors had reduced by 25%. I was amazed at its power. I have been treating her now for 10 days and the tumors are all but gone.
I believe those who doubt, will continue to doubt until they are infected with a serious disease and pray for a treatment to heal them. The answer is Food Grade H2O2. I have witnessed the power of Food Grade H2O2 and truly believe it may be a treatment for all serious diseases in animals and humans. (H2O2 and DMSO are not approved for human use by the FDA, what a shame.)
My 9 year old male boxer, 40 lbs, developed a tumor around his penis area. it has gotten bigger over the last week. I have taken him to two vets, who biopsyed him to see what kind of cancer it is. I have increased his dose of organic coconut oil and and have started giving him one teaspoon of tumeric for the last 4 days. The website that Catherine from Brackettville, Texas mentions above is the correct ORIGINAL Essiac site as there is only ONE company that makes the Essiac as per nurse Rene Caisse's formula. I purchase mine from one of their distributors - All Things Healthy in NZ. They are great to deal with and reasonable on price.
My cat Ally is a 16 yr old Blue Burmese. She has a tumour in her mouth, at first it was under her chin but now has one under her jaw in her neck. The vet said it is in her soft tissue and not operable. I started her on essiac in August and the lump under her chin has disappeared but the other one hasn't yet. She had previously had 4 teeth removed which I think started the cancer feeding. I am now rubbing castor oil on it twice a day but only began this a few days ago. My problem now is that she is having trouble eating, I don't know if the tumour is getting bigger on the inside and causing her problems as she can't keep her tongue in now, it pokes out a little all the time. She had a little blood in her food and I wiped it from her mouth last night when she tried to eat but I cannot see any cause when I look in her mouth. The blood appeared from the side the tumour is on. Could the castor oil be causing this?
Does anyone have any suggestions to get her to eat so she isn't in discomfort. She can still drink fine. Any help appreciated, she is very precious to me.

I have used castor oil on every huge wound on horses and big ones on dogs with no ill effects (for over 12 years), I have done it ever since a old bushie told me to use it on a horse that opened his chest on a steel fence post and vet advised to put down, horse healed without a scar and full muscle movement. It keeps flys away, though on a dog that can lick his self we had to bandage at first then, he then had a ice cream container on his head for a day. I am about to use it on a squamous cell carcinoma on a horses nose to see the effect will keep you updated... Oh and my mother had it placed on her foot when she sliced the ball just about off when she was a child and she has not had any problems with it, it doesn't burn but it does heat up so don't rub in at all pouring over is best and if you can not cover it it is better as have heard of it blistering. But have used on back legs of unhandled horses and if it hurt to apply they would have kicked me for sure, I hose down first so they get used to the water movement then pouring castor oil is not even felt and after the 3 day they just let me pour it on. It seems to settle the nerve ending and stop the pain...

Is your dog better? I have a dog with the same condition and I'm treating her nasal tumour with homeopathic Hekla Lava 6x given 2ce a week. Other than discomfort breathing (mucus blocks the passage) she's eating well and active. Hekla lava seems to help with the mucus and with a bony growth on her right hindleg - but I can't see any improvement otherwise.

I too would like to know if castor oil is only applied to growths, both fatty, and cancerous, which are on the OUTSIDE of the skin, or at least partially exposed, so they can safely leak outside of the body.
I was wondering if giving a dog hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting could cause the same dog to rupture a tumor in his liver? My dog had ingested a corn cob about 3 weeks ago and so I gave him hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting, but he never vomited. Then about 4 days ago he became very ill, and I thought for sure it was the corn cob blocked in his intestines, only to find out he had a ruptured tumor on his liver, and I was just wondering if the hydrogen peroxide would cause that to happen to a tumor???

My 11 year old cocker poo has a rock hard fatty tumor on her chest, under her pectoral muscles and pressing on her shoulder joint. Vet says to wait because surgery in that particular location is terribly difficult. She's a therapy dog and so special to me and others and I hate to see her in this much pain. I ordered a lot of the items suggested here, such as essiac tea concentrate, shark cartilage, alkalinity drops, castor oil etc but I can't figure out how you are applying the castor oil. Are you shaving the location first or just pasting this mess onto their fur? How do you bandage this location over the fur? Do you then give them a bath everyday to keep the rugs, furniture clean? Will the castor oil be able to reach this tumor, under her pectoral muscle? Thanks for any help provided.

My 12 year old cat Molly has a tumor up her nose and is losing her sight. I have read about Essiac Tea. As I live in England I don't know where to purchase this. I am really desperate to try Essiac Tea, could you please help if you have any information about it and where I can purchase it from. I would be very grateful for your help. The vet says it might not be possible to operate to remove the tumor as it is uo her nose and if it get any larger I would have to put her to sleep. I really do not want it to come to this as she is so precious to me.
