I have always been prone to constipation. Staying off dairy has helped a lot most of my adult life, combined with taking magnesium at bedtime, but sometimes that is not enough. Stress and travel seem to make my body resistant to regularity. Recently however, I have been enjoying an apple or two a day as a snack, with almond butter. I don't know that I have ever been this regular in my life. A significant cold has affected so many that I spend time with and thus far I have been spared. Perhaps an apple a day does keep the doctor away!
