I have read through earth clinic for over two years now and recently I decided to begin posting the few cures I have found over time to work and writing on my own experience with them too. Hope this helps someone, as earth clinic has helped me so much.
Exactly a bit over two years ago I got several red little bumps on my armpit after shaving. They grew fast and it was very painful. One of them was even opened to be cleaned deep by a doc and she did not do a good job so I was miserable.
What I did was to apply coconut oil topically on the area until absorbed, about 4 to 5 times during the daytime. Bumps went away completely in 3 days. The oil I used was the cheapest coconut oil I could find in the foreign shops of Norway, pure but unrefined, not virgin.
When I got a tiny bump in that area again, I tried with other higher quality virgin coconut oil and I never got the same result as with the other cheap coconut oil. Coconut oil was really a bless! And did in 3 days what antibiotics could not do alone in 2 weeks.
After two years I got another boil but in a different area and this time coconut oil alone was not enough. However I can say for the armpit area it worked as a charm.

I've been having a problem with boils this last year, they have lasted for months before they come to a head and finally drain. I had one nasty one on the right side of the groin, which finally went away, then last week I could feel one starting up on the left in the same place. From the moment I noticed the swelling I thought I'd try Extra Virgin coconut oil. So I kept it smothered, on the forth day it at the appearance of a pimple which I just popped. Nothing like the tedious month long problems with the other three. I'm sure this is the way to go, as the coconut oil must get into the core of the boil and aid the healing. I would like some feed back to acertain if this is a really valid method of dealing with the problem.

I get boils in the inner thigh and on my bum regularly, especially during my period. I discovered that by application of coconut oil, once every 1/2 hour or one hour, the boils subsided or broke and disappeared within two days. However, this seems to work only for boils below the navel. I have boils on my chest which don't respond to this. Hope this works for all of you.

I've been using a paste made from turmeric powder and coconut oil to deplete acne boils and the scars left from it. I used pure virgin coconut oil alone on the boils and they depleted in about 5 days. when I mix the paste and use that as a facial mask before sleep it only takes about three days to completely clear my face. I've been studying and working with theses to substances for 3 weeks and am already very impressed with the results on my self and 5 other willing subjects.

Colloidal Gold, Bentonite Clay

Hi, got here accidently, got fascinated. I had some boils which started out like a spider bite. I attacked it with hot water lavender poultice (very BRIEF, just to open the pores), and then a bentonite clay mix, combined with colloidal silver. This usually will take down any infection. However, it wasn't until I poured colloidal gold solution over the leg, inaddition to the bentonite, that it got cured. For open, supporating sores, etc, colloidal silver combined with zinc is quite effective. Also, to help cure the heavy metal toxicity which you said contributes, mix 1 tablespoonful high grade bentonite (or pascalite) clay in one glass of water. Drink this every other day for about eight weeks. This is an amazing remedy.

I suffered from boils in my underwear area for about 7 yrs, with a frequency of about every other month. From this amazing site, I was a user of the turmeric paste cure, which never failed me, but it does stain everything it touches. I then spent a lot of time in the colloidal silver thread one day and decided to buy it at the health food store one day. When the next boil came, I tried the colloidal silver (24 ppm) suspended in gel, on it. I figured the gel would stay on my boils longer. This only took one treatment to shrink the boil considerably, and one more treatment to finish it off. I was amazed. I did not get another round of boils for about 4 months, and then used the silver gel again, which worked equally as well. It was another 6 months before I got them again, used the silver gel and the boils were gone. It has now been almost a year since I've had any boils at all. I am SO eternally grateful to this site, and its posters, for adding to the quality of my life. I have not had a prescription from a Dr since I found this site because I can always take care of it at home. Thank you, Earth Clinic! I am thrilled to have found the power of colloidal silver on here.

First I have to say I love earthclinic website. So many natural cures to look up.
My husband had another boil on his behind. After one week he finally told me, he had put on rubbing alcohol. I immediately looked at the website to see what can be done. I had colloidal siver and I put it on a little cotton cloth and covered it with a bandage. Overnight it drew out the head and looked a lot better, redness and a lot of the swelling was gone. Put on some more and covered it. Thank you earthclinic and all the wonderful people who share their natural remedies.

I started having boil in November of 2007. I was going to the emergence room and having them lace them. Then in January of this year I was took I had MRSA and then a month later my 20 year old daughter found out she had it.She had a boil in the front between her legs and and on the sids of her finger nails. We both have trouble with bandaid. They leave marks on the skin, but not on the bottom. In March I went to a Health Food Store to buy something I read about and a clerk told me about his staph he had and what he used. I bought hight potent Colloidal Silver (500ppm) and MSM lotion. He told me to take a MSM lotion in my hand and a drop of Colloidal Silver, mix it together and rub it on my boil. It worked on my side boil, but not on my bottom because anything I put on my bottom will be saoked up and the boil gets bigger. I put a drop of the Colloidal silver on my finger and rub it in and it works. I only use it when the boil is small. I even take 3 drops by mouth 2-3 times a day all the time and my boils are geting smaller.
I was told by a doctor not to soak in a hot bath because you can reinfect the boil and that is true. I stoped going that and my boils don't get as big. I even found out by using a hot compress it does the same thing(boil gets bigger) Now I jut use Colloidal Silver, cover it and forget about it and it goes away faster.

Hi. I didn't try turmeric when I was in boils. I use Colloidal Silver Water. Apply a drop or two on top of boil (acne too!). After 1-2 hr it stops hurting, stops "growing". Up to 3 days it subsides to red spot. You can use small hair spry bottle (with very fine mist like spry). If you have acne or boils more then one and you expect more to show up spray it on your skin just once and let it dry. Nothing will break out! I suffered for almost 30 years from something what doctor called "diaper rush" (!). The pic of my "diaper rush" was always during summer months. After using once single spray of Colloidal Silver Water I am free of this skin condition. I will get 1 tiny pimple time to time but who hasn't have it during hot summer days?

Biotic Silver cured my first boil but I wasn't careful and it spread as it drained. I wasn't aware of chemtrails and did not pay any attention at the time of my newly formed boil.
Colloidal Silver, Blue Flag Root

I got my first boil several years ago, went to the doctor had it lanced and was put on antibiotics. I decided I didn't want to have to do that again. I have been getting boils on and off since then and have tried various remedies. I tried turmeric it worked great at first but has not done the trick for quite sometime. I did some research to find that Colloidal Silver helped with boils. Ever since then if I start to get a boil I spray with silver (do not rub it will only irritate the boil more). Also if I don't find the boil while it's still small I take Blue Flag Root. The owner of the health food store told me to try it and the silver because he used to get something similar. Blue Flag Root helps with the inflammation and pain of the boil. Together I think this combination has saved me several trips to the doctor.
Comfrey -- Important Remedy for Staph Infections!

Just thought you might like to hear about another amazing property of comfrey, one that I was surprised to see not mentioned among your cures and treatments for staph infections. Comfrey has been shown to be able to burst the cell walls of varius types of staph bacteria. It only takes about 10 minutes of exposure to a comfrey infusion, used as a compress to start killing staph by causing the cell walls to weaken and fail. I had read about this in an article some 15 years ago, and had the opportunity to pass this on not long afterwards to a friend who's husband was near to losing his leg to a staphlococcus infection. He had diabetes, which made the situation worse. My friend, a lady by the name of Colleen who worked at the local health food store started immediately bathing and wrapping her husband's leg in comfrey tea compresses. The next time I saw her, she told me his leg had healed up in a matter of two weeks, much to their doctor's surprise. With all the drug resistant varieties of staph going around, your readers might want to know about this godsend property of comfrey! Please pass it on!

Copper Penny Water

As a child I had recurring boils. My mom got the advice to take an old copper penny, heat in to red hot on a stove plate, and then drop it into a glass of water. Then I had to drink the water. No more boils, ever. You have to use a copper penny that hasn't been heated before.

Copper, ACV, Sea Salt

Copper for Boils:
Recently had a boil on my left elbow. eventually pus started oozing out. I started by putting 1 tsp ACV in a small copper dish, added some salt & a little baking soda, little charcoal, then some oil, (mostly sunflower / sesame oil), or sometimes just aloe vera gel in place of oil to avoid feeling oily, and applied this on the boil (used a gauge pad & bandage).
Two days later, the boil had started drying up, & no longer required bandaging. I continued to apply the above mix, without charcoal, but with a little mg oil, for the next few days, on the skin around the boil, till it completely healed.
It would also make sense to keep some water stored (12 hours or more) in a copper jar with about 1/4th cup ACV & 1 tsp sea salt added, ready for use for cleaning boils. Copper, Apple Cider Vinegar & sea salt all act like antibiotic. I generally transfer this solution to a spray bottle before use. This avoids spread of infection around the boil to other areas of skin.
During the healing phase, it often starts to itch around the boil, & you need to scratch. I used the edge of a copper spoon, with the above mix applied on skin, to scratch, & the itching stops almost instantaneously.
