Heal Boils Naturally: Effective Home Remedies

Lining of an Egg Shell

I recently had a boil (ailment) and was experiencing difficulty getting it to come to a head. My daughter-in-law researched your site and was able to give me some suggestions to assist in my plight. She gave me several remedies. I chose to use the skin of an egg and lined it with a tumeric paste ((few drops of water & tumeric)(remedy). I applied it to the boil and covered it with a bandaid overnight. In the morning it had come to a head and I was able to extract the core. I then covered the area with an antibiotic ointment and a bandaid. It worked fine!!! Thanks so much for your information.

Ph Balancing and Clay Poultice for Boils
Posted by Liz (Scranton, Pennsylvania) on 03/15/2008

Hi Everyone,
I want to add some information to the post about the calcium bentonite clay poultices that I wrote here a week ago.

While reading further on the internet, I discovered someone who was mixing the clay with ten parts per million colloidal silver. After covering the boils he found a significant improvement overnight, and after four days of wearing the silver poultice the boil was gone and none have returned in three years. This individual explained the ionic exchange between the silver and the infection being much enhanced by the pulling effects of the clay.

Because the boil on my hand was so serious and spreading so quickly and deeply, I decided to continue with the clay and silver poultice instead of clay and water.

The difference was dramatic! Overnight the silver clay pulled the poison under the skin into a bubble-- like a second degree burn. I was at first alarmed because it looked worse than ever. Night after night I continued the silver clay poultice, wrapped in plastic and held in place with and elastic bandage.

AFTER ONE WEEK, THE INFECTION IS GONE! I also slugged a couple ounces of this silver a day to check anything that might have gone internal, but I believe the poultice really did the trick.

Of important note, my understanding is that MRSA staff reside inside the nose, so I bought the cheapest no-drip nasal spray medicine I could find and emptied the contents and cleaned it out thoroughly, sending filtered water through the spray system for 10 good pumps. Then I filled the bottle with colloidal silver, using this to get the silver inside my nose and sinuses. I rub my nose holes together to spread this completely. I guess this kills the staff where it is carried. Added bonus: stopped a cold in its tracks!

Word about colloidal silver: It is too expensive by the bottles. You can brew your own very cheaply by making a one-time investment in a good, plug-in, steady- current silver generator.

Do not use the battery operated kind. The silver particles are too large and clump together. Look on the internet. There are several good companies with good information (I have no financial interest in these companies).
I am just beginning to appreciate all the uses for silver in fighting pathogens. With a little creativity, there are so many effective treatments possible with this stuff.

Just like ACV and cayenne pepper, silver may be indispensable to maintaining good health in our world which is slowly poisoning itself and hell-bent on profit.

Thank you, Earth Clinic for letting me share this here. To anyone struggling with boils and MRSA, try the silver poultice. It looked as if my hand were being eaten off, but in one week, my skin looks like the infection never happened!
Liz"

Silica

hello everyone, i was doing some research on skin boils and came across a site that listed different types of skin boils and what supplements to take for them. if you have recurring boils you might want to try taking silica or silicea goes by two different names but is the same thing. had a recurring boil for over a year that just would not go completely away, have tried numerous remedies, hardly any worked except for the vinegar directly on the boil, but that was temporary i was looking for something to stop it from coming back. surely enough i came across that website and i tried the silica and the boil is almost gone it's been only two weeks and i feel better, bought silica at my local health food store, i was at my wits end with this boil thing, but the silica seems to help like no other. the antibiotics didn't help of course, this just may be it. just thought i'd post it hopefully it will help someone else.

Dietary Recommendations

I've experienced extremely painful boils/ acne-like, very hard but with no pus starting about 2 yrs ago. I am of average weight and have a healthy diet. I spent many, many months trying to pinpoint the source, doing lots of research. I did finally go to an allopathic nurse pracitioner who said it was impetigo (because they use yes/no answers on a computerized diagnosis program. WRONG! I believe that it's dermatitis herpetiformus, but I didn't want to go through a biopsy to confirm it. It only occurs when gluten is consumed (which is in just about everything packaged). It is exacerbated by hormonal cycles and low thyroid. I think that perimenopause has thrown off my hormone balance and has led to gluten intolerance. Here's what helps: stop consuming all grains and follow a diet for candida/yeast. This takes a long time, and it was really hard to do, but it is the only real solution I've found. (After finally healing and staying off flour for a year and a half, I had one slice of pizza, and it's deja-vu all over again). Topically, use niacinamide gel (Metazine from Life Link) very frequently (really helps reduce inflammation), salicylic acid gel, and yes, I use cortisone too. I think the niacinamide works best. Vit E is ok if not sourced from wheat. Taking massive supplements hasn't helped (like high doses of A, D, E, selenium, zinc, even up to 400mg CoQ10 -no response. I do use curcumin, wobenzym, niacinimide, colloidal silver. Thyroid supplementation has been a significant help. I have used real low doses of doxycycline for a very limited time and it did seem to help a bit but I stopped due to a reaction beginning. I used activated charcoal and it's possible that considering the link between wheat sensitivity, leaky gut or IgA deficiency, and the breakout a few days later, that it's the charcoal's work not the doxycycline that really helped at that time. Of course, maybe it's really from chemtrail fallout. Who knows? Whatever it is, it is HELL and the Metazine works wonders. Good luck.

Vitamin D

A common factor for most of the boil sufferers is the time of year, late winter when Vit D reserves are at their lowest. Vit D is a necessary part of the immune system. The Vit D Council (Google it) gives free information on doses and some amazing facts on its effectiveness for many ailments. I have used Colorless Iodine for unbroken skin pimples or puncture wounds for years and never get infections, Betadine for scrapes and scratches.Castor oil for sun blemishes, age spots and sun cancers. I work outside, get plenty of those. Used to get boils before I found Colorless Iodine, its getting hard to find (not much profit?) but some chemists will make it up.

Garlic

I've been getting boils for over a year now. I tried treating them with magic clay, tea tree oil, eucalyptus oil, garlic and heat. Heat works well especially if you can soak the boil in hot water, as hot as you can stand as staph is requires a narrow temperature range to survive. The best remedy by far has been to put some liquid from a freshly crushed garlic clove directly on the boil. This may cause a burning sensation and if it is too much dilute it. Usually it will be gone in 24 hours, at most 48.

Cayenne

Hello, I have almost a cure for a Pilonidal cyst. The reason I say almost is it will come back in usually about 10 months to a year, and then you will need to repeat the steps again. I came across it from another person who has suffered from this health problem and has been through many surgeries with no help. I myself have been through one surgery in which the cyst came back a year later. The cure is to put cayenne pepper mixed with water in the sinus opening of the cyst for 3-4 days straight using an eye dropper with a narrow end. The solution should be 1 heaping teaspoon of pepper in a cup of water used over the 3-4 day period. This does sting quite a bit for the first minute or two after the pepper is injected but subsides afterwards. Note: you will probably need someone to do it for you to really get the solution in the sinus. I've read this works because the sting of the pepper brings a rush of white blood cells to the area, not sure if that is true or not, but it worked for me. Of course check with your doctor before doing anything. I'd also be interested if anyone else has found other ways to deal with this issue.

Turmeric, Sea Salt, Lemon

I suffered with boils and impetigo infections for years. The allopathic treatments have been a complete failure and have only made matters worse not to mention very costly. Started to use internal turmeric. Started cleansing wounds with sea salt and water in varying concentrations to remove exudate and puss. Applied raw honey to the wound bed several times a day, everyday. I drank: 1/8 teaspoon of sea salt and washed that down with 16oz. of water 4 times a day. I drink several cups of green tea with honey and raw lemon per day. I would take 1 gram of turmeric 3xday. This combination approach from the inside out is impressive. The honey is amazing. If you think about it honey is protected by antibacterial, anti fungal agents in order that it does not spoil in nature. There is much research done on honey and infections from many credible resources. It works better than any antibacterial chemical product. I have tried many.

Ivory Soap

Here is yet another of my grandma's remedies, although she wasn't what I would have called a naturalist. She had a very painful boil on her armpit that the doctor was going to lance if it didn't break by a certain day. Well, this frightened her so she went in a very hot shower with a bar of Ivory brand soap (she always swore by this brand for ailments and always kept a bar handy) and rubbed that boil up and down with the soap. It burst after I don't know how long. My theory besides the hot water is that Ivory soap dries the skin and makes it constrict, therefore bursting it. But grandma swore something in the soap was helpful, I don't know what, and maybe it drew the boil to a head. I love this site and am so indebted to its creators! Thank you!

Staal Druppels

In 1973 after the birth of my second son, I had a boil which I lanced and got blood poisoning from. I had a course of anti-biotics which didn't help, I then got another boil, not long after. I took 'staal druppels' I cannot remember how many drops at a time, only for a couple of days, I have not had a re-occurence of boils since then.

EC: Staal druppels (translates to "steel drops") is a liquid that bonds open wounds. Does not appear to be sold in the USA.

Figs

I recently have battled with boils. My mother told me about boils mentioned in the bible and how God told someone to treat boils with Fig. I have been eating Fig and taking the seeds out and putting the skin of the Fig under a bandaid. It seemed to work for me so far. They aren't totally gone, but they don't seem to be so bad. I also wipe the area with Wet Wipes. Have been taking Echinacea, Zinc, Vitamin C.with Ester. The highest dose possible. And also putting Hibiclense on and letting it stay on my skin for 15 min. before taking a shower. I am allergic to some of the antibiotics given to me and the others didn't work. Like I said so far this works better than anything else I've tried. Hope this helps. Going to try turmeric along with everything else. SS

Calamine Lotion

Calahist, Walgreens calamine lotion, got rid of the red boils on my face but the ones in my armpit are still fighting. I think the reason is the moisture in that area. So, I am trying baking soda in my armpits along with the Calahist to see if I can keep my armpits dry enough for the Calahist lotion to work there. Yes, the baking soda does burn, but I have to get the area dry somehow.. living in South Florida humidity. Calahist worked a miracle on the red boils on my face.
