For some reason I had this wart growing on my thumb for a few months. It was embarrassing and ugly and I just wanted it to go away!!! Anyway, found this site and decided to try the Apple Cider vinegar. Seriously, IT WORKS!! It's REALLY weird writing this after just a few days, but I'm wearing a bandage on my thumb right now covering a completely healed wart. Tommorow I'm going to start the banana peel treatment for 10-year old plantar's warts. I'll be checking in with the results.

Duct Tape

my gp doctor told me of this -- IT WORKS!! -- plantar warts (the warts most common on the bottom of the feet) cover them with duct tape and keep them covered with the tape for several days (mine took about three weeks) there is no pain or discomfort. i think the tape keeps the wart from getting air and thus it dies. at any rate, this works every time.

Hydrogen Peroxide

I went to the dr. for a lump on the top of my head. It started out as a pimple and ended up about the size of a quarter and was continuing to grow. The dr. told me to come back and she was going to cut it off. I didn't want this to happen so I had a week to work something out. I went to this site and found the Hydrogen Peroxide and Baking Soda paste method and thought I would try it. I put it on my head morning, noon and night. After about three days it started to burn so I would just put it on at night. I went back to the dr. a week later and she told me to keep doing what I was doing and about a week later the thing is totally gone. I also have some skin tags and they work great for them also.

I applied tea tree oil to wart on bottom of son's foot for two weeks, twice a day. When skin had pulled away from wart, and wart was at surface, we soaked foot for about an hour. The wart removed itself from son's foot. We were absolutely amazed! The skin healed back quickly with no scarring. Thank you for making your website available to all for free!

Hot Cigarette Tip

I burned the wart on my forearm 30 years ago with the tip of my cigarette. I burnt it to the root on the spot. Unfortunately, I carry a light scar today. I think using a soldering iron may be better but I do not recommend this to anyone. Ask a doctor or a surgeon to do it for you because it plain works.

I have warts on my elbow and they've only reproduced onto my legs and neck. My friend had warts too and he said he'd taken a multi-vitamin everyday and now he's wart-less! I've been taking these vitamins for about a week now and I've already seen great results. I didn't want to have to get them surgically removed so I'm just looking for house-remedies to try. I bet this banana peel will work, I've heard it a lot about it and just now checked this website to confirm what I've heard. Thank you for providing this wonderful information for everybody!

When I was 13 I too had a problem getting rid of warts on my hands. One day a family friend was visiting and noticed my hands. He instructed me to get a raw potato. He peeled the potato and cut it in half. He then had me take a bite of the raw potato, and rub my remaining potato on all of the warts. He took his half of potato and also rubbed it across all of my warts while chanting something in spanish. He told me to bury my half, not letting the location be known to anyone, and he would do the same. After we had buried the halves, he told me that once the potatoes dissolved, my warts would be gone. After two weeks the warts had disappeared! To this day they have never returned.

I've had a wart on my right hand for almost a year now. I've tried the freeing kits in the store and goign to the dermatologist with no luck! I searched online and found out about the ACV method. let me tell you i was very skeptical and now i am a believer. lol. I applied the ACV with a cottom ball underneath a bandaid. At times there was slight discomfort but after three days, the wart fell off and has been gone ever since.

Pickling Vinegar

I had a wart on my end of my thumb and the root was under my thumnail. I had tried the store remedies but they did not work. I decided to use Pickling Vinegar as apposed to Apple Cider. The reason was that Pickling Vinegar has a higher percentage of Acetic Acid @ 7%. Apple Cider and regular vinegar has only 5%. I placed the vinegar on a small cotton swab, placed it on the wart, then wrapped a few pieces of duct tape over to seal it in and allow not air to get in. I die this ever 2 to 3 days The wart was gone in 10 days. WARNING: The sting and pain I endured from the acidity was very intense for the first 4 days.

Vaseline and duct tape cured a wart on my daughter's finger. I smothered the wart in vaseline and wrapped her finger in duct tape and left it on for a week.

My husband has had a wart on his finger for years. It would start to pop out and he'd pull it and cut the top of it off. It was painful, would heal somewhat and start the process all over again. We soaked a small piece of cotton ball in Apple Cider Vinegar, put on the wart and covered it with a band-aid and left it on 1 day. It was a bit painful, but started turning brown. We did it again a 2nd day, it wasn't as painful and it's now black, dry and looks like it's going away.

We're using apple cider vinegar to cure warts. My children had warts. My daughter had one on the bottom of her foot and my son on his toe. the dr prescribed that sallycic acid and it did nothing but kill the skin aound the wart. I tried over the counter remover-- it helped a little. But then found this web site, and it seems to be working. my daughter says it stings a little bit, not bad, and so far it has worked markedly in one day. I'll be sure to let you know in 3 days if it works. From what people say it should only take a couple of days.

Milkweed

I had thirteen warts on my hands and a planters wart on my heel. Dr.s could not get rid of them. I found the milkweed cure. tried it and it worked. I've since recomended it to many, including my own children. all with the same sucess. The easiest way we found to use it is to apply the milk from a milkweed pod to a bandaid and apply it once a day for two weeks to each wart to be removed. Guarantee this to work! The reason for the bandaid is two fold. First the milk is sticky and accumulates lint when exposed. The second is the milk dries white and is very obvious in a situation we would rather not be drawing attention to. Try it -- you won't be disappointed!

I'm amazed at how many people know about the Potato Remedy for Warts. When I was about 10 years old (40 years ago) my stepmother told me about the potato remedy. At the time I had about 15 warts on my hands. Of course, no one at school wanted to hold hands with me. I didn't really believe the hocus pocus would work, but after cutting a potato in half, peeling one side and rubbing it on my hands and burying the other half, a few weeks later my stepmother asked me if my warts had gone away. I said NO, but when I looked at my hands, the warts were gone. She told me that when the eyes of the potato grew out in the yard where I'd planted it, the warts got smaller and smaller and finally went away. Forty years later I've never had another wart. AMAZING. It still amazes me after all these years.

I had a large annoying and sometimes painful wart on the pinky side of my wrist. I had this wart for from about the age of 10 to 13 when during a family get together my great uncle told me he could remove it. He had me cut a potatoe in half and he rubbed his half on the wart and I then rubbed my half on the wart as to make sure the wart was sufficiently wet. Then he instructed me to take my half of the potatoe out and bury it in the yard where only I knew its location and he would do the same. Within 2 weeks this monster wart dried up and began splintering and falling out until nothing remained, not even a scar. That was 23 years ago and it never came back. I am a believer!
