Wart Removal Remedy: I tried the recipe of apple cider vinegar and onion pieces soaked overnight and applied with a band-aid. I did this 24hrs. a day for 1 week. I had one on my forehead that was getting bigger and now it's GONE. Once the scab came off, there was no more wart. Trust me, it worked and saved a trip to have it removed.

I have been on many websites in search of a treatment for warts and so many people have sworn that Apple Cider Vinegar works. I am on my third day of treatment which includes soaking cottonwool in ACV, placing it on the wart and securing with a bandaid. As well as this soak the wart for 20mins a day in ACV. My wart is now very swollen with a white ring around it and the actual wart is black. It is painful and throbs but if it works it will be worth it!

Apple Cider Vinegar (Remedy): Unbelievable results. 17 years ago I had a planters wart lasered out of my foot. Painful! I did not want to go through that again, but am convinced that is the only way to get rid of the things. I decided to try this before seeking laser cut out. I started with the banana peel, but it was not easy. So I went to the Apple Cider Vinegar. It took 2 days to see something happening, but 6 weeks to get rid of it completly. It was actually 2 clustered. The surrounding skin peeled a little but did not cause problems. I soaked a cotton ball and duct taped it to my wart at night. In the morning I would just duct tape. Did people laugh? Yes they did. Do I care? No I don't. I feel sorry for people not willing to take a chance who go through other treatments, like laser-PAINFUL. I will be more open to use this sight for future minor ailments.

My 7 yr old daughter has had embarrasing warts in the past and has had them burned off at the doctors office. I tried applying apple cider vinegar directly to the wart covered in a bandaid and the wart literally fell off in about 4 days. I used the cotton from the end of a q-tip and soaked it in apple cider vinegar then put in on the wart with a bandaid to hold it in place. I changed it everyday for 4 days until the wart fell off. I have heard it can take up to a week. It is the most painless way to get rid of those embarrasing warts. I hope this helps anyone because I have tried everything to the expensive doctor visits and this is by far the best remedy for those hard to remove warts.

I had a small wart on the palm of my hand for years. I didn't even know what it was for a long time - at first I thought it was a callous. Once I figured out it was a wart, I kept picking at it, but it would come back. I never took it seriously because it didn't really bother me, but eventually it just bugged me that it wouldn't go away!
I tried the vinegar approach. I only had white vinegar at home when I first tried it, so I used that, and later switched to apple cider vinegar. I don't think it matters which you use.
I dipped a small piece of cotton in vinegar, then put it on the wart with a band-aid covering overnight. The wart soaked up the vinegar, swelled and turned white. The skin around it turned red. And my hand was very sore - it hurt more than I would have expected, though it was not unbearable.
I did that every night possible for a couple of weeks, and sometimes put a drop or two of vinegar on a band-aid and wore that during the day, too. There were some days and nights, though, when I was out of town and couldn't do the vinegar procedure, so maybe that made the process take longer. After the first 10 days or so, I was able to peel off most of the wart after soaking in warm water for about 10 minutes.
I kept doing the vinegar/band-aid thing, and at the end of two weeks, maybe a couple days more, I soaked again in warm water and peeled off the entire wart. It left a small hole in my palm where the wart had been, and the skin around it was dry and flakey, but all that healed after a few days and now you can't tell there had ever been anything there at all.
Like I said, the wart wasn't a big deal, but it really annoyed me that it existed, so I'm thrilled that I beat the darned thing!!
Salicylic Acid

I removed a wart with Salicycle Acid found over-the-counter at any drug store. The problem is that the acid creates a callous over the wart so one must continually wear down the callous and wart using a callous file or pumous stone before each acid application 3 or 4 times per day. Use the stone or file wet before each acid application. Eventaully, one will arrive at the root of the wart but continue the applications for another few days until there is no sign of the wart and there is no pain when you apply pressure to the area. It took me about 1 week to become wart free.

A few years ago i was working in forestry picking up wood anyway i ended up with heaps of warts on my hands (they call it working hands) i remembered my old family cure for warts which was to rub the slimy part of a snail over the wart. you only should need to do this once and they should be gone within 1-7 days. im pretty sure they were gone the next day this was years ago and they havent grown back sometimes it can be pretty hard to find a snail but if you check the grass on a wet night (easier to find in the country) you should be able to find some hope this helps

This is unbelievable, but I've had as awful wart on my cheek for 14 years!! I actually didn't know what it was for quite sometime, because I was so used to it. I tried Red Wine Vinegar on a cottonball, left it on for 10 hours, and it's already black and shriveled!! Only after 1 day! I'm in shock! It's totally on the outs!!!

I found this site (and numerous others) a few weeks ago when searching for a natural way to get rid of a wart (and clear up my chronic sinus issue, among other things). Within two weeks of starting ACV on my wart, it was completely gone. Just soak a small cotton ball, stick it on the wart with a bandage overnight and watch it work! Also, after drinking 2 tablespoons in a glass of apple juice every morning, my sinuses are much clearer, I'm no longer cold all the time, and I no longer have my usual afternoon sleepiness.

I've tried Vitamin E, freezing, tape, a ton of different things and nothing has worked. So far the wart has turned white, and kind of swollen, It hurts, but I hope this works. I'm desperate to get rid of this before prom!

Fasting

I had little warts on my hand for a few years and finally got sick of looking at them. After trying every alternative treatment that I could find I went to a dermatologist who told me that warts are caused by a virus which is usually fought off by a properly functioning immune system. After a few times of getting liquid nitrogen treatments to try to freeze them off with no luck, I read a book on cleansing and detoxifying and tried a couple of 24 hour water fasts, one per week on a Saturday. after the second fast I thought that I noticed a reduction in size of the warts so I did 2 more fast on the next 2 weekends. By the end of my 4th fast the warts were almost completely gone. I did not do any more fasting but my warts were completely gone in 2 more weeks.

This may be posted in wrong area, but I have a strange cure for warts that worked for me. A math teacher of mine in my 10th grade year noticed I had them severely on my hands. By severe, I mean, dermatologists could not get rid of some by burning or freezing. She recommended I try Tums Antacids. I chewed 1 regular strength mint pill once a days before bedtime. In no longer than a month's time, my warts had simply ceased to exist. I had tried everything before, dermatologists, duct tape, liquids, but this method worked best for me. I will say, i do randomly have one spurt up from time to time, but I just start tums again, and away they go. So hope this helps.

Hey, I like this remedy consideration... When I was a child living in rural area, I had this obcessive fasination with Frogs. At the end of Winter ponds would thaw with floating hibernating Frogs banking on the shore. I'd thaw them out, use them in Science Fair projects, watch them grow, & love them. Everyone said not to play with frogs because their "Pee" would grow Warts. AND I did have Warts all over my hands, & arms. I use to chew at them which drove everyone crazy. One weekend when I was visiting with one of my really cool aunts, she told me if I took a cotton thread in white & counted my Warts & add as many extra that you might think you missed, & tye that many knots in the thread. Bury it in the dirt & when the string roits your warts will be gone.....It worked for me, 8-9 years old. I've paid attention to "Voo Doo" remedies for years... Pretty interesting stuff. Good Luck!

Knotted String for Wart Removal - My grandmother had a similar remedy, and it was always successful: take off the string which is tied around a roast or other piece of meat, tie knots in the string - corresponding to the number of warts you have - rub the warts with the string, then bury or fling the string in a place where no one will ever find it. Don't know why that worked for Grandma and numerous children and grandchildren, but it did.
